Very torn on my review. Food was excellent and couldn't fault it however everything else was such a let down. Staff (or lack of) is extremely slow with not a care in the world for any sort of customer service. Plus the place is filthy dirty. Dust absolutely everywhere!! Dead flys in the window. Plates which were on the table had dust on. Bathroom is thick of dust. Soap and blue roll on the sink instead of refilling the dispenser attached to the wall. Also toilet has wires sticking out the wall which is a major hazard!! Waitress was in a rush to take our order but food took overly long to arrive. No check backs to see if we needed anything else or just curtesy to check if we were happy. They have obviously spent a lot of money on the place but should invest in a cleaner and some staff training instead. Such a shame.

Takeaway service wasn't the fastest but it was more than worth the wait. Delicious chicken shish, lovely crunchy fresh salad and a really good chilli sauce. Perfect for a healthier takeaway when you can't (or don't want to) cook

Food/service/staff are all top level.. the restaurant is beautiful and the upstairs area has a fantastic twist to it. I highly recommend eating here, prices are good, food portions are perfect (I'm a big eater) and the drinks are well varied. To be noted, at current they only accept cash so do come with some otherwise there is a cash machine either 200 yards to the left or just next door with the post office outlet. Saves anyone who reads this not going prepared. Enjoy!!

The food was pretty good but the man serving me told me that it was £1 more than what the menu stated. I pointed this out to him and he seemed to concede the point. He then gave me £1 less change then I was due. I think he was hoping that I would ignore the fact that I was being over charged. I didn't. Frustrating and bad business.

We haven’t eaten in the restaurant but have had a couple of takeaways delivered - the food is gorgeous, fresh and always piping hot. The pizzas are amazing! We ordered last night and the order arrived within 35 minutes and the order was spot on and so tasty. I will look forward to trying the restaurant atmosphere sometime soon

First time I've visited here whilst visiting the in-laws. The lamb kebabs were delicious and the chicken pizza on the lunch menu was very filling and tasty. Thoroughly recommend it. My first time trying Turkish food and I would return back if I'm in the area again.

The food is fantastic, if you're not in the mood for pizza or a kebab, go for the 8oz Angus Burger. It's thick, juicy and very filling. The fries you get with it are sufficient enough to fill you up, but push the boat out and get the cheesy garlic mushroom chips. They're absolutely amazing.

My daughter booked a small table for her, and her friends for her 16th birthday, but were turned away due to having no-one over 18 with them, and it being a Saturday (5pm). Instead they were offered take out, with buy one get one free pizzas, and had to come home to eat. The food was as good as always, and the deal was amazing, it's just a shame she didn't get to celebrate how she had planned. I suggest maybe the website be updated, to state you have to be acompanied by an adult over 18 to dine in the restaurant. This may help avoid any future customer disappointment or confusion. (5* as the food was amazing, and offered at discount in compensation).

The food was excellent and we overall had a really great time. Arguably the best Turkish food we've had in England! One little thing worth mentioning is that we noticed the table service was divided with different girls set up to take drink service and food service. We found that rather strange and probably why the service takes longer than usual. I'd much rather prefer having one person perform the full table service, but that's just my view after working in hospitality myself. We do recommend eating there as the food was delicious!

Turkish food amazing. Real tastes from a chef that needs applause. Only problem was wine was not freezing, we moved away from the house & usual wine & ordered a Çankaya & they bought ice & a bucket. With hindsight I should have sent it back. Ask before you order is my tip. Also, now this is weird - I asked for bread to be available from starters to mains - had to remind them about bread at start & it arrived like Turkish flat bread that had been grilled, almost like chips/crisps. These two issues dissipated when the mains arrived. Wonderful food. I should have been more direct & questioned when I ordered. We were the first customer of the evening shift, we arrived early, Covid procedures seem to take priority in sitting us down because it can be frustrating to get customers to comply & not interfere with their hope for a happy evening. I will go back & continue ordering best Takeaway in Barrow.

The food is beautiful! The new extension is amazing, definitely the place to sit! The cocktails are lovely and the staff very helpful when deciding what you want from the menu. We had the sharing meat platter and the lamb just melted in your mouth, I'm hungry now!!!

The food here is usually good, apart from the pizzas which I don't like much as it tasted a little stale. We ordered from Barrow Eats and the food came promptly and it was warm. The homemade burger is advertised as having tortilla chips on it, when it arrived it did not have any on it. We called to ask why, as this was actually the main reason I ordered that burger. Their response was that they know it is advertised as having tortilla chips, but it actually doesn't. I think that is a little unacceptable and that they should change their advertisement. I was very disappointed when I realised that this wasn't the burger I had ordered. I know it is a small issue but it is courteous to inform the customer that they will receive different to what they are ordering. We will be back again, I just feel that this let's down.

I Had mixed shish on the dinner time special. It's the first time I have tried traditional Turkish food. It was absolutely beautiful with plenty to eat for £9.90. The staff are very polite and make you more than welcome. Highly recommended you will not be disappointed. Definitely going again

Absolutely fantastic family run Turkish restaurant. There is definitely something for everyone, even my 83 year old father was raving about our takeaway meal! The mixed shared platter with warm and cold starters was to die for! Finally a decent restaurant that's serving fresh tasty food in Barrow-in-Furness! We are looking forward to dining in next time and looks like our search for our favourite restaurant is over.

Good food and the staff are very hospitable. However, the food choices for Coeliacs and gluten free is limited. There are no alternatives, they just remove what you can't have, but you still pay full price. If they can work on this, it would be a 5* rating from me, as what they do serve is lovely.

Unfortunately the food and was that tasty I forgot to take any photos. Fresh, delicious and authentic. Will not hesitate to go back. We ordered the halloumi starter and vine leaves starter to share between 2 adults, I described it as "eating a holiday" remembering our holidays pre-parenthood. For mains we got lamb and chicken shish and the kapadokya grill, both served with rice, salad and bread ordering a side of fries between us. All in all with 2 g&t and 2 larger came to just over £50. A lovely little gem hidden at the top of the main shopping street in our home town

real person, real review. my mam has been going on about kapadokya for AGES. she (any many of her friends) love it, so much so that they had to hide its existence from her friend's son, who would do nothing but order from here were he to know of it (which unfortunately is exactly what happened when he discovered Kapadokya). came home from university last night, and to celebrate being home, we ordered from here. I ordered the Popeye Kick pizza (i think is the name) and had my HEAD BLOWN OFF and my TONGUE ON FIRE and my HEART EXPLODED. it looked, smelt, felt, and tasted, incredible. i was blown away just by opening the box. truly wish there was a Kapadokya where i currently live. to conclude: dont hesitate buying from here. youll be in love. wait time was short, food was delivered in pristine quality, and the pizza is to die for. genuinely would have this for my last meal on death row. you would too.
