Reviews of Madeira Brighton
E. B.
An absolutely wonderful meal and the staff were first class.
Friendly polite and knowledgeable they were very patient and watching them interact with other customers they were absolutely fantastic.
The meal was really nice and we really enjoyed it very open restaurant with wonderful views of the Sea, Beach and Pier.
I don't hesitate to recommend this venue and if you're in the area you owe it to yourself to check it out.
Good but affordable food with friendly professional staff a credit to the chain.
S. P.
Flat bread wraps with crispy chicken. The salad was a bit in the skimpy side. the lime and mint cordial was a winner two lunches and two non alcoholic drinks for under 30
A. G.
Nice atmosphere freandly service and food was decent definitely better than other harvester have visited
S. S.
Not the best harvester I have been to.
Selection was very poor they had sold out of several things and choosing was hard as options were limited.
The salad was fresh and the food was nice but service slow and the fact they didn't have several things has put the overall experience down for me.
M. D.
We regularly travel here for breakfast as it is by far the best Harvester around. Tara usually serves us, she’s always happy and helpful! In summary an excellent breakfast accompanied by exceptional service, what more you you ask for?!
A. N.
Have been here a few times. The manager who does not resemble Dave Myers of the hairy bikers whatsoever is always friendly and welcoming.
Couple of minor things which let it down slightly, seems like they need a couple more staff. Waiting staff always friendly and running around like mad but means service is slightly impacted waiting to order waiting for plates to clean away waiting for bill etc. a lot of tables sit empty and dirty as staff are so busy they can't turn them around quick enough. Staff are so busy they can't be as attentive as they want to be to their guests.
Second thing, the plates are always hotter than the sun but food is not. Suspect it sits under a hot light for a while before coming out to your table which heats the plate up to 1000 degrees but allows food to cool. Again, probably as there aren't quite enough staff that food sits out for a while before they can bring it to you.
Carpet could do with a deep clean.
Overall better than most Harvester restaurants, wouldn't take a lot for it to be outstanding as the location and view is great and the staff they have are great.
R. L.
A long time since we visited this establishment. The food and service were first rate and the complimentary salad starter was an unexpected bonus.
I am rather deaf but the waitress spoke clearly without me having to ask her to. I had no difficulty hearing her. This is unusual in so many places nowadays and before leaving I thanked her for this. These kind of social skills make so much difference. Thank you.
F. A.
Terry was BRILLIANT
Made the entire meal an absolute joy and even tho we’re from half way up the country, we’ll definitely be coming back!
Food was very lovely as well, compliments to the chef
S. S.
Really great staff, brilliant food, we had a fab Time and really enjoyed ourselves.
C. R.
Table of 12 served by the delightful, and helpful George. A credit to your organisation, and someone who should go far.
Christmas meal was good value with reasonable sized portions.
Someone could advise chef on how to cook vegetables, rather than warming up raw ones.
Apart from that, no complaints.
E. W.
Good for the price. It seems unnecessary to get staff to serve you at the salad bar as you go up with them anyway and stand over the food so don't see the need. Food is not great but it's what I expect from a cheap restaurant.
T. S.
Enjoyed our sausage and egg muffins with hash browns. Great value.fab view looking out at Brighton pier. Service pretty good .
e. v.
Very friendly team the food are delicious and very healthy salds,my favourite dish is smoked ribs with sweet potatoes. 🤩🤩😜😜🤪
R. S.
Sadly not the best meal.
4 people, 2 of which were vegetarians.... £80.00 +
My son had the ribs which was great and he enjoyed these. My main the chicken stacker was dried out 😩but took it home for the cat and he did enjoy it! The vegetarian option of meat free stacker was also dry....? The starters were good. Salad bar OK.
******'The toilets really need a deep clean.... Management need to make this a priority ASAP.*****
The staff are the saving grace of this Harvester. Helpful and friendly service.
S. H.
The Harvester by Brighton Pier/Sealife Centre, didn't realise it was called The Madeira.
Nice food, lots of choice, all with 'free' side salad. Good selection of drinks. Currently they dish up the salad for you which is not a bad idea, it keeps it fresh and tidy. Friendly service with a smile. Good disabled access and facilities, Blue Badge parking on Madeira Drive right next to side entrance.
L. R.
Was served by a waitress called Hailie, who was very pleasant and very welcoming. So lovely to come to Brighton for a break, and be impressed with great customer service.
S. C.
We were a party of three, and felt quite safe inside.
There is a member of staff at the salad bar to fill your bowl up with whatever you request. I hope that they maintain this method for hygiene sake. You can still get a refill, ant time that you sent to.
Service was quick, efficient, and servers courteous.
The first night we visited, we arrived too late, 21:00, and had to find somewhere else to eat.
G. A.
Made an error with an earlier review. Thought I was being asked about the seafront. Now taken down. This is my proper review. Good place to eat or just have a drink. Good menu. I recomend the non-meat stack. All the people I met who work here are very helpfull and smile a lot. Great views out to sea in nice surroundings.
A. G.
Great place! Lovely food and very friendly staff. Highly recommended
H. M.
Delicious food, but even better was the outstanding service from Patricia. She was warm, professional and very kind to myself and my wife, who is disabled. Thank you for your patience and consideration.
M. K.
Main meal was good but the salad bar was awful as there was nothing there, no rolls, pasta, and the salad looked dead. Some of the chicken meals were unavailable and it was quite pricey. Our server was very friendly though and she was very chatty and helpful. I understand that being situated right by Brighton Palace Pier that this establishment can be busy and supply issues happen but I can only reflect on my experience on the day
A. W.
Food was good, atmosphere was nice and relaxed, just wasn't easy to get my 3month old baby in to the restaurant due to the stairs. Would definitely go again but maybe not with the baby unfortunately.
G. H.
Our whole family ate here twice during our visit to Brighton. Our first visit was a great experience. Good food, good atmosphere, great personal service by Alice, and all of this prompted our second visit. Second visit was awful. Food was rushed, as in it was slapped together on the plate much like a fast food restaurant. Salad bar was lacking in stock. Service was dire. Clearly understaffed. And to top it off there were a group of loud wine supping young mums who clearly had no control of their even louder and unruly children. In hindsight I wish we hadn't gone back
G. B.
We're told that we would be called to go to salad bar which never happened. I tried the fishcakes which were a little burnt but still ok. Service was quick with mains. They did not have some of the desserts which is not their fault but they could have said when they gave me desserts menu
A. V.
Amazing food , very good selection of drinks, the salad changed. You will be invited to salad bar and choose what you like and the girl will help you. Staff very helpful and friendly.
