A piece of Belfast’s history! Lovely and quiet on a Friday lunchtime with people just chilling by the river. How the other half live! It was a bit of a limited menu but the prawn starter and the cod were lovely all the same. Great pint of Guinness. Service was really good and staff were friendly and chatty. Good seating, toilets clean and fresh. Really enjoyed it.

Delicious turkey dinner, with enough mash and roasties I actually felt full afterwards. Dessert was rich and packed with flavour, and the service was fab as well. Very nice for a family Sunday lunch! Looking at around £13-17 for a main.

The only bar in Belfast to sit on the River Lagan, with lots of outdoor setting. A great list of wine and beers to go with your food or not, they also have a small list of alcohol free drinks. They have a place out the back for private party's as well. Theres a restaurant upstairs,but it's temporarily closed at the moment.

Went here for a bite to eat before a show, as soon as we walked in, it was so warm and inviting, food was nice could do with a better menu, it's just pub grub and think it a bit over priced for what it is, it was a nice and comfortable evening.

Lunch in the sun, sun was out so food and drink by the water edge, outdoor bar area with large screen for sport, Wimbledon was on, conservatory if weather poor, plus large indoor bar and upstairs. Good assortment if wine beers cocktail s daughter said espresso martini excellent. Food bit pricey but tasty, attentive friendly staff. Parking good also. An old favourite never disappoints.

Cutters Wharf, near the Premier Ormeau Road Service Station on 249 Ormeau Rd, is located at Lockview Rd. My wife and I longed for the reopening of the restaurant and we were delighted to see on social media that they were reopening last Friday. We were quick to make a booking and it was certainly worth the wait. The ambiance in the restaurant is superb and the food was excellent. We asked for a table by the window and our request was met. All of the staff were lovely also. We cannot wait to return!

It's okay. I would imagine it being a great spot for a drink but honestly, the food is expensive and kind of tastless (at least what I ordered was). I came here with a small group of my family as I had previously heard reasonable reviews and had been wanting to try it for a while, but it's not much to write home about and my family all felt the same. May try again in the future, but wouldn't rush back.

Excellent service & relaxed atmosphere. Edit - attended the restaurant on the 25th May 2022 for dinner before theatre & I have to say the food was suburb! Staff were very friendly, and professional. However, I had to deduct a star due to the blonde lady's attitude. A smile would not hurt!

Cyclists not welcome. Got ourselves 2 new e bikes and all the way from Comber along the greenway then the river to visit. Pulled up and a doorman [At 3pm] told us no bikes. Now he wasnt rude and it's not his rule but its half way along probably the best cycle route this county has???. Would love to know why it doesn't have facility for bikes. We decided to go on and found a bar where we could sit outside and have a couple of drinks. It's a little thing like that which will put me off ever going back again.

Good location and good service. Mushroom soup, with tarragon, for starters tasted very bland, no mushroom flavour that I could detect. Roast chicken served on mash with veg, very good, ...however, no black pepper ... just white... first restaurant I've been in which does not provide this.. Dessert was very good, sticky toffee with ice cream..

Service is welcoming, friendly and very efficient even when busy. Recently added outdoor bubbles which can be booked. About 8-10 seats with blankets and lights. Would make a fun evening in these darker nights.

My first trip to Belfast I visited here with my girlfriend, now wife, and is just as good over 30years on! Get wonderful views over the river Lagin and the many rowers battling against the water. Food is a mixed assortment but well cooked and presented. Had the Guinness, an early start to the many more I will have over the next 4days here.

Staff very obliging. We sat outside, a table under the umbrella and ate our meal and we had a view of the river however when a table became available in the river terrace a staff member came and escorted our small group to a table there. Most ate a Caesar salad which was very nice, while I had a steak burger which was nice too but not above average. I would try something different next time. A nice venue for a meet up with friends.

Food was great, service was amazing. The only reason its missing a star is that the experience fell slightly short of its brand. I felt like the food here was great, it should have been "Wow". Otherwise grand. But if you're paying that level of money I'd expect the food quality to be slightly better.

Great service. Good food. Was going well until my mate decided to spilt the bill and he told the new server that we were rounding the bill up to £50 (to include a tip) and he was paying £32. I gave her a £20 note. The more astute among you will have worked out that that left £18 to pay. A short time later I spied the young lady saying a cheery bye to some people she knew as she left. So in her mind £50 less £32 is £20. I know it's only £2 but no one likes to feel like they have been diddled. So I knocked off one star.

We go here regularly for lunch. Nice place they do a special soup and special sandwich off the day. My partner and his son loved the chicken burger which is now off the menu, both disappointed with that. The food is OK. Always busy. Great igloos outside with blankets etc would love to try them. They've got a lift if someone has a disability (I do) but it takes a while going up and down. Always clean and tidy. Nice anytime of year to watch people on the water.

Really nice place to go especially in good weather. When making a reservation, they'll put you in the restaurant so you can't eat outside but the food, although a pricey, is very good. If you are sharing desert, get the one with a bit of every desert, definitely worth it!

Very well presented place with fantastic views even in winter. During the summer months and long evenings its the place to be. Well located although parking may be an issue for some. Well priced and food is outstanding. Staff know the food which helps when you aren't too sure what to get. Would also recommend it for a Valentine's meal out. Fantastic restaurant, i have been quite nervous as a someone whonis shielding duringnthe pandemic, the staff at the restaurant could not be anymore accommodating, the door man ensures social distancing is adhered too while you queue up, we were offered an outdoor table for food, our hands were sanitised and i felt so comfortable, the burgers were fabulous and the customer service was outstanding. Work Christmas party, the food was nice and service was excellent however the bar service was a little lacking, large order and felt like we were an inconvenience! Maybe leave the sarcasm at home next time, it is the festive season!! Went 27th July for my sister's 52nd birthday reserved a seat by the river really lovely but pity about the weather. but all in all if you like a pint you get a loyalty card which I think is good so if u buy 6 pints you get a free 1 good idea.. My last visit to the Cutters Wharf was for a wedding and I have to say it was among one of the best weddings I have been to, a beautiful venue overlooking the River Lagan. I also very much enjoy the ambience of the restaurant, again with views over the river and not forgetting to mention their wonderful food. Great area outside for eating and drinking and if cool there are gas heaters to keep you warm.

Been here few times,,, nice downstairs bar restaurant the food can be hit are miss I would prefer if my main meal came out on a plate instead of wooden bored would make more sense the chips came in a basket but there is no where put them on as the wooden bored isn't big enough meals can be expensive maybe that's because they use there francy wooden boreds lol??? Thru use invest in getting some plates the menus haven't changed either but I guess it's really all bar food?? Staff can be aggront at times especially when bar staff are happy enough to take your money and not give u your change back...

Unexpected meeting with friends and hunger took us to Cutters Wharf in a beautiful Sunday afternoon. Found a table for 4 in the sun but shortly decided to seek shade and found another lovely table under an awning along the riverbank. The bar menu was limited but our choices of Beef Bolognese for two and Battered Cod for two proved most satisfying as well as substantial..A slight change of accompanying mushy peas to coleslaw and chunky chips to skinny fries were readily agreed at no extra cost. Our companions bought the drinks and then the refreshing coffees to finish a delightful occasion..
