A truly great experience. The guys who own it are knowledgeable and passionate about what they make. Most importantly though, the beer is fantastic! We originally went because we had a voucher for a brewery tour (highly recommend) and we’ve been back multiple times for the beer. Always new stuff and every beer is worth having! A must check out for beer fans.

Great Place - Great Beers - Very Friendly... Just go there

We went here because we found a voucher for a beer tour and tasting. We arrived and were welcomed with our first drink. We started the tour, which was great and got three more beers. Everyone there is so friendly and the atmosphere is great. You can relax on some sofas and even play pool. The beer selection is good, with some coming straight from the kegs. We ended up having 4 beer samples on the tour (all 1/3 pints!!) and stayed for two more after that. I couldn’t say a bad thing about any of the beers we tried. They only sell the beer in 1/2 pints at a very good price. We absolutely love this place and can’t believe we never knew about it. I will say it gets very busy on a Saturday afternoon!!

Great beer choice and nice atmosphere

Lovely beer. Knowledgeable, friendly staff. Can't fault it. Definitely Worth a visit if in the Jewellery quarter

A chilled place with great choice of ales and music. Lovely warm sunny day so took advantage of the outdoor seating

Amazing tap room with the best beer in Birmingham, highly recommend the ice cream pale ale !
S. L.
Great place - all the beers on tap are excellent there is nothing I dislike about this place - don't be daunted by the walk - it's worth it and there are plenty of other pubs to visit as part of a walk up to this part of town. Highly recommended

Great beer and an awesome atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable.
Plus it's only a 3 minute walk from the tram station.

Visited with my sis to taste some of their creations. Flavour wise, their beers and ales are hands down some of the best in Brum - I've visited quite a few breweries.
Atmosphere wise - it's a little lackluster. Staff seemed as Friendly as they needed to be. Heard them speaking about a few of their regular customers after they left which was a bit immature and off putting.
Prefer Dig Brew for friendliness and atmosphere although Burning Souls drinks have a bit more depth and flavour.

Tasty beers, great people. What more do you need to know?

Excellent! 5* We went here on a stag doo for the Brewery tour to find that it had been cancelled, however Quinn stepped up and filled in with an excellent adhoc tour explaining everything he knows about craft beer...which is alot! Would recommend. Excellent beer. 🍻👌

Friendly atmosphere, ales are brewed on site. Guided tour offered free of charge. Pool table to play for free while relaxing.

The Burning Soul tap house is a great place to visit to try some of their own craft ales (there were 12 keg ales and one hand pump available on the day of my visit).
It's a very relaxed atmosphere, and the bar staff/ brewers really know their brews and can give good advice on what to try (and them try next ... )

I don't even drink but I enjoyed the rustic place; it is such a laidback but feel-good place. I wish they'd change their drinking glasses though, the formulae looked like gobbledygook; questionable integrity on those formulae. There are some good board games available and a pool table (I didn't pay much attention to that, not my thing). A friend has said one may book some sort of tour as one can see the massive barrels from which the beer is drawn. The place is not far from St Paul's tram stop. I would be very easily convinced to go there again.

Visited on the way back from the Camera Beer Festival to sample some more Burning Soul Beer. Great Brewery and much needed craft beer for Birmingham which seems to be lacking in the city centre other than the big chains like Brewdog and Purecraft. Obviously its a brewery in a warehouse so the venue is what it is! But beers great, staff well knowledgeable on their beers and very friendly and it has a pool table.

Spent an amazing few hours at Burning Soul yesterday. Fantastic brewery with great beer and a friendly welcome. Chris delivered a brilliant tour/talk punctuated with four different IPA's. These guys really know their stuff and brew some impressive (and potent) beverages. Hazy IPA is the jewel in the crown for me with the coconut porter a close second. Can't wait to go back!

Quaint jewel of Birmingham. I was lured here by the sound of an acoustic rendition of wonderwall, it caught my attention since it's not something you here often in an industrial estate. A charming bar/brewery with live music and a great variety of people

Wonderful brewery and staff 👍

This is a great little brewery hidden away in the JQ. The selection of craft beers is great and the atmosphere relaxed. Board games can be played and there was a beer tasting going on when we visited. Unfortunately, the bar maid was not very knowledgable about the beers and ciders we asked about and we just got a ‚I don’t really know about that‘. Generally, the place could do with a little tender love and care especially in regards to the outside seating. Has a little bit of a garagey feel too it at the moment.
S. A.
Don't be put off by the exterior as once inside the welcome was excellent and the beer even better. Good luck guys and we look forward to seeing your beers around town - potentially the finest new brewery since Fixed Wheel.

First time visting but some really good beers

Great place to have stunnig glass of fresh beer. I Totally recommend the place.

Nice brewery taproom with a lot of beers on draft (10ish). Big basket of veggie samosas that you can eat (donate what you want). There’s also a pool table and seats in and outside. A bit out of the way but definitely worth the trip.

Was brought here by some friends and this place made my day, week and month. You'll hear the term 'unique' a lot, this place actually deserves the term. Beer was sumptuous and the atmosphere amazing, can't wait to visit again. Coconut Porter, bliss! And please continue with Colab!!

Just come back from the tour, wonderful beer and two guys who deserve success in there venture. Really enjoyed my father's day belated gift. My son drove back so I had to drink the beer 😅

Great little tour/chat that includes 4 1/3 measures of some of the current brews and a laid back vibe but still very knowledgeable and passionate about the craft.

What a lovely tap room. So welcoming and a lovely place to start our Saturday crawl in Birmingham.
Lovely range of beers on offer (my starting combo was a session IPA, stout then saison) with more for those wanting more.
Thanks so much to Chris for having us down, we could have easily spent longer
