Wow! Service that every restaurant should aspire to and incredible food and good wine too. We dropped in for lunch, had a steak meal and a tapas each and a couple of sides. Too much for us because of the generous portions but we did our best! It was too good to stop eating it! The steak was cooked perfectly, the rice was beautiful and the tapas wings and chicken croquettes were terrific. The side of corn was beautifully barbecued, sweet tender and tasty and the best rocket salad I've ever had. We sat outside under a canopy on a warm but typically changeable English day for weather and loved it. We will be back and can't stop recommending it! A family run business, it seems, and all the staff were so friendly and helpful even though they had other tables and a party of 30 to cater for. Thank you and we will see you again soon.

Minas Brazilian restaurant is the real deal. Authentic Brazilian food, deliciously flavoured and cooked perfectly. Generous portions and reasonable prices. As well as all that, the service and staff are friendly and inviting. The overall feel is homely. You'll find Brazilians and locals eating here, a sure sign of quality. The informal set up makes it a great place to bring friends and family for a few hours food and drinks. Equally it's a nice place for a meal for two. I came here with my partner after seeing the reviews and we weren't disappointed. The owner sat down with us after our meal for a few minutes and gave us great tips of places to visit in Brazil. It's a shame we aren't local, or this would be our local. This is a new venture for the current owner, who is also the chef. I see this place doing very well.

On weekend break found this restaurant one of the best restaurants I been two absolutely amazing enjoyed every bit and drinks was amazing 100% recommend

Excellent food, and , above all, outstanding service. Brazilian flavours, served in amazingly sized portions. We had the combo for 2, but I think it could feed 3 with ease. Highly recommend it. Post beach lunch for the win.

Wow this place is amazing . Myself and my husband visited this place yesterday. We had a very good deal on Groupon although the service and food was so good we would of been more then happy to pay full price . I cannot recommend this place enough. Chicken wings were so tasty and full of flavour. Steak was cooked perfectly the whole meal was so nice . The owner's were so friendly and lovely and the son was amazing fantastic customer service. Not had such good food and service like this in a long time and we eat out alot . Keep up the good work guys definitely see you soon 😀

We found this place Saturday evening as there was live latin music. Amazing atmosphere, best vibes we found in Bournemouth. They also do food so we came back the next day. Forget about Sunday roast, Feijoada bean stew on Sundays is 5*

Probably the best Brazilian food I've had! I'm from London, a lot of Brazilian restaurants there need to take notes from Minas. Really good quality food, great service and ultimately affordable food. I would recommend getting the £32 platter of food, defo the most cost effective dish alongside a smoothie/juice. Many thanks, Your Trusted Guru

Wonderful place and our go-to place to eat when we fancy some Brazilian. The music is original and authentic. Really gives the place a cool vibe and gets people into the dancing mood. It definitely feels like Brazil in there. Food is great no doubt about it The service and delivery of food is extremely poor imo. Staff are nice but there's one particular guy who forgets, doesn't take interest, avoids us (We think) and randomly talks to people when there's a customer waiting to be served. While the food is amazing the speed isn't. It took them 45 minutes to whip me up a burger and chips. I understand its busy, but let me know how long you're gonna be than leaving me hanging. We patiently waited one time and asked once or twice politely but the third time we weren't happy. Definitely, check the place out **Reply to the owner*** I do not know his name and I don't want to name and shame. He's a nice guy and I know his part of your family.

A lovely meal. We had the platter for two and it was so generous on the steak, sausage and chicken that the kitchen kindly wrapped up what we couldn’t finish to take home - it was too good not to! The service here is spot on and the staff want to make sure everyone is happy and having a good time. When the sun returns this will be even better - had it not been so cold we would have stuck around for a few cocktails... which looked great too!

Nice place, well run restaurant, good service and excellent food. I had a basic burger with the usual trimmings, it was huge and very tasty, really nice fries. They do a meal deal of a burger, fries & soft drink which works out slightly cheaper. Great value, friendly atmosphere. A good place to meet up with friends or family, definitely somewhere to return to. Try it i doubt you'll be disappointed. Enjoy.

Came to Bournemouth for the first time with my partner and decided to come to this lovely restaurant. We really enjoyed everything- from the friendly staff, to the amazing food! Everything was 10/10, food was delicious, well worth the price. We will definitely be coming back!

