Welcome 9 Atmosphere 5 Cleanliness 6 Speed of serve 9 Attentiveness 4 Food quality 9 Value for money 8 Drinks 6 We were greeted by a lovely young lady, who was friendly, smiling and took us to a table and gave us menus. The waitress was friendly and took our orders. She promptly came back with drinks and food shortly followed. On trying the drink (cola) is was warm and with barely any fizz. By the time I had finished my starter the ice had fully melted in the drink, making it flatter. The starters were very nice except for the warm, almost wilted salad (could of understood if the plate was hot). Most likely it was prepared in advance and left on the side in the kitchen. Cleanliness take a hit for two reasons, the cocktails menu had pages stuck together not sure what by. The second reason was one out of date condiment in the holder. I would also say the open bottles also say refrigerate after opening, they were all warm and no date when they were opened. I might of said something if we had seen the waitress in the meantime, in fact our mains were arriving bought to us by someone else. On seeing this and quickly cleared the plates. I had almost finished my (almost) flat cola at this point. We didn’t see her again until we had finished our mains. Attentiveness takes a hit as a result, was slightly perplexed are four members of staff making ballon animals while our waitress seemed to be just coping; surely making them before service would of been better. The last markdown atmosphere, simply the music was too loud! The shortfalls were such a shame as the food and staff were great. 56 / 80

Me & my husband tried to come here on Friday the man said it was fully packed and we couldn't get a table but the place was empty. Really loved the food it was really great. For us the meat lovers the Ultimate full rack Ribs was more than enough couldn't even finish them. The service was also amazing. Highly recommend, TGI Fridays I will be back.

What is going on?? Not enough staff to run a full restaurant and people being turned away. And this was on a Monday evening. I highly recommend booking in advance rather than turning up. The only beer available was Guinness, due to ongoing delivery issues. One member of staff told us there had only been two of them trying to serve customers that morning and they had been rushed off their feet. Despite this, they were still delivering service with a smile at 9pm. Our food was good - better than expected - and speed of service was OK, but I think there are some wider problems. Sort it out TGIs - it's not looking good. Your staff deserve better!

Really nice. Enjoyed the food (as expected for TGI, service was good. Would have been nice to have the privacy of the Booths which it didn't seem to have. I think the only downside was when we declined pudding our bill was promptly placed down in front of us, when we would have quite happily stayed for another drink. So they did lose out there.

Not as clean as I would have expected as my glass was still sticky from the previous owners use! Portions were quite small but the food tasted good. Cocktails a bit hit and miss. Well what an experience the meal was absolutely spot on, the cocktails were a little heavy. But the staff were amazing! We had a waiter called Callum he made sure we had the best service! And the staff on entrance were helpful! Thanks Again TGI's! Won't see us again anytime soon as off back home but nonetheless brilliant meal!

Had a great time and the staff were very friendly and helpful to me and my family, especially Jaimey who worked behind the bar. (Even though I accidentally kept using her wrong name!) Delicious food and just the right portions.

We had a little bit of a bad experience, due to the kitchen. Some things were there fault, some weren't. The drinks took a long time to come and we weren't asked for more drinks often enough, they must of been very busy. The grill stopped working just as we were ready to order, this meant we had to either wait and hope or leave. We decided to order some starters that didn't need the grill and wait. The grill came back on 15mins later. We ordered our food (4 adults, 3 kids) one of the kids meals came out and long after she had finished her meal everyone else was still waiting for there's. The rest of the meals finally came. We ordered deserts, the one I wanted wasn't avaliable, which is fine, I picked another. When the deserted came out, another person on our table was told that what they ordered wasn't avaliable. As desserts already came out it was too late for her to order a different one. The food was really delicious and a good price. The waitress tried her best but the kitchen must of been under resourced. I would try this place again hoping for better service on a different day because the food really was lovely. Thank god the kids were patient, it took about 3 hours for the meal.

Must be an employee training site because the service just wasn't quite up to scratch unfortunately. Delays with drinks not explained, serving food by leaning across customers, dropping cutlery (including steak knives) onto customers, incorrect orders (missing so chased then wrong item brought). When it came to pay I think there was either a very bizarre error or an attempt to rip off the till. Apparently the cocktails and desserts couldn't be put through the till so we must pay cash for that part of the bill. Strangly enough when challenged it was suddenly no longer a problem! Food (when correct) was good enough but top tip is to order your steak underdone for how you like it and hopefully it will come out as you expect.

