Reviews of The Breakfast Club
D. B.
Warm welcome given, table was clean and well presented. Just a shame the aircon was so cold.
Hot chocolate wasn’t the warmest but was nice. The coffee was nice too.
For meals we had a classic and a deluxe.
Steak was cooked to perfection and the Eggs where amazing pancakes were nice fluffy and light.
Will return when back again.

My new favourite place to get breakfast.
The staff are amazing, very friendly and nothing felt like too much trouble!
Prices are very good for the quality and portions.
The food was amazing. Just absolutely brilliant.
I had pancakes, hash browns bacon American cheese, and maple syrup. Absolutely brilliant start to my day!
My wife had a bacon roll and she says that was the best she's ever had.
All in all, this place is amazing, you should come here and order one of everything.
(But again, I totally recommend the pancakes and bacon 😋😋)
E. H.
Came here earlier in the week, it was actually my first time to eat at any breakfast club and I'm glad I took the plunge and gave it a try!
The staff are super friendly and efficient with service even during a busy period and managed to accommodate us without a booking. Thank you to Joseph for welcoming us and to John for brilliant table service!
The food is really delicious I was really happy to see some black pudding in with the full monty too! The portions are pretty generous as well so definitely come when you're super hungry!
I'm sure we'll be back again when we're down in Brighton next!
E. W.
Staff could have been a bit more attentive as it wasn’t that busy when we were there, but food was great. I had the hash which was huge and super tasty. Husband had the original breakfast. Would recommend but would need to book
A. K.
So good. Homemade peach iced tea is SUCH a shout. So delicious. Fried chicken French toast is yummy too. Great vibe, nice staff, no complaints
t. t.
My experience of this restaurant was excellent, the wait to be seated was shorter than expected and the seats were very comfy, The staff are excellent in their service and provided everything needed, The food was impressive as you can see in my pictures, I had the burger and it was very enjoyable but a little red for my liking but still tasty, The vegan breakfast was amazing and large with plenty for a big appetite, another positive was we were allowed to bring in our 2 small dogs who were given water and allowed to sit with us on the seats, Thank you
S. M.
The food here is pretty darn good. Awesome table service, friendly staff and delicious food and drinks. We had a bloody Mary and butter milk chicken with French toast. Divine! The place also looks really cool. Only downfall is it is very popular so wait times on weekends especially can take a while but you can be added to the digital waiting list. Pretty pricey too!
A. M.
Really great hearty breakfast food, surprisingly filling for its size. Good atmosphere with plenty table space, although lighting was odd. Extremely friendly and funny staff made us feel welcomed.
Burrito with halloumi cheese and eggs royale pictured.

Best breakfast EVER!!! We stayed in Brighton after Pete Tong and desperately needed a good breakfast the next morning. This place is amazing, great friendly staff and wonderful food. The staff are really clued up around gluten free, vegetarian and vegan and can change most meals to suit.
My wife had the disco hash and I had the club burrito with maple roasted slab bacon side. It was definitely the best breakfast we've ever had although unfortunately I wasn't able to finish mine. We'll return to Brighton just to have breakfast here again.
P. L.
Great variety of choices, some classic American breakfast favourites and some more creative choices. Moderatly priced but I would say well worth the cost as the food is delicious and very well presented. Was very busy as I would expect for the quality of food but the staff were very friendly and polite and the food came out relatively quickly despite the place being full. All in all would highly recommend stopping here for brunch on a visit to Brighton as I will definitely be returning.
R. B.
Brilliant service, my husband is gluten free and the care takem by staff to ensure his meal was correct is very reassuring. Wonderful vegan options and such a brilliant portion size! Lovely meal thank you so much. The only that I felt could be improved was a non dairy version for the milkshakes.
m. W.
Amazing!!!!!! What a great choice of options to choice from. Everything was perfect. I had truffle scrambled eggs and toast with chorizo and my hubs had chicken with French toast. Wow wow wow! The coffee was delicious. Oat milk options too. And orange juice tasted fresh. Friendly staff. We sat at a bar style table which also offered a plug socket for charging. No coat/ bag hook under the table top which was a shame as a high chair. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very busy but didn't take too long.
