Glad we visited this Turkish/Greek restaurant. Amazing food with lots of choice on the menu. Draught beer available so you can get a proper pint. Staff are really nice. You can see some of the dishes being cooked over the coals by the chef under the copper extraction hood although because of this, you leave the restaurant smelling of smoke.

Truly fantastic place. We have visited late on a Sunday night (open till 23) and decided to come back the next day - only highest praise from us. Very recommended! Delicious falafel, starters, mains, they even have fish. Starters £5-6, mains £12-17 for most. Efes beer on tap. Wine available if necessary. U will not regret!

We were looking for a nice little restaurant to finish off our day in Bournemouth and found this gem. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, just the right amount of Mediterranean flair, not too much to be kitsch, just enough to be cozy and pretty. We went for the set menu, which includes 5 meze, a mountain of meat, plenty of sides and even dessert! The food is absolutely out of this world delicious. Everything was fresh, well seasoned and perfectly cooked. Especially the chicken and lamb skewers were an absolute delight. Can't recommend this restaurant enough!

Delicious authentic Turkish and Greek food served by nice, friendly staff. When looking at the menu online, don't be fooled by the main courses not marked as Gluten free. After a quick chat with the waiter I learned they had lots of excellent Gluten-free options (almost everything on the menu) and all at very reasonable prices and big portions. I would definitely come back.

Incredible food. Lovely atmosphere. Very friendly staff. A real home cooked feel to everything we had. My moussaka was amazing, reminding me of childhood meals at home. Baklava for pudding was very fresh and so tasty. Wish I could make it. A great place for anyone with autism/Aspergers as the music was very low key as with the lighting. We certainly felt very at home there. Will definitely be visiting there again

I got there on my birthday, which I celebrated on the 24th of July. Waitress was amazing and super friendly and caring and made my day absolutely perfect. Food was really tasty from the starters to the mains and I have nothing to complain, It was the best experience in Bournemouth and I recommend it to everyone as It made my birthday perfect. They even had a candle for my cake as we forgot to buy ours!

Lovely meal there last night. All of our group thoroughly enjoyed our starters and mains. I had the the melon, feta and honey starter and the mixed grill for main. Smelling the meat as it was cooked in the open kitchen at the end of the restaurant I knew it was going to be amazing and I was not disappointed! Salad and rice were very good too. Very clean restaurant and friendly staff! I would definitely return!

We were really looking forward to our visit here having read all the good reviews. It is indeed nicely decorated inside and the food was all nicely prepared if not spectacular with very generous portions. Our main gripe was with the poor service however: we weren't made to feel particularly welcome, they were far from attentive and we ended up feeling an inconvenience rather than welcome new customers. They didn't once come over to ask how our meals were or whether we wanted more drinks (which we would have if asked!). The only real interaction we had was with the young guy who came with the bill who was very friendly and chatty - he could teach the other staff how it should be done...

I visited last night with family and found the food was as good as the reviews made it sound. I ordered the Adana kebab and it was delicious. The only negative was the staff member serving us wasn’t very welcoming and was rather grumpy. Otherwise a nice tasty meal on the whole.

We had a really great night at Agora restaurant last night, the food and the atmosphere was brilliant. The restaurant was full so very busy, but service was still as it should be. Staff all very friendly and helpful. I had vegetarian moussaka which was delicious, best I've had. My husband and our 2 friends both said they had really enjoyed the food and wouldn't hesitate to go back. The evening became a Greek/Turkish party with music and dancing! Not sure if this happens every Saturday but it was really good to see everyone enjoying themselves. Would definitely recommend this restaurant for both food and atmosphere, Thank you for a great evening.

A warm welcome awaited us as a walk in on a rather wet early autumnal evening in Bournemouth. A compact but comfortable restaurant, with a family feel. The booths on the right as you walk in give a relaxed feeling. A great selection of normal Greek and Turkish fare. Very impressed with the seafood offerings and some of the best calamari I have ever had. Melt in your mouth. Impressively well priced as well. Around the same as an Italian at somewhere like prezzo. I would recommend this for a midweek family meal out.

In Bournemouth again a fancied something different from a curry.So managed to get a table on Sunday night.And am I so glad I did.What a great Turkish /Greek restaurant.The staff were good and the food was even better.Some of the best tasting kebabs and vegetables I have had for many years All cooked over charcoal by a great chef who went out of his way to make sure you were happy.The traditional bread they made was so good I had to have an extra order.The restaurant was really busy for a Sunday night and that alone is a great sign .I Have eaten in many of Bournemouths restaurants over the years .But I have to say that this is one of the best I have eaten in .Give it a try people. I hope you love it as much as I did .I will be back that is for sure .

Agora is an Ottman testament of a passionate Chef from Istanbul. His has carefully crafted a menu to tickle your Mediterranean taste pallete. It's is a family run restaurant with TLC. On our way back from Dorset to London, thax to Google ratings we ended up at Agora. And it was worth every bite. I and my family were honoured to be served by the Chef and his wife.
