Best vegan place I've been so far and I did visit a couple to be honest 🤭. Cozy and nice. The menu was exceptional, I just couldn't decide what to have. We had a burger and a steak after all... bear in mind vegan ones. They looked great and tasted even better. Need to say the steak was a bit to salty for my taste but with the piuree and everything was a perfect match. Very colourful menu I would say, every plate looks like art 🎨 The staff and the service great as well, we were very good looked after. Thanks you guys 😍 Wish you good luck and hope to see you soon again.

The food was the best I've have had at any restaurant. It has a lovely ambience, friendly staff. I would highly recommend this place, I'm not a vegan but I'm interested in it. 100% the best vegan restaurant I have been to yet! The food here is incredible. They serve a large range of organic drinks, including non alcoholic cocktails. There is a brilliant choice of starters, mains and desserts. Most of the meal is also gluten free. The atmosphere is cool and relaxed. My partner and I loved our visit to Twelve Eatery🍸🌊 Perfect place for our date night, with a wonderful waitress who offered suggestions and kindly assisted us with our every need! The decor was beautiful, providing such a chill vibe to our dining experience. The cocktails were simply stunning and equally delicious😍 whilst the food was INCREDIBLE!! We had the vegan ‘seafood’ linguini and the tofu ‘fish’ and chips followed by the Eton mess for dessert, all of which were delicious, we couldn’t believe they were even vegan!! 🌱 Thank you for such a great evening, definitely worth the money- a definite for vegans in or visiting Bournemouth!

Phenomenal. Family meal to celebrate my daughters graduation and this restaurant delivered on our occasion. Really friendly staff. It had been reccomended by several friends and another local vegan restaurant owner. Five of us so we pretty much tried one of each starter and loved them all, and had 4 of the mains, every dish carefully considered and paired, my burger was excellent, as was the steak, jackfruit and mushroom tasty indeed, if they had a weak dish it was the battered tofu (just not enough flavour and needed some mushy peas to join the chips). Brilliant choice of desserts. Great cocktail drinks menu. Suitably expensive for an occasion. Please come to Southsea?

Vegan restaurant in the heart of Bournemouth serving delicious dishes using fresh ingredients complemented by a wide selection of organic drinks alcoholic and non-alcoholic. My wife and I were in Bournemouth for a few days and came across this gem, thoroughly recommended to anyone in Bournemouth wanting to eat Vegan food open for brunch/lunch and dinner some options only available before 1pm. We opted for the Tempura, Tofu Omelette, avocado on toast and a chocolate brownie for dessert, the food was great and service staff especially Daisy were great throughout. Impressive protective barriers between tables to ensure segregation for Covid too!

Really lovely place to eat! Our son has a milk allergy so we found this restaurant on google as it is solely vegan and we thought the menu looked good. We had some of the cool pressed drinks, I had awaken (green one) and my partner had hydrate (orange one), both very nice and refreshing. The food was truly delicious, the beer battered tofu and chips was just like fish and chips and I highly recommend this dish for anyone planning on visiting. We have come to Bournemouth on holiday but will visit again when we come back next year!!

I visited here in the summer with two of my non-vegan friends, in hope to get them to try some vegan food ☺️ Well not only did they love it, they were calling me the next day to say that they were left with wanting even more because they enjoyed it so much! The food was incredible, the service was amazing and everyone was so friendly. Explained everything and gave us recommendations. This is now my favourite plant-based restaurant, just need to plan a trip to Bournemouth, and it is so worth it!! Unfortunately, I completely forgot to take photos of the my main meal but this was my starter which was the soup of the day. I was skeptical but went with the recommendation and I’m so glad I did 😋