It's a scan option when you arrive with a text back service when your table is ready. We wondered the lanes Brighton while we waited. Took 30 mins. Highly recommended for a great brekkie and brunch/ lunch option.
Also noticed delivery companies picking up so also must be able to order online.
S. O.
AMAZING! This is, I feel, the best brunch-style meal I've ever had. I had the Disco Hash, which is vegetarian, but I added chorizo. To be honest, it didn't need it. The best part was the main potato-based bit. It was just insanely good. I can't recommend this place strongly enough!!
V. R.
This is by far one of the best Breakfast I've ever had in England. This is the Avocado & Mojo Picon on Toast with crispy bacon and egg.
Very friendly service and wonderful atmosphere. Definitely recommend this one in Brighton 👍👍👍
T. M.
Top notch customer experience!
Just popped in on my v short lunch break. The venue was rammed and mega busy, my bad, didn't think. I was served by a very friendly petit built lady who managed to speed up my order so I had it in 5min! The food is just wow, it was about a tenner for a sandwich which seemed a lot.. Before I had it. It was so bloody good. I just told my workmates. Expect us 😁
A. K.
I went here over this weekend. The food was amazing. So we went back. On my 2nd visit I had their veggie breakfast it was absolutely gorgeous. While I was there I had pancakes which I shared with friends. I seen on someone plate and had to have it. Again the pancakes were amazing. Well worth trying 👌 I must say the staff were the best I was served by Matt both visit. He remembered us by name and was very good at his job. Fabio was again very good. They seem to have good staff working well as a team. Fra did good to. I would highly recommend this place for food. Will visit again
C.
we had a great time!! the music playlist was the best part for me. the food was great, especially with the maple syrup (we even got given extra, free of charge) and we were served excellent portion sizes. thank you to Rachel for being so kind to us and making our anniversary trip even better! the only downside is that it was a bit pricey, but it’s great for special treats.
A. P.
we had the nicest experience at breakfast club! Especially thanks to the waitress and waiter yhe our table!
You need to scan a poster at the door to get in the online queue so you can walk around while you wait. Really smart system!
The special crispy chicken and french toast was really delicious, maybe ask for the cream to be served on the side as there is a lot!
The morning glory smoothie was super tasty too! And of course the classic pancakes american breakfast is a go to!
L. M.
Great portion sizes, lovely food and lovely service.
Update Saturday 13th November:
I went for the disco hash with chorizo this time with mac and cheese on the side. My cousin stuck with the All American Breakfast as that's all she had been thinking of. I didn't speak for about 5 minutes it was that good. Thanks to all the serving staff again but especially Libbie who was brilliant.
B. C.
Wow amazing food, great service and large menu! The best breakfast!
J. P.
Completely amazing!! First time trying the breakfast club when I was down in Brighton, deffo want to try the London ones too now! The virtual queue is a great idea and we only had to wander around for 5-10 mins till we could go back for our table :) all the staff are so so lovely as well so thanks guys!
Z. B.
One of the best breakfasts I've ever eaten! A little pricey but worth every penny and I can't wait to go back!
T. W.
Turn up early, it gets busy extremely quickly, but it's so worth the wait, the staff can't fault them and the service we received from Joe was exceptional.
The food looked and tasted fabulous,
We are certainly coming back
S.
Delicious meals and even though this place is very busy and popular the food came relatively quickly. First we were sat near the air conditioner which was a bit too cold for us since it wasn’t really a hot day anyways but after asking we were sat to a different table which was perfect.
C. k.
We love this place any time we come to Brighton. The food is just amazing, their buttermilk chicken, I talk about it at home, that's how good it is! The atmosphere is fab, the staff are very welcoming and friendly, the food is top notch. The toilets, down a winding staircase, are clean and have toilet roll, these things are important. Always impressed anytime we come here, well worth a visit.
E. K.
Genuinely the best pancakes I've ever had in my life. I could have cried, they were that good. My friends and I were really impressed by the virtual queue system too, which made it a lot easier to be seated without wasting time waiting outside: we joined the queue and then were able to go off and do something else for 10 mins or so until we got the notification that we could be seated. Will definitely go back, can't recommend this place highly enough
T. A. (.
They have very hearty and delicious breakfasts. You must experience it. Vegan and vegetarian selections available..
