g.I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again.. WOW. For a chain (and a budget chain) what a pub! Staff are outstanding- the friendliest and best service ever.. the food.. well I can safely say I have spent 5x the price and not enjoyed it half as much as I have from here.. you guys and girls are amazing- keep up the good work.. new menu is STUNNING. o. m.I used to come here regularly a few years back when I lived closer and was rarely anything but impressed. Heard positive opinions again recently so decided to visit again.
This was on Wed 2nd Feb between 17:30 & 20:30, which is always a good time of the day and year to gauge a restaurant from my experience in the trade.
I am glad to report that the same high standards seem to have been upheld.
The staff were really alert and attentive along with excellent customer service skills and a great up to date knowledge of the menu (I was informed of absent menu items without having to ask) - unusual and impressive. I was served by a few different staff and all were really professional & polite
My Dad ordered a rare Sirloin which was cooked perfectly (he is a stickler about too) and I had the double dirty stack with a fried egg, both were excellent pub food. I should also add that the 5 pints of San Miguel & 5 pints of Guinness we drank were lovely too, properly poured and fresh tasting too.
A few covers were also present during our time there and their food and service was great too, the sizzling skillets don't seem to ever get old!
Thanks for a great evening amd will be recommending to friends locally and visiting again soon.

C. G.Food was amazing, and the prices were amazing compared to other competitors. Did a visit with 7 of us and it cost us a literal half the price of another place we went before with the same group, and the food was on par if not better in some instances.
Kids menu is fantastic and is full of amazing choices, they are looking forward to another visit. Staff are really friendly and parking is ample.
d. b.My wife and I went in as we had a voucher to use, and so called in . Good value food and drink in what is a pretty lively atmosphere. What stood out to us was the level of service from all members of staff. I mentioned to my wife that the chips could be hotter, and when the waiter (Lewis) came to check on us my wife mentioned this to him. He couldn't have been more apologetic and whilst I was happy to continue with my meal, he insisted that he take the plate and redo the order. We left very happy and will definitely be going back.
S. H.We turned up at 8.45pm not knowing the kitchen shut at 9pm. The staff were still more than happy to serve us food and the food was amazing. My husband had the mixed grill. Everything was cooked perfectly and was fresh. All thr meals were fresh. We were so happy. Thank you
V. S.Even though it's a reduced menu and eating is outside, the food was excellent! It arrived piping hot and quickly, and for the prices, you can't go wrong. Staff are polite, professional and very cheery. Will definitely be going back soon.

P. S.Great place. Good selection of food. Haven't been there since before lockdown. Tables spaced nicely so you didn't feel crowded. Staff very kind and helpful.
