Reviews of Original Patty Men

Hands down the best burgers in Birmingham by miles! I highly recommend the vegan one, simply stunning. And the brownie was delicious!
K. O.
DELICIOUS! Best burgers I’ve eaten in awhile. So thick and juicy. Cooked to perfection. Their dessert was so good as well! Customer service was superb. Place can be a bit hard to locate.
10/10 🍔

Really enjoyed this place, great atmosphere and interesting venue. Food was ok, the menu seemed to lack creativity though, noting 'out there' or unusual to make it exciting. For a place that only does burgers I kind of expected an interesting selection, the Donna burger was good, sauce was nice, the wings were way too salty for me though, they needed more flavour and spice and less salt. Would probs stop in if I was passing on a Tuesday afternoon but don't think I'd make it a Saturday night treat again. That said, the place the company and the atmosphere made it a good night.
J. A.
Bangin burgers and a decent selection of beers. I like the choice of chips and sauces. There's also vegan options and chicken in case you don't fancy the beef but I would say, if you've made the effort to come then get the beef....it's good....real good. Something to note: the chip portions are huge, one between two might well suffice but equally one to yourself is pretty satisfying.

My go-to burger place in Birmingham. I’ve been a number of times and have never been disappointed. Wing Wednesday is also a must - their wings are as good as their burgers. The service is always very good too. It’s often busy but it’s always worth the wait - their bar next door is good for a drink while you wait for your table.
N.
Busy & compact place with a nice atmosphere & basic but funky interior with an industrial feel. Good set up with having a bar next door where you can have a drink if you need to wait for your table. Friendly staff who explain how it all works, specials board etc. Food was good (served on metal trays…the paper lining the trays and wrapping the burgers was a nice touch) especially the loaded fries. The buffalo wings were excessively salty though, but was our first time there so not sure if this was usual. Impressed by the provision of two napkins - much needed for sticky fingers with having the wings 😂. Multi-level entrance with stairs and decking area, so watch your step. Card payment only. Would go again!

The Burger was delicious, and I could definitely recommend going.
I had the Alabama Slammer it's made from thigh pieces rather than breast so it's so much juicier and easier to eat.
The customer service is top notch and the atmosphere is good.
m. b.
Absolutely brilliant, the food and drink was perfect. I had the double bacon cheese burger and the taste was amazing. Chicken wings are a must too, crispy and very tasty. This has to be the best place in town for burgers. Try it you won't be disappointed.
L. G.
We visited on a Saturday just after lunch rush and we had no issues finding a table. Absolutely loved the semi industrial interior and the atmosphere was very chilled out.
The staff were super attentive and quick with drinks orders. I fully recommend the Siren sour raddler, absolutely out this world!
The food is gourmet, and the flavours of everything we ordered was explosive! The corn ribs were very good and so were the nuggz. Portion sizes were definitely on point too.
Highly recommended taking a visit, location wise it's not to far out the city center either and super reasonably priced for the quality of the food as you can tell its all prepared fresh.
Will definitely be making a visit in the near future again.

Art Deco design in a railway arch with great burgers and fantastic staff. For once the burgers are not overkill in their size and are simply very tasty. It's good value too.
A.
Good hamburger, bread could be better from my point of view. Great service and people very kind.
R. W.
We loved this place! The vegan tofu burger was delicious! My partner had the pineapple express which he said was one of the best burgers he's ever had. The prices are really reasonable, they have a good selection of drinks too. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.
A. A.
I will give their burger a 4 but would give their fries 5/5 .. friendly staff.
Had to wait 40 mins for a table for 2 on Saturday afternoon , which j think was worth it
S. J.
Incredible food, good selection of beers, cocktails and soft drinks. Indoor and outdoor seating. Staff friendly and helpful. Great bar next door, Kilder, for carrying on the fun.
D. C.
Just been and bought an Alabama Slammer. Awesome is an understatement to be perfectly honest. I feel violated by the Awesomeness of this burger so much that I'm going back tomorrow for some more. Way way better than 5 Guys. If you don't go and check this place out then you are neglecting your taste buds.
F. C.
Legendary burger, fries, nuggets. Great atmosphere. Prices on point: 12-16 pounds per person. No reservations.
Gotta recommend!!!
S. A.
Simple, uncomplicated food that is tasty and satisfying. Attentive staff with quick service. Total mix of people from all walks of life with a good atmosphere.
Would definitely come back and enjoy this once again.
K. D.
Probably the best place to get a burger. Service is good, burgers are amazing and prices are reasonable. Definitely worth going to.
P. M.
Gorgeous, had the lamb kebab burger special🍔😍😋
l. d.
have been to both locations many many times and they are always accommodating to lone dining. food is almost always great, had a few duds in the past but always redeems itself on the next visit. good beer always available in digbeth too… british oak less so but that is out of their control.
F. C.

Soooo good! Massive portion sizes and great service too

Really enjoyed our first time last week, top burger and the loaded fries were banging.
L.
Really rate this place - great atmosphere, nice and simple menu that caters widely (weirdly enough! But they pulled it off).
Prices are reasonable considering the location. All in all a nice acompanyment to an evening out in Digbeth.
Grab some merch too, it's pretty cool!
T. M.
Amazing service location food choices.
Great atmosphere and delicious burgers.
Highly recommended and have been multiple times 😁

Another (hidden) gem...
If you find yourself in Birmingham I can highly recommend a visit to O.P.M...
Friendly staff, tasty food, good service and a good price.
I visited on a Friday lunch time and although there were a number of tables and the food (from what I could see) was cooked fresh to order, I only had to wait 15 minutes.
I went for one of the specials (from the black board) "Hey McLovin" (burger), with a side of ODB fries and a can of cream soda. All for only £13:00 👍
So treat yourself and dine happy ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
n.
Seated within a minute and was presented with a menu. The beef burger was cooked to perfection and the fries with coleslaw was extra crispy. Had a lovely atmosphere with a unique style under a bridge. Great vibe with smily waiters all around.
Definitely A place to come if your looking for a meaty juicy missy burger.
M. M.
After a day of shopping I found this little gem after searching for best places to eat in Birmingham. I was not disappointed at all....lovely cool chilled hip location and atmosphere....amazing burger...amazing wings and fantastic service! Well worth a visit if u like your burgers and wings!
G.
So delicious, didn’t feel overly bloated after which is great.
A. D.
Absolutely banging! Really tasty beef which was perfectly pink and juicy. The chicken nuggets were some lovely succulent bits of thigh in a great sauce. Amazing selection of beers too. The staff were spot on and the venue was great. Thanks OPM!
A. F.
The venue is fitted out as an industrial unit under a railway arch. It looks good because that's what it is. Burgers, sides and deserts are tasty with a flavour of deep south cuisine. Good selection of drinks. Friendly staff and reasonable prices.
T. M.

