Nice and clean with a good atmosphere. However we were kept waiting for 30 mins even though we had pre-booked and the restaurant was relatively empty. The food was nice but expensive. Definitely not value for money and left us considering the chip shop on the way home. The cocktails were delicious but mainly ice. I'd go back for drinks rather than food. We had 2 main meals, 3 cocktails (regular size), 2 refillable soft drinks and 1 dessert. The bill came to just over £70. The rump steak in the picture cost £20.

I went to TGI's Birmingham for my birthday meal. The staff was friendly and attentive. However, it took a while for the food to arrive. I tried Fridays sesame chicken strips with house fries , the chicken was quite nice especially the Jack Daniels sauce. In the end without expecting I was treated with the slice of birthday cake and the staff also sang Happy Birthday ! Made my day extra special, thank you :) Would go again to try other things !!

Daniels customer service was great, he is a hard working individual with some of the best skills I have seen in customer service in a long time. He went the extra mile to ensure we enjoyed our drinks and meal. Sadly we missed our table booking but managed to get in a 8pm, he offered to serve us food at the bar as it was quiet and cut a hour off the wait! The food was lovely, so thank you!

Staff shortage so waited by the entrance 15 minutes nice clean environment went for lunch so being a vegetarian I had the cheesy taco 🌮 which was nice my daughter had the chicken strips and wings which she enjoyed and purple rain 🌂 drink..

My friends and i visited TGI on a Thursday it wasn't too busy but the service wasn't good at all it was very slow we ordered 2 rounds of drinks, both times it took about 20 minutes to come and when we asked for things like water and BBQ sauce it never came. No check back was made so i couldn't ask for it again. Our section that we were sat in still had dirty things on for the majority of time we was there. The food on the other hand was great, nice portion size very filling and the drinks didn't disappoint either. I do know the name of our server but i don't want to get anyone in trouble, i work in this industry myself so i do know what its like but this was just unacceptable.

Genuinely OK. The service is odd and disjointed and the maitre d' is a bizarre character. Some of the food is great. Some of it is a OK. The price is OK. They do cocktails well. I'd recommend the famous glaze burger. The loaded fries are overrated.

Always seems to be understaffed regardless of how many customers are in there. You can be waiting for ages just to put your drink order in due to the staff having to deal with other people. Trying to catch someone's attention to ask for the bill is also a pain. Food is always great but something needs to be done about how long everything takes.

I have been multiple times towards the end of the last year and had the pleasure of being served by lovely staff i.e Niqua, Taejon and Miles. The food was exceptional and you could see the hard work of the servers. However, i personally believe the kitchen staff may need sone working on as i received a dirty plate/glass multiple times. I like to know details when it comes to my food as I’m going to be digesting it, so i asked who was washing the dishes and why it hadn't been done properly. On more than one occasion i was told a Kirt had been ‘washing the dishes’ and i must say I’m not pleased with the ‘effort’ he/she is putting in. In a work place such as TGI’s i feel cleanliness should be a priority for kitchen staff and it seems as though this is not understood by this employee!

My Fiance and I visited here for our 10th Anniversary. We booked ahead to be sure. We also requested a certain type of seat loacation and mentioned in the booking it was our anniversary. Upon arrival we were greeted by a lovely lady who wished us a happy antiviral which was lovely. Then she talked to us about the kind of table we needed. She couldnt help us enough. The waitress on our table was great too. Nothing was any trouble. All our queations got answered, and the food was hot and fresh. Social distancing was adhered too and masks were worn by everyone. Will definitely be going back again. Thankyou.

My partner was not too keen on the new menu to be honest. Miss the ribs cooked in JD sauce. However, we had an lovely waiter, who took the time out to explain everything to us, as to why it has changed, after a chat I understand why they changed it. It was also last orders so we managed to get extra fries and extra sauces for out meats. Cocktail menu has also been changed, only 2 remaining from the old menu😔 shame really, there was some really good cocktails before. I myself had the surf and turf for the first time, waiter suggested how I should have my steak, it was perfect, shame there was only 2prawns😂. The starter, which is the wings, are now bigger and juicier🤤 those have changed from being half wings to full wings.

