M. T.The best shellfish and oyster bar in Brighton! I’ve not been keen on seafood but after visiting this place it changed my opinion on seafood. Their lobster roll is highly recommended along with their other selection of seafood rolls and dishes they do; including their various of sauces which goes very well with all dishes! I would definitely come back to this place with no doubt there was too much delicious selections so need another trip to try everything; the staff is extremely helpful and friendly!
P. P.Located at the sea front and the oysters 🦪 are freshly prepared and very tasty.
They have a wide range of seafood 🦞 to choose from.
As we are traveling a bit further the staff help us to pack some ice packs with the food.

R. D.This little shack was excellent. We had dinner at an upscale restaurant the previous night and I noticed a difference in the oyster sizes. The same jersey oysters here were huge and an absolute steal at 6 for 10£! Nice little seating area at the back too.

S. O.My wife had a crab roll and loved it! Unfortunately, my lobster was pretty poor. I should have realised that doing lobster well would be too much to ask for a bar like this. Don't go expecting the world from a really difficult, fancy dish. I suggest getting something slightly more basic as they do that well.
Edit. Very professional response from owner. I certainly would visit again if I'm in Brighton. My wife did really enjoy her crab roll!

J. S.Had THE MOST delicious cockles, fresh crab roll and fantastic oysters at the Brighton Shellfish & Oyster Bar yesterday. Had to go back for seconds with the oysters - couldn’t get enough!! Service was fabulous and we loved sitting at the table and chairs around the back, looking out towards the sea. Couldn’t ask for a more perfect place to stop and grab lunch, dinner or just a snack! I will definitely be back.
O. M.A lovely place to have some fresh oysters with a sea view. We had 6 large Jersey oysters for 8.5 pounds, and they were absolutely delicious.

They were serving a limited menu, kipper, smoked mackerel, crab or fish fingers in a roll , and canned cold drinks. We had the smoked mackerel in a roll, which was lovely. Great little place to watch the world go by, and the lady serving obviously loves her job.We'll definitely be going again. I'll take baby wipes, next time. Smoked mackerel smell is hard to get off your fingers !!!

M. M.nice little place, good cold seafood selection. The person who served me had a really nice demeanour and fully warned me about the aggressive seagulls! If you eat at the small seating area they have at the side you are pretty safe but be extremely careful if you take anything onto the beach. That is seagull territory! I fell victim to a seagull raid and I lost my tub of crayfish to them but like I say, he did warn me first! Would definitely stop by for some oysters again.

Here you can score fresh fish, lobster rolls and oysters for next to nothing! Everything is mega fresh and the man and woman who help you are very cheerful and very friendly. The oysters (Tara and I feast on them!) Cost only 1 GBP and can be customized on the side of the cart with lemons, pepper, tabasco and vinegar. Nothing like slurping fresh oysters on the beach with sun on your face! Really a must-visit for the ultimate summer feeling!

Als het lekker weer is en je lekker langs de boulevard aan het flaneren bent, maak dan zeker even een stop bij deze mobiele viskraam. Hier scoor je verse vis, lobster rolls en oesters voor een prikkie! Alles is megavers en de man en vrouw die je helpen zijn heel opgewekt en heel erg vriendelijk. De oesters (Tara en ik smullen er van!) kosten slechts 1 GBP en kun je aan de zijkant van de kar customizen met citroentjes, peper, tabasco en azijn. Er gaat niets boven verse oestertjes slurpen aan het strand met zonnetje op je gezicht! Echt een must-visit voor het ultieme zomergevoel!
