Had a late meal here, didn't realise it was only pizza available until seated but all the same the pizza was lovely even though slightly expensive. Watched the fireworks while eating and it was a lovely evening in all. Very friendly staff

Good food, good service, good location.
The mussels were delicious, so was the pizza and so was the chicken coconut wrap. We’ll be back next time we’re in the area.

We had dinner here on Friday night with some cocktails. Staff were welcoming and we sat at a tall bar stall as there were no tables left. We had chilli con carne and pizza, both delicious! Cocktails were okay, personally I preferred them down on the pier but they are definitely worth a try. I'd visit again but it wouldn't be my first choice.

Lovely spot by the shore. The cocktails were amazingly good and the food was lovely. For a moment I forgot I was in the UK!

MY husband and I went for a relaxed day in Bournemouth, we had never tried hot rocks so we thought we would!
Couldn't recommend the food enough! We had the bowl of muscles and red Thai curry SO GOOD!
Such good food and it's a very easy going place.

Great welcome from waitress, but not the same level of care from the male receptionist. When I asked for a beer, he directed me to the unstaffed bar next to him quite sarcastically even though he was talking to what appeared the only other staff member.
You have to either find your own menu or request it. They only have drinks and pizza menus on the tables and in fairness they provide a lot more choice.
The pub is bar friendly and the waitress went out of her way to get a bowl of water for the dogs.
The beer was good and the food was tasty, although it could have been a little hotter.
The dirty dishes of the people on the table before me did need to be cleared away which waa not done by either staff member even though they both approached the table.

Very good food and very good service at Hot
Rocks. I ordered Margaret’s River and my girlfriend ordered mussels which was a special. They are out of some beers at the moment but you’ll find one that you like.
Also I will add that we went to many places in Bournemouth and they were fully booked so I’d say give Hot Rocks a try.

Eaten here multiple times over the year. Absolutely love it, great atmosphere great service, this is my restaurant of choice when I’m in Bournemouth. Great menu with dishes named after famous surf breaks. Good cocktail menu, plenty of choice. If you want a good. Igor out head here. It’s also family friendly too 👍

Great vibe, great music and food but the beer was abit watery, otherwise cocktails were great and food came quick.