A. H.
Very good food, 2 veggie options were fantastic. Super casual / quick snack venue. Would have been 5 stars but table was filthy when we sat down. A fish option would be a great idea too. 👍
p. m.
Small burger restaurant tucked away in the railway arches next to Moor St. station. Great burgers, chips and beer. This is not a 'Man vs Food' burger as big as your head place. The food is tasty, excellent quality and you are left planning when you'll come next. Well worth a visit.
P. M.
Gorgeous, had the lamb kebab burger special🍔😍😋
K.
What an amazing find. Met a friend from Birmingham there, the area did make me wonder what kind of place we were going to, once inside the place is cosy, good selection of food and drinks and all very good quality.
Definitely recommend.
D. d. R. H.
Staff was very friendly and the chicken thigh meat nuggets excellent. Surprising for a place that doesn't necessarily specialise in battered food. Would recommend.
S. W.
This place is brilliant. Not easy to find, but great atmosphere, friendly staff and great burgers (you have to get the chicken nuggets too...). There are also vegan options. Would definitely recommend a visit.
J. L.
An okay experience.
Fries were very salty with their special seasoning, the special “tandoori fries” were disappointing, and the brioche buns were kinda meh.
The fried chicken in the Alabama Slammer was cooked to perfection so I’ll give them that.
Cost £27 for two burgers, two fries and two soft drinks, and I didn’t feel full after.
S. J.
Good food quick service think students use it loads it's in a railway arch like being in eastenders with trains running above
m.
Maybe the fourth or fifth time we've been, good service, great restaurant just outside Brum centre but still easy to get to. Best burgers I've ever had, small menu but everything is absolutely bang on. The Digbeth Steamer served in a glazed doughnut was epic.
K. R.
The go to destination for your filthy burger fix, fantastic food, great beer, cozy space, staff are courteous and helpful. Be aware, this place is busy even on a relatively quiet day, but believe me it's worth the wait!
The street food game changer in Birmingham? Very likely, don't just take my word for it.
M. H.
Amazing food, burgers tend to be generally medium rare, probably the best burger place in Birmingham I wish I could give it 6 stars. The chicken nuggs are perfect and slightly different to normal nuggets. The fries however aren't anything too special but are very nice as well. Even Drake came here when he went on tour. Only thing that could make it better was if there was a student discount. The food in the picture cost around £20 total but it's definitely worth it.
D. H.
Food was lovely, had a burger which was really tasty. Great selection of food and drink. No complaints at all
a. d.
The burgers are quite good, though I would have expected more choice. Price are very reasonable. I ordered a pineapple express and would have loved to taste the pineapple. But there was no pineapple in there, just pineapple (?) flavour hot sauce. So nice tasting, but not what I wanted.
What did not help was that my chips arrives cold and that both mine and my friend's bun was stone cold. Staff very happily replaced it.
So good service, good value for money but some tweaking required in the kitchen. I guess I will go back and give it another chance :)
G. Y.
I've been a fan since I first tasted their burger's served from a van at the Digbeth Diners Club. Also my first introduction to the brioche bun :-)
Fortunately for me, it being Father's Day, my wonderful kids treated me. Not a lot more to say that hasn't already been said, apart from loved the recommendation for the Dark Arts Surreal Stout.
M. W.
Simply outstanding. Having tasted burgers all over the world it is so great to have tasted one of the best in Birmingham. Great atmosphere and service and priced to please. The range of drinks on offer is also excellent. I will continue to visit OPM forever.
G. N.
Seasonal special the "Jingle all the way" was absolutely gorgeous. Price tag may not be for all as it was £9 but I found it value for money. The OBD fries with slaw were also amazing. Great little setting and will definitely go again.
M. L.
If burgers are what you're after, make a beeline for this place. Very trendy, very busy on the early Friday evening I went. By the time I left at 7.30 there was a long queue. They do not accept reservations.
In my opinion there were too few wait staff to cope. So service was a bit on the slow side. Service was very friendly and competent though.
The burgers are the best I've had in the UK.
A. P.
Best burgers in Birmingham! The ODB fries are something else. A little of the beaten track but only a 2 minute walk from the Bullring. Prepare for a wait if you're going peak times. But worth it!
T. L.
Absolutely lovely. Best burger I think I've ever had. Really friendly staff and the chicken nuggets were absolutely spot on. The batter was so crispy and super tasty 👍
J. I.
Excellent burgers and service
S. M.
My girlfriend and I went on a Sunday afternoon. Nice quiet setting, in between city centre and Digbeth. No reservation required and seated straight away. Service was quick and staff were very friendly. Ordered two burgers (Alabama Slammer Chicken Burger and Pineapple Express Beef Burger) and two sides of fries (O.D.B.and Alabama). Food was served in good time and it tasted amazing. Nice and freshly cooked. Talked about it for hours afterwards; one of the best burger restaurants we've tried. Definitely going again and would happily recommend O.P.M. to anyone heading to Birmingham.
J. W.
One of the two best beef burger restaurants in Birmingham. Confirmed by the always full restaurant.
The beef burgers are always moist and perfectly cooked, with a choice of toppings that perfectly suit.
And even better...Wednesdays are Wing Wednesday!
If you ever see them out and about in the OPM wagon, always a good shout to see what special they’ve got on.
A. K.
Wow. Best burgers I have eaten for a while! The place is quite hidden but once you find it you will be in for a burger treat. I can recommend the Christmas burger. It was divine ;).
D. D.
Hidden away on side street this place is worth finding, for burger lovers it’s is one best I’ve eaten at on par with America burgers, great menu reasonable prices but they do get busy so be prepared to queue
H. W.
Incredible burger restaurant and bar off the beaten track but in close proximity to The Bullring and Birmingham New Street and Moor Street. Persevere on the walk through the surrounding dross for probably the best burger you’ll taste in Birmingham.
S. P.
Burgers.
Without competition in Birmingham.
This is the burger establishment. They open Thursday through Sunday and often sell out early afternoon Sunday. When they guested at the plough Harborne the pub barely handled the capacity.
This is a proper sloppy burger. OPM are not just unashamedly purveyors of filth - they revel in it.
Forget five guys, forget byrons, forget the meat shack. These guys serve messy burgers. A double patty represents a fight, and in someways still feels an achievement despite the glutonny that you cannot fail to acknowledge.
If you come in a group, expect to wait to be seated, there may be others waiting before you. That though, is not a problem, It's simply a hallmark of quality.
Just the act of writing this review makes me want one. Mmmmmmmm Burgers.....
N. S.
Really good burger, even better fries (the ones with the spice/rub on are all you need!). Will definitely go again.
That said... still doesn’t beat Crafty in Leicester. Their burgers are still no.1 🏆
a. m.
Easily one of the best burger places ever! The food was amazing, lovely staff, and a great selection of Siren beers
J. A.
Very tasty burgers, cool decor, fast service. It ticks every box of what a cool new burger place must be. And then next door is the excellent kilder bar for a drink afterwards.
L. C.
Great food in a cool joint!
C.
Not one to leave reviews, but simply had to after trying this place for the first time. The burger was great, the fries were incredible and the dessert was fantastic.
Highly recommend.
A. H.
I had never been before but I definitely will be going back! The exterior and interior are stunning, it’s a real hidden gem!
The food was delicious, wasn’t a long wait to get the burgers, staff were lovely and welcoming.
The original patty men is just all round an amazing place to go.
K. J.
Amazing burgers in an area which is perfect for craft beer lovers. The burgers amazing! Any burger lover should 100% give OPM a visit! Also try their chicken nuggz and loaded fries are awesome! They have a good selection of craft beers on tap and in cans/bottles and Kilder bar is right next door to grab a beer before and/or after. It is a bit away from the city center but worth the trip. Also if you do like beer head further into digbeth once you've travelled to OPM for even more great craft beer!
K. S.
Best Burger I’ve tried in Birmingham for sure, but not the best I’ve ever had. Service was friendly, next door to a gaming spot if your interested. Recommend
H. G.
Absolutely gorgeous food, with unique and memorable flavours and an inviting atmosphere. Great staff as well
J. G. (. G.
If you love burgers and you're in Birmingham, don't miss out on this place! Trust me, you'll regret it if you do...
A.
Food was amazing and the atmosphere was great. Had to wait for a table but with a bar next door and a text service/call when your table is ready. Definitely recommend.
T. F. F. U.
Absolutely exceptional as always! Pics are from two different times but both as sexual as each other! I'd 100% recommend going to get wet up on a OPM all day!
N. L. C.
Don't be put off by the foreboding trek down a dark alleyway under a train platform. The burgers here are fantastic! Large, succulent, perfectly grilled patties are the star of the show. The Pineapple Express was delicious but I would have swapped the hot peppers for a slice of fresh pineapple. Hubby enjoyed the Cheesy-E: a gourmet version of the classic MacDonald's cheeseburger, pickles and all. We loved the ODB fries, which were really crisp, seasoned perfectly and covered in a fresh and light coleslaw. Was pleased to see a fair trade UK-made cola on offer as well. Good value, great service and well worth the weight if there's a line out the door.
A. S.
Excellent burger. Had Big Vern's Crispy Ring. A bacon burger with a donut in place of a bun.
Is only a small place so be prepared to wait. But it's worth it.
B. S.
Sorry guys, didn't have time to take a photo of my 'Everyday I'm Trufflin' burger with Rosemary Salted Fries w/ crispy onion and baconnaise. It looked so good I instantly tucked in! I'm a regular at OPM but never had a meal below outstanding qualityl. The burgers are excellent with a perfect ratio of burger/garnish/sauce. Prices are fair and the portions are decent. Always worth a look at the specials board as they change regularly and are never disappointing. Good selection of craft beers with local and national breweries represented. If there's one place to go in Birmingham for a burger this is it. You will not be disappointed! 5* all day every day.
R. S.
The member of staff who served me recommended one of the specials. So I ordered it, and really enjoyed it.
K. S.
Decent! Not the best burger I've ever had, but really great! Nice service, staff are helpful and friendly explaining beers and recommending food. Cool location and atmosphere.
J. D.
Absolutely incredible burgers, spiced fries were also Good. Quick service as well from ordering to getting food was less than 10 minutes, highly recommend.
Y. k. w. i. a.
Amazing service and great food as usual. Definitely recommended!
A. O.
Great burgers and a fantastic little restaurant, prepare to wait for a table a peak times but it's worth it. The quality of the burgers is top notch and the supporting dishes are also great. They're doing take out now out of a van in Stirchley at the moment due to Covid, the standard hasn't dropped and it's a great option to have.
S. D.
It took me a bit to find but was happy when I did. Bring off the beaten path makes it feel that you're in on a secret. The burger was delicious and the O.D.B. fries rocked. Also really enjoyed the music which helped set the atmosphere.
J. H.
Generally no complaints. I wasn't the biggest fan of my particular burger but the other half loved it. Beers and ales were nice.
E. K.
If only I could have this every single day!!! This was the best burger in Birmingham, the best!!! Many congratulations to the people who work there and have the place!!!
m. v.
Very good burgers only downside place is a bit small.
V. C.
Burgers are ok, there are better like The Meat Shack or Flying Cows but it's the Boneless Nuggz 'n' Harmony that's the standout here....unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be on the menu any more so kinda stuck not ordering from here...funny how the favourites always disappear. I'll come back when they're back on the menu i guess....
M. J.
Very tasty burgers at a not extortionate price, inventive sides which could quite easily count as a meal in themselves and a wide selection of beers.
i.
Nice burgers, excellent wings and generous portion of fries.
A. W.
Best burger in the Midlands hands down. Service and food is always spot on.
A. R.
Fantastic burgers (the Pineapple Express was delicious) and partnered with Siren Craft Beer so you can get a great drink as well
l. b.
This must genuinely be the best burger in town. We fell in love with it 2+ years ago and keep going back ever since. The quality of the food has never dropped and my favourite patty is still as incredible as it was when I first had it. Their ODB fries are also to envy and most places that serve anything like that could only dream they'll get close to the perfect taste that these chefs deliver. We brought a few friends over and they all fell in love with the food here, instantly. Some prefer the burgers some the chicken wings. I'm no big fan of chicken on bone so I never tried the wings but judging by my friends' reactions, they won't disappoint either.
The service has also been great, the guys working there really make you feel welcome and talk to you in a very friendly and open manner, like they've known you for a lifetime. Really, hats off to this place. Highly recommend it.
T. E.
Expensive but good burgers. Defo a nice treat.
G. P.
Delicious burgers, nice and friendly staff, interesting place.
P.
Started out a regular at Digbeth Dining Club and now with their own quirky location in one of the Railway Bridge arches and doing amazing burgers and loaded fries. The Alabama Slammer is delicious, crispy and juicy. Coleslaw is great too. Great place for a casual lunch or dinner.
C. B.
Great place to eat and drink. Welcoming staff, food taste is amazing and craft beers are unique.
R. M.
Super tasty burgers and the ODB fries are amazing. Would highly recommend if in the area!!
S. S.
Oh, wow! This was probably the best burger of my life! Loved the location and the decor, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I knew this place had a great reputation, and it didn't disappoint. Burgers were generous and wonderfully messy, with good flavour and a really nice char to the meat. Next time, I really want to try the topped fries. I'm really, REALLY looking forward to next time.
C. L. (.
Amazing food, well worth the trip to Birmingham!
S. T.
Legendary branding. You wanna pretend that's not important but it really is. Burger was good too. Bar man was a ledge
Y. C.
Best burger i have ever had by a mile! The siracha fries are to die for. We did our work staff do there because it was that good. Only problem is they are not open everyday. And their burgers are limited. If it runs out it runs out so have to go early. But the food is amazing
E.
Very tasty burgers, a nice environment and friendly staff. Great job.
N. T.
Underground and very cool place! Makes you feel in an alternative atmosphere, multicultural and free. Under the train rails it has a nice space and a very good and tasty menu. Fantastic!
S. J.
The love for OPM started at MAC Birmingham in 2015 with the screening of Quentin Tarantino's cult classic Pulp Fiction to the taste of the Big Kahuna.
F.
Doesn’t really live up to the hype unfortunately. Decent burgers, though a little dry. The fries were good, but the slaw was watery and too salty. Paying restaurant prices, but more of a fast food vibe - not impressed by the extensive use of disposable bowls etc. Sadly seated in the bit off to the side, so didn’t experience as good an atmosphere. Not sure I’d return.
K. M.
Thought I'd had great burgers in North America, Patty Men's beat them all...and Siren beers on tap!
P. G.
I've had a lot of burgers in my time. Hands down the tastiest, perfectly cooked, top notch ingredient burger I've ever eaten. Outstanding. Top job guys n girls!!!!
A. j.
A little bit of a wait to get into the restaurant, but great queue system that works through text while you have drinks next door at the craft beer pub. Burgers and fries were excellent and could not fault them! Would definitely come again!
M. L.
Absolutely fantastic! Best burger I've had in Birmingham (if not ever) and chips are awesome as well. The atmosphere is great with good music and a nice industrial vibe. Please, if you like burgers, do yourself a favour: try this place. It's not too expensive for how good it is. Choice is very limited (4 burgers, 3 types of fries) but that's how they can make sure it tastes amazing.
M. D.
So, is it the best burger in Brum? For me, no, it's still Meat Shack, but OPM do make a great burger. Minor irritation was the waiting but once seated the staff were great and the burger full of flavour, if a little on the pink side. Good selection of beers.
E. A.
It's good but not amazing. The burgers and fries definitely look juicy and loaded however the taste can be a bit underwhelming.
This is rated as the top burger place in Birmingham but I am not sure they actually have the best burgers in the city.
The staff were professional but not very friendly and patient.
Overall I'd say it's worth the visit but don't get your hopes too high up from those Instagram worthy photos you see from this place.
P. J.
Firstly - Great Burger. Quality ingredients, lots of flavour and expertly crafted.
Lockdown meant we had to have take away. Through online checking we couldn't be sure OPM was open but took a chance and turned up any way. Window service and orders/payment taken at window. One star off as no phone calls taken by OPM on our day and also had to wait 45 minutes for food ( delivery direct to our car ). We did see lots of Uber cars taking deliveries to homes but we were out of delivery range. Will definitely try the take away service again but our family can't wait for normal service to resume to visit venue. I have been twice before and have enjoyed it's food and atmosphere. Five star food and atmosphere at venue.
M. M.
Amazing fries, tasty burgers, decently priced beers for the centre of town. Highly recommended!
H. F.
Excellent burgers. Everything you want from a good burger and fries meal. Very satisfying and there's enough variety in drinks and desserts also to keep you coming back. The environment is nice but the seats and benches can be a little uncomfortable. Overall, very good and definitely worth trying to make up your own mind. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
A. M.
Very good burgers, very tasty patty. But they cook it to medium to well done if not asked else. Fries are top here, but can be seasoned a bit less perhaps. My second best choice for burgers in Birmingham.
j. d. c.
Best burger I have tried in Birmingham! Juicy, tasty, spicy, and the meat is good quality! Not a sophisticated meal but much better than average for its category. And the topping for the fries is yummy!
E. T.
The doughnuts burger is unbelievable good. Ps I hate ketchup but this place make me change my mind
I don't will give 5 stars because the drinks was ridiculous expensive
J. P.
A little secluded but does some good food with hearty portions.
C. S.
Been coming here for 2 years now - you won’t find a better burger if you’re a meat eater or veggie. The selection is great, they always have specials so you don’t get bored. The mushroom burger is the best I’ve had. If you’re a hip hop lover you will feel at home, they play a lot of interesting music (90s but also current) and I’ve found new albums/artists by asking the staff what’s playing.

