Recently refurbed pub, clean and tidy, good service! Possibly the best Nacho's ever! Fair prices, good menu and nice food/drink. I would visit again and recommend to others.

A lovely place to have a meal. The place has two parkings, one in the front, were only couple cars fit, and then behind the pub, that allows more cars to park. The food was lovely, ordered some nachos and shared a chicken platter, which was a big portion. The staff was friendly. You can order food by using a sizzling app.

A well deserved five stars in recognition of Alex who was perfect. Very welcoming, chatty, pleasant and above all efficient. Not forgetting Dan who took care of our food where nothing was too much trouble. I asked the guys names before (Wife and I) left the pub to include in this review. They're a credit to The Old Horns and we will be back for that very reason. Compliments to The Chef also. ;-)

Friendly family orientated pub, nicely decorated, busy. Hard working Friendly bar staff. Could do with more motivated glass and plate clearing personnel, tables were left cluttered and dirty for quite a while even though they had reserved notices on them.

Went after work for a few drinks sat in the garden at the front, the pub has been recently decorated and looks nice inside the Garden outside is great when the weather is nice. All tables was cleared and cleaned quickly. Decent beer and Freindly staff!

I have visited few times for food earlier in evening and it's okay for meal and drink. Most recently went to see a band & though the band were great to see & hear they were in a corner spot that I felt wasn't a great place, I either was in the way of others, really close to the speakers or couldn't see. Sorry sounds like a moan but it's honestly how I felt.

Great for families during the day, can get loud in the evening especially at weekends. Updated December 2021. Had a great visit with my Nan and the lad serving was brilliant. Food was great value and very welcoming atmosphere. Updated March 2022. They have just had a refurbishment, there is a great area outside with lots of tables just in time for Summer. The staff are still great and food quality is still good.

STAKE! Well this pub alone has one of the best stakes I've ever had. Cooked correctly and presented amazingly. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Out of all the local pubs this one is my favorite the drinks are cheap and the grub is brilliant for the price you pay.

I popped into the old horns for a few pints and few games of pool, I then decided I was hungry, so off I trotted to the bar. I then met the bar man named ALEX what a asset he is to this place, very helpful, kindly helped me decide on what I was going to eat.... with great patience... his very professional and his customer service is bang on!! The food was to die for, I havnt been for at least 20 months due to covid, I believe they have changed hands, tge food was so much nicer, the staff was extremely pleasant and polite. I highly recommend this place to eat, if tge weather is nice you can sit in the beer garden and have a drink and food.

My Son aged 8 had a great steak. Mine, a sirloin was pure gristle. There was no table check. I'd also asked for well done but mine was medium at most. Two plates, two feet apart couldn't have been more different... His was excellent mine was poor, and I'm being generous! Shame to be honest because the staff were very friendly and the atmosphere pleasant.

Been to eat here twice this week as having a new kitchen. First time we waited ages for food & second time food was served quickly. Only one person in front both times so maybe a newer chef first time. Food was fine, it's pub grub & you get what you pay for. The glasses could do with a proper clean.

Food was ok and good value. Not sure the staff understand the concept of ordering extras for a burger. I ordered a pepper jack stack with a fried egg to be added. I actually got my burger as normal but the egg on side plate. Also the picture on the menu clearly shows this burger coming with onion rings, there was no onion rings and furthermore there was no option to order them as extras. Food was good though.

Enjoyed the meal very much but as a chef myself found the bacon very much overdone burnt pieces on my plate, although edible the. sausages needed a little longer to cook. Felt sorry for the barmaid on duty on her own for ages but would still recommend and would go again.

My family has been multiple times this year and have always have excellent service by the Old Horns team especially a young man called Joel, nothing is too much trouble. Compliments to the Chef never had a bad meal value for money. We will back again.

I bring my teenage son who has autism here quite often. He is a very fussy eater but the kitchen staff always adhere to the way he asks for it. The prices and meal deals are fabulous too, which is what attracted us here in the first place, and the staff are all so friendly and always happy to help.

Staff all so friendly and helpful, I’d eat here every day if I could :).Management are brilliant they have a great team working at the old Horns. Few of the ones that stand out for us is Cordelia she's always so friendly and polite she will go above and beyond to help. She very welcoming to our autistic children' Our family really enjoy coming when she's on her shift she always as time for every customer.shes one of the reasons we come back because how welcoming she makes you feel she's a credit to Martin and tina along with Russell he's excellent always welcoming .holly very friendly Dan is excellent Michelle another fantastic cook recommend her mix grill or chilli wraps quality affordable food by fantastic cooks. This is a great family pub management are fantastic Martin and Tina are lovely people they will work the bar and serve the food..Its nice to see that manage take pride in there pub. Food is fabulous Jo is one of the best cooks in the horns we enjoy day time lunch Michelle is also a brilliant cook I strongly recommend you try this lovely family pub They do great hire fucutions friends have hired a room out for party's tina is fablous organising them bar staff are very polite there a few who Stand out the most Cordelia is one of the top bar maids she will go above and beyond she's very helpful with families with autism she's very understanding and helpful.shes always so happy and welcomes all customers Its nice to be served with a smile no matter how busy it may be she's lovely she will always do table checks she serves us very quick.Russell is really great and always takes time to talk to us. Decent food for a chain pub, the two for £7.50 meals have always been good and the burgers are a cut above the usual in a chain pub especially for the price, exceptional staff, especially Joel, the duty manager who is a huge asset to the pub, he's charming, efficient and always willing to go the extra yard, we usually visit for coffee /breakfast or lunch, at this time the pub is usually quiet and a very pleasant place to be, can't comment on the evenings, decent parking with disabled parking and easy access for the disabled into the pub.