In my opinion the coolest place in Bournemouth. I am not a vegan and I would happily go back again. My girlfriend visited with a friend and loved it that much that we then visited together. I had a lovely experience coming down to Twelve Eatery! 🍲 The food: The restraunt has an amazing assortment of vegan options that are seafood orientated. My partner and I ordered the "fish" and chips as well as the "seafood" linguini with a side of tempura "prawns". All three dishes were excellent and tasted very distinctly of the dishes they were trying to emulate. 🍸The Drinks: Many of the cocktails are cruelty free and tasted bizarre and unique, with flavours being incorporated in ways I had never seen before, such as our cocktail infused with dill 🥒! 🖼 The scenery: a beautiful natural atmosphere with hanging foliage and natural light that flowed through the skylight above our head. 👨‍✈️ The service: simply put: excellent, friendly, and responsive. Our waitress was a delight to have a conversation with and did not hesitate to answer any questions about the meals we ordered. Overall, the experience was one that I would reccomend to anyone, both lovers of animals as well as seafood. I will definitely be visiting Twelve Eatery anytime I return to Bournemouth ⛱.

I usually come here and get great service! It's top notch trustable vegan food! Also they have a brilliant gluten free selection! They have spent months working on making their cheesecake gluten free! So dedicated to their craft! Honestly the food is great! The best vegan place in Bournemouth! The food was absolutely amazing and the staff and owners are so friendly. We tried the full english breakfast which was the best I have had. No too bland like some other places. The vegan sausage was amazing, as well as the scramble tofu. My husband tried a truffle mushroom sauce on a polenta, with a side of mac and cheese - absolutely divine! We finished with the dulce de leche cheesecake which was incredible. I cannot recommend this place enough! So nice inside too. Definitely worth a visit.

We took our Dad to twelve on Saturday for his Birthday. He had the happiest face the whole time with the biggest smile, firstly because he loved the food and secondly because we had the most fantastic waitress Daisy. She was so much fun with Dad and the family and made him feel really special. Thank you so much Daisy for making the experience the best and to all the chefs for preparing the best food! Went for t first time with my bestie on a Sunday without reservation. We just walked in and the lovely waitress gave us a table. She was so charming and polite. We ordered 3 different things to try and everything was spot on! The parmesan truffle chips are divine. Definitely coming back to try the rest of the menu!

What an amazing vegan restaurant. We were there for our 5 year anniversary and had an amazing time. First off the all important food. It was beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looked, I tried some of my partners tofu fish and chips, which was flakey, salty, and moist, everything you want from a fish replacement. I had the B12 Burger, with parmesan truffle chips, and Shrubbery Cocktail. The burger was hearty and very filling, to the point where we shared a dessert because the portions were so filling. The atmosphere was welcoming and not at all intimidating. The staff were a major credit to the restaurant as they were all lovely, informative, and attentive. I genuinely cannot remember a time where the staff have made an experience as good as the staff did last night. I have nothing but positives for this restaurant and would recommend it to vegans and non vegans alike. For 2 mains, a dessert and 4 drinks, we were expecting to be paying a lot more than we did.

We booked a table for dinner at twelve while on a short weekend break to Bournemouth especially for my friend who is vegan’s birthday. Even though many restaurant are offering more vegan options it was nice for her to have complete choice of everything on the menu. Twelve is nicely decorated and they have put protective screens up between tables to make it more covid safe. The food is beautiful, inventive and delicious. Being pescatarian but more plant based myself there were so many dishes on the menu that I wanted to try it was hard to decide. The menu is a mixture of, wholesome and comfort food classics, all plant based without being too healthy (raw, fermented) or too dirty vegan (fake meat burger or dirty vegan fries) Everything we had was delicious that we decided to book a reservation for brunch/Sunday lunch the next day which was also really good. Definitely worth a visit if you are vegetarian/vegan or if you’re a foodie looking to eat more plant based meals

WoW WoW I am not a vegan but my daughters are and I like to try new things. I suppose what intigued me here is these are dishes I would have in a meat restuarant. Scallops.....okay so the texture is different but the smell, taste was very close. Burger.....I prefer my medium rare so this is more chargrilled. Frankly I didn't care as it was so good. Cocktails...where do we start...so many lovely flavours. Okay its not cheap but you get what you pay for. Lovely restaurant. Great Service. Give it a try...even if you are not vegan. I wouldn't hesitate to go back and the other non-vegans in the group agreed!

