Fun and interesting! A vibrant loft-style, industrial space filled with curios and a smart, eclectic crowd. Well-stocked bar, and while slightly light on the wine choices they are fine. I'd choose cocktails next time! The food is very much towards the more traditional tapas bar-snacks of meats/cheeses/fried foods - they are delicious though! Patatas Bravas were lovely, as were the anchovies (gorgeous!) and the cod croquetas. Portions are generous. Go and enjoy for pre-drinks or post-theatre or just indulge in the rich food in between rounds!

The setting is excellent, everyone is social distancing. Food was delicious, only draw back was the waitress couldn't answer any questions I asked as she didn't speak English, she then stood over us while we were looking at the menu waiting for us to point out what we wanted. This put a damper on what could have been an enjoyable evening. We will return and give it another try but you need to sort the waiting staff out.

As me and my partner walked in the door man walked us through to the inside where they then gave us a table with menus after ordering our drinks and food the staff were very attentive and friendly Music was nice and cool without having to shout at my partner we could have normal conversations and after spending just over £100 I assume it was the manager that came over and offered us 2 cocktails on the house which me and my partner really appreciated after having the cocktails the waitress came along with two more free shots which once again was on the house The food was great and fresh the atmosphere was brilliant the staff are very friendly everything was perfect! Cocktails were lovely as well Highly recommended!!

The Jewellery Quarter's best kept secret!!!!! I cannot believe just how amazing this place is. The 2 of us were passing a couple of Mondays ago, when we were invited in for a drink as the gallery was celebrating it's 3 year anniversary. It seemed to be a really cool and quirky place so a group of us decided to try the Tapas there last night. The food was outstanding - we had 10 tapas dishes between 4 of us, everything came out perfect and hot. Great flavours and presentation. The Sangria was also a massive hit! The 2 male members of staff who served us were fantastic, they knew about the dishes, what to recommend and were lovely and welcoming. My friends and I all agreed that this would be a regular place for us now - this place has hit the nail on the head. Keep it up!!! x

The cured meat and cheese sharing board was so lame. The meat was low quality, tasteless. The cheese was okay but it seriously needs variety, that sharing board was DEFINITELY not worth £23, for that low quality and amount of cheese and meat on that board, it should've been worth £12! I can get cured meat from waitrose for £4 pounds and it would taste so much better than the plastic like chewy tasteless meat I had at this place. It really felt like a waste of money. However, the cocktails were really nice and the place is interesting, unusual decor. We had to ask for napkins/straws several times because the waitors were forgetful I guess?

The place is very elegant and has got lots of interesting exotic decorations creating a very charming atmosphere. The waiters were very nice but the food not great given that there were not many vegan options and the patatas bravas which are normally vegan came with a mayo topping. They should def think of introducing more vegan-friendly meals to keep up the level!

Wow, what a great venue. I was suitably impressed when I entered Ana Rocha last week. It is such an incredible place. Firstly the décor - As it is also a gallery, there's a lot of art on display. There is also a great selection of vintage furniture, props and other items scattered around the space.. As we entered we were told that everything that you see is available to buy. There is so much to see in this place it would be hard to get bored. Next, the bar - The staff on the bar are incredible. They obviously knew what they were doing - they are friendly, professional and the cocktails taste amazing. Finally, the food - Again, simply incredible. I don't think I have ever had Chorizo like the meat that they serve here (it just melted in my mouth). I don't think that this was the most authentic tapas that I have tasted, and it has more of a cultured feel, but it was great all the same.

Beautiful decor, but a bit confusing it's a bar, restaurant, Musium, and shop, they have a DJ playing great tunes very loud but no where to dance but you have to shout across the table to be heard. Food and drink expensive we wanted some bread while we were waiting and asked for oil and balsamic but they don't do it so the brought some cold baguette with some tomato puree spread on it not great

This place is exceptionally odd. I was tempted in by the promise on the A-board outside of "Extravagant Surroundings" and the friendly, cheerful doorman who guided us through the entrance corridor and small gallery of rather good paintings and drawings and into an ante-room which feels like an auction room selling all manner of oddities, from leather barbers' chairs through handcuffs to vintage Patek Phillipe watches. The owner met us and led us through to the restaurant, which resembles nothing more than a prop-store under a theatre (a pony-skin dentist's chair, bits of cast-iron, steel filing cabinets, sculptures of rusted iron bolts, bits of wood, lots of Picasso-esque drawings... ). The food was better-than-average Tapas classics: patatas bravas, olives, bread, asparagus and the like and the staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. Lunch for two with soft drinks was a bit higher than average at £25 (June 2016) but the surroundings made it worthwhile. Overall, the strangeness of this place makes it interesting and I will be back for sure. Strongly suggest you check out the website, which contains such brilliant lines as "Seductives cocktails: Slip into this seductive space and let our expert bartenders seduce you. Here, era-defining cocktails are twisted, forgotten classics are reconstructed and new passions are ignited". The whole place is this unhinged.

Nothing like it in the rest of Birmingham, probably not in the country. Sounds strange in writing but the high end art, furniture (think flea market), bar, tapas and music all set in an old factory building works perfectly. Definitely worth a visit. Works equally as well for couples or groups.