Went to TGI Fridays for lunch on Tuesday. We shared a combo plate, I usually love their food but this time I wasn't impressed. Food isn't the same as it used to be. The food menu is bland and overpriced. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. However it took a while to the food to arrive after we ordered and the place wasn't busy. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend TGI Fridays to anyone.

We waited 20 before anyone came back to ask us,what we wanted...another 30 before they came back with our drinks and food....they were very short staffed and a trainee bar tender....that's understandable but it would have helped if it was explained to us as they seated us to expect to wait. That being said there were a number of staff on and TGIs wasn't that crowded and the staff that were there were busy but not very interested...they appeared to not want to be bothered. There was no service.

I ordered the half Ultimate Ribs with Legendary sauce, Cheese and Bacon Fries, Hot wings and unlimited coke. I've never tasted coke that tastes so yummy and sweet! The ribs were just amazing with the sauce and I just LOVED it so much! The cheese and bacon were also really yummy and at the end, I was full and satisfied with my delicious meal! If you're ever thinking about going to this place, trust me, the food is fabulous!

Had such a Friday feels experience and was needed after a long week. My boyfriends ribs fell of the bone & were to die for, my salad & sides were about as you could ask for... But if you go... Go for Zakeera! A brilliant waitress with laughs, banter, and gave amazing service. Service for foods and drink a little slow (could see it was busy). But Zakeera made us laugh making balloon crowns checked on our food, and definitely good for recommending food.

First time I ever went to the famous American family restaurant TGI Fridays and it did NOT disappoint. Upon entering, I was greeting with friendly staff and shown to my table. The restaurant has a lively atmosphere which is perfect for family and friends. I had the delicious hot and spicy rib rack which came with fantastic fries and Franks hot sauce. Service was good but be prepared to wait a little bit for your food. The place is PACKED with families and groups of friends eating out. The dessert, I had the chocolate brownie with ice cream, was good but a little small in terms of portion size. Overall, would definitely recommend if you want a nice family evening out or a meal with friends.

Received a friendly welcome and was seated promptly by Miles. Due to COVID still a limited menu. Our favourite of coated shrimps has been removed . So disappointing as they accompanied the ribs to perfection. It just wasn’t the same ☹️ Bring back the shrimps and put normal mayonnaise in the condiments box with the vegan too!!! Some of us can taste the difference. Menu will need more variety before returning again.

As a lone diner you would hope waiting staff would not leave you waiting, it’s not like being in a group where you can sit and chat to kill the time. I’d been left waiting for nearly 10 minutes before I flagged down 2 members of staff (with difficulty because all the staff seem to be walking around not looking at tables but somewhere off into the distance) to try and order to be told: a) I’m not waiting staff and b) I will find the person for your area It was 20 minutes before I was able to order. Too slow. Following that the food came out, however I got my food before I got my drink and my drink was just a can! The food was tasty.

We arrived around 8.30 on a Friday night and found the desk unmanned! The bouncer came and told us that we needed to wait outside in the lobby (which was really unclear - no "wait here to be seated" sign) by which time another party had arrived who then were seated ahead of us. We were invited to sit at the bar, but not told where it was! After walking round in a circle we arrived at the very busy bar which had only 2 bar people. The bar staff were excellent and were working hard and super friendly. We were seated after about 25 minutes, menus were sticky. The waitress wasn't great, she explained why she was taking our empty glass /bottle (to give us more space) instead of asking "shall I take that /are you finished?" she didn't ask if we wanted a refill. Steak was well cooked (could have done with a bit more resting) but my burger (requested without bacon) had bacon on it. I said "that's got bacon on it" and she told me that it was a mozzarella stick. I apologised, then after she'd walked off I took the bun off and found bacon! The manager happened to be passing as I said "for God's sake!" and he took it back and brought me a fresh plate of fries while I waited. Fries were good! When the burger came back there were yet more fries! It was good. No condiments were offered. Waitress kept pulling "insta" face (ie pouting) at the end of every sentence, which was weird! She seemed a little unfriendly after the burger went back and didn't ask at any point how our meal was. Another staff member was slightly flirtatious, which was a bit too much... When we requested the bill we had quite a wait, so ended up walking to the till. Overall, understaffed, slightly dirty, with a need for better training...