K.
The food was great, had the dirty burger was very nice. The stuff are friendly, place is clean and tidy very nice views of the pier and beach
D. C.
The food is great, bit pricey but it's worth it. It's near Brighton Pier and Sea life, so you can you can take your lunch on or before visiting those places. I love calamari.
P. N.
Very filling and affordable. Our server was helpful and polite with everything. The Quorn BBQ stack is a must for vegetarians (photo added).
G. D.
Arrived at 19.05, seated promto. 2 bread rolls arrived at our table but no server waited 15 minutes, went to the bar and asked for 3 refills.. 3 staff members looked bewildered "been here 20 mins also drinks please this table here" drink machine OUT OF ORDER only 4 drinks available on refills.
No toilet rolls in ladies or gents.... place not busy for us yo warrant waiting the time we did. A plus the server was nice eventually we he arrived lost 2 stars for the wait period
C. S.
Really good service waiter Terry saw drinks were low and brought free refills really nice atmosphere would visit again
D. H. (.
A nice little harvester on the sea front, let down by both the female and disabled toilets being out of use, the food was up to a decent standard and hot, the only let down were the yummy mummy's with numerous children under 8 running riot. Sorry but asking little Quinton to behave won't work, kids need to be told what to do and you need to back it up with repercussions if they don't. This isn't Harvesters fault but just bad parenting.
K. T.
Lovely staff. Went here to watch the england and scotland match a few months ago, have also been recently and can recommend the sticky bbq chicken wings. Shame they shut the kitchen at 9pm so if your looking to eat later i suggest you look elsewhere.
J. L.
Friendly staff and great location, especially if like us you had just been to the Sealife centre.
Due to Covid the staff serve the salad bar, but no bread rolls were available when we were served.
Be careful of the staff upselling without informing you of additional costs. Although common in the restaurant trade this is a pet hate.
Why the 3 star review, I ordered the 1983 combo and my ribs were cold, yes these were refired on the grill but no real apology was made or adjustment to the bill as I was not able to eat about a 1/3 of the ribs. My wife's meal was also missing the advertised coleslaw but it was not clear if this was replaced by the upsold sour cream. Due to the restaurant being busy I chose not to follow this up as wanted to make the most of our day.
Desserts were well presented and reasonably priced. Great location, let down by upselling and poor quality control from the kitchen.
R. P.
Nice food, nice staff.
You have to wait for a member of staff to come to your table to then take you to the salad bar, you then point at what you want and they put it on your plate...!!
Bit awkward....
Z. B.
Family meal my dad had the mixed grill asked for medium but was very well done and he had to leave the steak. My mum had the simple chicken with a baked potatoe due to intolerances which was fine.
I had the beef burger with chips. Which was ok. Atmosphere was ok priced ok, but the steak was overcooked and all of the mixed grill meat was tough and overdone.
B. D.
Well, that dinner was,nt hot enough, And sprouts bit hard and cold. And apple+ Berry not hot enough and crumble was cheat but not cooked, not enough roast potatoes (3). . I'm very disappointed that awful. .
C. C.
Good food, you know what you are getting. Still can't get your own salad but happy for you to walk around it pointing at what you want.
M. H.
Nicely placed just off from the seafront. Good selection of food on the menu and no really long waiting time for food to arrive.
a. m.
It's a great restaurant. I went there for my birthday fpr 4 years now. The staff are very helpful and the food is great.
C. S.
The staff were so friendly and the desserts were delicious! Great value for money!
p. h.
Food was good quality, staff could not do enough to accommodate us. Would recommend a visit
R. W.
Took my girlfriend on a meal here and it was very nice. Our waitress was very welcoming and kind and the food was delicious alongside with the amazing desserts we had and the harvester BBQ sauce is so yummy with their chips.
T. F.
Came to Brighton for a surprise birthday. After the party the night before we came across the Maderira. We had a lovely breakfast with amazing service , well worth a visit, thank you .
P. L.
Had a great meal here today (Boxing Day 2019)
Friendly and helpful staff and lovely food.
thank you.
Stars updated. 😀
Had a poor experience here 18/05/19.
I like this restaurant and I've been here many times in the past. This time however the food was poor.
Dried out colourless and tasteless versions of the usual food, accompanied with peas that looked like they'd been recovered from a second world war ration pack.
Whatever is going on in the kitchen here needs to be reversed.
I like this restaurant, please fix it.
I've included a picture of the peas. They had little colour in real life.
L. J.
I came in with my family today at 6pm and we all had steaks and I’ve never seen such beautiful diamonds on them! Complements to the grill chef! Great day out in Brighton!
S. P.
On my own and on a restricted diet, the waiter was great, very attentive, vegetarian thai green curry and plenty of salad, nice table with good position , good price
N.
Great food. Great value bottomless breakfast with drinks. George our waiter was superb 👏👌. My daughter brought me here and i am very impressed. Thankyou
V. N.
Lovely place to get some free salad! (With your main meal)
Staff were very friendly and helpful (shout out to George for the service).
The chicken was well seaoned and saturated (same can be said about the beef burger).
Chips were to die for!
Would go again
M. P.
Totally understand that it could be one of the busiest Harvesters in the country due to its location but still it was very dirty... Tables and chairs and toilets - all were a bit shocking.
Service was pretty standard.
G. W.
Excellent professional service from staff. Meals that we required were first class and waitress was very much appreciated. Thank you.
M. T.
Called in for breakfast, very friendly staff who was controlling the service very well considering the COVID restrictions in place. Lovely food and drink. fantastic location. Highly recommended
R. E.
Nice decent ambience to have breakfast.. friendly staff, good service..
W. G.
Good attraction for kids. Well organised! Lots of sharks and turtles!
L. B.
Great service, great food, good atmosphere
r. v.
The service is quick .the inside is lovely despite being a busy day we were able to get a table without prior reservation..food was delicious and served piping hot .I only left 1 star because I couldn't taste the alcohol in my mojito
m. l. p.
Great food even in peak time, during covid AND half term. Staff were so lovely, very attentive and food came out in good time.
Very clean and great atmosphere. Paid attention to our notes made when booking a table so we were seated next to the window.
Simply stunning 🥰 Thank you Harvester!
L. P.
Love coming here whenever I am in Brighton the staff are always helpful and friendly. The menu has lots of choices and is reasonably priced. Will be revisiting again soon.
C. M.
Great food and service. Desserts were heartily enjoyed
s. s.
