Not sure that 10 minuets qualifies as ‘fast food’ but hey. The sweet potato curry is very good! Full of flavour and warmth and highly recommended. Surprising that it seems to have good ingredients too.

Staff were quite busy when I visited at around 5pm but the young lady on the till was very polite. I waited around 5 minutes for food maximum. But most importantly.. the food is delicious. In particularly the vegan burger was incredible. It put McDonald's McPlant to shame! It truly was delicious. I'll be having these on a regular now I've found them. See you again soon Leon. 😁👍🏼

Never too busy when I've been here there always seats available (I don't come here that often though so might be wrong!) This place might now hold some sentimental value 😂..because it was absolutely freezing and l finally was served my first hot cocoa of the day here before travelling. It was expensive, yes but can't complain because it was well made and frothy and the chunky brownies was delightful. Will come by again because l like that they are health conscious too and well situated. 🌿 😋 🍫

Love this place. Always try and visit Leon if I'm catching the train and grab brunch on the go. Good selection of food but service can be slow at peak times. They provide jug of water with mint leaves near the counter whereby customers can self serve which is a great idea.

If you are vegan, veggie or gluten free this the place to go a nice salad . Bit cold so I had a plant burger on gluten free bread. Had to dispose of one side of roll as it was a bit too thick to eat comfortable. It could have done with a little more tamarind sauce as the whole thing a little. Still there is a lot of choice.

Over priced station food. Looks posher than it tastes but ok for a random munch.

Working in Grand Central there are so many places I can choose to eat however time and time again I go to LEON at Birmingham New Street train station. The food is always delicious and freshly made. The staff are always friendly especially Mercedes. My favourite meal is Lentil Masala😋

Always fast and friendly service from all the staff at Leon Grand Central. Have never waited more than 5 mins for breakfast (even quicker with online ordering and coffee subscription, which is so worth it). The lattes here are so much creamier and tastier than the other coffee shops at new street, will never go anywhere else on my morning commute :)

I love the coffee and decor here. Staff are friendly, but could be a bit more outgoing with the customers. I usually feel rushed when trying to order. Today the coffee machine was being cleaned so what I actually went in for I couldn't have. Had to have a filter coffee instead. I give it 4 stats though because when the coffee machine is working it's fabulous coffee! Ha

After a long way from Amsterdam, our grumbling stomachs led us to Leon, knowing absolutely nothing about the place. The service was amazing, the food was delicious, and the environment was comfortable and beautiful. I have already reviewed them on their website, but for those who read these reviews, Leon's the place to go in if you're looking for a delicious vegan/veggie meal on the go!

Very fast and good quality food. One of the main draws for me is the environmental impact of the chain. The founder of Leon also created the sustainable restaurant association and all good is sustainably sourced (compromises have been made, but justified on their website). Other than that, the staff are extremely friendly and create an enjoyable experience.

I like Leon the selection of food means something for everybody and good healthy options. Fantastic service, free WiFi and power. Best of all is the website displaying menu and nutritional info with full breakdown per serving meaning as a diabetic able to count the carbs very easy. Had a chicken Kale Salad which hadn't had before and was very nice. If only all restaurants were like this 🤔

Surprisingly good from the point of view of a vegetarian who has issues with wheat gluten and dairy - I had the falafel box, but there was a great looking set of alternative choices. I enjoy the food when I go. My complaint would be that when I ordered a passionfruit tea I was given flavoured water. By the time I realised less than 5 mins later I went back with my receipt and was told they were out of what I had ordered. Yet they failed to tell me this and give me the option or not or having something else. The staff were unapologetic and seemed rather condescending.

Wow, what a find! Finally found a fast food place for vegetarians! Not just for us veggies either! Just healthy fast food! It was exceptional! The dips were amazing, I had haloumi wrap which was just divine. Couldn't be happier... Well I could- if there were more Leon restaurants! Especially as I don't have one where I live! Love leon and the grand central branch is no exception, staff are friendly food is decent for vegetarian and vegans plus a decent choice menu for meat eaters too. These location is ideal as it's near the front main entrance of the station and seating is good and spaced out well.

New Leon restaurant in the new Grand Central. Is a great restaurant with a great selection of unusual burgers, wraps and salads. Personal favourite is the fish finger burger. Also the wraps are amazing. Prices are a little pricey but quality of food is good so worth it. You can access it from concourse side or the yellow lounge in new street. I'd advise a side of chips with your wrap as there amazing!

I'd give this place more than 5 stars if I could! I regularly nip in between my connecting trains on my commute to work and get a Flat White. Now, I drink a lot of Flat Whites and this is no question one of the best i've had, not just in Birmingham but anywhere! At £2.50 (currently) its actually cheaper than the likes of Starbucks and so much better. I've tried a lot of different options from their menu and they were all delicious, recently tried the Sweet Potato and Falafel Wrap and I can't recommend it enough. Grab yourself a stamp card, every 3 stamps you get a free drink, every 6 a free treat and get 9 and get a free meal. Yeah, that's right - 3 rewards in one. The food is quite pricey, but probably on par with a lunch in Birmingham and everything tastes good. In the words of my girlfriend, "it actually looks like real food". Staff here are lovely, like really lovely. Just go will you? :)

This is my go to place when in Birmingham, it has amazing healthy food and best of all its fast! You can see on their boards if any of their meals contain gluten or dairy.Their flourless cookies are the best cookies I've ever tasted too.

The store manager tonight went above and beyond taking care of our forgotten Deliveroo order! He took the time when the food had been sitting there for a while to look up our hotel number and call our room to ask if we had gotten our food. Then he personally called Deliveroo to determine the issue and hopefully get another driver to pick it up. He called us back to let us know that they were sending another driver and then re-made our food so it would be fresh! Meanwhile, Deliveroo has not contacted us once. As for the food, while I haven't gotten mine yet tonight, I'm sure it will be just as good as the other LEON locations I have tried. It's a wonderful shop when you are on the go and really wanting something healthy and delicious. Yes, it is more expensive than traditional fast food, but I say for the freshness it is worth the price.

I've an awful lot of love for LEON. On paper "chicken and rice" sounds quite simple, and although it's the staple of LEON, the way it's prepared and served up is fantastic. If you're looking for delicious and nutritious food and you're in a rush, come here. If you fancy something a bit naughtier - have their Nuggets. Deliciously cooked, juicy chicken - they taste incredible on their own, though I do recommend the Korean Mayo (it's mouthwatering). Their staff are incredibly happy and delightful to be served by, (even when you know they are rushed off their feet), an attitude that goes a long way when you've had a hard day or distressing commute. My only watch out is the pricing of the chicken Caesar - there are two prices, one to eat in, one to take away. Save yourself a quid and get it to take away, you won't lose anything food wise!