Truly incredible experience! Came to Twelve on a recommendation and wow we were so glad we did. The burgers were incredible as were the truffle parmesan fries and the cheesecake was one of the best things I've ever eaten in my life. Twelve was FANTASTIC. The food is delicious, the beef burger is best I’ve had in a long time and I’m a meat eater too. The staff are super friendly and efficient. I watched them clean down and it was so thorough. The wine was delicious too and finally just when we thought it couldn’t get any better they served us a coconut cheesecake which was to die for!!! You must visit this restaurant.

Delicious food, great people, and a welcoming atmosphere! Was so impressed by the quality of the food and service at Twelve. We visited around lunchtime time today, right before Christmas, and had such a lovely time. The atmosphere is so uplifting and relaxed and everyone we spoke to was extremely friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is kept sparkling clean and there are dividers at each table. We didn't need to book in and when we arrived, there were a good amount of people in the front room but it wasn't crowded. I would not hesitate at all to visit again. If you're thinking of coming, I would highly recommend!!

As a vegan I’ve been to a fair few vegan places in London and I can say none of them stood up to the standards of Twelve Eatery. My boyfriend took me here for my birthday and we had a delicious three course meal - the photos speak for themselves! I loved the interior too and it was super relaxed but cosy. We visited Twelve Eatery on 14th July 2019. This organic vegan restaurant in the Triangle area of Bournemouth town centre is on the site of an old fried chicken takeaway and has been running since the start of 2019. In this time, it has built quite a reputation for good food. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and we were seated in the front area of the restaurant. There is also a dining area further back, past the bar, which has a bright ‘orangery’ skylight - perfect for brunch or lunch time dining. The place has a great relaxed vibe. Service is quick but not rushed and the food totally lived up to expectations. Beautifully prepared and presented, it tasted excellent. The menu design and execution is top class at a level you’d expect from fine dining. It is obvious that the restaurant takes care to think of everything: from the 100% compostable napkins through to ingredients sourced from around the region (tomatoes from the Isle of Wight). The restaurant is licensed and has a good range of organic vegan wines and beers.They also do a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails. Will definitely go again, probably to try out the brunch options. This restaurant is highly recommended.

Very nice food, varied menu and friendly staff too. The restaurant itself is a little souless compared to the other vegan establishments in the area (being more of a "traditional" restaurant). This will definitely appeal to those that like their restaurants a little more formal, with emphasis on organic produce too. What a find, absolutely wonderful Vegan restaurant in the heart of Bournemouth. The whole menu covers a broad range of food too, and everything we tried was fantastic. I love the decor, food, good drinks selection, and all ethical too. If I had one gripe, maybe my vegetables were a little soft, but they tasted as good as everything else, outstanding. The 'Scallops and Chorizo' starter was my personal favourite, no idea how they made it taste that good.

To say that I had a great meal here would be an understatement. Friends organised a visit for my stag do and I was just so impressed with the food, the ambience and the staff. I have never seen more attentive front of house staff who are keen to make sure that every aspect of your visit is good - even down to swapping out the empty bottles of water on the table routinely throughout the night. The food was fantastic. The salt baked celeriac starter was a highlight! Great textures and flavours - just a really exciting start to the meal. The main was the tofu "fish" and chips. I'm very picky with tofu so was a little dubious to begin with, but I was again very pleasantly surprised. The espresso was bloody gorgeous and the dessert... I would sell my soul for more of that cheesecake. Just overall a fantastic evening. Would highly recommend.