Nice pub located near to Brighton beach. You can get varieties of drink including beers whiskey and 🍺 Ale. There is good arrangement outside and inside. For inside you need to make a appointment in advance. Outside benches are very good and u can enjoy drinks and food easily with your friend and family
K. S.
Came in as a walk in last week, absolutely amazing service. The staff are working so hard having to escort you to the salad bar and everything but they did so amazingly. Food was delicious and came super fast. Overall a great experience I cannot wait to come back. Special thanks to our server Natalie G who was so lovely and efficient. Amazing job!
A. Q. H.
Took my kids here for lunch when visiting for the day,
the kids enjoyed the salad but weren't to keen on the pasta or the steaks that they ordered, staff were polite, helpful and friendly
A. B.
Covid restrictions were supposedly in place but the glass served to us had lipstick on it so my girlfriend was basically kissing a stranger who could have been infected with covid. This drink was also added to the bill at the end until I put up a fuss. Staff were mostly kind although one staff member did not allow to sit in a booth which was empty. I then asked another member of staff who then allowed us as there had been noone sitting there for the 30 mins of being there.
The salad bar was manned by the wait staff. This took away the experience we all know and love and made it awkward to ask for salad refills especially as the staff seemed flat out. Unfortunately the salad was tasteless especially the potato salad. The katsu curry I ordered had a skin on the sauce and was the size of a starter. My partner had the chicken wrap which she enjoyed but she has a very bland pallette so I'm sure I wouldve had a words about it if I tried it.
All in all I would not recommend until the salad bar reopens properly as this is what we come here for, and the staff aren't rushed off there heads! On the plus we were so full we felt physically sick so didn't want to eat until late that night (we ate at lunchtime). Another positive was the male waiter that helped served us went above and beyond and remembered every choice of salad I asked for without writing it down. Impressive considering I asked for about 8 different things.
V.
Tasty food and very helpful and friendly staff.
B. M.
Went here after spending the day on the pier with the kids the food was good, we didn't have to wait long and the staff were friendly
P. S.
Great service and big seating area. Loved it. Wished they had more veg options in the menu.
M. “. F.
Good food, lovely service and clean toilets (which is a must for me). We visited on a hot and busy half term, during Covid and the staff were calm, polite and gave clear instructions re Covid regulations. I have a daughter who has special needs, so require the least amount of stress as possible when visiting a place, so was glad for the efficiency of everyone.
K. E.
I was a little cautious about dining out as I haven’t been out very much since lock down but I have to say this experience totally put me at ease. When I arrived a was greeted by a very well presented waiter who introduced himself as Kyle and brought us our cutlery and some bread while we browsed the menus which I really feel brought up the standard of service. Our food was nice and the tables were well spaced and organised. Kyle was very attentive and the meal was well paced. I am looking forward to my next dining experiences.
r. w.
Lovely meal, pleasent staff, altogether an enjoyable evening xx
C. T. E.
Nice food, long wait in serving
K. M.
I can't recommend this Harvester enough. Service, food and friendly all brilliant. We had our breakfast and evening meal here and can't wait to visit again.
A. :.
My friend and I came in for hot chocolates after a swim in October and were served by the most AMAZING waitress!!! She was incredibly friendly and an absolute joy to be around!! She also gave us some of the best hot chocolate I've ever had!! I'm afraid I don't remember her name (she was blonde and I think it started with a Y) but she deserves a huge raise!! Thank you so much!! 10/10 all round!! - 2 freezing teenagers
R. G.
Food was very good service also especially seeing as it was during a busy time .
C. H.
Great service brilliant value for money and to top it all off a fantastic sea view would thoroughly recommend
C. D.
Popped in for a cheeky liquid lunch after a (cold and windy!) Wander around the promenade and beach, good service and reasonable prices in a very cosy setting right next to the beach
F. H.
We had a reservation here for breakfast this morning (10.15, 7/12/20) and received the best customer service we've ever had from our host Fran. She was attentive, friendly, enthusiastic and brightened up our morning. She couldn't have done any more for us. Due to covid, we didn't have any cash to tip, but we wanted to acknowledge the excellent service. Thank you Fran, thank you harvester. We will definitely be back!
a. r.
Fantastic food they now have started there Xmas menu the waiter was very helpful
M. P.
They tell you when you go in soft drinks are refillable, so ordered 2 Coke's only to be told its on Pepsi not Coke so had to get that for my next drink
J. O.
Lovely restaurant with a great sea view, excellent staff
B. R.
Services was good it was busy as the weather was bad food came hot and quick
J. P.
Had a really lovely breakfast here this morning. George was our waiter and was so friendly and welcoming. Even my 5 year old commented how lovely he was :-) food was excellent and served quickly. Would definitely come back again on our next visit to brighton. Thank you harvester, and thank you George:-)
B. f.
Becky & Alex were lovely on our visit. Greeted us with big smiles & explained covid rules. Restaurant busy but everyone looked after as far as I could see & I would def reccommend this place for a night out. Thankyou for giving us professional but friendly excellent service.

B. S.
Our server Jess was absolutely incredible! She was so attentive and kind, with quick and thorough service. She provided us with everything we needed and kept our little one entertained! It really made our dining experience relaxed and enjoyable. We will be back because of Jess! Thank you so much, you are an asset to the establishment.
C. B.
We had a great lunch here. Everything you’d expect from the harvester with the added bonus of friendly and attentive service. Thank you to Kyle who looked after us fantastically!
T. B.
Excellent service and excellent people. Food also great. Jess, the waitress with the orange hair! was particularly nice and patient.
So pleased we returned the following day even and were expertly served by Alex (the BHA fan) who was very attentive and friendly.
N. W.
Have to say staff bright and cheery but the food was not upto standard. We'll put it down to a bad day....
C. P.
Nice to have a meal out again with family and friends, lovely waitresses just one detail the food could have been a bit hotter but otherwise very nice and I still love the rocky horror dessert.😊🍨
m. s.
Great food, exactly what you expect from a Harvester, cheap and cheerful. All our food was good, freshly cooked and tasty.
J. P.
Pretty sure that red restaurant without toilet it's against the law. Food not bad, service very good. Just don't understand how you run pub without toilet for days
A. P.
Good location, Friendly staff, tasty food. Definitely comeback again. Thank you
T. G.
We had a very pleasant family birthday gathering just prior to the 6 person rule coming into affect. The social distancing and sanitising protocols were well maintained and the staff polite and efficient. The food was well presented and tasty. Well done to Harvester during difficult times. Special thanks to Justina.
J. R.
Pleasant place lovely staff good value meals and no time waiting
N. G.
We went on a quiet evening and the atmosphere was lovely.