C. O.
the food was tasty (i had avocado on sourdough toast) and the staff were very efficient and friendly, especially given the busy time we visited. the restaurant is vegan friendly, though the option for a smaller version of a vegan 'fry up' would have been great. the toilets were downstairs and they were clean and functional, bit signage towards them could have been better towards them. will probably come again.
B. B.
Absolutely fabulous place. Lovely food, especially the pancakes. Lovely staff too and if you're allergic to anything, just ask them not to include it.
Young man also helped me with the suitcases upstairs, which was much appreciated. Thank you ❤️
A. B.
Fast friendly service, great food and drinks.
Glad we booked as people were queuing to wait for tables.
T. R.
Wow, wow, wow. The food and the portions were amazeballs!! The pancakes were soooo fluffy and the food combos were different but worked a treat. I did struggle to finish but refused to let it beat me! Lol. Am looking forward to working my way through the menu
N. D.
Busy breakfast eaterie with a wonderfully kitsch ambience. Staff were attentive and food arrived swiftly. Breakfast menu is good but lacked lighter bites such as granola, yogurt and nonesuch. Wider selection of food would not have gone amiss. Prices a little steep - left with a heavy stomach but much lighter wallet at £42 for breakfast and a smoothie for myself and my wife.
m. j.
Great service. Excellent menu. The Greasy spoon is the breakfast champions choice while the bacon sandwich, Extra bacon, made me happy. Our host, from Chicago with indelible Midwestern charm made it even better. Go again and again.
l. h.
10/10 service, food and drink arrived very quickly, I had the all American which is a great value for money. I will definitely be coming back again soon to try more of the menu. The staff was so lovely and accommodating 😃😃
J. N.
I dined in today with two friends and their dog. We sat outside and staff were kind enough to bring us a water bowl for the dog.
The food was absolutely incredible, I had pancakes with a side of French toast and it was absolutely heavenly.
The staff were also incredibly friendly and helpful.
The one drawback is that accessibility isn't great as there's a step at the door and the only toilets are downstairs.
V. M.
Warm welcoming staff attentive, great selection on the menu tried french toast with bacon and the disco hash both wonderful. Good portion fresh and well presented. Soft drinks had fresh juice and a shake again excellent.
L. B.
Really busy bank holiday Monday, 10 of us (three generations) were welcomed with big smiles and seated upstairs at table 66. We all had a fantastic meal, the food was delicious (disco hash - yes please!!) and the service was exceptional - genuinely friendly and super efficient.
M. L.
Unfortunately they didn't have French toast at the time but the pancakes were still bomb. The waiters was suuuper nice and chatty. Big up John 💕
L. k.
Came here to get some work done for my dissertation while enjoying breakfast and while the food was delicious, this is not a friendly place for doing work. The staff basically imposed an hour and a half limit that I was only told after I had ordered all my food/drinks. If this is a rule, I think it should be posted clearly for patrons to see.
K. M.
Food is delicious, staff are great, love the ambiance. It is very expensive and often very busy. Will always be a favourite though. Good selection of veggie options and nice coffee
B. D.
The food was very delicious however the restaurant is very overrated and overhyped and definitely isn't worth a 45 minute wait in line and then another 40 minute for my pancakes to arrive.
L. W.
Visited The Breakfast Club with a couple of my friends yesterday. We were very impressed with the food. I got the vegan full English brunch and it was delicious! Service was fairly quick and the staff members were lovely. pop in if you are near by, or just visiting Brighton for the day.
J. H.
Great breakfast here the other morning, very welcoming staff and a great atmosphere. Food is on the pricier side but well worth it as a one off treat. The yellow exterior of the building is also fantastic and unique. Throughly enjoyed!
A. B.
Very good breakfast, staff were very nice to the customers. The meals were 100% tasty and worth it for what you’re paying. 15mins max waiting for the food.
Usually have a queue but moves quickly, suggest go early still though. All in all 10/10.