Organic, plant-based food, made and served by kind people in a relaxing atmosphere. In Twelve the ambience is very welcoming and laid-back with modern furniture and well-designed lighting. I like the clean and organised interior, minimalistic and also chic. When I first went in, I only enquired about the menu and had a casual chat with one of the owners. Great energy and positive attitude I sensed. The food I tried today was delicious and beautifully presented. I was asked to tell my thoughts, which I appreciated very much and been honest about my experience. There is always room for improvement, and listening to the customers' feedback is definitely a plus. So far I can recommend trying the burger, the chocolate and stem ginger torte, and also the fresh mint tea. All brilliant. I'll be back for more definitely. I worked for years at a Michelin starred restaurant in NYC and this was on par in terms of the quality of food and service. The food was vegan - yet had the same texture and taste of meat products. Scallops were amazing, I will definitely be going back! Casual fine dining atmosphere...superb.

Staff are really friendly and lovely to talk to. Food is ok, I had the burger and truffle fries. Its pretty tasty, just not that exciting for the price...its a pretty pretentious burger. It's that kind of upmarket establishment its a very expensive place. Charging £4 for a tiny bowl of nuts! Etc. If you got the cash to splash then go for it. If you're just looking for a place to just get some good honest vegan grub this isn't the place.

We all need to be properly nourished to flourish. I can't think of better place in the UK to serve and satisfy my body and soul than Twelve Eatery. Dalton, Greg and their team lovingly prepare clean, green, organic, vegan food that I know will help to keep my cells and the planet healthy and happy. However, the experience of Twelve is so much more. The devoted attention that has gone in to the varied offerings on the menu, the careful balance of flavours, the exquisite presentation of the dishes and the stylish decor is something to truly relish and cherish. Forget fine dining. This is divine dining at its best. Bournemouth is blessed to have such a rare jewel amongst the traditional pubs, typical food chains and tourist traps. I can't wait for my next excuse to visit!!!

Despite the menu looking impressive, the food does not deliver as expected. I had the Feijoada which was quite good but was not all that impressed with flavours or the meats (for example the whole chunks of slightly falvourless jackfruit). Tried the steak too, which leaves much to be desired. We’ve been visiting Twelve since it opened and I could easily write an essay on how absolutely amazing this restaurant is! From the food to the service to the decor to the owners and staff, it’s the pinnacle for (plant based) dining and is, without a doubt, an absolute must visit, regardless of your dietary preferences. Every visit we are welcomed by smiles and friendliness. The atmosphere is always relaxing and warm. The service is polite and kind and they all know the answers to any questions regarding food and drink that they serve. This sounds an obvious expectation but so many places we’ve eaten, they really stumble over questions such as does this dish contain gluten for example. These guys are on it like a car bonnet. The menu is always exceptionally appealing and creative, the choices are restricted to a degree so you’re not overwhelmed with too much choice and they nail every…single…dish. The drinks menu is equally as creative with our whole family exploring the healthiest of juices. It’s all organic and everything just oozes healthiness. The food exceeds expectations, honestly! You read the menu and think, that sounds properly lush but when it comes out, it’s so freakin’ tasty you saviour every mouthful (this is where mindful eating should come into play so you truly focus on all the tastes). They balance seasoning and spice perfectly, so much balanced flavour! Intolerances such as gluten free are catered for without batting an eyelid. GF is clear on the menu, there’s plenty of options and if you ask they’ll go over and above with options on other dishes if possible. This is exactly how it should be done. I cannot express how much care, love and attention goes into every thing the staff in this restaurant deliver. Greg and Dalton run a smooth well oiled machine and this transforms your dining experience. I genuinely want these guys to succeed beyond all their expectations as they are honestly such lovely people who care about you, their customers and your time in their restaurant. Great spot for some tasty, refined vegan food! My wife has had to swap over to being dairy free and I wanted to treat her to something special for her birthday. Lovely relaxed atmosphere, very chic, and a great setup for social distancing by using unobtrusive perspex screens between tables. Waiting staff were attentive and friendly but gave you space. We enjoyed a fantastic ginger mocktail and a green smoothie which tasted like mint choc chip. The drinks are big and there's a huge drinks menu that would take a while to get through! Our mains were a good size and really tasty. We chose to share a pad Thai and cheeseburger between us. The burger had a great texture and a good amount of salad, gherkins and burger sauce, all in a smooth bun. The taste reminded me of a more refined (and bigger) McDonald's burger, but much more enjoyable. The hand cut chips were excellent and we were also really pleased with an extra side dish of truffle Mac n cheese that we ordered. Meal was beautifully wrapped up with a shared brownie dessert. I would have liked to try the coffee's but I was too full to enjoy anything else. Will definitely be back