Food is always good, but for a Monday night when it was pretty quiet, I was hoping for a bit more of an attentive service. We had to ask for cutlery, and serviettes for, starters, mains, and desserts as each time, there were none forthcoming. We also had to repeat a request for refills of our drinks. Food was delicious but the service was so poor. Sat a while before we were acknowledged and order taken. Had the chicken starter as a main and asked for extra salad and literally just had green lettuce thrown in the bowl with it. Disappointing salad to say the least and awful presentation. Then sat for 25 mins having finished our mains and drinks totally forgotten about. . Whilst our waiter walks past us, ignores the empty plates and carried on, more interested in serving his two big tables and getting baloon hats. TGIs use to have super outgoing friendly serving staff to go with the American style. Definitely gone down hill . And the loo floors, ladies are disgusting.

5 stars to JOSH at TGI's Bournemouth. So much to do and lots of tables to attend to (on his own) and he did it very efficiently and professionally. Didn't love the fries as they were meant to be vegan loaded fries, but were not really loaded with anything., just a small drizzle of a sauce really, not not very filling. But that's not Josh's fault, so still 5 stars to him. and 3 for the food.

We have literally just been here, our server Josh was so lovely and friendly. We were served quickly and the food was really good, plenty of food as well and not bad for the price. I had sesame seed chicken with a tenesee bbq sauce. My bf had steak it was cooked perfectly still very tender and delicious. Wanted to visit a TGI for ages and I wasn't disappointed.

Food was nice, especially the garlic chips. They're clearly understaffed though, which seemed to put pressure on the waiters. We managed to just get a table although they seemed reluctant. People arriving 45 minutes after us though were turned away unless they had bookings. Book in advance!

We came here to eat today with our friends cause we love TGI-s but we were very dissapointed in this store. Service wasn’t great and they had enough servers and the restaurant wasn’t that busy either. Toilets were really really dirty and the cocktails tasted really watery. I really like TGI. Service is great, there is a great selection of tasty food. It might not rock everyone's boat, but I like it, its tasty and well presented and good value. Couldn't believe how spacious it was in contrast to some places, nice to put comfort over takings. The location is a positive in the sense that very convenient for cinema but the negative is that there aren't enough spaces in the car park in summer or blockbuster movie first night. But that's not TGI's fault and big thanks to staff for holding and moving booking when explained we were stuck in car park queue.

Very friendly staff, managed to push our booking forward as we were 30 mins early! Very accommodating! Service was very efficient and food arrived quickly which was awesome! Took a little while to get the bill but the staff were busy prioritising other customers and we were not in a huge rush! Overall very pleasant meal and you cannot go wrong with TGI Fridays! Definitely a safe bet if you’re looking for scrumptious food in BH2!

Was in Bournemouth for holiday/partners birthday and we decided to pop in here for food. (06/08/22, 1pm ish) ...Callum served us and he was happy, bouncy, and quick at getting drinks etc for us. He took the time to explain to the kids what food was good (and answered their million questions on how he juggles bottles and why he has all the badges etc, poor guy haha). Whilst doing this, our youngest decided to tell him it was his dad's birthday, much to dad's embarrassed face 🤣 .... the quick lunch then turned into a proper celebration, cake, singing, clapping and everything a birthday should be. It was brilliant and it really made it feel more like a birthday. Would definitely visit again if we're in Bournemouth. Its really hard to find places where the kids are made to feel they matter as well as the adults, its really refreshing. Thanks again Callum!

We had a group of 8 tonight and were lucky enough to get a table without booking. Our server was Ethan? He was patient and helpful, but very unsupported by any other staff working there. He was looking after many tables and there were girls just grouped together chatting. We had no cutlery, napkins or drinks. Dirty glasses were provided. And we had to clear our own plates. Our food came out very slowly and at different times, we had a wait of 10 mins between some mains being served. Ethan was great, chasing up our food, and checking in on us. It's a shame others don't support each other.

TGI Fridays is a great hang out, for the family or for groups to enjoy the scenery and style of an americanised restaurant. The Bournemouth beach setting is perfect with the sights and smells of the seaside, then walking into the diner is a joy. This restaurant. As a review is needed, was clean, with friendly staff and excellent service. I went with my family on January the first to Bournemouth beach and as it was very busy down on the beach, this did not stop the service from being top notch. We were seated quickly and professionally and the meals were brought out all together quite promptly. I didn't have any negative feelings thought out my visit and would definitely come here again.

TGI's is and always will be one of my favourite restaurants, i love American food and this certainly delivered!! The Jack Daniels sauce is one of the best sauces that has ever passed my lips.... Its such a treat to have this sauce, and im glad its exclusive to TGI's! Service was easy and fast and the food is always perfect. One of my favourite meals or even as a starter is the jack Daniels seasame chicken strips! I must also mention the cocktails, so scummy, i always have the purple rain👌🏼

Great range of delicious food is served here. Customer service was friendly and timely. Burger was huge and I couldn't finish it all. It was fairly good but I was not a fan of the bacon or cheese inside the it, but there were many add-ons for menu items, for example, getting your side of fried 'loaded' by adding several toppings to them. Starters were very unique and tasty too. Overall, a rather good experience.

