Excellent dinner here on a recent weekend in Belfast. The restaurant is perched above the St George Market, and great atmosphere with an open kitchen, Great service from the waiters etc.
The seafood soup with crabmeat on toast was amaxing. The chicken supreme with with confit leg with gnocchi ragu was...supreme! Would defintely go again.

First time I have ever been here, booked it this morning as having seen the menu was impressed.
We went into the restaurant to book this evening and the lovely lady that took our booking was most helpful, she even found out what fish was featuring on the menu that night and it was Dover Sole or Turbot for two...sold straight away.
The atmosphere, decor, service, and whole experience was superb and our waiter Nick was very entertaining, attentive and knew his job inside out, a true professional.
We both ordered the Dover Sole which came with perfect roast veg and chunky chips, the butter sauce complemented the fish perfectly.
I had the Pavlova with winter fruits and vanilla cream to follow which was delicious.
Have not experienced a perfect evenings dining like this for a very long time and would thoroughly recommend you dine here.
We are over from Manchester and I can honestly say they have nothing to match this experience there.

Went here for lunch. A bit pricy but the food is really good. We got the Wicklow venison and the roast beef and both are lovely and made just right with lots of flavors. The environment and ambience is classy but bright and relaxing at the same time. Lots of space between seating. Bathroom is nice and clean. Staff is friendly and welcoming.

We were coming for a birthday dinner to this place. All of us were very delighted with all the food and service we have received. All the courses we had for dinner ware just divine as well as the drinks. Very friendly and kind staff. Definitely worthy to visit if you’re ever in Belfast and want to grab a fancy dinner.

Just a perfect venue for a sunny Saturday brunch. Requested a balcony table for five with our online booking and were kindly accommodated without any fuss.. Delightful, tasty fresh food, served by friendly, pleasant staff and the buzz of St George's Market in the background, made for a wonderful experience. The whole feel about the place tempted me into a Mimosa before 12!
Highly recommended and can't wait to return. Best wishes to all.

Fantastic Food, great service and wonderful location

Based in St George's Market. Had a Pumpkin Ravioli starter which was buttery and delicious. My pork main was a very ample portion. My friend thought their duck however to be overdone. Drinks wise, wine is very overpriced as is the menu itself for what I feel is essentially Bistro food plus to stick on the dreaded "discretionary" service charge is always a bit of a cheek. It wasn't awful but I wouldn't go out of my way to go back.

Gorgeous food and great service and a beautiful place to eat.Would definitely recommend this place for a special occasion .

Great service and delicious food. We visited Sunday lunch time, so were a little confused about the concept, the restaurant menu suggests it's fine dining, a la carte (but perhaps a bit more suitable for dinner). Lucky pizza menu was also available on Sunday, which was more lunch appropriate we thought. Anyway, we left fed and happy👍

The full package: great food, ambiance, service and value. 8 of us and everything faultless. Fish of the day (whole roast turbot for 2 filleted for you by the waiter) spectacular . Great veggie options as well. Game (pigeon, rabbit ragu over wild mushroom ravioli) exceptional. A must try in Belfast

Great food, staff were all excellent and the atmosphere was really really lovely. Those proper chips are properly good.

Great experience. I have lactose intolerance, and Eliza was very patiently explaining each course and made recommendation.
She was very helpful from ordering to finish. Food was great too. I would recommend this place.

Nice looking place and beautiful location. Food was soooo yummy even though it looked like it had just been thrown into the bowl, as it was over the rim. Not cheap here as fish soup £10 and a small wheaten bread at £4, but yummy. So two soup one wheaten a coke and Fanta at sure much they were, but the bill was £33 so must have been £4.50 each or was there service charge intended.

Great night out at Stock, I had the duck confit to start then the sole with gnocchi - top notch. My wife had scallops and then the fish casserole which she loved. We will definitely be back and would recommend! The wine selection is really good too, the NZ sauvignon blanc from an Irish producer is awesome.

Fantastic Food, great service and wonderful location

The best place I've eaten in a long time. The food was delicious, from starters to dessert, pure Umami. The wine selection is really good, and the recommendation, a Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand, was exquisite. The service was very attentive and the atmosphere very pleasant. A perfect dinner. A must if you are in Belfast!

Excellent food. Superb seafood. Great wine selection and lovely cooktails.
Very highly recommended.

We came to stock for a romantic date night as coronavirus had put our wedding on hold we received a warm and friendly welcome with fantastic customer service. Food and drinks where excellent, My partner is usally fussy when it comes to picking food but she had no issue tonight we had pegion and monk fish for starter followed by venison and pork chop which was then topped off with the dark chocolate tart to complete our night we also tried some of stock's recommended gin and mixer combos which may I say were just as delicious as the food we ate. A Big thank you to Dan and staff who made our would be wedding night perfect.

