I was in again today with my partner and child and I have to say the staff were absolutely amazing, the food was second to none. We had originally picked somewhere else in the city centre to eat, but sadly had to leave (nothing was up to scratch in the other place that we were going to eat in) and couldn’t think where to go, as we were having a family meal out. Then we remembered about Brights and from the moment we sat down we just wondered why we hadn’t gone to Brights in the first place.
My partner got an all day fry and I got the steak, out little boy got sausages, rice and gravy (weird, I know).
Delighted!
K.The place was recommended to us by a local gentleman. We visited twice for breakfast during our stay in Belfast. We had a fantastic breakfast. Staff was very nice, polite and professional. Place was very clean (no sticky tables) and tidy. Someday we will be back! 😍

Their menu is slightly outdated but why fix what isn't broken?
K. M.One of the best breakfasts I've ever had. The place has a funky American diner atmosphere and very friendly staff. We went on a Saturday in peak time so there was a bit of a queue but it seemed to move fast and we got seated in 10-15 mins. Very good breakfast options to choose from and all (that I've tried) just delicious with portions that would feed anyone. If I had to pick on something I would say the chips (fries) were a bit pale and could have spent an extra minute or two in the fryer. If I'm ever in Belfast I would definitely go back.

M. L. T.Bright's has a great selection of food choices. If you fancy a sandwich, toastie or baked potato then there are plenty of options. You can also choose an all day breakfast or if you're very hungry there are larger food options like chicken curry, pie with chips etc. The service is good and the staff are helpful and friendly. It's a tad pricey costing just shy of £20 for lunch for two.

S.Eating out as a solo parent with three little ones is never easy, but the staff were all kind, attentive and so helpful, even during a busy lunchtime... and busy it always is, with a queue out of the door for good reason, customers knowing they are in for good honest food and good service. The kids ordered a kids pizza each, but could easily have shared, they are enormous, so they took it home and ate it later, saying it was just as delicious then. It's a great cafe for an omelette or a fry and a cuppa. Thanks for taking care of us, we'll be back :)

B. B.It's a fish & chip restaurant that offers a lot more. An extensive and varied menu, which helped ensure the restaurant was packed with all ages.
The potions are a good size but not too big that you feel overfilled. The food wasn't greasy at all, indeed it was very tasty. Possibly a little bit on the expensive side for a chip shop but there were loads of meal deals that could have been considered as well. Worth a visit.

R. M.I've been going to Brights for over 20 years now. They have the best chips in the city centre. They have a very wide menu now too. Unfortunately their increased menu and move a few years ago have also massive increased their prices. If it wasn't quite so expensive would have been 5 stars. That said I keep going back!

One of the bigger portions I've had in Ireland and for a very decent price. I got the Yankee and the waffle alone is worth it!
c. f.Absolutely loved this place. I have walked by it many times and thought about going in. I must say the place isn't the cheapest but it's probably the best quality you can find for the actual sitting in, staff and food quality. Me and my partner entered and were quickly grated and lead to a booth. We did see family's in booths but they are more sized for two and we aren't big people. You could probably fit four into them if your not a big build. We arrived at around five to twelve and breakfast cuts off at twelve which I must say is a shame as the food on that section sounds delicious and they don't seam to do all day frys, however being five to twelve we were lucky to order two frys which amazing came very quick and the bacon was well cooked. The food was delicious and well made, we didn't need to send anything back. Sadly I wasn't allowed to see the bill as my partner bought us it but the menu did look rather pricey compared to places in the area such as Blinkers. However when going back today we decided to go to Blinkers instead due to them having no tables left and there was people in front of us, which we knew from yesterday that they seam to do really well. The place was quickly filled after we had been seated yesterday and they do take out but as it was bad weather today we decided against it.

t.A large restaurant well established in Belfast city centre. Always busy, sometimes there will be a short wait for a table. Huge menu but all food looks good and the fish and chips are superb. A good quality chippy in a handy location, although chippy is somewhat an unfair description given the variety on the menu.
A. N.Had cod supper, great juicy fish and tasty chunky chips. They dont do mushy peas but the coleslaw was damn good! I almost wanted to take some home. Toilets werent the best, only one toilet for both genders plus a disabled one. Booths and chairs available, no parking. Open kitchen so you can see what they do and staff are attentive and friendly. Would definitely go back. They also do delivery.