Great atmosphere, and not just restricted to beef (unlike the Meat Shack!!).
It's not what you'd call "fine dining" but the food was fantastic, and the portions were excellent value.
I will definitely make this place a regular, and cooked with a real-ale bar next door, it's certainly a place you should try out.
Note: Tables for 4 or more go into a queue (I guess booking may be an option) but the wait isn't too long, and you can venture away from the bar (if you want), as they will contact you via text when your table is ready.
Highly recommended.
E. H.
If you get one thing, get the loaded fries. Burger was really good, well cooked and packed with flavour but the fries were on another level. Drink selection is good, has a nice atmosphere, good for post work food. Definitely one of the best burger places on Birmingham.
B. B.
The best burgers I've ever tasted. Will be returning!!!
C. L.
Just the best burgers in Birmingham! Fab food and great laid-back atmosphere. They also have a good selection of craft beer on, with at least 2-3 on tap. The menu is pretty small. but you're only going to go here if you like burgers. They also don't take bookings, so be prepared to queue at busier times. They're quick on service though, and it is worth the wait!
R. S.
Went here with a friend yesterday who said thats the wings here are a must try!! My friend is vegan and Im a meat eater, so I had the chicken Buffalo wings and my friend had the vegan cauliflower wings which I also tried. Both were amazing and like she said its defiantly a must try. I will definitely be back and also recommend to anyone. Its also a very nice stylish place to go for a few drinks☺😜
M.
Best burger I've eaten in Birmingham! Reasonably priced and the specials board is well worth considering. Helpful staff and they accommodated a large group of us at short notice, though they don't take bookings, not a bad thing, be spontaneous!
B.
Some of the best burgers in Birmingham simple as.
T. A.
My goodness these burgers were good! Burgers so often get over cooked - these were pink and dripping with juices in the middle. The fries with coleslaw on top were excellent. Despite being a massively calorific meal, I wasn’t left feeling horribly sluggish...testament to the fact that I think everything is cooked nice and fresh.
Would have loved a better selection of beers (maybe one or two on tap).
D. S.
Great food and atmosphere. The burgers are well priced and taste amazing. The menu is relatively small, limited to around 5 burgers and the specials (all beef, bar the single chicken thigh special). If you get there at a busy time, you'll probably have to wait, I wouldn't expect the wait to go over 20-30 minutes. The décor is really creative using natural, raw and unconventional materials to create a truly individual restaurant
R. P.
For myself, best burgers in Birmingham. They once had a donut bun burger which blew my mind. Best burger i've tried, weird combo of the sweet bun but was a treat! As for the loaded ODB fries. Cannot fault them at all- generous portions and loaded perfectly.
R. C.
I always order from here off Uber Eats/Deliveroo. The food is exceptional quality, always freshly prepared with high quality ingredients. These guys really know what they are doing. The Vegan burger is an excellent choice for those opting for a meat free meal and the pineapple salsa is freshly made and delicious. Keep up the good work guys and girls.
A. B. C. B.
Best beef burger, fries are also delicious. If you are looking for next level of burgers, definetely give it a TRY!
T. H.
Super good burger. Great selection of drinks!
s. w.
have to say they do one of the best burgers and 100% recommend to anyone who is considering going here.
C. P.
One of the best burgers I have ever had. The patty is cooked medium rare which kept it moist and succulent. There was only two of us so we didn’t have long to wait for a table. Great choice of local beer too!
P. S.
Great job at what they do, really close to mastering the art of the Burger! Plus fries also delicious.
J. R.
I think you'll find the burgers are pretty amazing!
D. P.
Great burgers underneath the arches. A bit out of the way but well worth the journey
T. N. (.
Excellent food and service. Only slight downside is that it's basically always busy because they do it all so well. Prices are reasonable as well (same as five guys essentially) for the quality you get in a city centre. The craft beers they have are also really nice, not something that I was expecting.
T. B.
Been multiple times, the burgers are amazing. Juicy, great flavours, original but not over engineered. Also located next to Kilder, so if you need to wait to get a seat, the wait is very enjoyable
G. N.
Burgers are of really good quality and size. I had the Bacon Cheese and it was amazing. Prices are between £8-10 for burgers only. £3-4 extra for fries. Definitely would recommend.
S. M.
My absolute favourite place for a burger. Possibly (and by that I mean in my opinion...definitively) the best burgers in Birmingham. Set in a lovely venue with a great selection of drinks too. A perfect place to grab a burger with your nearest and dearest.
S. S.
They pride themselves on their burgers here and they do indeed make a good burger and it is worth going to try it out. The decor is nice, service is usually friendly too and there is a nice outside seating area under the railway arch (you can't smoke though - which is good if you want to eat outside but not do a passive cigarette at the same time). There are a few issues with the place. Firstly, go in the evening, and you will have a long standing wait, there is no booking as far as I am aware. Standing waiting to eat for 15 - 20 minutes does take something out of eating experience and reminds me of kids standing outside nandos. Secondly, when you buy your expensive burger, you do only get that burger... wrapped in paper like McDonald's, and on a metal tray like jail. I'm not a fan of either establishment. So if you were expecting chips or any side with that you need to go and order it.
I'm not trying to compare this place unfairly to fast-food as it is really good food, I just sit there thinking it is all coming across as more pretentious then it probably intends to, and you really don't get much for your money.
4* as the food is good.
L. S.
This has to be one of the best burger joints I've been to. The staff are friendly and helpful but don't bother you whilst you're chowing down on your burger delights. The restaurant has a relaxed feel and has comfortable seating. My partner had the 'Digbeth Steamer' which is a glazed doughnut with bacon and a burger patty and I had the 'Porchetta 'bout it' special. We both had the O.D.B fries which are excellent and fresh and compliment the burger. We halved each burger so that we could taste each and both were incredible! If you're in the Birmingham area and want the best burger then please seek O.P.M out. You won't be disappointed!
J. R.
The best burgers, I don’t think anywhere in the world does meat in a bun better!
T. H.
On the train up to Birmingham my son messaged us to say he was taking us for the best burgers we would ever have eaten. Well, I've been around a bit and eaten a LOT of burgers so I was sceptical to say the least! I have to admit...I think my son was right. OPM is a cool place situated in a railway arch and very shabby chic. I'm told the queue to get in can get long at times but no problem for us. The burgers are delicious with loads of creative topping choices and well cooked. One of the specials (sorry can't remember what it was called) came in a sugar doughnut bun...not my thing but the people in our group who ate it were in heaven! Great fries too they come in a big tub and one portion is plenty for two people. Definitely recommended.
M. T.
Independent burger restaurant in an out of the way location. No reservations but have a text message system in place so you can wait in Kilder till called and take your drinks with you. Small menu supplemented by a specials board. Always busy so waiting can take up to 30 minutes. Staff friendly courteous and quick. Sweet and spicy chicken special an absolute delight. Juicy meat cooked to perfection. As was the cheese and bacon burger. Just enough onion to give the burger a little crunch to a bite without been overpowering the burger. Spicy french fries moorish to the max.Service is fast order, eat and pay in under an hour. This is a fast food restaurant you want to come back to again and again.
A.
Oh.my.lord... where can I start. Staff are fantastic, absolute amazing people. Cheery, happy and always want to help. Burgers are the absolute best, if you do pass this establishment you need to go in. The burgers will have you in good food comas! Could not recommended this enough!
B. B.
I think this is the best burger that Birmingham has to offer. It's a great place with great food and friendly staff. There can be a wait but there's a decent bar next door that you can go into while you wait.
A. W.
One of the best burger in Birmingham.
Visited few times and always love it, the meat very juicy and fresh bun.
normally have to wait for queue when night time especially weekend, but its worth!!!
m. h.
Advertised as American Style Burgers.
As an American I can say: Nailed it
Had the Pineapple Express burger with seasoned fries. I wanted to order another one- I can’t remember the last time I ate a burger that fast.
Spot. On. Awesome.
J. P.
Wow! One of the best burgers I have had lately. You can taste the smoky flavor in the meat which means the patty was properly grilled. I recomend the place to any burger lover.
A. S.
I love this place, best place for burgers in the UK I would say.
The menu staples are great, if not limited for vegetarians, however that being said I believe it is possible to substitute a meat patty for a mushroom. They do fantastic specials that I believe change weekly and they are always fantastic.
They’ve just expanded their sides menu and it’s great, with their own take on chicken nuggets.
I whole heartedly reccomend this place, and have done to many of my friends already.
Staff are always friendly and enthusiastic, you may have to wait for a table but every time this has happened to me it’s been handled very well.
Love it. Give it a go.
C. “. C. B.
Food was awesome and staff very friendly. Even got some free brownies for a mistake on the order.
100% recommended.
T.
Insane food, great prices and a really nice atmosphere
J. P.
Nice atmosphere, but a bit of a long wait for the table and the food, beans were lovely. Burger was okay, a bit squashed. Dessert was delicious though, and the service was quick.
V. S.