I went to Stock on Friday night with a fellow foodie and it was fantastic, the service was brilliant, we had Oysters to start, then the Halibut Ravioli which was absolutely delicious. I would suggest putting a more chocolately (it's a word) desert back on the menu for us chocaholics - but overall a fab evening. I also left my bankcard behind and they kindly emailed us to let me know - fab service.

Still in stock right now. Have been here 5 or 6 times and have had something different every time I have been here. Never disappoints. Espresso martini to finish of the meal. Will be back again.

On a hot and sunny day, whilst on a visit to St Georges Market, I decided that a cool pint of beer would go down well. I decided to give Stock kitchen and bar a visit to quench my thirst. I can't speak for the food on offer as I didn't eat on this occasion. I found the place very accessible as I have mobility issues. I was able to get an elevator to the first floor Bar/Kitchen/Restaurant area. As the elevator opened, I knew immediately that I had made a good decision. I was taken aback by the decor and furnishings. It was quite clear that it is wheelchair friendly. I don't depend on a wheelchair, but for anyone that does, it's ideal. It has a wonderful balcony which overlooks the ground floor market trading area. I made my way to the bar area and was met by a very courteous, friendly and efficient bar staff member. I was served up a pint of beer which I found cool and refreshing, price wise, I wouldn't call it expensive. I have paid more in places that wouldn't even come close as to what this place has to offer. As I said before I didn't eat on this visit, but without a doubt I will be back to give the menus a go. From my experience, I can give it a 5 star review/reccomendation.
Best wishes for the future.

Great location, friendly staff and very nice ambience. The squid for starter was nice, but the lobster dish was quite disappointing - the tomato sauce it comes in was a bit bland, just tasted like plain passata with little seasoning. The seafood casserole was just OK, again tasted a bit bland. Would like to try again as I see other good reviews and I may have just got it on a bad day. Staff are very welcoming and a credit to the restaurant

We enjoyed every aspect of our visit to the Stock Kitchen. The menu is inspired, the food full of diverse flavours and beautifully fresh. The staff are very friendly and enthusiastic and we felt comfortable in the surroundings. We would recommend that all our friends visit Stock when they come to Belfast.

The service from start to finish was outstanding a great food as always

We had a fantastic dinner tonight. Service was great, the staff were all so friendly and accommodating, and our food was delicious. My other half ordered lobster and I had lamb, both dishes were cooked perfectly and were really tasty. We definitely recommend a trip to Stock! All Covid regs were followed and we felt really at ease the restaurant too.
M. K.
Great location, great food, shockingly rude service. Ruined what would have been a fantastic lunch.
D. M.
Fantastic place - great food, excellent menu, good vibe, very comfortable, impeccable service and the front of house lady was amazing

Stock is one of the best restaurants in Belfast and totally underated. The food is brilliant, great service and nice location but is usually not ram packed full of people. I was almost hesitant to leave a good review so I can selfishly keep this hidden gem a secret.

Ate at Stock on Wednesday 9 September with colleagues after work. I've enjoyed dinner at Stock previously, but my company hadn't eaten dinner there before.
The tables were well spaced to comply with Covid requirements and a one way system is in operation to allow for social distancing.
The atmosphere in the restaurant was good for early mid week.
All three diners chose a different meal: seafood casserole, lamb and duck. The food wasn't great - it was exquisite. Staff lifted three empty plates. We also ordered dessert- I had cheesecake, the passionfruit was fabulous.
Stock continues to operate an "eat out to help out" offer - £10 off food bill per person.
Can thoroughly recommend Stock.

You know how it is: sometimes it’s a bit like “The Emperor’s New Clothes”! Everyone seems to be raving so much about a particular venue, and your expectations have been built up so highly, that it can only disappoint. And so, as we’d heard nothing but glowing reports, we felt slightly apprehensive about our first visit to Stock. We needn’t have worried.
Chefs Danny Millar and Andy Rea have created an amazing restaurant above the bustling St George’s Market serving memorable, quality dishes using only the finest of Irish ingredients. The team work with local suppliers who are just as passionate about the produce as they are. The classic architectural surroundings on the second floor are stunning with a dining balcony overlooking the thriving marketplace below.
We chose a few of the lighter dishes for starters, and as soon as they arrived, we knew this was going to be a very special lunch indeed. Tasty, traditional Irish Crubeens, crispy Courgette Fries sprinkled liberally with Parmesan, an incredible fresh Ballyhornan Crab Salad, and slow-fermented “Sour Bake” pizza bread, oozing with garlic butter.
All of our main course options showcased some of the amazing fresh seafood on the menu; rich sweet Strangford Lobster on a prawn and lobster raviolo, an outstanding Market Seafood Casserole, perfectly cooked Dover Sole on the bone, and a special of Lobster-Stuffed Courgette Flowers with a rich lobster bisque.
And desserts were also a delight ; a light as a feather Strawberry Pavlova, and a Dark Chocolate Tart with raspberries and orange mascarpone - a perfect ending to a wonderful lunch. We can’t wait to return to Stock in the very near future.