Really really beautiful food in this place, it is all freshly cooked, the burgers are completely to die for and don’t even get me started on the mozzarella sticks and even taste better in a burger, this place might be a little bit more expensive than some other places but it is definitely worth the money when everything is made fresh. If you love milkshakes like me then you need the Oreo milkshake it’s beautiful. There are lots and lots of different varieties of cocktails as well I had the pineapple one and it was completely insane and they also did 2 for 1 deal which was really nice of them This place can get super busy so if I was you I would book a table especially on a weekend or when there is an event in Bournemouth town! The staff seem very lovely and the restaurant is clean and well organised

Always receive amazing customer service here ! The staff are so helpful and friendly. There was a New York Taxi and a Harley Davidson bike on display. The seating, lighting and decor is very eye catching and there is a very comfortable atmosphere here. The chicken with Jack Daniels sauce is absolutely mouth watering. We tried the Cocktails and Mocktails, including Pinà Colada, which was amazing. Reasonable prices for restaurant food, and great value when you consider service and the experience as a whole.

We went on Saturday 4th December as we went to see the Christmas trees but of course it was so busy and wanted somewhere to eat. We queued on the off chance as they were so busy, we were told if we could wait half an hour we could sit on the end of the higher benches, so that was lovely. Sat down and had a drink and then called over to our table before the time they gave us. Josh was our waiter for the night and we couldn't ask for any better, they were so busy but that didn't matter as he was there for you. The food was fantastic. Thank you

I was shown to my table straight away, despite not having a booking. They asked if I had any allergies and upon telling them I'm allergic to nuts, they gave me a barcode to scan for the allergen menu. It took roughly 20 minutes for them to take my order. I kept smiling and nodding at all the servers who walked past me, but none of them stopped to ask if I was ready to order until I asked them if I could order. Approximately 20 minutes later my food arrived. The quality of the corn on the cob, ribs and fries were great, especially the onion rings. I wasn't impressed with the slaw - there was no flavour to it. I also tried the #instastoli which was quite refreshing and all the flavours were balanced very nicely. However, I could not taste any alcohol whatsoever and after ordering a large glass of it, I thought I might feel some effects..!

I came in last night for my birthday. Our server was Josh and he was the most polite and helpful person. I had the best time even tho I was embarrassed when they got me up to sing Happy Birthday. Highly recommend as the food was outstanding. Gold star for Josh x

DOUBLE CHECK BOOKING AREA AS COMMONLY CONFUSED! I wanted to book for the Bournemouth tgi fridays but booked for the West Quay one because on the booking it said Bournemouth West Quay only to find out that West Quay is in Southampton!! According to a random waitress we spoke to this is a common mistake. Very annoyed about that, lucky to get a table for 8 but would be very angry if got turned away. Otherwise! The food was great, drinks were great, birthday celebration was amazing and delightful staff, especially Paulina W ! This waitress was amazing in her service and kindness, lots of praise for her!

Me, my husband and our daughter have visited quite a few of the Tgi Fridays chains but this one is the best by far in our opinion! Cannot fault anything. We hadn’t booked a table but called up and asked if there were any spaces and a lovely and very polite girl called Sofia (I think!) told us that they had the space for us. We arrived soon after and the same girl that I had spoken to on the phone took us to our table and it was the warmest welcome we have ever had in a restaurant! She even came over whilst we were waiting for our starters and gave our daughter a balloon dog and had a little chat to her which made her day. Shortly after we’d been sat we were seen by our server Tom who was amazing from start to finish; very attentive and answered any questions that we had with no issue whatsoever. Service was very fast as well and he was so friendly. The restaurant was quite busy and we could see he had quite a few other tables but his attention to detail was still spot on. 11/10 service! All of our food was fantastic, even my husband who tends to be a bit of a complainer couldn’t stop raving about his burger! I had a steak which is what I usually get at Tgi Friday’s but this one was cooked to absolute perfection so props to whoever in the kitchen made it! Thank you to all of the staff for making our experience here so fab, we will definitely be back!