Booked a shopping trip from Belfast, a quick Google and we settled on OPM for a bite to eat. NO REGRETS! Quick friendly service and delicious food & drinks. I had the crispy chicken thigh burger and spiced fries and both hot the spot.
D. M.
I STILL can't pick between here and Meat Shack for burgers but their fries are definitely better. And if you love Siren ales, this is the best place. Plus, their no nonsense efficient service is just right. Never annoying or pleading for validation, just chilled. Kilder's not half bad either!
R. S.
Everything is fantastic! The food is always prompt and top quality, their burger creations are just amazing and the service is always great. Never disappointed. They have the most interesting concoctions on their specials board and it's always gorgeous food!
A. W.
Awesome burgers good pricing lovely location , great friendly staff best burgers in brum
A. C.
Brought the family here on Fathers Day. Has the edgy/hipster look that's in right now but the food is the 5 star feature here. I fell in love with my burger. The sides were brilliant but truly some work has gone into the main event - the burger.
It helps they have a wonderful drinks selection too!
D. K.
Best Burgers in town!!!!!!!! Hands down!!!!! Not Anymore, see the below update.
Update as of 17.10.2020
Hi OPM, what happened to your burgers? Before I gave 5 stars because you couldn't find a better burger in the West Midlands, the beef patty was full of flavor and you could tell that you were putting a lot of love into what you do? Maybe it's because of the pandemic, but to keep your business going especially in the food industry, you can't keep saving money on the most vital part of the business, which is a Beef Patty. Not sure if you guys went for the cheaper cuts or it's not just seasoned that well anymore, but please fix it as the burger doesn't taste the same at all!!!
l. w.
Stumbled upon this place right before the lunch rush and could not have been more amazed. While the menu is small, everything on it sounds amazing and let me tell you, the food is beyond delicious.
I had the bacon cheese burger which was huge, perfectly cooked and exactly everything I want from a burger. My friend had one of the specials of the day - a jalapeno burger. I had a bite of his and the flavors just came together beautifully. We also shared some of the OPM fries which come topped with slaw and spices and I would highly recommend them.
With an outdoor seating area perfect for summer and a simple but very trendy hipster indoor bit, this place has a great vibe that ties to their dining club origins. I know where I will be going the next time I'm craving an absolutely filthy burger
T. H.
I had the Doner burger which was excellent.
L. C.
Best burger ever!!! I cannot recommend this place highly enough.
Open Thurs-Sun, no seating reservations, just show up and wait if you get there at a popular time.
Good beers and a great atmosphere. Does takeaway too.
B. S.
Best burger ever! Good atmosphere and decor. Friendly staff. Cool place. Chips could have been better. Deffo need some milkshake action!
K.
Heard great things about this place. We went on a Wednesday evening had to wait an hour for a table of 6. When we got our burgers, it wasn't really anything different from other burger joints. Probably wouldn't wait that long again.
9.
The place is good. Gave me a feel of being in a nuclear bunker lol. The food was really nice and I really enjoyed my burger and fries the only thing that let it down was the smell of wax on the wrapper that covered the burger. It left a horrible taste in my mouth. If they could scrap that paper or get rid of the smell then boom 5 stars is deserved!
J. R.
Very nice burger but very over priced! Nice fries. Standard size portion for the price they could make the burger thicker and put more fries in.
T. C.
Yummy food. Love this place
Wife's burger was pink in middle though. Not sure if this is normal or not. Don't think it is with minced beef.
Odb fries were better in the foil tray
B. P.
Tucked in the railway arches this is a gem of a burger place. Decor is basic because they pour all their skill and love into the food.
L. R.
Possibly the the best burgers in the whole of the UK, food is always outstanding and you seriously won't taste food like it anywhere else.
They also sport alot of craft ales, spirits etc which are always top notch, if your deciding between this and Five Guys near the bullring always choose OPM as you won't be disappointed!
b. u.
Very delicious! We had the cheez-e and the McCluckin special and both were AMAZING. We sat in the alcove by the entrance, the atmosphere was ruined slightly by the front entrance door nevr shutting properly and us having to get up and close it. But food amazing! Service was friendly too
J. T.
Cracking burger. Up there with the best I've had. Absolutely demolished the special fries when usually I don't quite make it through them all.
W. C.
Having travelled extensively through the UK, this gets my vote for best burger in the country. The space itself is not great, but the burgers are exceptional. Fries and beer selection is also good. I always stop into OPM whenever I'm in town.
M. T.
Been a couple of times, great burgers, awesome selection of craft style beers ciders and soft drinks.
I found it quite reasonable, burger, fries and drink for about £10. Chicken burger is easily the best I've ever had.
S. S.
Went on a sunday afternoon food is absolutely gourgous for the price could do with chips but tbh was a very very decent burger.
D. N.
Been trying to go here for ages. It's only open from Thursday to Sunday and it's always very busy. Luckily managed to get the last burger on the Sunday and it was terrific. Service was excellent as it's only a small cosy venue with a chilled vibe. The staff were very knowledgeable about the beers and burgers on offer which helped inform my choice. The Krispy kreme burger is a great idea as it mixes the sweet with the savoury and I had 'trump special' fries which had a Mexican salsa style topping. So much better than places like five guys. Well worth visiting for a unique experience and best burgers in brum!
r. g.
Very very nice....nice people good service and lovely grub ....perfect 👍
J. E.
Great burgers, great drinks. The staff are amazing. The best burger joint in Birmingham by a clear mile. You have to vusit they also fo craft ales.
S. K.
Very home made feel to the place, I could have felt out of place as a middle aged woman with kids, but the staff were very welcoming and accommodating of the need to serve the food more plain and simple for the children (no kids menu). Food was great, obviously run by people who understand food. Struggled to finish it. Very impressed.
C. O.
Gosh darn DELICIOUS. I had the vegan burger on the specials board. My boyfriend had the chorizo jam special. We are both obsessed and will DEFINITELY be returning!! The staff were so friendly and the vibe was fantastic.
A. N.
One of the best restaurants in Brum, and a local one too. Food is almost always fantastic, they have good beer and the fries are incredible. Could do with a proper coffee machine though, but other than that it’s all good really! 🍔👌🏼
P. J.
Outstanding food, juicy burgers, perfectly cooked bacon, just the right amount of sauce. Service was good, nice polite waitress. Highly recommend!
D. C.
Delicious burger with a lovely balance of flavours in the bun. Amazing venue under the railway arch, it's quite hipster here. Good beer selection if you like obscure brews.
A. K.
I can't recommend this place enough. Set back in a little side street it feels very hidden from the hussle and bussle of Birmingham city.the staff are super friendly and very informative about what's on the menu. great relaxed feel the the place. The food is amazing and fresh. You will definitely not walk out of there hungry, there's is an out door decking area which lead the the killburn which is a bar linked on to patty men. Very interesting selection of drink in there. Over all we loved the whole dining experience.
p.
Great quirky venue with epic burgers!
J.
One of the best buger places I know. Wings aren't everyday so that's a -1 and can't book tables which makes big groups difficult. Food is excellent and hopefully they can improve the size
T. W.
Well holy moly.
This place is so awesome.
Excellent interior. Friendly staff and good wholesome food.
Hands down 100000% the best burgers I have eaten in my life. Ever!
Don't just read reviews about this place, go and visit and enjoy!!
D. D.
The 'Alabama Slammer' was the best chicken burger I've ever tasted... it was succulent and full of flavour.. you must put the Original Patty Men on your 'must visit' list. The venue is small and cosy but they are expanding soon.
B. E.
Came here for some birthday burgers with my girlfriend on a Thursday lunchtime. Original patty men is in a cool location underneath railway arches and it looks really cool inside as it's decorated with loads of repurposed materials. I was presently surprised that beavertown ale is on the drinks menu so we both ordered a can each! For food I had a double cheese and bacon burger with spiced fries and my girlfriend had one of the chicken burgers from the specials board with skin on fries. Food was excellent, we were served fast by a very friendly Waitress :) Would 100% recommend. We will be visiting again to try out the other burgers!
O. A.
Top quality, one of the best burgers you'll get in brum.
B. A.
What's not to love? Delicious burgers, fab fries and beautiful noogz. On weekends, be prepared to wait a bit of time to get a table, but dont worry, spend the time getting a drink from the great bar next door instead!
O. D.
What a wonderful establishment. The burgers were lovely and the chicken nuggets are on a completely different level. Staff were warm and friendly. Will definitely be going back whenever I can.
S. J.
It's a solid burger place that manages to place itself near the top for burgers joints in Birmingham. The only negative is that the burgers are served pink in the middle, so we asked for the burgers not to be served pink, but they still had a pink interior. Therefore only 4 stars can be given. Would still recommend with a caveat.
J. T.
one of the best burger restaurant i've been to in birmingham! wish they had more burger selection though but its understandable as it's fairly new and the place itself is pretty small. their playlist bangs too! loved the atmosphere and would definitely go back again!
p.
Really good burgers, plenty of fries and great beers all set in very nice surroundings with a relaxed atmosphere. If you like burgers, then this place is a must visit.
S. N.