H. M.
Can't go wrong going to The Breakfast Club. Friendly staff, good coffee and great food!
J. M.
Had a gorgeous breakfast here this morning with friends. Attentive staff without being overbearing, good casual dining experience right in the center of Brighton. Very upbeat mood all round and massive portions. Would highly recommend.
K. T.
Pancakes and milkshakes were amazing. Shame they were out of waffles the day I visited but everything on the menu looked amazing.
Service was also top notch. Little slow (20 mins wait for mains) but super friendly
M. B.
Friendly and helpful staff. Amazing vegan breakfast. Can't wait to go back.
J. L.
Lovely breakfast experience. Really friendly staff, good atmosphere and great food.
B. N.
Overpriced, however for such huge portions definitely worth paying for. I came back Saturday after having a lovely breakfast here Friday to try the pancakes. The food takes a long time to come, however staff are incredibly friendly and will always come round to take more drinks orders while you're waiting.
Overall, very satisfied
Con: Very expensive
C. H.
My parents and I were staying Brighton for the weekend and we were looking for somewhere to get breakfast, I’m so glad we found this place! I was served by the lovely waitress Libbie, she was very kind and helpful and nothing was too much! Will definitely be back on our next visit.
P. C.
Great way to start the day bright lively menu and serve a bloody Mary what's not to like!
N. W.
Had some super tasty pancakes at the Brighton branch. Food is always good here but the service was especially good today, Gri and Joe took such good care of us, were so friendly and accommodating and made the whole meal really lovely. Definitely reccomend!
T. S.
Came here for lunch on a spontaneous trip to Brighton. Was very impressed with the quality of service (friendly and attentive staff) and the food (I got the pancakes). I also love the 80s feel to it.
J. H.
The food was delicious. The service was fast and attentive but not clingy, and the atmosphere was fab. Great cleanliness and lots of different seating options. Huge choice on the menu too- there really is something for everyone!
J. C.
Been here a bunch of times, being served by Libbie nearly every time. Libbie has been lovely each and every time, remembering my nut allergy on our second visit and even noticing my partner had her hair dyed 8 months after our last visit! We're quite picky with where we eat due to my allergy (it's quite serious) so having the chef come out and assure us of no cross contamination is wonderful when some other places are dismissive or not accommodating. We visited on Sunday morning with my mum and her friend and were served by Freya (Freja? - apologies if incorrect!) And they were also lovely with quick service, checking our food was okay etc.
Also the food is excellent, I've struggled to finish the plate each time because the portions are so good.
Will of course keep coming back and big shout out to Libbie and Freya once again :-)
p. w.
Service was polite and cheerful, layout was nice, food was really good with good menu choices, little bit pricey but well worth it,definitely would visit again, wouldn't even bother considering any where else.
Highly recommended a visit
R. D.
Totally worth going here! Virtual queue so you don't have to wait in line as well as lovely food. Quite filling - felt like I couldn't eat until the evening but would still recommend for a delicious brunch.
E. S.
Coffee was delicious and staff were really friendly but my goodness have I ever spent so much on an egg and some avocado. Food was nice but small portions and crazy expensive.
D.
Booking process was complicated, had to call twice to confirm booking as I got two emails cancelling the booking. Food service was very slow too at ~35mins, staff didn't know which flat white was oat and which was dairy (I suspect both were oat) and one of the party found their breakfast to be cold but there was no check back to tell someone. Otherwise food was good.
R. T.
Friendly service! The food comes fast and barely any waiting time for a table even though it was a bit crowded. However, it is definitely a bit overpriced, especially when considering the meal / smoothie sizes.
L. O.
During my recent trip to Brighton I made a visit to The Breakfast Club on my final day. The staff were incredibly welcoming and very thorough when catering to my gluten and dairy intolerance, to ensure a safe dining experience. A great selection of gf and vegan options left me spoilt for choice but in the end I chose the pancake vegan breakfast, which although on the pricier side definitely delived on quantity. The pancakes were sorely average but everything else was spot on and they had some of the best meat free, gf sausages I've ever had. Perhaps not a regular brunch spot (due to price) but if you're ever visiting Brighton and looking for a bit of a treat, It's definitely worth a gander. It was an incredibly friendly atmosphere with a great selection of fresh juices and smothies along tasty American diner style food.
