Fantastic services, staff gave us a warm welcome and were very attentive throughout the evening topping up our drinks and ensuring we were happy. Really nice restaurant serving fine dishes well cooked and well presented. You can choose from taster menu or a la carte. Good selection of wines and sommelier was helpful in guiding you to pair the right wine to the plate. Location is also stunning, I have booked night service and unfortunately couldn't see the sea, but next time will try the lunch service or in summer. Definitely going back.

I didn't know they have just got Michelin 2018. I just decide to have lunch there because it's on my way. But it's big surprise when I saw the Michelin star at door. I think wow.. It's so good. And yes, they have supper awesome dishes. Just only one problem that is my stomach is not big enough to try all their menu. I must back one more time to take more dishes in their menu. I never rate any place or restaurant 5 stars. And this is the first one. Food very good, staff very good, view very good. Really really worth for every penny you spend in this restaurant

Lovely setting and of course the food is delicious. Service is outstanding, such good rapport with customers. Had a great time but we both felt it was overpriced. Don't get me wrong, if I'm getting a unique experience im happy to pay top dollar, but for a starter and main with two glasses of wine each came to £105 (excluding tip). We felt it was excessive.

Fantastic restaurant one of the best in Wales with very friendly staff and food to suite all diets. I had the most amazing crispy fried oyster with miso mayo, a chicken and jerusalem artichoke dish and hogget cooked three ways. Although it must be said that the fish dishes look spectacular.

Nothing but a glowing review for the Coast. From the moment we walked in the door to the moment we left we were made to be feel comfortable and well looked after. Fantastic food so you get what you pay for. Would love to come again

Very nice restaurant with a very nice surroundings. We visited for our 1 year wedding anniversary meal in July 2022 and decided to have an "all out" fancy meal, because why not. First off, Food; We had the 7 course a-la-carte (was given a free course too so we had 8 courses in total) The food was very well presented, delicious and the waitress was very informative and knew the plates very well. My suggestion would be don't bother with the other option, just go for the 7 course, it's an extra £14 a head for I believe an extra 4 courses if I remember rightly? It's a no brainer. Drinks: They have an extensive wine menu, but we don't drink wine, so we cannot comment on whether the prices or options are any good, however we did drink a cocktail each which was very nice and I had a (local?) beer, we was given water for free too. The cocktails were nice BUT, and my only real gripe about the place which is why it only gets 4/5 instead of 5/5, there's not mamy options, what they have doesn't look "fancy" and are overpriced for what you have. £15 for a basic looking cocktail is something I can frown upon very much, they either need to increase the volume of the drink (at least double the size without adding ice) or just you know...make them more reasonably priced, knock a fiver off them guys if you're serving them like that! Being next to a beach as well, you'd think they'd like to have people coming up for a quick drink outside but at them prices I csnt imagine they get many repeat visitors for a quick drink after the beach. Grounds: The place is beautiful and unique in design, very aesthetically pleasing. Service: From the moment we walked in to the moment we left we felt very well looked after and attended to, the staff were helpful and knowledgeable. There was a table nearby why decided they would moan about the wait in-between food but honestly they were probably just people who like to moan or didn't like each others company. This is a place to relax with your loved one and take your time. We was there for I believe 2 hours - when you include tine before the first plate, drinks ordering etc that's really a nice reasonable time for 7 courses. Overall: Very beautiful place, Lovely staff, amazing food, drinks overpriced (were spending a lot here give us some respite guys!) Would HIGHLY recommend for a fancy pants nice for a special occasion, but for the love of all things humane, lower the cocktail prices.

We went for lunch while visiting the Tenby area and absolutely loved it. Great location, right by the beach, with idyllic views over Saundersfoot Bay. We opted for the tasting menu and my partner had pairing wines. All dishes were delicious, but my favourite was the fish one (brill, coastal vegetables & shrimp), perfect combination of ingredients and packed full of flavour. Dessert (chocolate, rose & thyme) was amazing too. Must add that Thai basil, cucumber & lime was a great palate cleanser, fragrant and refreshing. Nice atmosphere and good service. Definitely recommend this place and we will come back if in the area again.