The hype and queues that are that are synonymous with this establishment will ultimately mean a backlash of critics tling you not to bother or didn't live up to the hype. It is a burger, there is no reinventing the wheel. What you do have is great ingriedients, no pretentiousness. This is a great burger and a great place. Always worth the wait.
D. G.
Best burgers around, been multiple times and never fails, atmosphere is spot on, worth a little wait at busy times, service is great, always happy to recommend and very cheerful. Food is amazing, and the drinks selection is great.
A. S.
Amazing, tasty burgers. Limites choice but the feew are done extremely well. Minimalist decor (which I personally like) and some nice drinks choices. Try the Karma Cola, reminds me of being 9 years old and having a Dandelion and Burdock on the way home from school!
L. C.
I love the burgers etc , I only wish they would consider proper cheese, as I don't like that orange weird American fake cheese type. It
had no flavour. Grated cheddar works much better melted over the fries.
G. F.
Nice and tasty burgers. Not much to choose from what is actually a good thing, it's prepared freshly. Burgers are on the small side. Their spiced fries are brilliant.
C. L.
Great food, quirky location, good service from knowledgeable staff
K. S.
OMG!
my favourite burger place indeed!
everytime visit you have to wait, BUT its worth!
good service, juicy cheesy meat burger, a lot of napkins.what you can expect for it!!
Highly recommend
m. h.
Awesome burger I had Vern's crispy ring! The sweetness off the doughnut made the beef seem more beefy which I liked. And the odb fries were amazing! Full of flavour and just enough. Also had the kinder blondie that was lovely and cheap too at just £4.50 I believe.
R. V.
Amazing burgers and first class service... 👍🍔
O. J.
Amazing burgers, great beer. Walked in off the street straight into a seat on a Friyay night. Friendly staff. Best burgers in B-Town.
P. H.
Cracking Burgers & side dishes , staff were very friendly and a credit to this establishment.
J. M.
If you need a goodburger, you have to come here!
One of the best cheesy burger I had.
a hidden place but quality.
Better come earlier as we visited Friday night and have to wait almost half hour
A. V.
Food amazing and Siren on tap which you can never go wrong with. Had the Alabama Slammer burger - I couldn't cheat on my fellas at Slow Richie's back home. But so good, I went for the nuggs after.
C. P.
Never had a bad meal from here. Even when i've ordered through uber eats!
Great burgers & fries 👏
j.
Amazing. Got there at 11:20am, was 5th in a queue of 10+. Super efficient service, quirky, stripped back and exclusive atmosphere. Quite simply the BEST burger you'll ever taste. PERFECT!
A. K.
The place is nestled away under the railway bridge and has a contemporary feel. The food (wings only wed) was amazing. I'll be going back for the burgers! Highly recommended it.
L. H.
if you want pure burgers that you never taste anywhere else then I would recommend here I first came across patty boys On a street festival where they were giving out burgers they are the best burgers in this entire world and just because they’re that amazing They were forced to open a shop in Birmingham the shop is very small but it’s also very good quality the burgers are gorgeous and is just overall amazing drinks had a major selection I’m definitely recommend the lemonade in pure tart and amazing If you’re looking for a nice burger that you will never get anywhere else that you can just Stuff your face with I would definitely definitely definitely recommend hear the staff are amazing and it is just overall the best burger place in the world
l. j.
Well what can I say I’ve just had THE BEST cheese burger I have ever tasted in my life from these guys the owners and staff are absolutely lovely and welcoming and the burgers and food served hear is exactly what you pay for nice little swanky burger slash bar :) definitely on my list for a visit again :) thanks guys
K. D.
Birmingham's best burger joint. Nothing comes close. Burgers are flavoursome, delicious and divine all paired with a nice craft lager. 10/10!
H. W.
Good look finding it but when you do it's worth it. Never eaten anything I didn't like in this place. Just try the Krispy Kreme burger it's really good as is the fried chicken. Only open Thursday - Sunday and the drinks are a bit pricey but apart from that you have to go!
P.
Nice food. Our group of six had to wait in the bar for 35 minutes to get a table. Doesn't matters, the bar is a nice location and serves a huge amount of different drinks.
J.
One of the best burgers I’ve ever had and the triple cooked fries are gorgeous. Quite small inside with outside seating, it can get busy but it’s defo worth the wait.
V. W.
One of the best burgers I've ever had. Really chilled place, brilliant food for a reasonable price. Looking forward to our next visit 😋
A.
Where to start?! The food goes beyond anything I can describe. Personal recommendation is the Big Vern's Krispy Ring burger. Great selection of craft beer and desserts which changes regularly so there's always something new to chose from, which is a bonus as you'll end up a weekly/monthly regular after the first taste.
Cool tunes create a relaxed vibe in the week and they up the volume from Friday onwards for a livelier weekend buzz.
Queuing is likely at peak times but they'll serve you to drinks while you wait and the service is always spot on.
Can't recommend this place highly enough!
J. R.
Amazing tasting burgers with imaginative menu and good, attentive service. I can't recommend this place enough! Best burgers I have ever had!
M. J. G. T.
My burger was quite tasty. However, the meat was slightly overcooked for my taste, and the bacon quite a lot so. Overall, as I said, it was nice. Service was also OK.
a. a.
Good burger
Good chips also
K. K.
By far the best burger I've had in Birmingham. It's a little expensive but you get what you pay for. Great food, nice restaurant and just as important good customer service
C.
My husband and I have just left O.P.M, it was a chilled environment with an excellent service.
My husband had the pinapple express which he said was really tasty and I had the po money, po mushroom with O.P.M fries which was delicious.
As a vegetarian I was unsure of what to expect knowing that O.P.M is all about beef burgers but my mushroom burger was Amazing. And even as a vegetarian I will be going back.
Thanks O.P.M x
P. M.
Fantastic that Patty Men is open again, we've really missed their burgers, without a doubt they are the best about!
M. D.
Very good! Then "pineapple express" burger is in my personal top 3 from now. The fries were also amazing.. although, i would skip the coriander :)
R. F.
Possibly the best burgers in town; this place went straight into the top 3 restaurants in Brum on TripAdvisor after opening and has stayed there ever since. The food is gorgeous, staff are lovely and its just around the corner from Selfridges.
S. S.
Best food I've had in a long while in a restaurant 🙂 Thankyou
H. G.
Great service. Great staff. Topped chips a bit ming tho
A. M.
Great food. Awesome service. Will definitely be returning.
L. L.
This place lived up to expectations - definitely one of the best burgers I’ve had in a while! Tasty fries and good selection of beers on tap!
F. R. S.
Dirty burgers, best in Birmingham!!!!!! Food is perfect !!!!! Would be even better with more varieties of fries . .. Halloumi, sweet potato or mixed veg fries and a dirty milkshake. Lovely vibe and great dessert!!!!!!!
S. C.
Easily the best burger in Birmingham. There are no reservations, so either get there early or be prepared to wait. It's definitely worth the wait, though.
a. a.
Lovely burgers and quick service. Some quality craft beer on offer too. Easily one of the best burger I've eaten.
A. K.
Excellent burgers and great friendly atmosphere. No bookings here, therefore allow for an extra 20 minutes for a sitting. Best burgers in Birmingham I would say.
P. B.
Best burger ever, long queue but doesn't that just tell you how good it is...Burgers tend to come pretty pink so if, like me you like em cooked through just request em well done 👍
D. P.
Quick and excellent, relaxed atmosphere and excellent menu.
J. F.
Awesome Burgers, probably the best adress in Birmingham maybe even in the whole UK. Really nice waitress. Will definitely come back at some point.
B. P.
Finally managed to get to OPM have tried a few times but so glad we managed to visit. Great reception and staff interaction as for food good choice and was stunning. Very good value. very pleased . More visits planned well done OPM.
P. B.
Amazing burgers, great sides and nice beer. Really loved the cauliflower wings too. Highly recommended
g. b.
Very good, especially the chips.
M. R.
Just had a quick lunch, burger and fries were delicious. Would be nice to spend longer and have a beer or two, like the people on the next table whose drinks I was eyeing jealous as I sipped my (not coca-) cola
A. C.
This place is SHAMAZING. We went on a busy night and even though we had to wait a while it was totally worth the wait. The nice thing was is due to the place being so busy we were told to grab a drink next door and they will get us when the table is ready. Just perfect set up and not to even mention the food - spot on! Couldnt recommend it enough
M. M.
Fantastic burgers, one of the best I have had for ages. Triple cooked fries were excellent. Great selection of beer as well.
J. Q.
Amazing burgers, delicious! Fried beans also a treat and look forward to going back. Prices reasonable too.
L. P.
So first off, the queue was huge. That may put some people off, but it plays as a testimonial as to how great the food is here. I strongly recommend coming here, the earlier you are the less likely you will have to queue. Great dinner
D. W.
Great food, great atmosphere, great service
T. R.
Best burger I've had in the UK. Great beverages too and staff are very hard working.
R. M.
Great people, wonderful food and a perfect selection of beers. If alcohol isn't your thing, the selection of soft drinks are incredible. Thankfully no Coca Cola or Pepsi available..... thanks guys!
B. U.
Really really good food !!!!
Highly reccomend it !
C. C.
My visit was great. Staff are friendly. Atmosphere was upbeat. Food . . . The best burger ever!
L. B.
Mad ting burgers that taste so good you will give up all other food. The dudes in there are real nice. Try the bacon/cheese and the opm fries. Amazingly good. Thanks
R. B.
Difficulty to argue against O.P.M delivering the best burger in the midlands, especially their chicken burger. Throw in a great beer selection and friendly staff, and a trip down Shaw's Passage becomes essential for visitors and locals alike.

