This is the place to go for fish and chips if you're visiting Aberystwyth, right on the seafront and great value for money. Must admit that the chips on my second visit weren't as good, they were quite dry and crispy, I think we must have just been unlucky and got the scraps before fresh ones were cooked. Still, the fish was extremely fresh, hot and salted just to my liking, couldn't complain there. Nice big portions of curry sauce too. Would definitely come here again in the future.

Service needs a look ....when you order food for a family of four you don't expect to be juggling that food because it hasn't been packed and you certainly don't expect to pack it yourself when you ask for a carrier bag to put it in! On the plus side the Fish and Chips were delicious with a not too crisp batter and Golden chips. Come on get your act together ... and make it 5 star.

We really enjoyed our Fish & Chips on the Seafront last summer. The staff messed up the order, however, were quick to rectify it. The chips were really lovely & the fish too! However, there wasn’t much fish but rather more batter. But this didn’t disappoint. I’m certain the beautiful weather helped too… we even caught the sun!

Delicious Chips, seems to taste so much better at the seaside. Served in a cardboard box. The customary Salt and Vinegar sprinkled over a decent amount of Chips. The only chips I've eaten in Aberystwyth, so I can't compare them to other chip shops, but they were definitely tasty and worth every single penny. Highly Recommended.

Been here many times when in Aber. But this time, the chips were rather disappointing. Even though the place wasn't massively busy for the time of day, we had the usual and acceptable wait times - and is usually well worth the wait, but this time around, the chips were very dry and appeared to be from the scraps at the bottom of the batch as apposed to their usual high standard.

The fish and chips are just great here. However, the wait is a little too much even with a few people there. The fish is very good and their chips are just amaizng. However, I gave them only 4 stars because I asked for slat and vinegar but it was a little too salty. If they had used less salt it would have been better. Also some chips were super slaty while others weren't very salty.

Our third year for visiting Aberystwyth and our must go to place for fish and chips by the sea, staff always pleasant and very helpful. Food is always cooked to order and lovely and hot, see you next time we are in the area.

Quite small, so be prepared to queue. However, everything appears to be prepared fresh as you order. The mini fish and chips were perfect. Portioning is big, but not as huge (so you don't end up wasting much) as most places I've been. Would definitely visit again.

Popped in here on a first time visit to Aberystwyth. We wanted fish, but only sharing a chips. The young chap who served us, gave us a Box each with our own fish and divided the chips for us. The only reason it doesnt get 5 stars in my opinion is due to the buildings access it a bit tight and tucked away, the waiting times are a bit longer than id like and this impacts the way the orders are called when theyre ready; which sometimes can be difficult to hear. This is me being picky as you can see by the 4 star review these listed critiques of mine are not very big

Lovely chips and sausage. Not many chips for your money although it was a big box! You must put a big sign outside that says please wait here to be called in. I was told to get out and wait to be called in, even though the shop was empty, a little off putting but I'm sure they meant well.

Great chips my hubby loves them. I don't eat chips but I do like the cod roe and pickled eggs. Great to pop into for a feast then sit on the seafront to eat. Don't feed the gulls though they can get very nasty. If you feed any pigeons then expect the gulls to turn up to.

Lovely fish and chips takeaway outlet selling lovely fish and chips. They're served in a box (clue in the shop name) rather than the traditional paper and is much better for it. Grab a box and make yourself comfy along the front to enjoy your meal.