Pros: Lovely environment to eat in. Incredible views. Staff were really friendly. Cons: Very limited menu - if you don't opt for the tasting menu you have a choice of two things for each course. Food was fine but not amazing. Expensive and very small portions. We spent c. £250 for four of us on lunch and went home hungry. Other Michelin star restaurants manage to get the balance right, this just didn't hit the mark and left us disappointed..

We were so lucky to get a reservation at Coast for lunch, and what a super lunch we had. From the initial welcome to the last goodbye, service was impeccable, really friendly and unobtrusive. We treated ourselves to the Six course tasting menu and accompanying wine flight, and my goodness we weren’t at all disappointed in any part of this experience. All the courses were wonderful, superbly cooked, full of flavour and presented with flair. Special attention had been paid to an allergy, and instead of just being offered an alternative verbally (often as an afterthought in some restaurants) I was given a printed menu that had been tailored to my needs. Well done to the Head Chef and his team. Special mention must go the Sommelier and the wines selected for the wine flight - they were superb and he had clearly put much thought into the pairings. Bravo! I highly, highly recommend Coast.

We almost didn't come. Reading some poor reviews and a previous poor meal at a sister restaurant in the Pembrokeshire area had put us off... But we finally tried this beautiful restaurant and WOW, Just WOW. What an excellent meal! The service was impeccable from start to finish and I knew this was going to be a fantastic dining experience when we were presented with the amazing cauliflower mousse amuse bouche in light pastry with onion gel on the top. It was so moreish I wished I could take home a whole box full. We then had the today's and yesterday's bread in a beef dripping jus. Delicious. The next, and my personal favourite course, was lightly poached salmon with pickled cucumber and oyster. It was so light and so tasty. Then we had pork belly. The only thing I would say is that the pork fat didn't appear rendered enough to us, so visually it didn't "look" perfect (to us), but the taste was gorgeous. The next course was a melt in the mouth, hearty beef short rib in a rich sauce. Another favourite for us. Then the pre dessert. An amazing basil cucumber lime mousse/ice cream magic concoction. A perfect palate cleanser and also one of the most gorgeous things I've ever tasted. Then dessert. A rich chocolate mousse with Thyme infused ice cream and jelly. It's clear so much hard work and thought went into these dishes that I cannot do them justice by trying to describe them here. Suffice to say this meal was "up there" with one of our top meals ever had and we will definitely return. One issue however, was that the acoustics in the restaurant are poor. We could barely hear each other speak at the same table even though the restaurant was only half full, due to the general, normal noise from other diners, and it was even hard to hear the descriptions of the beautiful courses provided by the delivering staff for the same reasons. However this did not impact on a gorgeous meal enjoyed by all. Thank you very much.

Exceptional food but you pay for it. Only reason for a loss of a star is the price, £200 for three of us. Food was flawless, staff were brilliant, and I presume the views would have been incredible had it not been dark! Worth noting the fennel and honey bread with caramelized butter with squid ink sea salt, I would happily eat this for days. Also worth mentioning that the staff and service was among the best I've ever had. Overall a great experience and we'll worth a visit but be prepared to pay for what you're getting.

November 2024 Im back .. first time Ive sampled the new menu from previously being Coast. The food was on point, lovely Welsh rarebit with Ham hock to start along with bread and stuffing butter which was lovely. The mains of falafel burger with a side of very tasty red cabbage and Tenderstem was stunning. I had the 12oz ribeye which was a lovely cut and cooked to perfection. The side of chips were well seasoned and plenty of them. The deserts of plum crumble and sticky toffee with mango sorbet was different in taste but complemented each other perfectly. The wines were stunning, albeit a little pricey but part of the experience, I'd like to have seen more French wines but on the whole a good selection, although the wine description needs a little work.. I.e. full bodied aromatic, fruity doesn't distinguish where it's sweet, medium or dry which I'd personally like to see in the description to help identify the body of the wine. Can't wait to go back and sample the next options available. We're going to the Grove in 2 weeks so look forward to that. Diolch 👌🏼 2023 So back again for another visit and in fairness it didnt disappoint the food in the 7 course tasting menu was fabulous, so many different tates and in some cases experiences that id never had before. My only issue that was noticable this time was the lack of attentive staff. Normally when the wine or water needs topping the staff were always on hand to top up as required whilst doing the rounds.. unfortunately this didnt happen on any occasion so for me the service wasnt as good or on point as it used to be. 2021 As always fantastic food and service from the coast team. Always look forward to an evening of being spoilt and these guys always deliver. Fresh food, fantastic tastes especially when having the tasting menu. Not 100% on the thyme icecream though !! See you all again very soon......

