So glad we have this Resturant on our doorstep. We’ve had a few meals (delivered) from here now and the food is always hot, very tasty & fresh and the delivery drivers are so polite. Most importantly, the poppadoms are whole and crispy. Yes, there are some restaurants who think soggy poppadoms are acceptable 🙄

Wow! What a fabulous meal my sister and I had here this evening. Although I’ve lived in Kenfig Hill for 3 years I’ve never been to the Swaddesh but now I’ll definitely make this a favourite place to go! The food was amazing and the service was fabulous. The restaurant was so clean and the ambience was really nice and even though we were in quite early and were the only ones in there we felt relaxed and had a really good time 🤗

Fab decor, tables nicely spaced out, so diners are not on top of each other. Great service. The food was delicious, really enjoyed the sweet and creamy korma. Excellent chef! Loved the meal and look forward to coming here again.

Food was excellent like it always is i opted not to go for chips as they are not great so had bombay aloo for potatoes instead and wasn't disappointed. Lovely food and great service.

I have to say that that was the best curry that I have had in a long time and I live near Bradford. Not only was the food fantastic but also the service was very impressive. We wanted the food cooked in a certain way and they were very helpful and delivered a very tasty meal. Hats off to you guys, well done and thank you. We will be back.

Bang average. We had 3 curries, some naan, salad, samosas and the soy chicken dish you csn have as a main or starter.... forgot it's name because it was worth forgetting. There was nothing distinctive or amazing about anything really which was a shame.

We ordered a meal for delivery and were told 20.30. This was then revised to 20.55. We called at 21.10 to ask where our meal was to be told it's on it's way. At 21.30 we phoned again to be told it left 5 minutes before. I asked why we had been lied to earlier to be told the kitchen was busy. I give three stars because when our meal finally arrived an hour and 10 minutes late it was quite nice. The service was horrendous and I can only imagine the lady on the phone was having a terrible time as she had clearly lost the will to live. Order only if you dont care when you eat.

18 of us attended this place, for one of our friends birthday. Had really good time. Really friendly staff with outstanding service and the really mouthwatering dishes, specially the Pearl Murgh. Very beautiful presentation of all the dishes that we had. Recommended, probably the best indian I have had in South Wales for a long time.

I have had take aways from the Bengal Lounge for the past 4 years and recently they seem to have come off the boil so to speak. Wrong items in your take out and what was concerning... chicken in a vegetarian dish. Good job she's okay with chicken! Suggest you best check before you leave as they will replace however another 30 minutes and a drive... well.

Ordered chicken tikka masala and peshwari naan online. Food arrived warm and in good time, delivery dude was well dressed and polite. The food was delicious, no complaints at all. The cherry on the icing was a Budweiser I hadn’t ordered in the bag as what I can assume is a goodwill gesture. You’ve got a loyal customer tonight, keep up the good work!

All staff are polite, they almost always open the door on entering and leaving and are always making sure that the meal and experience we have at the Bengal lounge is at the highest of standards, we go every outher week now and are really getting to know the staff, one time a very polite member of staff advised my girlfriend to try something different she took his word for it and boi was she happy ,