I had that and the mac and cheese which if you want a good vegan mac and cheese then it's great but it was the flavour of the scallops dish that was just incredible. I live in the New Forest, which borders Hampshire and Dorset. And fnding quality vegan food in in these areas is a challenge. Too many vegans feed disease and ill health in their bodies by consuming vegan junk foods, such as vegan burgers and pizzas - gluten is not digestible by anyone and causes ill health. And most chefs take the easy route out by offering vegans options such as vegan pasta dishes, vegan burgers or chili. Without taking into consideration us vegan who cannot eat gluten or chili 🌶 dishes. Which leave NOTHING on the menu for us. I often wonder if that is not discrimination? So, it was with delight that I came across Twelve in Bournemouth. The restaurant is both modern and lush looking with many 'posh' looking touches to it. Adam, the waiter, was both very professional and friendly and the menu was brilliant. We don't drink alcohol, so where delighted to see healthy fresh fruit and veg juices on the menu - sorry, I forgot to photograph that side of the menu 😕 We both had a delicious veg juice each. My husband, who can eat chili, opted for the Pad Thai and I had the Caesar Salad. Turned out the Pad Thai wasnt spicy at all, so we went half and half. We love our greens, so we both benefited from the mix 😁 Highly recommend Twelve restaurant and we will be returning soon.

I was skeptical going into Twelve Eatery, a friend of a friend had recommended it, I am not vegan nor have I ever eaten at a vegan restaurant but I was proven incredibly wrong. The place itself is kept very clean and has a pleasingly simple decor. Really couldn't fault them for how clean and tidy it was in there. Cutlery was clean and shiny. The food is interesting and very tasty, unfortunately I wasn't hungry enough to try lots of it so I went for the Vegetable Tempura which I would highly recommend. My companions had the burritos with Jackfruit and they were delicious. Never had jackfruit before and never believed it when people would liken it to pork but the fruit is actually similar to pork. Two of us had cocktails which we could see being made properly at the bar and the other had a flavoured ginger beer. Everything tasted great. Service can't be faulted, our server checked in on us during the meal and promptly took our orders and delivered the bill when asked. Was nice to hear the staff chatting and enjoying each others company too. Twelve Eatery has encouraged me to branch out and try more veggie and vegan meals. I would recommend this place to anyone vegan and non-vegan.

OMG! I am flabbergasted! I had an oat milk latte and a brownie with vanilla ice-cream as dessert. The atmosphere was stunning. The lighting is so serene and relaxing. I walked in to find my nostrils passionately caressed by a whole concoction of beautifully fragrant aromas. The latte (with Oat milk) gave the illusion of a rich, creamy and smooth decadent coffee- It was so well balanced. The oatyness of the milk, combined with the bitterness of the coffee made for a morish drink, that you could so easily devour! The brownie and vanilla ice-cream - I honestly haven't got the words. And even if I did, the mere articulation of words couldn't justify it's elegance of flavours. If this is what fine dining is like for soneome who is Vegan, then definitely count me in. It was unlike anything I've ever had. Rating this place anything under 4* would be based purely on pettiness. I will definitely visit again.