Love the place, very cool location (under the railway bridge lol). we have to wait around 20 mins fora burger BUT its worth! Staff are welcome and burger just perfect for a burger lover! willcomeback!
T. G.
Decent chicken burger. The chicken nuggets were too saucy. Service was quick, and I appreciated the attentiveness of the staff, or at least as the oy customer in at the time.
D. B.
Probably the weirdest place to have a good outlet
Considering how small the place is isn't too shabby
The fries was well seasoned with paprika and coated well
The burgers literally drenched with sauces and since got the chicken was tender
It's a niche venue to say the least but give it a go
R. H.
Great burgers (Probably the best in Birmingham), the OPM fries are fantastic! And there's some really good craft beers to chose from!
N. B.
Great place, decent classic cheeseburger in a relaxed and understated ambience with wide selection of food and drink but I have to say I still prefer Buffalo and Rye (which I've also reviewed).
I. W.
Love the place, good food (though not the best burger I've ever had) but the prices are a bit steep, can't really justify 9 quid for one burger and 5 and a half quid for chili fries....
S. L.
Great burger in a location off the beaten path. Good service and atmosphere. Can get a little busy. Worth a visit for the burger afficionados
J. A.
Amazing! Enchanting scenery, you have not lived until you've eaten the delicacy they beautiful present here.
S. M. L.
Having lived in both the American West and Argentina I do appreciate a good burger, I recommend it! I come here about once a month for a good throw-back.
P. N.
Creative burgers, a local must-try. An absolutely punk place, seriously good food. But mind parking. Queues are very much possible. Place is tiny, but worth it.
S. M.
Really excellent burgers. Menu is a tiny bit limited.
Order 1 fries to share the portions are huge!!!!
R. S.
Fantastic. Would rate 10 stars if I could. Pleasant casual atmosphere with fantastic burgers and sides! Great beer selection also.
D. B. (.
Best burgers in Brum and up there with the best of them beyond, too. Bacon Cheese burger is outstanding, boneless 'nuggz' are a game-changer. Keeping doing what you do, OPM.
E. R.
Go here, eat burgers, simple!
Great burgers, really tasty and good value. These are some of the best tasting burgers you will have.
B. L.
Wings!!! They are delicious- what more can I say!
l.
Soooooooo where to begin, ive had quite a number of these burgers and indulged in the quality sides ever single time i have eaten the juiciest burger in brum BUTTTT i am more than relieved to find an upto date service that informs wether or not to take the journey into the city for a burger. Because the temptation of gorgeing on the feast wich is the O.P.M menu had me driving in and out of town on a whim every few days to catch it open! Wich let me tell you was NEVER .. but now im very aware that they keep it EXCLUUUUSIVE
A. C. T.
The burgers were outstanding and a really good atmosphere. Prices were very reasonable and the staff friendly and attentive.
T. K. T. B. J.
Lovely burgers and the fries were good too - except the coleslaw leaked liquid all over them and they were sat in a puddle and went soggy.
O. J.
Burgers are amazing cooked to perfection !! The wings were delicious and succulent will be visting here on a regular basis!
D. W.
Yum burgers, yum beers, yum milkshake. Quick, friendly service. Slick fit out.
Chicken burger was super moist, drenched in amazing Franks sauce. Omnomnom
S. P.
Good. But nothing special. A lot of competition in Bham for burger bars. Beers selection is superb. Try the pink grapefruit beer if thats your thing.
S. E.
The Bakon and cheese is awesome here. But the meat taken for the burger still could be a bit better. Extraordinary burger creation already with the great assorted cheese
D. L.
the best burger in Birmingham!!!
we have to wait at least 5 mins everytime we visit. BUT definitely worth
C. A. F.
Best burgers bar none. Small place but great atmosphere. I go here with family and friends as well as for casual business meetings.
J. W.
Great food and drink! One of the best burgers I've had by far
A. M.
The burgers are sooo good. The beer selection is great if a little pricey. But I love the venue.
T. D. (.
Hard to find, not clear sign. Food is OK.
K. J.
Absolutely love this place. Have kept the burger fix sated throughout the lock down too. Thanks guys!
M. W.
Great burgers, probably best I've had in the UK so far! Great chips and slaw. Loved the tunes too!
B. P.
Cool place to eat in Birmingham, great service and very tasty fries! Recommend the nuggets, but chicken burger was a little bland.
A. S.