Excellent food, true to the Brazilian flavours and very well seasoned. Portions are generous and cooked to perfection. The staff is polite, funny and helpful, making the experience an even pleasant one. On our visit, we had to wait for more than usual for our food to arrive but were kept well cared for by staff and their apologies/updates on the kitchen workload. In the end, the wait was absolutely worth it; the food was amazing. Try the Cassava chips and the Pastel de Bacalhau - to die for! And if you're into Banana Frita (fried breaded banana), then this is the place to eat them! The most delicious ones I have ever tasted. The Stroganoff is delicious, and let's not mention the Pao de Queijo, which we could keep eating all night long. I can't give 5 stars if I want to provide a fair and honest review, as the waiting time was really an issue. We were patient and smiley, but I reckon it's because we are a fun family with no small children. If they were still small, it would've been challenging to manage the waiting. Again, the staff was excellent about it, and the shortness of kitchen staff on that particular night, being a Friday plus in the middle of August, was the reason and hard for them as well. We had such a great meal we are returning to the restaurant soon. I am sure that if they can improve on timings, this will be a 5 stars experience.

Guys food is great, service is decent and the place could be much better, you only need to dim all the lights as the white lighting for cocktails and live music felt like if I was in a hospital, please change the light to warm and dark to make it more cozy

We were in Bournemouth for the weekend it was very busy we tried a few restaurants to get a table all were fully booked,the last place we tried was minas...which was a great coincidence as it is probably the nicest place I have been to for atmosphere,staff were really friendly and accommodating,live music was great ,food is amazing and portions too big for one you get to take some great food home,price was really good and a nice range of products,would highly recommend for your meal or a day out ,will definitely be heading back when possible thankyou

The most amazing place we went in Bournemouth, serves wonderful food and has a very good menu providing a lot of choices for vegans and vegetarians too, they serve cocktails and the staff are very welcoming and friendly, will be our first destination next time am in Bournemouth ^-^

It took about 15 minutes and she didn't come back and so I went to her, she asked me to go back to the table that would serve me, I came back, and nothing, she made I don't know how many drinks, she served a few tables on the other side, then came to a table nearby Minja was talking to them for a long time and when I was leaving I called her, but I don't know if she heard me or not, but she didn't come, I went to the counter again, by then I had already given up on the take away, but I wanted another coke cola and an acai, the acai didn't have it, but she said she would already bring the coca, and I don't know, about 20 minutes and no coke and so I called her again at the table and asked to pack half of the food I still had for take it, and then another waitress who packed it got tired of waiting for the one who attended me to come back to get my bag and started looking for who it belonged to. I said and asked for the bill. And even to pay they didn't come, after about 7 minutes and no one came to me, already stressed I asked my stepbrother to ask at the counter again for the bill and I already stressed the girl who I asked for the coke for the second time, and I didn't bring it, she noticed my stress and asked how she could help and I said I wanted the bill, she brought it, I handed over the money and while she looked for the bill, I decided to take a closer look at what was charged and surprise, the second coke I asked for, but it never arrived, it was it being charged. Passou uns 15 min e ela nao voltou e entao fui ate a ela, ela pediu que eu voltasse a mesa que iria me atender, voltei, e nada, fez nao sei quantos bebidas, atendeu umas mesas em outro lado, depois veio numa mesa proximo a minja ficou conversando com eles durante muito tempo e quando estava saindo a chamei, porem nao sei se me ouviu ou nao, mas nao veio, fui ate o balcao novamente, ate ai ja tinha desistido do take away, porem eu queria mais uma coca cola e um acai, o acai nao tinha, mas ela disse que ja traria a coca, e passou sei la, uns 20 min e nada da coca e assim chamei a novamente na mesa e pedi para embalar a metade da comida que ainda tinha para levar, e depois uma outra garconete que empacotou cansou de esperar a que me atendeu voltar pra pegar minha sacola e comecou a procurar a quem pertencia me pronunciei e ja pedi a conta. E ate pra pagar nao vinham, passado uns 7 min e ninguem vindo a mim, ja estressada pedi para meu stepbrother para pedir no balcao novamente a conta e eu ja estressada a menina a quem eu pedi a coca pela segunda vez, e nao trouxe, percebeu meu estresse e perguntou como poderia ajudar e eu disse que queria a conta, ela trouxe, entreguei o dinheiro e enquanto ela buscava a conta, resolvi olhar melhor o que era cobrado e surpresa, a segunda coca que pedi, porem nunca chegou, estava la sendo cobrada. Conclusao final: nao foram mal educados, porem tem muito a melhorar para esse tipo de coisa nao acontecer, nao esquecer de trazer o pedido do cliente e nao fazer pior ainda, cobrar sem ter trago.
