Reviews of Marco Pierre White Steakhouse, Bar & Grill Birmingham

A wonderfully designed place that makes you feel special. All staff members are smiling and interested. There are places to sit inside and outside the place and it has a great view from everywhere. The service is very fast, the food is both delicious and very fresh. A quality establishment that you can choose for a private business meeting, family celebration or afternoon tea.
There are many parking spaces where you can park on the street for those who travel by car. Parking costs £1.5 per hour and is free on weekends.

Came here for a drink and to take in the view, following a recommendation from a friend.
We got straight in with no waiting, it was very quiet in the bar, but the restaurant was getting quite busy, with people coming in for afternoon tea.
Picked a cocktail, they were priced between £13-£14.50 each, which didn't think was too bad, for this type of restaurant, so was pleasantly surprised, when the lady behind the bar said that the cocktails were £14.50 each or 2 of the same cocktails for £14.
So instead of 2 cocktails for £29, we got 4 cocktails for £28.
The views from the 25th floor over Birmingham are lovely and looked even better in the sunshine.
Well worth a visit, even, if just for a drink.

This is fine dining with a view. Food was fantastic and full of flavour. Service was also brilliant (Thank you Caitlin). The wine was excellent. The views from the 25th floor across the city were delightful. This all comes at a price of course but if you are able to treat yourself and indulge, then is is a great way to spend a few hours.

Went for a private dinner in their function room. Welcomed warmly. Beautiful views from the top floor. All tables were served at the same time. Food was warm but not as hot as I would’ve liked. Overall nice atmosphere. Would certainly return

Afternoon tea here today, and was extremely excited to try.
Unfortunately the reality wasn't quite the expectation. Main issue is the staff totally letting the experience down.
We had to queue for 20 mins to be seated. It was very busy (lots of available tables though), and only one member of staff greeting and seating.
Once seated, we waited a further 10 mins for the waitress to attend our table for initial drink orders etc. The waitress was clearly very rushed and busy, meaning she was not attentive to the table at all.
Food arrived in a decent time, and was all very fresh and tasty. The cakes were very good, and the scones and sandwiches were standard but pleasant.
We had to chase our tea, as it was not brought to us. Then realised there were no teaspoons, and could not get the waitresses attention.
Another waiter dropped a tower of afternoon tea near us, and whilst the smashed plates were picked up, the food and milk were not cleared up.
The atmosphere is pleasant. I'd recommend a window seat, as the view is stunning. Tables are appropriately spaced out, and furniture is comfortable.
My biggest advice would be to use a groupon voucher. I can't help but think I would have been more disappointed if I paid full price.

Took a while for us to actually get through and book a table (4 calls over a two hour period). Tables were nicely presented and the view was nice. I felt so overdressed, there were a few people in tracksuits, I assumed there was a dress code but im obviously wrong. I was given a gift voucher for Christmas and saw that mains were 50% off during January so thought, great!
I confirmed this with the server before ordering. The server was polite for the most part. Starters were tasty and a great set up for the main. Being a steakhouse, we ordered a steak medium rare and it was well done but I didnt return as I thought they were 50% off so let it slide. Dessert was huge, I couldn't finish it and was okay. When the bill came we saw that it wasn't 50% off mains at all, when I queried this, the server said it was because we used a gift voucher. I understand that you can't use offers with other offers but surely a gift card is treated as cash? Disgruntled, we paid and left. Just didn't seem fair after we had asked beforehand. I've had better steaks at other places which weren't as expensive. Unfortunately I have another voucher for this place which i will probably give to someone else. Wouldn't go back here in a rush. The cocktails were quite nice but I'd expect that at £13.50 each.

Had a lovely meal here. Was very busy but the staff took time to make you feel welcome. Views are fantastic on a sunny day so that with the quality of food and service means a re-visit for me :)

Fantastic food, atmosphere and staff. Really enjoyed myself today. If i had one comment that would ve to ensure the house rules are honoured with regards to dress code. A gentleman was wearing a beanie hat, a lady was wearing trainers and an entire table was dressed in tracksuits. I did notice you seated them all in the corner so it suggests you were aware. Very happy apart from that.