Can we just say how impressed we were with the salad bar! There was a lady there who really looked after it. There was no dirty mixes in that bar! Everything had its place and it was in it. It looked amazing and made such a difference when you compare to other bars we have been to. Keep up the presentation, it is appreciated.
t. a.
Sat outside brighton harvester for drinks. Service was excellent from staff who were rushed off their feet on this very sunny busy day yet they remained professional & smiling & constantly apologising for any delay in service. Covid rules abided to & they made my afternoon on this bank holiday sunday a really happy & lovely experience. Thanks to
Aidan & Alice for your constant smiles & professionalism.
C. W.
Came here for lunch before our visit to Sealife. Really good service and food was lovely. Great to see so many vegetarian and vegan options which catered to all our needs. George was our waiter and he was really helpful and accomodating considering we were running tight for time.
A. E.
Quality service and excellent food.. Much love
“ 10 oz sirloin steak”
P. L.
Shortage of food items some cold/hard manager did give 2 free meals & 20% discount
L.
Very nice meal. Lovely staff.👍
W. S.
Not that good
People were just walking upto the salad bar without being told they could when you were meant to wait
Food wasn't great
S. M.
Great customer service and your normal harvester food, never dissapoints
C. W.
Had to wait 5/10 mins for a table for 2 and a little while to be serves at bar for drink BUT food was really good and very tasty and staff very friendly and welcoming :)
T. F.
We went a couple of years ago so hopefully it has improved.Very busy restaurant, service was ok, got sent the wrong food twice waitress didn't seem to know what she was doing. ive been to many harvesters around the country and this one is the slowest and most unorganised restaurant by far.
J. B.
My server Jess was incredibly friendly, very helpful and very attentive from start to finish, making me feel very comfortable even with all the covid measures. The burger came out quickly, was very tasty and good value for money.
C. T.
It was the first I have visited a Harvester since covid. The food and service was very good 👍
S. S.
Very warm welcome, delicious food, extremely friendly staff who genuinely looked like they were enjoying their jobs :)
C.
Very nice people. Good food. Nice venue
M. C.
Amazing food and the service is second to none I recommend this place to the highest degree
S. L.
Really clean, staff all very lovely and friendly. Making big efforts inline with Covid. Been to some questionable Harvesters in the last couple of years but couldn't fault this one, fresh salad bar, nice food and decent prices. Alex our server worked his socks off whilst we were dining and all with a smile on his face and happy to help anyone.
y. [. r.
First time I had been here since summer. Place has really been turned around. Previously would have given 3 stars. Food quality and presentation has really been stepped up. The char grilled chicken burger with bacon and monty Jack is superb and tastes as good as a gourmet one at twice the price. Staff were also friendly, and service was just right
d. l.
Good place to sit outside, relax and have a cold drink on a warm sunny day.
A. P.
Great staff, easy process food excellent
C. E.
Very good! Martina from the team did an execellent job!
J. M.
Arrived just before 12 do all salad bar food was fresh, that is where the good part ends. Long wait to be seated, bar man ended up seating us, long wait for food as they were busier than they expected and seemed to forget we were there at all. Seemed to noticed that we weren't there quick enough as we went to the bar to pay the bill due to the wait, the look on the waitress' face was priceless as she thought we'd done a bunk! Also cooked food was not the best but filled a hole alright.
G. H.
Great visit, food was really good, large portions, hot and tasty. COVID guidelines followed really well. On holiday here so it holiday enjoyable
B. G.
Great food with friendly staff...I would recommend to friends.

We had a lovely early Christmas dinner in there this afternoon. Lovely staff - shout out to Yolanda and Ashleigh. Made to feel very welcome. Highly recommended.
c. D.
The food was delicious and the staff were friendly 😋😋.

Well, it's a post-Covid Harvester with a very friendly team.
Once you accept the fact that you are now choosing your salad off a list (as opposed to staring at all those wonderful colours before choosing the same thing you always do), it's 5* Harvester. I like Harvesters very much.
H.
Harvester Brighton were able to cater for 13 people we have very good service from the staff , we all had English breakfast and not one was incorrect , the staff helped use through out while we were there .
Only down side was the coffees came out to early and were cold ..
Apart from that very happy with the service.
B. B.
We popped in, in desperate need need for the loo. Understanding the requirements for social distancing, we booked a table and intended to order a drink and use the loo. The social distancing measures, professionalism and friendliness of the staff was very impressive. We decided to order food and it exceeded our expectations. The only possible room for improvement was that the size of the feet on the distancing sign on the floor was clearly for a small child and made my Misses feel like ‘Big Foot’ off of Big Foot and the Henderson’s. But that won’t stop us from coming back. Thanks guys. 😊
A. T.
Best fish I ever had, fresh food and friendly service. Great atmosphere!!
M. F.
Popped in whilst in Brighton... food was great 🤤and so were the drinks 🥴
C. P.
Very nice pub and .I injoy my drink.
L. M.
Lovely meal, great service
M. S.
Not bad, quick service standard Harvester food
J. P.
Had a really lovely breakfast here this morning. George was our waiter and was so friendly and welcoming. Even my 5 year old commented how lovely he was :-) food was excellent and served quickly. Would definitely come back again on our next visit to brighton. Thank you harvester, and thank you George:-)

We had a reservation here for breakfast this morning (10.15, 7/12/20) and received the best customer service we've ever had from our host Fran. She was attentive, friendly, enthusiastic and brightened up our morning. She couldn't have done …

We had breakfast here, lovely food and good options. Our boy got to visit Santa and absolutely loved it! Great service from George, thank you :)
M. N.
Good service and good food. Child friendly
J. A.
Nice place. But didn't open early for breakfast
A. K.
It was very quiet so actually quite relaxed. The staff were very friendly and helpful and handled the Covid restrictions really well. Food was good and service quick and efficient. Would definitely go again.
M. C.
Popped in for waffles breakfast with my 9 year old grandson and was very pleased with the food. Pleased even more with the service from Kyle and Fran, very profession but warm with it. You can have a bit of a laugh with them which makes for perfect customer service. Well done, Guys
B. P.
Great experience, the staff were very friendly and genuine. The food was outstanding and I can see my self returning to one of their places on the future. Food delivery was fast, the salad bar was great, and the prices were great for how much was ordered

Great decor, good quality food and cosy
R. M.
I really appreciated everything . The atmosphere is eccentric and waiter pay attention for little details if always a big smile ! So delicious foods and drinks. Definitely I'll come back. Thanks Harvester for makes my day happy! :)
S. L.
Just had a lovely family lunch here with Alex as our waiter. Fresh food and fantastic service. Thank you Alex for making us and our children feel welcome. Highly recommend.