Amazing burgers and unreal wings. Consistently good and friendly service. Eaten here at least 10 times.
R. G.
Really delicious food for a good price. Love the aesthetic too. When I went they didn't have any chicken but that wasn't a problem for me.
A. H.
Great 🍔 and 🍺 to soak up a heavy night in Birmingham. Well worth a short trek out of the shopping district to find this place. My wife and I are coming back!
s. s.
nice burgers, beware of the private parking across the road though, they will try to rob you.
D. P.

S. B.
Brilliant service and best burger i have tried will definetly go again.
A. K.
Probably the best burgers in Birmingham, but let down with the pricey standard sides. Still would go for the burgers alone and order two burgers over a burger and side.
R. D.
Delicious fresh and awsome! Every time I go there I feel welcomed and I am served magnificent food - simple and true. I love this place!
J. M.
A hidden gem for burger aficionados, hipsters and cocktail lovers. In the top 3 for experiences under the arches. Can't fault the food, drinks or people.
W. S.
Best burgers of the universe for the price of the famous fast food branch using red and yellow as main colours. Epic, enough said.
L. M.

R. S.
One of the best burgers!
Lovely staff, welcoming atmosphere and good value for money!
S. R.
Cracking little place. Great burgers and the chilli cheese chips were fantastic.
Off the beaten track but thoroughly recommend you go there.
S.
The food was amazing the place is so clean and friendly service I loved the music I couldn’t not to dance with it. It isn’t very loud. I’d go there again
C. F.
Original Batty Men. Where do I start? Food: juicy. Music: sublime (hip hop vibe made it chilled which gives the place an added ‘va-va-voom’). Customer service: spot on. The sheer look of embarrassment on my mate’s face when he took photos on the waitress’ phone thinking that he was taking them on his friend’s phone for crackin’ banter: priceless.
K. P.
Everything about this place is heaps of awesome. The burgers were great, the fries were great and they have a great selection of craft beers.
K. H.
This place is the reason I still live in Birmingham.
If you like burgers, go here, eat any of their burgers and you will understand the meaning of true love.
D. V. C.
Nice gem situated in digbeth. Food is good and perfect to cure your darkest food desires.

