Great asian fusion cuisine experience. The food is excellent, both in taste as well as in presentation. The positions are not small so you would not leave hungry. We've tried only two drinks from the menu and both vere top notch. The writers were just lovely, very helpful and did not mind our questions. The whole experience was smooth and very pleasant. The evening for 2 persons cost us about £90. I would definitely recommend it for an evening together.

The Asian-Fusion dishes here were extremely good. Never had anything like it before, they do sushi and baos which is what we ordered. It was very good. They had some offer on which was truffles and lemon sake which they were testing. Both very nice. The female who served us was incredibly friendly and the male towards the end was great too. Sadly I don't remember their names but they made our experience very enjoyable.

Me and my family went in a few days ago. Let me tell you it’s not only one of the coolest spots in Belfast it’s one of the best. The food is incredible to say the least, each bite was special and I wanted more. The staff were incredibly nice, the chefs were exceptional and were very engaged in what they were doing but also with the customers! To say it was an experience I will never forget is an understatement. Perfect if it was a restaurant I can’t wait to go again

Friendly and attentive staff. Many of the dishes are way too spicy, they had a table of us in coughing fits and tears. Portion sizes are very small and over priced eg. £3 for a tiny spring roll, £5 for one bao bun without any meat in it. There is very limited option for vegans and vegetarians and no separate veggie menu but the staff are able to explain what substitutions can be made to make a menu item vegetarian. I wouldn’t rush back as portions were small and food was way too spicy. Dessert portions were good though, perfect size and really nice.

By far the best Asian restaurant in Belfast! Dined here for my birthday back in February and it was amazing start to finish. We got the Pork Spring Rolls (complimentary), Pork Dumplings and Beef Short Rib Massaman. I don't usually enjoy a Dessert but the Chocolate Ganache was just the right balance of sweet. Food was cooked to perfection and tasted so good that we wanted more of everything. Cannot wait to go back and try more dishes. Service was excellent and staff were all super friendly.

Excellent service. Clean restaurant with chic ambience. Asian street food menu with a twist of tapas served in a upscale posh plating but small portion. Food is pricey for Asian food and taste was not authentic of course but still delicious. The sushi was very fresh and delicious. Every playing was served in style and beautifully presented. Great hand out place for drinking and sharing food with friends.

One of the best dinner we ever had! The Szechuan braised lamb shoulder for a starter was without exaggeration the best lamb I have ever tasted! The prices are fair and all meals we had were something very special and tasted fantastic. The staff was very friendly. The place is a bit more on the loud side, but that’s mostly due to it being completely full of people. You can also watch the chefs working at a blistering speed. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Belfast, you don’t have to be into Asian food to love this place!

One of the best sushi I ever had! It was not the fish or the freshness that got me but the harmony of the ingredients. The taste of each of the three rolls I had was so well rounded that it was just amazingly beautiful to eat - and to look at. Booked a table since the place is small, but didn't effect the ambient. Staff were very friendly and greeting; explained the menu to us and helped us to choose. Vegetarian menu is also available. The food was out of this world. From the crispy pork, dumplings, bao buns, duck and dessert. So delicious!!! Also, restaurant is very hygienic and the design is so cool as well.

Very quirky and delicious, a little more expensive than I'd expect as it's effectively like a sim sum menu for the most part as portions are small. Although for an Asian restaurant the lack of Asian chefs is a little concerning.

Everything is prepared to the highest standard. Fresh and expertly prepared sushi. Have a seat at the pass and watch the expert Sushi chef prepare it to order. Matching cocktails as well which are unique and fit the menu. I’ve been over 10 times and it has never let me down. I recommend this place to anyone visiting or to anyone local who hasn’t been.

This place is certainly worth the required reservation for an evening meal. It’s not a large place so expect to be sat close to your dining neighbours but we had a fantastic relaxed yet smart evening. The menu is small and anyone not familiar with the more Asian style of food could find themselves choosing blindly, but don’t worry - the staff are so friendly and approachable, willing to offer help and explanations for everything available. As a group of six we shared a number of dishes rather than having one of the ‘big’ dishes each. Over the course of the meal we have twelve dishes between us which was plenty, so with the prices actually offered great value for money. Everything was cooked perfectly, presented well and full of flavour. The dumplings were a particular favourite with the pork & prawn being ordered repeatedly. The choice of drinks was good, with a unique selection of cocktails too, and the staff were great at keeping us topped us and also attentive for additional food dishes. The restaurant has a really nice interior complete with open kitchen. This gave it an authentic feel while being modern and everywhere was spotlessly clean. A limited amount of seating is available at the bar for individuals too. You could easily walk straight past this place but I’d highly recommend it for something a little different in the city and I’ll be sure to return!

In fact if the menu had been slightly larger we would have gone back the following evening! Only negative was the service was pretty slow and the staff somewhat inattentive but they were friendly. If you want vegetarian/vegan options you’ll need to ask as they aren’t all included on the main menu.

