No doubt the best Indian in Bedford, they have continued to provide great food and great service for over 30 years! Credit to Ray and Faye for running this place, all the waiters are very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is great inside , lovely booths and decor. Whether you choose a chicken dish or a lamb dish, the chefs here are brilliant and make very tasty dishes, the bhunas and Rogan Josh are my personal favourites from here. Credit to all at Grand, I am a regular here, 5 stars!

We had a lovely experience this evening and even tho it had been a few years since I was last here, it was still as good as I remember it being. The service I can’t fault and the food never disappoints. One of the best in Bedford! Thank you 😁

Starters came with more dips than I would normally see. Good meal for 2 enough for 3, we had 2 mains with a veggy dish and 2 naan breads, good service very helpful waiter helped us with the level of spice we required. If i could make a suggestion maybe a slight increase on the rice to match the mains. I still had to use a doggy bag for the rest. Good overall and I would return.

I, and now my family have used this restaurant for over 30 years. Firstly, the staff are amazing, such welcome to regulars and new customers alike. The food is consistently excellent and the atmosphere is always so good. We have continued to support this most excellent local business using their efficient delivery service during this continuing hard time, and as tradition dictates, our family new year's Day Grand Indian evening dinner was still fulfilled for 2022 and we had such a great experience as ever. Happy new year to all the staff at Grand India.

Incredible. Has been my favourite restaurant for years. Incredible atmosphere and the food is a whole other story. It's delicious, sometimes my mouth genuinely waters when I think of it! The staff are amazing, and if you go there more than once the waiters will get to know you and always try to strike up a conversation and they are most definitely friendly. I love this restaurant so much - cannot recommend highly enough!

Best Indian in town, well for me anyway as they cook some delicious food and adjust it in anyway you like. The service is spot on, they have a good laugh with you as well as trying to serve people and get the takeaways out on time. I've been in twice since lockdown has eased a bit, they have it running nice with not too many people in so keeping your distance is fine if that's what your looking for. Excellent team working here and so friendly to you, one of my favourites and always will be as they've known my family for over 30 years.

Having booked a table for four, we found the welcome warm and friendly. The food was delicious and the entire experience was incredibly, great value for money. There is a multi storey car park at the back, but parking on the main road is a little competitive. The house wine was delicious and truly complimented the meal. All in all, if looking to enjoy a curry in the town, stop scrolling and head here.

One of the best in town. I have eaten at this restaurant and had takeaways from here for the past 25 years - usually once a month - the food is delicious and the staff are fantastic! Enjoy your evening, it will be lovely.

Been eating here with family, friends and colleagues since the early 1980s, and have never once had a meal that was less than very good. The celebratory meal we had last week was truly outstanding and good value - twenty-five quid a head for three courses with all the trimmings and three rounds of drinks . The fish platter was just excellent. You can eat well here for less than a tenner, too. Very pleasant modern interior now, cheerful service and lovely food. About to order a takeaway tonight! Recommended that you check this out

This place does proper, authentic Indian food and more. I had a curry with brandy a light when served to me! All my mates had a great curry. We also got a complimentary drink and a little birthday cake. Very hospitable and the delivery I have had since was super!

This is one of the rare restaurants where we have never had a less-than-perfect meal. Should have posted this review years ago!

I used to eat here years ago but along came the kids and its been quite a few years, I've had takeaways from other places but they never matched my memories of grand Indian, it was lovely to be able to go this evening and find the same smiling friendly face who remembered me straight away after all this time and the food was as great as it was 10 years ago!! I am very particular about the Indian Restaurants that I eat at. I would say that the Grand comes under the category of an old school Indian restaurant. It's not fancy, the menu is not extensive like some but has all your favourites. The food was tasty, and the price could also be described as old school to. I will be eating here again.