I so enjoyed my visit, which was a treat from the family. Food was good, well presented and portions were generous. Seating was comfortable, and our server was attentive and very accommodating with us. I did, however, feel for a number of guests who were waiting to be attended to, and what seemed like an avoidable delay. However, the service was a little slow and we (a group of 6) had to ask for things which we had ordered but had been forgotten (drinks and some of the sides we had ordered). The general staff were polite but the supervisors/managers seemed to have no idea what was going on! We could actually see our order sat on the counter, getting cold for ages, before they finally sent our waitress over with our food. It became a bit of a running joke on our table, guessing how long it would take for the 2 supervisors to figure out which order was for which table.....however, a couple on the table next to ours actually got up and left because their order was taking so long. The food was nice but be prepared for a wait. Incidentally, it was 7:30pm on a Friday evening and the place was only half full (if that)......I dread to think how long we would have waited for the food had the restaurant been busier!!

I'm a big TGI's lover, the generous portions of outstanding food means you always leave a satisfied customer. It's rare I have a bad experience at TGI's. I've visited the Bournemouth one around 5 times, overall they have been good experiences but there have been some negative ones. TGI's offers a lively American themed environment, the bar always looks spectacular and the drinks available are excellent but quite pricey. The food is lovely, I tend to stick to burgers as they really are something else. When ordering a refillable soft drink be careful, when you order coke and other non sugar-free drinks you'll just get one drink without refills. This is fine but they often don't make you aware of it so you pay the same price for one drink. The staff are usually friendly and attentive but I've had some experiences where they aren't so active with the refills and generally didn't provide amazing service. Overall the food is usually lovely and the atmosphere is brilliant, expect to pay a reasonable amount but it's worth it for the quality.

We generally like TGI's and go fairly often to Tower Park, but really didn't enjoy our visit to this new one. Arrival: Considering we booked in advance for 5.30 and found the restaurant to only have about 6 tables occupied, why were we shown to the worst table possible, the one situated at the end and almost under the kitchen serving hatch. We found this a bit insulting as though the attitude was 'they're middle aged so they probably will accept the worst table without complaint'. We said that we would prefer a quieter table that felt part of the restaurant and were then seated 2 tables away from the staff service area! People who came 30-45 minutes after us were shown straight to those tables. Not a welcoming start. Restaurant: The restaurant was lacking in atmosphere and so cold that I ate my entire meal wearing my puffa coat!! The 4 customers on the big circular table nearby were wearing their jackets and some, their scarves too, during their meal. Decor: I'm sorry to say it, but I hated the decor! Some 'trendy' designer ideas that didn't quite come off. Red and orange upholstered armchairs (horrible cheap looking vinyl) mixed with old fashioned metal 'kitchen' chairs, all thrown together randomly under the same table. The red 'clubby' looking upholstered seating area was right next to this. Trying to be novel and 'different' but not in a good way. Most areas had attractive modern lighting but the large table in the middle had a totally different style (to clash with the different chairs) - a large, ugly, flowery art deco light, very old fashioned and totally unrelated to any other lighting around. The restaurant has a large expanse of curved window all around the building. Some lower panels are still covered up as there are workmen still outside (understandable). However the upper section of this expanse has a horrible wide red and white stripe pattern, like a cheap American ice cream parlour, all the way around. The bar is another style again. Very stylish, shiny and looks like an upmarket cosmopolitan bar. The nicest part of the restaurant and somewhere you would like to sit after work or at the weekend but I'm not sure there was much seating in this area. Outlook: Our table looked onto the entrance foyer that is still totally white and featureless, as it has yet to be finished. This didn't bother us but what we didn't like was the continuous stream of Deliveroo boys who came in on their bikes, just alongside our table on the other side of the glass. They proceeded to take off their cycling gear and helmets and sat down on the floor with their backs right up against our table (glass in between) and started their (presumably student) work on their laptops. We could read their screens, they were so close. One had a bike with a sticker saying F all along the bar. Not what we wanted to look at. Every so often they would jump up from the floor, take their delivery from our restaurant waiter, get dressed again and leave. Then other ones would arrive to take their place. It was like sitting in a third world railway station. Food: We always like TGI's food and cocktails. Our planned visit was brought forward as they mailed us a current Burger promotion. As usual the small print was copious (and small!) but the upshot was that there was only one burger we were allowed to choose from the entire selection - a cheeseburger!! Bit too mean I'd say! Service: The best part of the experience. Our waitress (a petite blonde lady) was delightful, friendly and thoroughly efficient. All the staff seemed very friendly. Even the one who tried to seat us under the serving hatch was friendly, just not very customer savvy. Maybe the restaurant will feel more welcoming and warm come the summer. Not sure I could sit looking at those stripes again, though!

Very slow service considering the amount of staff on and ppl in the restaurant on a monday night .. tried to speed up and help by going to the bar myself but waited for 10 minutes with not a single bar man in sight .. the food was ok and staff were friendly enough and the price wqs reasonable for what we got so 3 stars is good enough .. if u dont mind waitng around then this place will be great for you