Not fine dining!
Good service! Friendly and pleasant staff!
A. P.
Food did not taste very nice.
We sent it back. And different tables did the same.
s. r.
Haven't been to a harvester in quite some time and the Brighton branch didn't disappoint! As you'd expect, food and drink is all reasonably priced and the free salad bar is always a nice touch. The decor is a little bit worn, we had scribbles all up the side of the wall where we were sat but generally the place is nice on the inside and close to the Pier.
A. T.
Just popped in for a pint or two. Cosy seafront Harvester. Good views. Warm fire. Textbook. 4 on 5.
p. b.
I had a great meal here with my family yesterday. They were very busy but the service and food were great. Louise served us and was very smiley despite being rushed off her feet. We will definitely be back, thankyou.
J. E.
Our first time here. Nice friendly and lovely food. The lady who served us was friendly happy very polite and happy to help she was called Marina. We will be certainly returning the next time we travel to Brighton from Sunderland xx
D. B.
The food was great but we were very disappointed by the wait to get a table. We were told 15 minutes while tables were cleaned, 45 minutes later we asked and were told our number had disappeared from the screen and we should be seated in 5 minutes. The toilets were filthy and didn't look like they had been cleaned for a while. Another minor thing was the temperature, it was a cool day outside but almost unbearably hot in the restaurant.
N. K.
Thank you Gina at Harvester (Brighton) for being so patient and accommodating with our autistic son you are a star!
I. T.
Went there for breakfast. All you can eat for £8.49. Absolute bargain.
J. C.
Be cautious if sitting outside as the scavenging seagulls are on the prowl, look around and you’ll see them lurking ready to swoop. But the staff are all good humoured and the food is pretty good - quite like a harvester steak I won’t lie and mine was cooked excellently - can’t beat the salad bar as usual. Staff seemed pretty on the ball at restocking the salad bar as it was in very high demand. Also, staff were very proactive about retrieving abandoned food from the outside tables - quite a brave feat considering the seagulls take no prisoners. Very impressed and good fun.
A. G.
I do like it here but came for dinner yesterday as was so let down. We waited to be served for ages, the waiter Lucas was amazing, helpful and very friendly. The cook or I'm not really sure what she was, kept coming non stop to the salad bar area, was extremely rude and looking at people disgusted, she was rude to me and my children which are very young. Really off putting. And the dusty side boards towards the toilets and around the bar area. Also the table we was sat on had all marks and writing that had been keyed in by people. Just not as nice of experience as have had before
N. B.
Fantastic service friendly and welcoming. Food was top notch and great value. The whole team made us feel comfortable and attended to all our needs.
We will be back for sure..
Thank you
B. P.
Had a great family meal. Staff were all fantastic, first time out since lockdown. Well done The Madeira Harvester. Very pleasant experience.

Quick service, cheap and good food
C. W.
Love the food which is reasonably priced as well as the drinks. Suitable for wheelchair users , however you do have to enter at the side of the building and the doors aren't always open. I'm in debate as to if the bell to call of assistance actually works but staff are lovely
r. b.
i went in here with 2 young kids and a new born on my own and I.have to say staff was amazing and so accommodating one ladie( I don't remember her name as I'm over a month late on my review ) she went above and beyond say me where 8 could be comfy with the kids even watched them while I ran to toilet I thank all the staff for being so nice and friendly and the food was good what you can expect for a harvester and I really enjoyed it . it's not allways just about the food it a the staff and atmosphere that makes a restaurant good .
P. G.
Visited 09/04
Great experience with my wife and 2 kids, taking into consideration my dietary needs asking what could be done for my meal.
Supplied high chair for my daughter and on site facilities to warm her food whilst we waited for our own meals to arrive. Great staff and food will attend again.
This restaurant restored some of my faith in the chain.
J. V.
Very patient staff while waiting for us to order, the food was fantastic as usual, and the server's friendly. Also some lovely views by the sea. And is right next to Brighton sea life center so a great place to eat on a family day out.
a. h.
New menu and a price increase not sure it's worth it, still rough and ready food all over cooked and the mac cheese would have been nice if it wasn't cemented onto the bowl! Salad has gone right down hill and bread rolls are tiny.
S. L.
Well, it's a Harvester, and you probably know what you're going to get... Usually pretty solid fare, nothing fancy, slightly sad-looking salad, etc. I will say, too, that I've had a couple of really lousy meals when they've been busy... BUT: if you can make it along for their breakfast service, it's a revelation! The all-you-can-eat options are superb; good quality breakfast 'standards' including fantastic quality sausages (both the meat and veggie varieties) and all cooked to order; while you help yourself to juice, coffee, toast, cereal, and pastries.... If you're in town early, 100% recommended!
A. G.
Server was excellent, however the type of salad me and my friend had wasn't indicated on the menu that they would have cold meat or fish on them. This is unusual and unexpected. Food was warmed promptly for us on request though. Rice pudding was excellent, they have soya milk as well with the unlimited tea, great idea :)
M. H.
Staff really friendly, the main meals came out quickly and were nicely cooked. Unlimited salad bar is well stocked. If you're after quick friendly service off a standard menu the seafront location makes this one convenient.
L. N.
Had a lovely meal here this week. The manager gave us a table in the window and the fish and chips was great whilst visiting Brighton. We'll be back next time we're in town.
J. C.
2 courses for 8.99, can't go wrong really....Well apart from the coleslaw that came with my dinner was disgusting and not the same as what's in the salad bar!
Had to wait for a table and waiter was a little slow but I think he may have been new, he was polite though.
J. H.
Compared to other harvesters, this one is not up to scratch. Im not sure if it was just because it was a busy Saturday lunchtime, or they were understaffed, but it took a very long time to be served, and an inordinate amount of time to pay the bill.
Most of the food was pretty good, but the BBQ ribs weren't very BBQ at all.
P. E.
Looked forward to eating there all day. Arrived at a very busy time. 9of us. Took a while to place our order, and then to get it to the table. Plenty of it well presented. But we found it very expensive nearly £100 for 6of us 4were children(and had the kids menu). The other table of our group 3people their bill was £80.00. The culprit bloody high VAT. Just be aware people. That was the only let down
T. C.
I'm from the United States visiting my fiancee. We decided to eat here as the Harvester in his town closed and he enjoyed it. The food is well worth the price and was wonderful, but the food I'm used to back home is horrible in the states. The waitress and the other staff were very nice during our visit.