I went here for a meal with friends. Never really been a fan of TGI. food Always seems rushed. We order our drink which they where lovely. But the food is a no from me. Chips cold and my corn on the cob was dry. The main meal was just ok nothing great. The young guy that severd us was lovely and very helpful. But was not the best for me personally

Good food, a bit more expensive compared to somewhere like Nandos but it is a nice place to dine and the staff are very friendly. Jack daniel flavoured chicken is great however I found it to be a bit sickening after eating most of the food (food always tastes great when you're hungry).

Not very impressed, I understand this is not a fine dining but still, music was too loud which only makes everyone to converse louder. And then you know what happens when you end up in busy time-a long wait for food to arrive. In the current times eating out is a bit of a gamble as you don't know if the restrictions will spoil the experience. I needn't have worried here as we (a family group) had a warm and friendly welcome with a great table with outside view and of course all the Fridays American decorations and collectables on the walls. The food was delicious and portion size was more than I could manage (that's saying something!). I naturally kept a little room to squeeze in a tasty sundae. The whole family enjoyed it thoroughly and we were grateful to be able to eat out in this strange time. Special thanks to the two servers that kept my little daughter entertained and put her drawings on the wall.

Id give a million stars if I could, after been out to legoland today I'd booked in for what I thought was sunday (fathers day) upon arrival I realised I had booked the Monday by mistake🙈 Amber and Brenda went above and beyond to find us a table and save us from 3 very hangry kids!! Me and partner love the decor in here and it always makes it an experience. The cocktails and food live up to their reputation, but the customer service is even better. Our waitress 'Lucy F' was lovely, attentive and very helpful. This is highly recommended!

The restuarant was really nice. I loved the staggered levels, and the general decor. The seats took some getting used to though, I'm not the tallest person, and if i sat back my feet wouldn't touch the floor...not a deal breaker though. The food was absolutely delicious. All 4 of us had different things, and we all thought the food was brilliant. Portions of fries were a little on the small side though. Their Covid precautions were done well, and gave us lots of confidence. The car parking was terrible though. It was our first time there and we did 2-3 laps, sometimes in the wrong direction, to find the way out. Hint for anyone considering it, when leaving you have to drive into the car park of the restuarant next door (There are no signs that tell you that though) Don't let the car park put you off though, one of the best TGI Fridays in the Midlands.

We went there on a Wednesday afternoo . We were greeted straight away. It was quiet in there so we got a good table. The service was good, the waitress came and took our order straight away. We visited on our way back from a day out. We like TGI Fridays and this location restaurant never disappoints. We booked online before turning up and glad we did as it was bookings only. People were being turned away at the door and being told it was bookings only but the staff were not advising you could simply go outside book online then dine. We felt sorry for the people turned away. We were seated and felt very safe. The restaurant was clean, one way system in place and the lady at front of house explained perfectly how it will work once we are seated. Our server was brilliant, the service and food was great but I did feel uneasy that the staff were having to get close to you to clear tables, give drinks ect and no face coverings were being worn. I feel for their own saftey they should have visors provided. I also expressed this. The lady server expressed she would like to feel more protected, as did her colleague. TGI please look after your staff, they are great. Overall really good system in place. Would definitely return.

Me, my husband and 12 month old daughter visited at Sunday lunch time, we were seated quickly and had a lovely waiter but the menu was very limited, they didnt have our choice of meal and their chips side was just enough for a toddler to eat, at £4 you expect 2-3 times the size of chips and our waiter agreed with us. Went here with my family to celebrate my 18th birthday and could not fault the service we were given at all, the drinks were quick the food was at a great pace we didn't have to wait long at all and they tasted amazing! Although food was okay we probably wouldn’t return unless Lucy was here to help us. The food was good the service was very polite and kind, as it happened they had some kind of mix up and the 2 adult meals were delayed not sure how or why but after the starter we ended up waiting for an hour. The waitress figured it out just as we were about to complain, they brought the two kids meals re-made our food which had sat under the warmer and apologised. When it came to pay the bill (1 starter, 2 kids, 2 adults, 4 soft drinks) it would have come to £70 kind of expensive, but as they delayed us they gave us £50 off the bill which seemed fair.

