Aisha, Reading branch was great from start to finish in under two weeks the whole process complete, moving is daunting especially in the current climate we were made at ease and guided throughout the way, she is an asset to the company, also might I add every body who made this possible where amazing excellent customer service!!!!! Our experience with all the staff at Chancellors in Reading has been a stress free, enjoyable one and we would highly recommend using them! There is such a variation of Estate Agent offerings nowadays but for us, the personal touch makes a huge difference. We needed local knowledge, a company with a pro-active approach and a willingness to maintain momentum by continually encouraging viewings, not only for the first week or two. Reading is flooded with so many new builds and conversions on offer so we needed an agent to take the lead with minimal input from us. We got more than that with the team at Reading. Selling a property, requires an agent you can trust. From the moment we met Gareth, we found him to be extremely likeable, confident and an amiable character. He was well prepared and had obviously done his research, being able to provide all the information we needed to make a decision. We were attracted to the "buzz" in the office at Reading to help us sell our home. Neil persuaded us that they have the team to make it happen quickly. We were not sure what to expect since we are selling a 5 bedroom home and perhaps the demand for that would be more limited than for a 3 - 4 bedroom home. Things started slowly with only 1 or 2 viewings in the first 3 weeks so I talked to Richard Sharman and Josh in the Reading office and they suggested a few things to get things more active. I must say that any viewings we did get were very well qualified (all were already under offer with their own home). We had noticed that an open house was happening in our neighbourhood and mentioned it to Richard, he immediately suggested doing one ourselves and trying to attract some of the people who would be visiting that home (similar in size). It was clear that Richard worked very hard in the following days and registered 2 people for the Saturday afternoon and another one for the following day. The impact of his hard work was one offer on the next working day, which was revised and accepted, and an additional likely offer if we had proceeded with a 2nd viewing. Richard was very encouraging through the process and kept us up to date with his follow-ups. We have accepted an offer subject to contract, and hope to exchange in the coming weeks. The offer was accepted only 5 weeks from initial marketing. We are very happy with that!