S. W.
First visit to a Harvester in years and we were pleasantly surprised. Staff were extremely courteous even when busy. Food was amazing and came out pretty fast for the time of day (lunchtime). Will definitely visit here again next time we're in Brighton.
P. L.
Well done food fab staff service great have booked Friday cu then cheers
R. “. W.
Ni ce and clean premises great service and excellent staff
D. W.
What a great place friendly staff good prices enjoyed going there .
J. P.
This harvester is always busy giving good service the restaurant n is also very busy with large group of people
M. P.
This is actually not only the best harvester I've ever been to but probably one of the friendliest places to go; especially with a family. The staff seemed so happy (at least 5 spoke to us throughout our meal 😊 ) and you could see that the manager valued her team (sat 2.6.18 @4:pm ish) one of the best things was that there were enough staff working to enable good customer service. We were a family of 15. I even spoke to the manager to say how happy we were.
B.
Haven't been the a Harvester for years. Was very pleased to see a variety of veggie and vegan options along with that famous free salad bowl. Food was fab and staff very friendly.
J. W.
I feel like the food has gotten way better over the years - today I had a great steak. I also feel like the salad bar is a bit lackluster now, there are only maybe 5-6 options and it all looks a little sad. But hey it's free so who's complaining
G. F.
Polite staff , keeping surfaces clean, but had to wait a while for our food .
B. S.
Staff were nice and helpful. Food was very average, my burgers bun was left plain by the time it came out to me it was soggy, burger itself tasted like it had been in the oven and the fish looked as if it was cut in half. Apart from that the place could also do with a deep clean, it’s filthy. The dark fruit cider was poured into a clean glass and was beautiful so one thing was right.
k. b.
The wait was quite reasonable considering we went during the summer holidays, however the waiting area was very limited in space, no fault of there own by any means but maybe with smaller seats it might have been abit easier to access with a pushchair.
Once we were seated the service was very quick and our waiter was lovely (Can't remember his name though, sorry :/ ) Not sure what he did but my son adored him, and kept looking for him round the restaurant. The food was gorgous and to a very high standard as you'd expect from such a big name chain.
We will defiantly be returning if we are back in the area.
S. P.
It's a Harvester, so I wouldn't expect wonderful food. My burger was a bit dry and the chips were a little underdone. However the service was quite prompt, at what was a pretty busy lunchtime. The staff were friendly and polite. Not a bad option on the seafront.
S. O.
Sadly this visit was not the best, 40minuate wait to get a table I could live with, then 20 minuate again for the burger, but what spoilt it all was an overcooked burger, a smashed bun that was very dry and slightly burnt, clearly the whole had been on hold awaiting "something". Not the best at £20 plus extras and a drink or two. Was exceptionally bust, but that was not going to be news, not prepared, poor overall.
T. S.
Good food and nice salad bar. The tables were quite close together and it was very busy but only to be expected really. Book on line to get in quickly!
B. H.
Amazing service, feel right at home. Cool view of the pier out the window and a breakfast service to die for 😍😍
O. T.
Good food, great service.
G.
Food was OK, it was not busy but not enough staff serving at the bar. I was clean shaven when the food was ordered. A few people complaining of the time taken from order to being put down on the table. The food was hot and of good quality. The pub was clean just a shame about serving time.
M. T.
I love going to the Harvester. Great food, excellent service, but the toilets are a lot to be desired for. The floors were slippery, what looked like poo in the child's basin, soap dispensers running out and the cubicles were atrocious. The steps leading down from the upper area were also slippery and several times nearly twisted my ankle.
A. T.
No waiting for table well spaced out between tables service good and well presented food at reasonable prices
J. P.
Situated right opposite the Palace Pier above the Sea Life Centre, a typical Harvester offering a free salad bar among the usual fayre. Friendly and quick service, can't say I can fault the place. Separate area for just drinks with Sky Sports.
Although the venue isn't huge, it can seat quite a few and wasn't kept waiting as there were many staff available and were seated quickly.
k. k.
We were reluctant to visit Harvester after the poor experience and public image of our local one in Broadstairs. However the Madeira has rekindled our love for the restaurant Chain! Our food was lovely and the staff were very accommodating! I would go back in a heartbeat!
😊
R. G.
The overall 3.6 rating is spot on here. Had breakfast here this morning, fabulous view of the pier, very friendly and efficient service too.
However, as a foodie, from choice I would much prefer to breakfast at Cote or Carluccio, in both cases the quality is far more consistent, even if on the face of it, with their "all you can eat' menu offers better value at the Harvester.
I did particularly enjoy the coffee and fresh fruit salad, my choice of items on the hot breakfast was fairly conventional, albeit the chips were a moveltn at breakfast! Whilst the chips, baked beans and fried eggs were fresh and hot, the bacon was cold, the sausage and mushrooms barely luke warm, sorry to say I do like my hot food hot!
Three stars from me, but it could so easily have been four if only the items on the plate had been consistently hot.
C. L.
Had scampi and was satisfied. Friends had fish and chips and said it was good. Had lots o drink specials available like pitchers of Pimm's. Early bird discounts before 5pm was a great plus. Seagulls on the outside can be hazardous at times though. Free salad bar included with most mains.
N. M.
Staff seated us with no issues. Toilet was dirty. Plenty of salad, and fresh. Staff helpful. My steak was very tough on the mixed grill . Ribs were fine for the wife
T. W.
Situated in a gorgeous location overlooking Brighton pier and boasting ample well kept seating and tables and a warm atmosphere, we had a lovely experience.
We headed in for breakfast at roughly 10:35 on remembrance Sunday. We were greeted by an incredibly friendly and helpful member of staff named Lucas who politely informed us of the silence they would be observing, before leading us to our table and taking our order. He was consistently extremely happy and friendly when interacting with us, and even cleaned a window for us when we jokingly mentioned a seagull had rudely obscured our view of the sea from our table.
Food was served promptly and was lovely. Fantastic value for money. We plan to come again and enjoy an evening down by the sea in the future.
G. L.
Thankyou so much to Becky and the staff. My group of 35 for lunchtime fish and chips were excellently catered for. Really nice fish and chips all served at the same time, the staff could not have been more helpful.
Thankyou.
P. T.
Friendly. Good value. Love the salad bar. They cook a good steak too. Some of the dishes are a bit messed about with, like the weird glaze on the salmon and the piri piri on the duck. They put pineapple with everything but not a problem. Great for a quick meal before a night out.
K. W.
I'm sure Harvester used to have a menu which was much more to my liking so I wouldn't go here "by choice". They could do with a guest ale other than the regular Old Speckled Hen. However, we ate here as it's a handy location when visiting the Concorde 2. Our food and the service and cleanliness were all excellent.
d. m.