We had a great experience at TGI Fridays. We were a party of four (plus a toddler) and visited on a quiet monday evening. The service we received from the whole team was outstanding. Shout out to the bartenders, Billy and Jay who made our cocktails and a special shout out to the store manager Scott who was so welcoming, attentive and personable during our visit. The food was delicious though we did have to wait a while for it to arrive and there was a little mix up when it finally came but Scott came over right away, apologised for the mix up and comped our bill accordingly. The restaurant setting and staff make this a four star review. The restaurant is tiered, with diner-style tables going up to a higher point at one end of the (capacious) room. The staff were fantastic and friendly and they ran an efficient operation. While there is a great selection of food (including allergy-free offerings), and it was properly served, I felt it was good overall but not great. This view is informed by the newer (sometimes more specialised) American-style restaurants in the area and the general elevation of the Birmingham foodie scene in general.

This is possibly one of the largest TGI Friday's I have ever seen. It had a fantastic atmosphere with loads of movie memorabilia covering the walls and a large bar in the centre. The food was absolutely fantastic and there was plenty of it! Also, the staff were very polite and efficient. Our only gripe was that we had to wait over an hour to be seated after we were told that there was a 30 minute wait - which is the only reason they lost their fifth star for this review.

Good restaurant when you are feeling flush and want to splash out on an upmarket lunch/dinner experience. I have taken dates here and also eaten here as part of a large group. Each time has been consistently good and the wait staff are always friendly and helpful. The few times I've had to wait it hasn't been for very long and when waiting inside there is of course the option to have a drink at the bar. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant to friends and family.

Maybe - wouldn't be too bothered if I didn't though.

I always enjoy my meals when I visit tgi fridays and always recommend if someone asks me about it. The only downfall to when I came the last time (April 20th) was the girl who seated and served us was quite miserable and had a bit of an attitude. I understand it’s a busy restaurant and it can be tiring sometimes, I work in retail myself so I always talk to staff how I like to be spoke to at work lol! She was quite blunt with us when we ordered our food and when it came to me deciding what cocktail to order it felt like she just wanted us to hurry up and decide. Even though my last visit wasn’t as pleasant as it has been in the past it won’t stop me coming back as I always enjoy the food here 😊

The Fridays that started it all in the UK, way back in 1986. The restaurant is incredibly impressive, with a gracious design and interesting clutter on the walls. It really gives you the wow factor when you walk in. The bar is massive and is lovely to sit around and enjoy a drink. The service is great, and as usual the food and drink is brilliant. Service is prompt and the food always seems to be of the same good standard. It is child friendly and seems to be able to cater for small parties too so it's great for family groups. Not liking it now, the menu has changed and the classics have gone, most of our favourite cocktails have been removed as well, the prices have been inflated too so now it's gone from mid to expensive to quite expensive. When the food came the portion seemed small for a £24 meal with just 2 prawns on the surf turf and ribs. The new menu just isn't that good, to add insult to it I sat at the table and viewed Solihull TGI's menu on my phone only to find they are still doing the old menu and all the old cocktails and on top of that the cocktails are £1 cheaper and the meals are a few pounds cheaper. When we got the bill an extra meal and an extra drink were on it! They removed them straight away but they should never have been on there in the first place. Very disappointed.

