You need to book if you want a table. It's very noisy (so don't come here for a quiet date). Many of the customers look like guys whom you wouldn't want to have an argument with. The menu is basically steak (or burger) with chips, though they also offer a seitan vegan steak or burger patty (see my photo). The food is simple and tasty.

Went with a friend on a Saturday lunchtime. Both of us had the Top Blade flat iron steak and three sides each including Onion Rings and Sweet Potato Fries. The steak was presented well and deliciously cooked. With two beers, the bill for both of us came to just over fifty pounds so cannot fault the value. Service was quick as well. I'd revisit.

Team were fantastic very attentive despite being busy. Service was timely and as a solo diner I enjoyed watching them buzzing about working hard and efficiently. 2018 rioja was lovely. Meat perfectly cooked. Slight issue with a salt sachet, a little pile of rock salt with pink peppercorns on your boards would definitely enhance the look, feel and flavour of the product. House sauce is dreadful - please get rid. Tasted like big mac/tasty sauce, which has its place but shouldn't be in yours. Managed to save some fellow diners from making the same mistake. They had peppercorn sauce after tasting mine and were glad they did. A delightful meal 7/10. Sort the sauce/salt and you're looking at a 9 or 10. Thanks

Top notch steak, pricey but worth paying for that level of steak. I was recommended here by locals and they were right. Right up there with the best steaks I've had. Only point was i found the champ slightly bland...tastes like any mash you can get in England.

Cocktails beautiful, steak good , sides very greasy. My steak was cooked perfectly but my husbands wasn't. Our bill was £152 and the waiter came over to say we had 7 minutes left!! I thought this was quite rude and he could have said it in a better manner! Not sure i would return in a hurry.

Myself and my friend dined here Sunday evening and it was absolutely amazing, we were up in Belfast in a weekend away from Galway and were so delighted to find this gem, I've already recommended to others visiting Belfast in the next couple months. We hadn't a booking but were delighted to be accommodated by the lovely host on the door, all the waiters and waitresses working there were so friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, we both had the 8oz steak and not one fault, we also had desert the chocolate cake I had was the nicest I had in a long time! Definitely for future visits to belfast I will have no doubt where I will be choosing to dine in the evenings and will continue to recommend top blade to others making the trip!

It’s alright. That’s about it. I’d go for the flank steak next time if ever returning, it looked the best from what I seen. The T-bone is way too thin. Chips aren’t great either. House sauce is basically south west sauce which was a major letdown. (*Go for peppered sauce*). For a specialty steak house I was disappointed to be honest. 🤷🏻

The most incredible food, and I mean drool worthy! I can’t complain about a single thing!! The food the music the atmosphere the people!! The owner in particular was absolutely fantastic and a particular waiter was amazing, really attentive and a great attitude. Would highly HIGHLY recommend 10/10 will be there again and again!

Took my fiancé there for his birthday and it definitely was not disappointing, the steak was cooked to perfection and the sides were amazing, as well cocktails were lovely and not badly priced for the middle of Belfast. One of the waitresses, was so lovely and had asked if I wanted the happy birthday song played when we got dessert and it was great. Highly Highly recommend top blade as your first stop shop for the best steak in town!

Pros. The steak I had ,was the best I’d ever had in my adult life. Cons Small tables, once everything was on the table there wasn’t much room to set your glass down when you had an empty glass sitting. Wooden board Instead of a plate your meal comes out on a wooden board. Stunning presentation . Instagram worthy but then your where do you fit your side orders. I found it messy Give me a plate any day. They my do plates if asked. We didn’t. Over all we had a lovely meal but with a few small changes it could be an excellent meal.

Definitely the best steaks you can get in Belfast within its price range. T-Bone was a bit too thin but quality was impeccable. Garlic potatoes were the best, skinny fries a bit disappointing. Their homemade chipotle-based sauce is outstanding. Looking forward to come back to try the Tomahawk.

Have dined here twice. The first experience was 5* from food to service. The second experience was only saved by the yummy food. Service was terrible. We had a table booking for 7:30pm and did not get seated until 8:15pm. We were not offered any drinks while waiting. There was a stag party in who refused to leave and were using the restaurant as a shot bar. Staff did try to move them along but it still disturbed the other diners and held others back. We ordered cocktails and steaks. However no one member of staff approached us to see if everything was ok or offer a second drink. We were both dying of thirst. I went up to ask for drinks half way through our mains. These did not arrive. No one cleared our mains or asked if we wanted a dessert. Staff were too busy gossiping and using their phones. Do not think I'll be back which due to awful service. Such a shame given how high standards were only a year ago.