Good service ,lovely meal, and Covid friendly.
Our server was exceptional.
J. M.
Great place for a family meal. Very kid friendly. This place was very busy when we visited but the staff were fantastic and food was served promptly.
T. M.
Very nice restaurant. Even tho weekends are really busy, staff are pretty committed and friendly. We were served by Martina, A+++ customer experience. Thank you.
S. B.
We were group of 8 adults and a 2 kids, with mixed bag of vegetarians and non-vegeterians. The restaurant has something for everyone from kids to adults. The unlike salad will keep the healthy birds happy. The junk food lovers wouldn't be disappointed either has you find the freshly made delicious fries and bbq chicken wings.
M. T.
They say child friendly on the page. They really are!! My little girl loved the experience. The food was spot on. The free salad bowl is amazing #thousandislanddressingisamazing Great experience and will definitely be returning.
K. C.
Our server Creag was excellent, really friendly and helpful, and sat us at a window table with an amazing view of the pier and out to sea. The restaurant itself was clean and tidy, well laid out and easy to access. Fully recommend the breakfast!
Á. Ö.
Nice food, lovely stewk, but we had to wait 10 minutes to order as choose sit outside and and no one came to the bar to take our order however they werent full at all. Salad bar looked poooooor and we had to sand back the peppercor sauce as that was cold, dried out and only half portion.....
Plus what is not their fault, if you choose to sit out be prepared seaguls will attack you (no one warn us...).
N. k.
Very friendly staff well organised not like others I've been to.
C. X.
The food was average. Peas were dry and batter wet. A group of nine spent a lot of money on not the best food. The waiter was the best bit of our experience as he was attentive and helpful.
J. L.
So glad we can sit in to eat now, love a good Harvester and this one is right on the sea front opposite the pier. 😁 😁
O. G.
Toilet were horrendously dirty, but I think that's because people use it as a public toilet, I recommend they put barriers in like burger king and McDonald's in central locations. the salad cart is always good and the meat is always good.
J. G.
Yummy original combo, deep fried mushrooms were crispy but quite Abit of oil seeping out when cut open.
Overall great service and nice lunch by the sea.
L. M.
Lovely meal, great service
P. L.
quite nice for a sea front restaurant..really nice views if seated in side. group 4..went the day after mothers day..lunch options varied meals ribs..jambalaya and fish n chips were quite well cooked. all in all a nice experience.
A. G.
Nice Restaurant nice bar expensive to eat
K. F.
Food was delicious with very large portions. Loved the salad bar and self serve drink options. Great service from staff.
R. W.
I enjoyed my food it was delicious however my partner didn't enjoy hers it was cold and tasteless however she didn't have to pay because she didn't eat it. The service however was excellent beautiful waitress with a lovely smile good price in my eyes my steak was cooked perfect.
N. H.
We were served by Creag and he made us feel immediately welcome. Very good atmosphere, and the view of Brighton pier out of the window was incredible. Would definitely recommend.
B. L.
Nice staff. Main meals came out quickly and cooked nice. Price seems to have gone up and portion size smaller. Salad bar is still unlimited.
A. S.
We had a very enjoyable meal the staff were great, good food served an excellent place to go for a meal and a great choice on the menu something for everybody.
S. P.
Been there with family and friends food is great, friendly staff, clean, always busy, well worth a visit if you are looking for somewhere to eat.
a.
I was starving when we got there so it was nice to be able to head immediately to the salad bar. Lucas was really friendly which was what we remembered the next day as the food itself was pretty forgettable. I'd go back though.
R. S.
The food is always fair. But being in the thick of a busy area, the staff can't always cope with the volumes of customers. When we have been in there several times, the bar tables are always dirty etc. Last time, we were told that we couldn't have a drink while waiting to be seated as there was no clean glasses and no staff to wash any.
The usual problem of corn on the cob being boiled to death, so taking on the appearance, taste and texture of a wet bath sponge is the same country wide too!
M. A.
Big and comfortable place. Food is great and tasty. Many options for vegetarians and vegans (also desserts). Waiters are polite. Good job.
I. H.
Good food, friendly staff 😊
L. P.
Had a great meal here tonight, the staff working were all smiling and seemed very relaxed. Great location as well. Thank you
S. B.
Great food, great value for money, very friendly staff and the manager was very helpful with a query I had due to my allergies. Will be returning again soon.
J. T.
Booked a table here today for 11.30am for me and my daughters as we had a booked slot for 12.30 at the sea life center. I booked online for lunch as it have 3 options breakfast, lunch dinner....and the lunch bookings start from 11.30. We arrived there for 11.30 to be told they don't take orders or start serving lunch till 12. When I spoke to are waitress I asked would would it be through quick as we had to be down stairs at the sea life center for 12.30 she said yes. We didn't get are food to 12.15 so have use 15 mins to eat our food and get down stairs baring in mind my children are 6 and 3. They really need to put something on there saying we don't take orders or start serving till 12. Other then that the waitress did her best to get ready food out quickly the food was good even though it was rushed.
R. W.
Food was lovely and the staff were chatty and friendly. Nice place to eat. Would recommend it and will be visiting again.
F. L.
Very child friendly (lots of high chairs, free salad bar, free soft drinks refill) but the fish&chips are not worth ordering (lots of dry, hard batter; almost no fish) and the steak&eggs also not great (not a lot of meat, cold veggies).
C. W.
Convenient, quick and easy of you want a reliable bite.
Key member of Staff...
Lucas was outstanding in his hospitality and service. The Harvester management need to recognise his efforts as it was to the standard of the Grand Hotel. Well done Lucas
K. M.
Popped in for a early dinner last night on own before meeting friends .
I had the beef brisket which was very tasty .
Quick friendly service by Jolanta just what I nedded .
I. F.
Superb service and Luke was so friendly. The food was great and perfect for my children too! Thank you
B. J.
A quick bite, before returning to Birmingham.
Cold and windy conditions. Drove us to seek food and shelter. My wife had used this venue on a previous visit. We were looked after by Lucas, who was the model of profesionalism and really friendly.
The food was well prepared and pipeing hot.
With just the Jamaican beeing a little dry.
Otherwise everything was brilliant and we would not hesitate in recommending it to any anyone.