Just before Christmas, I visited this TGI's with my family to celebrate my cousin's 16th birthday. Our waitress for the night was a girl with blonde curly hair who made us all feel welcome. The food and drinks were very nice however the fries I ordered with my meal were slightly cold, I told the waitress about this and she did not hesitate to take it away and replace it. She was very attentive to all of our needs, if we needed more napkins or more cutlery, she'd get it straight away. She made our night :) will definitely go there again!

went to tgi fridays 10 october, looked online at menu before went so Decided what i wanted but got there and what i wanted wasnt on the menu, orderd food come quick, food we had was brilliant, waiter jordan, was outstanding, friendly, polite, nothing was to much, will be back again

Going down-hill I'm afraid. Dirty plates. Food that was meant to be sizzling hot came to us lukewarm - no apology when we complained. We did get hot replacements however. Kids' mains arrived before the starters! No apology, in fact they didn't even seem to see the problem. Would've been 2 stars, if not for the young lady who later took over as our waitress - she was a consummate professional.

Visited TGI Fridays on the Hagley Road for a family meal recently. I would like to highly recommend this restaurant. The food was excellent, good value for money and the staff were delightful especially the manager named Victoria she was most helpful and charming.

Working away this evening and called into the TGI's on Hagley Rd - brilliant service recieved from Victoria and the team. Not too pushy, just enough and very friendly. The food was great, good value and good range of beers too. Will return next time I am back working here

Nice food could be presented better for the price, has to send food back twice as it was not hot service hit and miss not as good as our previous experience when the service was to high standards and made our night think his name was gordan. Would go back again but if this happened again that would be it as it's expensive and standards should be consistent.

A little disappointed used to go alot to other sites . We waited 30 just to get anyone to talk to us . In fact we had a really nice young lady who we hijacked as we wasn't one of her tables . Drinks came after starters though ordered prior . Food ok . Didn't really get the TGI experience if young lady hadn't been so polite & good probably would have gone . H&S bad outside , steep steps back to carpark no light to judge . surprised no one has fallen down so be carfull !!!! . However its obviously popular as it was busy .

Love this place and they doing a great job with the social distance and hand sanitizer cleaning. Food was yummy as always and staff friendly and I was happy they all back to what they do best 👍👍 I would definitely go again even during covid 19 as they got it all under control.

Had to wait 20 minutes after a lady had spoken to us. We aid we were waiting for one. Walked past us plenty of times when we were ready. Didn't have any butter when given food. Overall no time waiting for table but bad service.

My experience there was quite poor. It was very busy as expected how ever sadly there was not enough staff on the floor to cover the amount of people, therefore our server was always elsewhere and it took us ages to get the bill after. Also the food was quite horrible e.g. The bbq sauce Apart from that staff was friendly and we didnt have a few good drinks.

Went in to try their new vegan burger and other options they do. The avocado houmous,nachos and garlic ciabatta was really tasty. The vegan burger is probably the closest meat equivalent I've tried so far and in all honesty I couldn't tell the difference. It's ashame this is available for a limited time only. I will be revisiting to try their other pasta vegan main and most probably the burger too lol. I think if they offered a vegan cheese on the burger and maybe an option to have a double stack vegan burger with onion rings and mushrooms on it may attract meta eaters to try it. Shortly after entering the room I came to the realization that it was completely empty. No staff, no customers, it was just me in there. The constant clatter of the undead banging at the door was doing my nut absolutely in so I decided to grab myself a beverage from the bar. To my surprise the bar was well stocked which I think is always impressive in a busy restaurant, kudos to the bar manager on his stock rotation. Unfortunately the left over nachos I found didn't appear to have any sign of having had salsa on them which just isn't acceptable. The walkers weren't able to enter the establishment for 40 minutes which was much better than frankie and bennies and I was able to finish my drink and nachos in peace. 10/10 would survive in it again.

Poor slow service. One of our group didn't get their meal until 10 mins after everyone else and then had to wait again for condiments by which time some of the food was cold. We were then told there would be a long wait for desert and so we left. Boo tgi.👎

I have been using this restaurant for years and I have never had a bad meal, it's always a treat when I get to go to tgi fridays and I love the menu they serve especially the shrimp 😍 the staff are always friendly and the atmosphere is always good, if you want great food and fast service for a reasonable price give this place a try you won't regret it.