We decided to visit Coast to celebrate a special birthday. We decided to try the tasting menu after seeing the excellent reviews without realising the Chef has recently changed. The first course (Today and Yesterday's bread) was really not special and the bread served felt oversaturated with an onion jus. The second course was broccoli with kelp/garlic/lemon. The dish itself was simple but not particularly memorable or special. Third was mussel and brill which was reasonably flavoursome and tasty. The fourth was the highlight of the tasting menu with perfectly cooked short rib and kohlrabi. To finish was a nice chocolate mousse with an odd thyme ice cream which I did not particularly enjoy. The male waiter was excellent and hospitable but overall service from the team as a whole did not make the experience feel special. It is disappointing that the overall quality of the food and the experience just did not justify the £140 bill.

I'm giving this 5 stars because the staff interaction was just right. And the food was excellent. It is however on the small side. I've eaten all over so I expected no massive portions, however the starter and desert could just get away with size. The main really needed to be a little bigger. It could of been a bit warmer to. I never manage 3 courses here I had the 3 and then cheese. left satisfied. But just. Would I go again ? Yes if it was suggested, probably wouldn't go out of my way. This was a lunch menu for 5 people it was just shy of £400 with mostly a single drink each and tap water. The comments about the bread are founded it's very ordinary, the Chef could try harder if he wants to compete with the Beachouse. The whole experience is pleasant, but the portion size can make it feel a bit pretentious.

Great location and finally good food and service! We have been in Coast since its opening but it has been quite poor service and food. Clearly they got a new chef 2 years ago and now both food and service are fantastic. It is not cheap nor large portion (full course can be a 60 per person with some wines) . But a very satisfying experiece for us. The view from restaurant is amazing (it stands almost at front of the beach) and if you prefer cheaper meal you can try lunch course (a 30 pounds exc drink) you may sit on the deck watching the ocean if Welsh weather allows you. Service was nice and we spent a happy time! Oh, btw it located slightly away from Saundersfoot beach. You can walk but maybe quicker to get a taxi if you prefer. If you drive, the large parking lot is next to the restaurant.

Not sure if this restaurant is Mitchelin starred or not. If it isn't, it should be. Look, if your idea of the perfect meal is steak and a bucketful of chips, then it probably isn't for you. If however you are looking for a gastronomic experience, prepare to have your tastebuds and mind blown. I really cannot talk it up enough. Ok, it's not cheap. Prepare to pay between 50 to 100% more than other restaurants but they really do deliver in spades. Service matches the standard of the food with the staff being very attentive and professional. Perfect dining experience.

My wife suffers from gluten intolerance and this was catered for most excellently. Although it was a reasonably quiet Wednesday evening, the service was spot on, friendly without being overwhelming. The staff were very attentive and the sommelier was fantastic. The complimentary taster, which was carrot soup was delicous. The starters were good but the main course was a real let down. I ordered the Turbot. The samphire was very good and the foam was the best part of the mains. The potatoe was cold and the Turbot was just ok. My husbands steak was ordinary and with quite a lot of sinew. We ordered starters instead of sweet puddings. My husband enjoyed his scollops first time round but this was not as good when ordered again. My Goats Cheese Tart was amazing. For a Michelin star resurant I found it very disappointing. If it wasnt for the excellent staff I would have left early.