The burger was DIRTY (in a "holy christ this is good" kind of way).
Definitely recommended. My arteries are still in shock 4 days later.
L. e. L.
Good beer, tasty burgers, great atmosphere. Closer to bullring than think and much better than any burger place around.
J. C.
Nice place with good burgers and fancy beer. Was busy when we went on a Friday night, so would book for peak times.
M. E.
This place was the best burger I've ever eaten and the staff were great. I will definitely visit again!

T. P.
Yummy food, great service, great to find an independent burger place doing it right.
J. E.
Fantastic burgers at a fantastic price. AND there's an adjoining tap room. What's not to like.
M. B.
Never had a bad meal here. Always a good feed, we always worry the food's not enough at the time of ordering, but always leave fully satiated
C. H.
When we were in the city centre today we said "let's get burgers". We didn't even need to discuss where we were going to get them. There's no question. OPM is delicious.
C. Q.
Lady was very friendly and the burger was cooked to perfectly.
M. A.
Very good food, you do have to go in and be given a seat which, if you just sit first you will loose your table. But the staff are friendly.
G. P.
Once you've tried this, you'll never look at a burger the same again!
L. B.
Super tasty hamburger and fries
A. R.
Brilliant food, beer, space & location. Having lived in east London for 20Yrs O.P.M is as good if not better than anything a Hackney Hipster will try. Keep up the good work
B. W.
The food here is absolutely brilliant, and the fact it is always busy only confirms this, however I find the service from the staff to be consistently mediocre; something to consider.
a. r.
The food is wonderfull, nice table service,if you want a proper burger, come here,100% top class every single time.
V. N.
A few years ago we went there for the mushroom burger, which was amazing! Came again this year, it changed a lot and was just average.
E. L.
Avoiding Burger King, McDonald's and 5 Guys. Instead, while you're in the Bulling area, walk 5 minutes for much better quality burgers, drinks and service.
s. 4.
Excellent burgers, friendly staff, good ale, fantastic atmosphere
O. M.
The best burgers for miles around. The Big Vern's Krispy Ring is a thing of wonder. Well worth a visit!

Bloody brilliant burger. I had the one with the black pudding on and it was delicious
I. A.
Nice burgers but not exceptional.Pale ale was good though.
S. H.
Good food and the staff are always friendly. It's best avoid peak times as it gets very busy and there is limited seating.
C. S.
Caught these guys before the restaurant opened but they've managed to keep the food exactly the same...excellent.
The staff are really friendly and are always happy to accommodate.
A. A.
Favourite burger joint, only downside is the queue.......but always worth the wait. Siren beer definitely helps.
J.
Best burger for a good price. Try the bacon cheese with a hot sauce. Awesome. 🤤🤤🤤
A. C.
Great burgers. I missed the specials board so now I'll have to go back! What a hardship that'll be
R. S.
Tasty burgers and beers. Quick service.
