Authentic American-style diner that is clearly very popular. When my partner and I visited yesterday (Saturday), we were told by staff upon arrival that there would be up to a 20 minute wait for a table, which gave us time to browse the delights of Selfridges (the location of the diner). After about 15 minutes, my partner received a message on her phone informing us that a table was now free. When we arrived, we were seated in an end booth that had protective screens up, so we felt very safe. I could tell almost as soon as our order arrived why Ed's is such a popular place to eat, as the deluxe milkshake I had chosen was extremely tasty, and the chicken burger was by far the best I have ever tasted. We would have eaten dessert too, had we not been so full from our main course! The servers were friendly and accommodating to our needs, so much so that I wanted to leave a substantial tip but unfortunately had no cash on me. I will leave a bigger tip the next time I dine there, which is bound to be very soon. Thanks, Ed's Easy Diner!

I’m a regular customer at Ed’s and honestly this place never fails to disappoint. Even when it gets busy the service is amazing and the staff are so friendly (Fillip & Herman). There’s a new menu out so be sure to try it out! We got 1kg of bbq wings and wow they were very filling! My regular order is always the Ed’s cheesy burger, my favourite! The mocha milkshake is a must when coming here! It’s soo good I usually just get one to take out now and then! For dessert I always get the warm brownie, the best brownie from Ed’s! Always recommend this place to friends and family, I’ve been to a few Ed’s around Birmingham and In London, this one is definitely the best! Thank you!!!

Really enjoyed our meal at Eds in Selfridges. Passed by while shopping on Saturday and decided to stop for something to eat. Our burgers were delicious and the milkshake I had was the best i've every tried, a lotus biscoff flavour shake!! Incredible! Service from the waitress was so friendly and she was helpful as we had never eaten at an Eds Diner previously. Must say I'll definitely be coming back and eating here again.

Haven't eaten at this branch before and came in with my family for lunch on a Saturday and I cannot rave about the food enough. We ordered the 1KG of BBQ wings and they are some of the best I've ever eaten! The burgers were all delicious and we even went for desserts, as recommended by our waitress. All the staff we spoke to were lovely and helpful. Can't recommend this place enough.

Good atmosphere but then a long delay before my order was taken, and a further, unusually long delay before my drink was delivered. After yet more time, my main course of burger and chips were brought over. High prices compared to places like Burger King but I was lucky to get 50% off with Gourmet Card. Everything tasted fine but I can't say the food was superior to the major chain burger places. Free refills on soft drinks. The cheesecake was good.

This place does great burgers. And great hotdogs. And a few other things (there's a section of the menu for salads). But it's basically all about the burgers and the extras... And they get pricy if you keep going; £4 for the upgrade, plus further extras that are £3 more and then drinks on top. Also, this place does real onion rings, yay.

Very cute American inspired diner space in Grand Central. Surprisingly atmospheric with the American music and bright red booths. Free refills on the soft drinks, and they run some good breakfast deals. We tried the normal cheeseburger, and the bacon blues burger, which were both delicious!

Love Ed's. I'm coeliac and have to say gluten free. They have an amazing gluten free menu, and are the only chain burger restaurant where coeliacs can have chips - for this reason, my go to burger place. And their shakes are great!

My favourite place to eat out by far. The best burgers and chicken burgers by far, easily better than the tasteless ones five guys sell! And can’t even compare to macdonalds, these are made to order real burgers, and the fries and lovely too, nice and crisp on the outside and soft in the middle. The milkshakes are superb too. It’s not as cheap as somewhere like macdonalds, but then the quality of the food is way higher so I don’t mind paying extra for it. Plus the service is very good and staff are friendly too, waiting times are ok too. If you like burgers then you HAVE to try Ed’s Diner

Nice food, but just your average burger joint. My food didn't wow me, milkshakes are super tasty. My waiter was super friendly and, but we had to ask to be served and had to ask for the bill as opposed to them asking if we were ready to order or if wanted the bill.

It gives really good food and drinks but it's super small so not much space to sit and enjoy that lovely food or drink you just bought at quite a high price. And yes, that's my second point. It expensive. £5 for a cup of milkshake. Now that's overpriced. Trust me. But it's absolutely alright for one time occasions if you don't mind consuming what you bought somewhere else.

It's great. The food is great, service is good, waiting can be a pain but they have a system of paging you with in the area so you can browse while waiting for your table. I tend to have the burgers which are a change from most other places that sell burgers, I know cause I only eat burgers when out. Plenty of food. Reasonably priced as well I think.

I wanted to recommend some typical English breakfast and he recommend me very good and he also recommend it to me the best way to the airport and always with good mood and smile. During busy days dont expect to get a table instantly and booking ahead isnt an option so it may be worth booking a seat and having a wonder around the shops until it's ready. The milkshakes are a great selling point and well worth a visit for them alone.

Friendly staff ,varied menu. Food came fairly quickly well and was followed up by being asked if everything was ok. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is it can be a bit pricy as you need to order the ed's plate with it which gives you fries etc with your burger if you want that.

Tried the breakfast menu. Ordered veggie kids meal and waiter told me I cannot have a free drink with it even though its listed on the menu. Okay. I ordered myself a drink. Love this place. As a vegetarian coeliac, I feel like I can actually eat without feeling like everyone is enjoying their food, and I'm just making do. I had a halloumi burger, lattice fries which I have never found anywhere else that does them gluten free, and the gf brownie and peanut butter sundae. Yum yum. 3rd visit for me and will definitely return. They even bring your food out separately so it doesn't get cross contaminated. Recommended. My son eats normal and eats meat and really enjoyed his food too!!

Very pleasant service from this restaurant despite a busy service so it was much appreciated. However, the Halloumi burger that you are currently doing does not work with the lemon and pepper dressing, it just made the burger all wet and mushy.