Lovely steak and kind staff. The premises were a bit cramped but the food was worth it. We did have to wait around 20 mins for our table to free up but was provided with a complimentary drink for our wait. Can't fault it! Will be back as soon as we can get a booking!

What a place what a place what a place! Go for the top blade steak, an 8oz flat iron steak, cooked so well - managed to cook a rare, medium rare and medium to request for our party, each and every turned out perfect. Each bite soft, juicy and flavourful, along with their sauces being perfect companions. Not only this but the price was fantastic for what they offer, really good quality meat cooked professionally at half the cost compared to a lot of other sub-par steak places around Belfast. We ordered every side, and everyone enjoyed them, heck even the prawns were cooked so well, bursting with flavour. Get a chance? Go! I'd simply have to reccomend it, we will certainly be going back.

The steak was unreal! We had the 8 oz with prawns added, delicious! Would definately recommend and definately be back! We went in tonight, all staff wearing masks and we all felt really comfortable. Top Blade had taken all precautions to make us still feel welcome and safe. 5 star all day! If you can, definately try the chocolate fudge cake, thank me later!!

Was out here for valentines night the food 5 ☆ Fillet steak was beautiful really tender ... service was great .... The food was quick out off the kitchen .. THE layout off the restaurant was great....THE FLIRTINI cocktail was amazing ... liked the look off the cocktail tree any 12 cocktails for £95 ... tho only had the table for 1&half hrs no chance wee were gona try & down 12 cocktails lol .... Will defo be back so maybe next time wee will get to try them

We stumbled across this place online. Very very friendly staff. The owner Kenny made the effort to come over a talk to us and was very friendly. The food was absolutely incredible. Steak was cooked to perfection. We both had the flat iron. For the price it's a decent portion. We both shared the sides which was more then adequate. Great atmosphere and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice steak house in Belfast.

Food was good the fillet steak definitely melts in your mouth but I wouldn’t rush to go back. The cocktail tree was a disaster As one of the drinks spilled over one of our party staff didn’t seem too bothered it also took a long time for the drinks to show up, cocktails were below average at best. Food came out and again some of the steak sauce was spilled over the table while being served. After finishing we asked for the bill then 30 mins later the girl comes over and asks if we can leave as they have another party waiting for that table.

Wow just out of one of Belfast newish restaurans "Top Blade" At Anne square . On arrive the staff where very friendly and warm, shown to our table and was presented with a complimentary pop corn and asked if we would like drinks. Service was excellent. We had all ordered different steaks, different sides etc never have I had such quick service. The food was amazing, steaks cooked to perfection. I must say it was one of the best steaks I have eaten . Prices where very reasonable considering the food quality and service . Deffently will be back and I highly recommend it to anyone a 5 star all the way . A big thanks to the girls on service . One not to be missed if your in Belfast

Oh My Goodness! How have I not heard of Top Blade before this week. It is by far the BEST steak I have ever had. Everything was cooked perfectly, there is a great atmosphere in the restaurant and to top it off their desserts (I got the profiteroles) were amazing. Service was high quality with the servers knowing not to ask how is everything when you've just put food in your mouth (I hate that) To quote one of the people I shared the experience with "I'd give that an 11 out of 10 I would" Could not fault one thing about the entire experience. Already know my order for the next time I go. 16oz T-bone. Can't wait to try it in the Summer months and sit outside. See you soon Top Blade

Had dinner here last night with a very large group (25-30 people). The owner and staff were incredible and went above and beyond for us. As an American, I've had a lot of good steak and this was right up there with it. Everyone at my table also enjoyed all the sides we had (market vegetables, mash, and sweet potato fries). I wish I could give more than 5 stars, thanks for a great experience Top Blade!

A Meal with Tender Love and Meat I was recommended Top Blade by two of the illustrious chefs, one was quite a tall fellow, the other was a dashing young man with a chiseled face like the Gods. Nathan was his name. The food was delicious and the steak had a scorched note underneath from chef Nathan (it said "I love you sugarplums") and when I left Nathan gave me a peck on the lips and instantly I knew I would come back. I hope we get to 4th base next time :)

We came here on a tuesday night for my girlfriends birthday. When we arrived in we were immediately seated and handed a cup of salted popcorn which I absolutely love! Rapid service and chatty staff, food was great however not a big selection of steak to get, could do with a big stake on the menu as a 16oz wasnt big enough for me. 4 stars due to limited choice on menu

Reasonably priced and tasty house steak but the sides were a lil odd; a chorizo and cheese 'rollito' is a cube of cheese wrapped in a slice of chorizo and the creamed spinach was a bowl of cream with wilted spinach floating in it. Not terrible, just not what I was expecting.
