This is our go-to for take away food! Always great quality and delicious! Pre-order is definitely recommended otherwise you could wait fir 30+ minutes. They do online ordering as well now!! Oddly, we have never been into the restaurant, but it always busy- especially weekends!

I've been using Lounge India ever since they opened, years ago. The food is tasty and not swimming in oil. The prices are average for this area and the guys are courteous.

First time eating here, we got a take away. Food was hot and the taste was amazing. Started with poppadoms and chutney tray and the favour from the dip were so good I amazed and couldn't wait to get to my mains which also was just as good. Found our new Indian restaurant. Ordered online direct for delivery,earliest time was 6.45pm,on the 'special instruction' space I asked for delivery asap. My order arrived at 5.55pm and was so pleased as my elderly parents prefer to eat early. Food was hot,fresh and very tasty!

Delicious food, freshly cooked to order. Onion Bhajis were superb - light as a feather, 5 stars for them. All the main courses were great too: tandoori fish, vegetable jalfrezi, vegetable korma and a very spicy prawn dish. Minus 1 star as we waited almost an hour between starters and mains. Service was nice enough but a bit haphazard.

Went there for my 18th birthday, Not only were the staff extremely nice, they even offered us not one but two bottles of free wine. Food was first class and was very tasty! Very fast and kind service, will definitely be returning there soon! The price for 7 people was also very low and we had plenty of different food on the table. Very pleased birthday girl!

Had a Christmas party here and they catered for us really well. The food is of much higher quality than most other Indian restaurants I've visited in the area. The staff are very friendly and up for a laugh. Nice atmosphere, plenty of parking and nice decor.

I am a curry lover and have been to numerous establishments around Bedfordshire. Last night I visited ‘Lounge India’ and the food did not taste of just curry as a lot of places it does, the herbs and spices and the blends were ‘exceptional’. The staffs were attentive and happy to be serving. I would high recommend.

The service was good, bordering on excellent, food was excellent although I felt the menu understated the heat of the dishes somewhat. There was an interesting range of dishes with some unusual ones in addition to the usual suspects. All in all a pleasant experience.

Was honestly expecting a pretty standard dinner but it was far from it; I cannot fault a single thing! The chicken chaat and puree, lamb jalfrezi and especially the lamb shatkari were so delicious! Usually the special dishes for me are over described but in the shatkari they stuck to their word; it was a rich, fragrant curry with little caramelised bits of lemon in it. Would have it again and again. Sides were also lovely. We had peshwari naan, keema rice, saag paneer and bombay aloo. The ambience in the restaurant was nice and comfortable. The only thing I would perhaps fault is the staff. Following this visit, I was unhappy when my partner and I were asked to put my leftovers into containers ourselves as it was a bit of a mood killer if I'm being honest! The staff took a very long time to serve us for each course and at the end of the meal, I had to get their attention on the way out of the restaurant in order to pay the bill. I would have ordered dessert if I could actually get their attention; I figured I may as well go to the co-op instead. The staff were very uninterested and at some points more focused on taking telephone orders than actually sitting people down. I witnessed a man with his pregnant partner who were told to wait to be seated, even though there were tables available. Customer service certainly needs improvement.

I have been a regular visitor here sometimes several times a month for over siz years. Never had a bad meal. The banquet meal on Wednsdays is excellent value for money but also makes it very busy too. Go before 7 or book in advance.

Lounge India is our go to Indian even after moving out of Marston - Their chutney tray is one of the best I've had, they have cobra on draught which is a nice touch and the food never disappoints.
