I began working with Coleman Estates in the Summer 2020, despite the difficulties everyone was facing at the time, Coleman Estates continued to be professional, proactive and attentive to everything we needed and nothing was ever too much. Joanna Godwin, Coleman's letting administrator, has played an imperative part in helping our NHS Trust successfully accommodate some of our overseas nurses. Jo has been there every step of the way and has supported us throughout the most uncertain times. Kate Coleman has also been a huge support to the Trust and has often gone above and beyond to ensure an excellent service has been provided and to date, it has been nothing less than. I would like to thank the whole team at Coleman Estates and I would recommend them to anyone looking to buy/rent a property with an estate agent who goes that extra mile.

We recently bought a house through Coleman Estates. Everything from the initial phone call to view to picking up the keys was dealt with quickly and professionally. The team and I mean 'team' were excellent from start to finish. I was selling my mother's house and they did it all for me and helped with the solicitor's part. I was a little dubious of the solicitors at the outset as I felt that, as they are a large company, it wouldn't work, however, it worked very well. The best selling experience ever ( comparing to London, Essex and Shropshire area). The house valuation completed by Max was very friendly and professional with presenting all the pros and cons, avoiding any kind of pushy techniques. He explained us all the related costs and process. Even though our sale collapsed due to our buyer’s issues, ladies from Colman’s Estate ( Dawn and Jo) were very proactive by re-advertising the property in timely manner and arranged 10 viewings within two days. From the outset and to the sale completion they were outstanding. Regardless who I spoke to over the phone or face to face these lovely ladies couldn’t be more helpful. I don't often write reviews, however, given the most difficult and challenging move I have ever experienced in my life I feel compelled to let people know how impressed I have been with Coleman Estate agents, particularly Joanna Stevens. Shame, that I cannot say the same for D B Roberts who were acting for me in the respect of selling my home. What a Breath of fresh air. We had used other letting agents and estate agents within the Telford area whilst looking for a property to Let. Following a few less than perfect general customer service experiences with other agents; we came across Coleman Estates and Lettings and were vastly blown away by how professional this company is. With other agents when asked to be kept informed of any properties that may come up we received general emails with properties not within our preferred search criteria. With Coleman's we did not receive an email! We received a personal phone call from their team with up and coming properties that fitted to our requirements. My time renting was horrific, I can’t put that blame on Coleman’s as it was due to landlord. Although Coleman’s were the point of contact for dealing with issues, the landlord had the final say. In my six months iv had no heating, mould problems due to plumbing issues in the above flat, faulty electrics, noise pollution from neighbours, no security for the front or back door to the building.. it went on and on. Issues that were not present at the time of viewing. Unfortunately for Coleman’s this has meant that I have done nothing but ring and moan and email continuously to get these issues resolved and until they had permission from the land lord nothing could be done. I have now finished my contract and still half the issues haven’t been resolved. Shocking and quite disgusting that a landlord can get away with such things!! The reason behind giving Coleman’s 4 star is because the process of getting in and out was made easy, they have stayed in contact continuously although I imagine they have been thinking oh great he’s ringing again, what this time? My point being that they have done what they are meant to do and stayed professional through every complaint I have made which doesn’t make their job any easier. So I can’t fault the company for doing there best between the ongoing fight between tennants and landlords. My one piece of advice would be to *bleep* the landlord off and all his property’s as he should not be allowed to get away with treating people the way he has and I hope future residents don’t receive the same troubles I have.