M. S.
Not bad, quick service standard Harvester food
S. L.
Was really good last time, but today food not so good salad on plate actually black where it had gone off. Mushroom and tomato not good but meat and chips great. Service slow but good when they had your attention replacing food
A. B.
This is a good option for breakfast target than an expensive hotel one however the value proposition becomes less attractive of you want to add a coffee or fruit juice option to your meal. I can see this is were their profit is clawed back but it still hurts and gripes with me. An extra £2.49 for a coffee (free refill to be fair) but £2.79 for a fruit juice (again it is refillable to be fair) seems extortionate. The fruit juice is an offered optional extra on the coffee ..for 50p do clearly they arent sourcing the juice from the most expensive wholesalers in the world.
Come on Harveter..do some honest pricing and make your customers feel more comfortable with your offering.
Ok.... soapbox mode off..(but it still rankles! Does anyone else agree with me ?)
The breakfasts do seem to vary from location to location. The only fruit available as a buffet option was dried raisins..no fresh which i have seen elsewhere, that eas a shame.
It just wasn't to top harvester standard but it was ok.
I might go back again but i might not.
One thing that was odd was that on paying by contactless my card was taken, in my presence, and placed on the machine before i was able to see the amount to be taken. The receipt given had every conceivable data on it apart from how much had been taken, on asking another member of staff checked and confirmed that the correct amount taken but seems poor form to me. Always check folks.
O.
Great service, friendly and efficient staff and great food
D. P.
Clean tidy very friendly staff. Went for breakfast always good. Didn't know that you can have the all you can eat breakfast plate 3 times in one sitting for the same price as just having one.
C. W.
Staff were friendly but the food wasn't very nice. I had the chicken which was very bland and the chips looked bitty and didn't taste very nice. The only good thing about our meal was the salad.
M. F.
Popped in whilst in Brighton... food was great 🤤and so were the drinks 🥴
s. P.
Everything was lovely except for the fish and chips, had a job to find any fish. The batter was so thick and hard with a very thin piece of fish inside
S. T.
Its a nice pub but it can get crowded. The food prices are very fair, If you compared to the Old Ship hotel down the road who charged £14.95 for lukewarm bangers and mash with the money up front before the meal (plus a 10% surcharge just to rub it in). Bangers and mash cost £4.99 here and the drinks are very good price compared to other places. It definitely seemed to be the pub to be in.
R. T.
Came for a day-trip from London to Brighton. Because it was rainy I decided to have my lunch at the "Madeira Harvester". Staff was friendly and gave me a table for one Person. the Waitress gave me the menu Card and told me that there is a salad buffet which is included to your menu (any Chosen from the Card).
I had Salmon, with potato and Lemon Sauce - this was in my mind delicious.
The athmosphere and decors/style of the Restaurant was nice and I liked it.
Btw: my eyes saw a handsome guy who was sitting next to me. Sadly didnt talk to him! Anyone know him? any Info pls to me. He might be my future husband ;-) Thx
N. M. H. b.
2 people, starter & main meal. Unlimited soft drinks. Was busy, however, staff was GREAT. food very nice.
B. B.
Food as always a superb standard. Great staff. Really well planned social distancing measures.
J. P.
The food was good, service was great,
N. S.
One of the better harvesters in the city. Gets a little busy at times. Food ok , Free refills of soft drinks. And plenty of free salad. Reasonable prices.
A. T.
Food and service excellent, would have been 5 🌟 but the toilets let it down. You had a lovely refurbishment for the restaurant but not the toilets. Flooded floors, lack of toilet roll etc. Such a shame this let it down
I. F.
Typical Harvester but have their prices increased? Getting a bit pricey.
T. S.
Fantastic service and food. Staff were attentive and helpful. We even turned up a little late but we're still seated with out a problem.
S. B.
Good location and staff very friendly. Food and drink all seemed good but more exciting pubs to be found in Brighton
C. W.
More expensive than I remember a couple of years ago but the same quality of food. Used to think of Harvester as a cheap eat but now it's more of a cheap eat with a bigger price tag. Can eat higher quality food elsewhere for the same price.
R. D. V.
Lovely place to eat because of its surroundings and its location staff were friendly food wasnt all that but I would go back again if I was in the area
N. P.
One of the best salad bars I have had at an harvester plenty and fresh. Meal was served quick. Couldn't fault it. Excellent.
D. T.
Great family friendly find on a rainy visit to Brighton Pier. Very attentive staff, food was great and very reasonably priced.
J. A.
Nice place. But didn't open early for breakfast
m. h.
Greeting as we entered was very weak he couldnt even crack a smile, not very welcoming. Nice and clean service staff very helpful and friendly. Food below par but ok .
W. R.
Food ok, ribs on the dry side. Table not very clean. Salad bar was nice. Friendly staff
M.
Food okay, friendly staff
L. B.
Good food, excellent service, knock spots of the one in the marina. Just a shame a blind was missing from the window opposite where we were sitting as the sun shone in our faces
A. R.
Good food, always hot and well cooked. Service is a little hit and miss; going from inattentive to over attentive depending on the server! Tables and floor is often a little sticky!
H.
Staff are friendly, food is nice and served at a nice timing. Salad bar is limited, and served at pretty minimum.
M. M.
Food was delicious, with generous portions and service was friendly. I could not of asked for more. I was actually pleasenty surprised. This is definitely one of the better harvesters out there.
Thank you Chloe for the freindly service.
V. G.
Food was very tasty all as we asked. Brilliant service from "Lucas" our waiter who kept our teas and coffees topped up making us feel very welcome. Thank you.
M. W.
Visited after going to the Sealife centre, the waitress was very friendly and helpful and the food was very tasty and good size portions :)
D. S.
Great food and even better service.. Will definitely come back here again!
D. J.
A lovely location harvester by the sea. There was a wait for food due to staff sickness but the staff on duty were friendly and helpful. Apparently the spare ribs are delicious.
o. s.
Lovely view from window of the sea, very good food and the waiting staff were very pleasant. Will go back there again, good value for money.
S. W.
All good service always friendly.

Love all harvesters but this was lovely. Fantastic meal and outstanding service. Well done all, very good teamwork. Highly recommended .

Nicely located bar & restaurant at seaside. Kids are welcome here and staff is friendly. Perfect for a seaside afternoon tea.

A little tired, like most of Brighton seafront, but the service was excellent. The food (breakfast) nothing to write home about, but welcome.

Just had a very nice breakfast here good value for the money but maybe could do with more staff on as only one person serving.

Great location and view. Staff were friendly. Service a bit slow though. Standard Harvester fare - I enjoyed the sea bass and king prawn from the menu.

Very fast food and good service. Best Harvester in Brighton different class to the one at the marina. Avoid the Marina Harvester, absolutely shocking.