S. P.
Absolutely amazing breakfast, fantastic service from 2 guys and the place was very clean and very tidy. Would highly recommend the eggs royal. 10000000% would come back!
D. M.
Fantastic food and service. Top quality ingredients and very attentive staff. Nothing can be faulted here.
L. “. A.
Despite being incredibly busy when we went, the service was fantastic and the food incredible! Definitely will come back!
K. C.
Fantastic food and very friendly service! Thank you!
A. P.
Cute place, lovely staff and great food :-)
P. S.
Amazing breakfast! Easily understand why there is always a queue, saying that you wont have to wait to long (at least we didnt) and tech these days lets you disappear and come back when they can accomdate you. Very clean nicely finished premises, really nice staff and accomodating.
F. B.
Gorgeous 70s decor and really tasty comfort food. It has interesting brunch options alongside the classics, and lots of space.
B. S.
Excellent..brilliant friendly welcoming..we had dog 🐕 and he was very welcomed too..loads of food on the plate (vegan breakfast with 3 American pancakes, sausages, potatoes, tofu scamble, vegan bacon)...will be back...thank you, keep up good work 👍🏻🙏
J. Z.
Pancake was sweet and light, went really well with the berries and cream!
The potato mash was full of flavour
C. M.
Great staff, cosy and fun inside. Most food great and nothing was too much trouble when asking for extras. Bacon a little unevenly cooked but would go again.
L. K.
We had breakfast here this morning, despite being busy the service was very fast and really friendly!! Portions were absolutely huge (we both had the All American) and were full until dinner. Worth the money 100%, really nice vibe :)
C. E.
Nice, good value breakfast but the staff seemed very unmotivated, almost like they didn't want us there...
C. J.
Came here for my birthday this week, we were so impressed by everything and loved our experience from start to finish. We were seated and our order was taken very promptly by the friendly waiting staff. Coffee was lovely and the waiters were very accommodating in adding avocado to my order of eggs royale. The food was so lovely, perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious, can't reccommend this place enough and I can't wait to return! The aesthetic of the interior is also so unique and really well designed. Thank you for a great brunch! :) x
A. C.
I cannot fault this place, the food is incredible and the staff are super friendly.
Tip for you though, either book in advance or turn up super early because this place gets (and understandably so) absolutely rammed every day.
Vegan friendly and the ambiance is great.
A little on the pricey side but you get what you pay for and you are paying for great food here.
J. G.
Really good!!! Breakfast was really nice.
Eggs were cooked perfect, sausages are probably the best I’ve ever had.
We also sat and watched the food delivery yesterday, and can tell you, they use good quality ingredients and don’t just buy pre made packed etc (they had a delivery of buttermilk), fresh eggs (free range), some really nice produce.
The only thing I would say they could improve on was the mushrooms being a bit cold.
M. F.
Amazing food - I went for the Pancakes with Berries (10/10), waitress was very attentive and offered tap water as soon as we were seated. Loved the interior and general feel for the place.
R. H.
Visited here on a Saturday morning so there was about a 30 minute wait which was expected. You don't need to queue though as they SMS you with a 10 minute notice of when your table is ready. Food was really good and very tasty milkshakes. Service was a touch on the slow side but it was busy and the waiter made up for it with enthusiasm and friendliness. Great place for breakfast! Pretty decent choice on the menu. Thought price was OK, less than £20 each for breakfast and drink.
I. S.
A great place for brekky.. Service is great but still don't understand the hype. Its just another cafe dressed differently. Yes granted food is presented differently and you may have some added ingredients that a general cafe doesn't have but its truly the same. Great for groups though and tourists. Would i recommend.. Yes of course. Am I impressed.. No..
N. J.
Came here with great expectations and was let down big style. When will places learn the difference between latte and a cappuccino. My breakfast arrived and the black pudding, fried eggs and mushrooms were very good. It was a shame that the baked beans were cold. The fried potatoes and sausage were only warm. I can not fault our server as he listened to my wife's complaint and came back with the breakfast that she had asked for in the first place. If she had written this review and the breakfast that was finally served was served first she would have given it 5 stars.
