HAD A TERRIBLE ONLINE ORDEING EXPERIENCE. ordered food to be picked up at 7:20 when I came to the shop the food hadn't even been STARTED. When I selected 7:20 it said ready by 7:20 NOT start cooking at 7:30. It was disgraceful, I was just standing there like an idiot waiting for my food. THERE WERE ONLY 2 EMPLOYEES in the shop serving about 7 customers. The only reason they are getting 3 stars is because the food was quite good

Aston uni and lots of offices nearby, so generally busy. Break is 30 mins for most people sooooo you better call ahead. Unreliable phone responses. 5 star experience when they answer, 3 when they don't. 4 stars down the middle, lemon and herb is nice.

Yesterday I went to Rio's Peri peri and It was so good to see their service. Excellent staff working there. Honestly I am not kind of person who like fast food but after visiting Rio's peri peri Aston I was totally shocked by experiencing good service. Food was totally good but full credits goes to person who is managing the staff. He is always welcoming all with a smile👏👏👏👏

Visited this afternoon (28/11/19) and I think they're doing a great job. My rancho burger was delicious. As with most chicken places, their chicken is marinated in buttermilk which I'm allergic to, so having another option for my fast food craving was great. Unfortunately they made my first burger on autopilot and added cheese. They were about to take the cheese off... So they were extra careful with my second burger and we're really apologetic and understanding. Only issue was my fries, I figured the piri salt was standard, I ended up with none at all🙁 I will definitely be going back, great team, great food

I have been to Rio's Piri Piri multiple times. The food is like Nandos but way cheaper. As an aston student, it's a quick, healthy and delicious meal. The thing that has made me a loyal customer is the fact that the owner or cook or manager is an amazing human being. I saw food delivery guys coming in and he gave them food. In another instance I came in at 1 minute to 11. The cashier was about to close the till, she seemed a little hesitant and I was embarrassed so I offered to leave but they cooked my food, made my fries and also gave me extra food. They could have easily sent me away. When people do good things for no other reason but to be kind, it is an amazing thing and I think we should all encourage that, he probably didn't think anyone noticed but that is how you build loyalty in customers.

The food at this branch particularly is not as good as from other branches. There's always less fries and the cost is also higher for the area. Near a collage/Uni, most people can't pay £9 for a single meal, especially when there's a Tesco accords the road from which you could get a lot more food for £9

It was my first time in Rios and the food was delicious!! it took 10 minutes to prepare my Rancho and was totally worth the staff is very friendly and also very careful with the food and also a very clean place. I will come back soon!!

Great food, fresh and delicious. Grilled wings are to die for. Rancho burger was amazing. Staff is also cheerful and friendly, Shop can be very busy at times however staff tries their best to serve all as fast as possible with a smile. This Rio peri peri is welcome addition to this parade and answers to all students’ prayers at Aston campus. I recommend to try everything on the menu, there is so much variety that I never get bored eating this day after day. Thank you Rio peri peri

Just as good as Nando’s but much better value. Delicious flavours and excellent crispy chips. My only complaints are that eating chicken with a bendy plastic spoon isn’t easy and more importantly based on the clientele I’m assuming the meat was halal - which I don’t agree with - it’s very cruel if the animal isn’t stunned first and anyone who disagrees is deluded. This is 2019 not 1919 time to change and embrace enlightenment. In response to your reply I completely agree with your response. I just think there should be a forward thinking approach to religious rituals. Stun the animal first then carry on as usual. Scientific advances shouldn’t be ignored when they are developing more humane approaches to animals and as you know we Brits hold animal welfare to high esteem and have on the whole some of the best standards in the world. I totally respect your religion but do want a progressive approach to all God’s creations.