O U T S T A N D I N G Probably one of my favourite restaurants. I simply cannot fault it. And swift, smiley, and competent service just adding to the overall impression. I will miss this place. Sadly, I haven't taken as many photos of their glorious food as I would like, simply because I was too busy enjoying every mouthful. You know when you savour something, and your eyes open even more, in shear amazement, trying to identify all the notes and ingredients. Then you savour it slowly, and you want more. Well, this is it. Came as close to perfection as it will ever be. I was in Belfast for three days, and generally love exploring around any city, trying out new hidden gems. This was luckily discovered on my first day, and I didn't change the restaurant. Went there every day, tried most of their menu, which is small, very compact and would please the fussiest of eaters, since they are so accommodating to any request. A real gem. Keep up the good work! I cannot wait to be back in town. ❤

First time here. We were greeted by Emma, she was very friendly making us feel welcome straight away. The menu is all Asian meals most of which I had never tried but Emma was very good and explained what everything was and the best way to order. Following her advice we decided on ordering sharing dishes. We let Emma select from the menu on our behalf. We were not disappointed. The pork dumplings were amazing!! Little fireballs!! We had beef as a main.. The meat was so tender and just pulled away. I honestly can not say a bad word about it. We finished with cocktails which also were delicious. One final suprise was the bill....4 of us, 5 courses, drinks throughout and finishing with cocktails.. £144 👍👍 Well done Yügo... Thank you Emma

The service was quick and the waiters were very helpful. We sat on the stools looking into he kitchen which was also a good experience. Went here for birthday treat. Smallish menu but very well cooked. What I think Asian street food might be like. Served in a tapas restaurant-type way, things coming in dribs and drabs. Waitress very helpful and friendly, as were other staff. Loses a star, I’m afraid, for horribly loud music blaring out above our table making conversation difficult. Sort that out and it’s lovely.

The layout is an Asian restaurant style in that it is informal with places for people to eat in close proximity to each other. For those that are looking for a more formal or private dining experience, then this is perhaps not for you as it is a small and intimate eatery. Whilst I love Yugo (and the steamed buns are amazing) I have only visited twice because we can never get a reservation. If you are planning a visit you need to book well in advance because it is always full due to having great food and being a very small restaurant. Would recommend as one of the better places to eat in the City centre.

Great Bao buns (all of them) and sushi. Haven't had anything here I wouldn't recommend. At Christmas they had brussel sprouts with chilli, cranberry and mint that were incredible (seven if you don't normally like them). Can get busy and it isn't a big place so worth booking in advance.

What can I say bar; Hidden Gem. This place is entirely not what I was expecting and was equally entirely fantastic. Yes, it’s small... yes... the menu is not extensive... yes... blink when you’re walking past and you’ll miss it... BUT... one you try it you’ll be in love. This is a food lovers dream, the vibe is awesome and the staff are fab. Just go in and go with it. Nothing I would change about this place, just don’t tell too many people as you’ll want it as your wee secret.

Popped in for a quick lunch on way to catch bus to Dublin airport. Sat at counter. Lovely atmosphere. Had crispy pork dumplings, delicious spicey but small (£6). Also had a Beef brisket Thai noodle broth with beansprouts and basil. Very distinive taste, chilli on side so one can decide spice level (£9). Topped off with a Kirin beer. Slightly expensive for lunch but worth it. Highly recommend if you like Asian food, will return to try the dinner menu.

Yugo We Go - You Go ! Thursday 26th Sep This is surely the best Asian restaurant in Belfast, which is why you must make sure you book in advance. The food is fresh and tasty and the flavours are amazing. The soft shell crab bao buns are a must. The vegetarian sushi rolls are great as are the Tofu Massaman Curry and the citrus cured stone bass. You’ll always get a bit of banter with the staff which is great fun.

The kitchen is open, it is possible to sit at the counter and look at the chef's kitchen. The food at this place is insane. The card is very simple, dishes prepared with great care, fresh and well seasoned. Each dish has its own taste and is unique. Delicious sauces, well-prepared juicy pink beef, poetry, explosion of flavors, falling into taste buds for a long time. Bravo ! The service in this city is at a very high level. Mr. waiter and ladies behind the bar smiling, describe each dish, advise. Really friendly and professional service! I would recommend! Kuchnia jest otwarta, jest możliwość siedzenia przy blacie i patrzenia na przygotowujące potrawy chefa kuchni. Jedzenie w tym miejscu jest obłędne. Karta bardzo prosta, potrawy przyrządzane z duża starannością, świeże dobrze przyprawione. Każde z dan ma swój smak, i jest wyjątkowe. Przepyszne sosy, dobrze przyrządzona wołowina soczysta, różowa, poezja eksplozja smaków, zapadająca w kubki smakowe na długi czas. Brawa ! Obsługa w tym miejscy jest na bardzo wysokim poziome. Pan kelner i panie za barem uśmiechnięte, opisują każde danie, doradzają. Naprawdę przyjazna i profesjonalna obsługa! Polecam!