A. H.
Delicious food and attentive staff. Worth the wait! Pancakes are so fluffy and portion sizes really good. It's a perfect treat when visiting Brighton. On weekends they don't take bookings. Just turn up, give your name and number and they'll text you when your table is ready. It's 5 mins from seafront and inside the laines so go wander for a bit and work up an appetite!
M. S.
Great way to start the day! Not many options for breakfast in Brighton but no need when you have The Breakfast Club. TASTY!!!
The only issue was paying, the bill took forever to arrive.
M. A.
The best breakfast in Brighton, the staff friendly and helpful, great service I was impressed!
I recommend this great place when you're in Brighton. This is a busy restaurant.
Thanks for a great experience.
K. K.
What an amazing place! Always my first choice when I want to go for a brunch.
I had the sandwich with avocado and scrambled eggs and it was delicious. The portions are big, but if you have some space left, try their pancakes - best ones I’ve ever tried. Also the staff are super friendly.
Thank you, I’ll be back soon!

Excellent food and the server (I think his name was Joseph, that’s the name that was on the ticket but he has a gold tooth) was the sweetest guy ever. Pretty sure my aunt fancies him hahaha but he was really sweet to her and really made her day. Took care of us like family and just great energy. We’ll deffo be back to see him and for the delicious food! Hope the breakfast club realise that they have such a great staff member in Joseph!

Excellent friendly service and lovely food. A varied and unique menu with generous portion sizes. Would definitely recommend! the
J.
My wife and I stopped by The Breakfast Club for brunch and was greeted and looked after by the brilliant, Ben.
As vegans we wanted Ben’s recommendation on what was popular and went with his suggestion of Avocado on Sourdough, The Hearty Vegan Breakfast and a side of vegan pancakes with berries and lemon cream.
The food was stunning, but made all the more enjoyable due to the A+ service from Ben.

Came here on pride weekend, not expecting to get a table but got told it was only a 20 minute wait. They took our phone number and told us they'd text us when a table was ready - brilliant!
Got seated straight after going back after a text. Staff were really friendly and took our order promptly. Cocktail menu is small but varied and the food menu had so much choice!
I went for the full monty as I was super hugry and it didn't dissapoint! Eggs were perfect and i loved the creamed mushrooms! Everything else we had was also delicious!
Looking forward to visiting again next time we visit Brighton.
J. G.
Breakfast burger, om nom nom. Good value for money, great staff and service plus doggo friendly 👍
L. M.
What is not to love, the music and atmosphere is fantastic, it serves the best peach ice tea and there's pancakes! Adding maple syrup and cornflake coated chicken wings and you are in food heaven!
B. C.
Lovely breakfast and great service with a warm and friendly welcome.
B. C.
First impressions are everything a firstly Im impressed
L. H.
I love the breakfast club, I've been to a few of them in London and this one is great. We had a few missed things on our order but they sorted it quickly and the staff are very friendly. It doesn't look wheelchairs accessible but they have a ramp, it's a bit tight to move around one you're in and there's no accessible loo.
A. S.
Super busy when I went but had a really efficient simple queue qr code scanny thing so we could join the queue online and then wander round some of the shops near by while we waited.
Really great experience, staff were lovely and the food was absolutely sublime. Found my soulmate in the form of a Bloody Mary 🍅💚
G. T.
Beautiful place and great service. The Mclovin pancakes are delicious! The coffee quality needs improvement though.
A. L.
The only place I've ever queued for a breakfast and it was well worth it!
D. G.
Always good, been a few times before. The menu seems to have less choices than before. Not a fan of having service charge added , would prefer to have that left to me to decide.
J. B.
The food is awesome, just what you need for breakfast, staff are great and helpful, the venue is rather small (but that adds to its exclusivity) so make sure to book! There wasnt one dish that i saw going to other tables that didnt look DELICIOUS!
C. C.
I think it is NOT exceptionally good… I wouldn’t queue to get in, just normal
M. S.
Fantastic service, lovely decor and delicious food. The portions are huge, the most amazing pancakes ever and the milkshake was so tasty! Highly recommend!
