Had such a lovely meal yesterday. 2 of us had the brunch menu, delicious. The rest of us had the brassiere menu, also delicious. Every time I have visited have alway had a really lovely meal with everything cooked to perfection. We sat in the bar area which is just as nice as the restaurant area. Good social distance tables, lovely waitresses and would definitely return. Would recommend this place and compliments to the chef. Five stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

6 of us had Sunday lunch today and it was perfect. Very generous portions, great selection of veg and meat cooked to perfection. The service was excellent and very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend. We will be back soon.

Everything was fine. Food very good. Service was unsmiley. Felt like being served by a Sargent in the army. The only smile came when we paid the bill. It was efficient, but not friendly. I would certainly visit again though, for the food!

I ate there yesterday for a roast dinner and honestly it was perfect. I was visiting my Mum and her partner, so had traveled more than two hours to get there from Brighton. It was worth it. The meal was hot, well cooked and the portion size was spot on. The service was excellent, attentive and very responsive. One person in particular had such a warm smile. We were made to feel very welcome and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. Awesome experience from beginning to end. One of the best roast dinners I have tasted out in the last five years. Go if you get a chance.

Popped in halfway on a local walk for a snack and drink. Strangely for a pub, there were no snacks/sandwiches/jacket potatoes on offer. It was suggested that we maybe go for one of the 'nibbles', or the open chicken sandwich at £11. Well glancing at what was on offer, the majority would appear to be from the freezer to the frier kind of fare. Well, perhaps some soup or pate, that would be great! A glance back at the menu and no, no soup or pate. I noted that the main menu is headed as the Brasserie Menu. I only saw two items out of the eleven, that you might call, in the French style. There was nothing on the menu to denote that anything such as the deserts, nibbles or even the chips were homemade. And for my money, charging £14 for frozen scampi, frozen chips and frozen peas, just ain't value for money. What a shame that this lovely pub seems to be missing out on a lot of potential custom, by the limiting factor of the menu. With it now being school holidays, I would have expected the pub to be buzzing with customers. It was pretty quiet, there weren't even any customers in the large garden. I hope my comments will be seen as constructive and not as a complaint. There is real potential here.

I held my son’s 21st Birthday Party for 100 friends and family here at end of January 2020. The hot food served was delicious and the service throughout the evening was top notch. Nothing was too much trouble. Staff are very friendly and efficient. Thank you very much to Nathan and his staff for helping to make our evening a wonderful success. Highly recommended.

The White Hart in Flitton. I was very impressed by the social distancing of tables and other patrons visiting the public house. We met friends of ours from Derbyshire in the White Hart as we live in Essex. I couldn't remark on the starters, none of us had any. The main dishes of food were fresh and tasty. Portion sizes were good. Deserts were very nice. The staff were helpful and pleasant.

My friend and I went to the white hart pub after visiting Wrest Park, I was very impressed with the pub it was beautifully decorated and the staff and the landlord were so welcoming and friendly, the food was out of this world the best pub grub I have ever had. I have a chicken open sandwich with sweet potato chips followed by lemon drissel cake. It was wonderful all of it, the whole experience. Would thoroughly recommend a visit

We come here often and it never fails to please. The warm welcome and good service are only second to the excellent food. The menu is small enough to assure fresh food but not be limited for choice - make sure you leave room for the puddings. Many are discovering this gem, so best to book.

Nice pub for a drink. Not so sure about a meal! We paid carvery prices for an OK roast meal. It did not include all the trimmings. The service was responsive but not overly friendly. There was one vegetarian option on the menu. An the 'nut cutlets' seemed a lot like veggie burgers from Tescos!

Beautiful old village pub. We sat out in the large garden and had a fantastic meal. You can tell the owners put a lot of effort into the quality of the food served, stunning. Will definitely return!

A great rural location for a typical country pub. Big car park openonto outdoor tables and chairs. There is a good size marquee which suggests carering for events. The main entrance was by several steps and not easy for disabled, wheelchair access is likely through the marquee and patio doors but we didn't prove this. The menu was very good with options for vegetarians and gluten free diets. Our group of seven had both requirements and easily found dishes to order. Our server also was able to convey some mix and match selections to the chef with no problems giving perfect personal favourites of veg etc. Great all-round service and reasonable prices, a perfect evening out.

I booked the White Hart Function Room Flitton Greenfield for my 40th Birthday celebrations.. I had a very specific vision in mind regards the type of event that I required, from the food to the music, decoration and so much more… From my first point of contact with the owner Nathan, through to the execution of the event, everything was perfect and nothing was too much trouble, I mostly contacted Nathan via email with any queries that I had or changes that I needed to make, each email was answered within 30 minutes or less which I found to make organisation of the event so much easier, especially as I was making changes up until 1 day before my event. On the day of the event, Nathan met me at the venue in the morning as pre-arranged, the Marquee looked great and was ready from my suppliers to set items up and decorate… On the evening of my event, I arrived a little earlier and was given a very warm welcome by Nathan, his partner and his staff, They were all highly professional and very friendly, I instantly relaxed and knew that my 40th birthday was going to be a wonderful evening and it really was. I would go as far to say that it really was one of the best evenings of my life. I chose the winter warmer buffet and it was simply divine, the food was replenished throughout the evening and again nothing was too much trouble… Everyone of my guests complimented the venue and food, they were so impressed 😊 I honestly could not have asked for anymore, Nathan and his staff exceeded all my expectations and produced an amazing 40th birthday, I would certainly book an event at the White Hart again.