You pay for what you get. Wonderful food and great service in a stylish environment. A fabulous night out.

First time at Stock last night and was blown away by how good everything was. The drinks, the food and the service was first class. Atmosphere was very nice too. Couldn't rate highly enough! Well done guys

Went at 6pm on a Sunday, As expected very quiet, but more couples arrived as we finished our starters. Irish Crubbeans. Very Tasty.
I had Lamb Shoulder and my Wife had Hake with Mussels and Butter Beans. We ordered an extra side of chips , be careful Gorgeous but very Hot.
Lemon Tart for Dessert was perfect. To sum it up, My wife said it was the best meal she ever had. We will go back and have recommended it to friends and family.
Service was excellent as well and the Chef even came out to the Tables and explained how he was cooking everything. I expect that was because it was quiet and he had the time.
Beautiful Restaurant and the menu is not the run of the mill you find everywhere.

Service was good, nice and friendly, food was quick to table. Setting was interesting and had a slight euro feel to it. Food was tasty and we'll presented and local, will be back.

Came here with friends to celebrate my birthday. Absolutely loved it. The food was exceptional! One of the best meals I've had in Belfast. Service was excellent - all the staff were friendly & attentive. Beautiful decor & a great atmosphere with the open kitchen. Can't wait to go back. A must if you are in Belfast!

Had a delicious meal on Saturday 15th February with five friends. Great food and great atmosphere. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Met early and had a few pre dinner drinks and a good natter. I had the scallops for starter followed by the special main of beef Wellington. All six of us were impressed by the food and whole dining experience. Reasonably priced for the quality of food. Absolutely delicious. Hope to go back

Great menu especially fish I enjoyed spicey monkfish tails as a starter and had beautiful pan fried sole for a main ,both delicious. Service good Went on Wednesday night and they have extended the £10 per person off offer House was full which helped the atmosphere
J. M.
Been here a few times, and it’s great experience.
Most recently I shared the whole turbot for 2, with summer vegetables with roasted beetroot which was fantastic. Nice relaxed atmosphere and the bar is good to kick around and enjoy drinks.
C. M.
Great spot. it's got a chilled atmosphere and has delicious pizza choices! The staff were helpful at all times. Clean bathroom facilities too.

We had the take away option due to the lockdown. We have had almost all the takeaways from Belfasts main restaurants during the pandemic. They've all been good but the stock one was really special. The lobster bisque in particular was outstanding.
H. C.
We had a fabulous lunch at Stock whilst overlooking the hustle and bustle of St George's Market. Amazing oysters, monkfish and sourdough pizzas delivered so quickly from the oven the cheese was still bubbling.
Unlike some establishments Stock is sticking to social distancing with well placed tables, a one way system in place and santaiser on every table. This was very reassuring and highlights that they are keen to get up and running but not at the cost to their customers, staff or the NHS .
Highly recommended
P. R.
Just had a table for four and everything was fabulous. First visit and from over the water - would thoroughly recommend (not only was the food and drink amazing - the alcohol was cheaper than we were paying in a pub last night!)
Go for the cote du boeuf as a personal recommendation. The (owner?) chef came to the table several times to say hello and explain the food - brilliant.
Can't say a bad word about the place to be honest.
K. H.
Sunday brunch at Stock was a delight. Fabulous food in classy surroundings, served by lovely staff. Young buck blue + cider soaked raisins + fruit soda = a taste revelation! Would highly recommend for a leisurely Sunday afternoon.

Fantastic night - food was superb - fresh fish locally sourced - my turbot was cooked to perfection - pudding was equally good. Lively welcoming atmosphere in beautifully refurbished surroundings - the decor is gorgeous. Thank you!

Fantastic food - really great. Went for lunch and got the market seafood summer casserole (tools will be provided, and you’ll need to get your hands dirty) - it was superb. Lovely vibe in a beautiful space in St. George’s market w/ Open kitchen. Whether you go for a drink at the bar, breakfast, lunch or dinner, I'm sure you’ll have a great experience - Definitely recommend checking it out!