C. c.
Very busy breakfast restaurant. Staff very friendly. Food very good. Portion size good. Card only payment.
Would highly recommend.
E. L.
I had been to Breakfast club in Hackney and was happy to go back with my partner, but I was disappointed this time. We arrived at 10:30 on Saturday, so there was no table available (understandable). We were placed in a virtual queue in an app; that was very convenient, every restaurant should have this system! When we came back, our table was ready and we ordered relatively quickly. The waitress was friendly. However, we waited a while for our food and when it arrived, it was not very warm, as if it had been waiting for us in the kitchen. I know it was busy, but why accept more clients if you don’t have the time for good service?
A. O.
Best breaofast in Brighton with friendly staff.
N. j.
Very beautiful place.amazing food. Thank you so much to the friendly staff
J. C.
A great location in the Lanes , Breakfast Club has a lively atmosphere , friendly service and the most comprehensive selection of every type of breakfast one could wish for . Good quality , very tasty and generous portions . Start your day here and be productive indeed 😊

We booked a table for breakfast on Easter Sunday and were pleased we had booked, the queue stretched out the door and over the road! The service was fantastic, the food was great and despite there were six of us they had no problem accommodating us.
After I paid I was given a box of real eggs as part of promotion to celebrate Easter 🐣🐣🐣🐣🐣🐣
We will definitely go again (and book first) next time we're in Brighton!
C. B.
One of the best breakfast meals I ever had. Fantastic food good portions and good value. The All American Pancakes are exactly what they claim to be alot of places try and fail but here is spot on. Staff are also super friendly and helpful and the place is kept clean top to bottom. Fantastic was really impressed.
R.
great food great service, definitely your breakfast place when in Brighton!
L. P.
Organisation - staff were all extremely helpful but unorganised at the same time, one waitress brought us over water when we already had water. And there was a very long wait for our food
Food -
Eggs Benedict £9.50
Very delicious, but expensive for the portion size
Club Sandwich £9.50
(Chicken, lettuce, tomato, avocado and bacon)
Large portion in contrast to the Benedict, however the club was bland and the avocado really didn't fit. There was also a very small amount of chicken in comparison to the other ingredients. It came warm (not hot) so gave up on eating the sweet potato fries.
Restaurant -
The tables were very clean and so were the plates and cutlery, however the floor was filthy and it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in quite a while. However, the music was fun and the decorations gave a canteen/diner vibe
No service charge was included in the bill
M. H.
Delicious food and quick service! I had the Cabbie’s breakfast with Beetle juice. Nice toilet in the basement.
C. G.
Great menu but a little bit pricey for breakfast. Still good food and worth a visit.
M. C.
Great meal. Had the chorizo hash and it was excellent. Excellent service by Anniston who was ever so welcoming to myself and my partner.
E. T.
We went their around 3 pm on Saturday, still really busy at the moment. We sat at the bar area which is just beside the window. Staffs are very kind. I had 'Slow Boy' which was good, neither too sweet nor too sour. My friends and I also shared a waffle. There was yogurt on the top which isn't my liking but the other part of the waffle were tasty especially the melted peanut butter. Will definitely come again next time to try their pancakes!
R. S.
Great food, and really nice atmosphere.
Did get busy and a little loud, but the booths let you tuck away.
Friendly staff and surprisingly quick turn around given how busy it was. 👍
W. P.
Excellent food and service. Highly recommend.
Use the virtual queuing system to book and avoid the wait.
S. P.
Good food, great service and nice atmosphere when we visited on a busy Saturday morning. Make sure you book
C. W.
Had a fantastic time from the moment we were greeted by the Spanish girl on the door, she was very loud and funny and she really gave a welcoming vibe
J.
Delicious and filling breakfast. Recommend. I try to come here as much as possible! Got the full monty
D. D.
A very nice restaurant with a decent selection of food. Service is good but you may wait a bit for the food if it gets busy.
J. K.
I'm reviewing this on the spot. If you're a breakfast fan this is the place. Great food and hip environment. Super friendly. Avocado Egg sandwich is the bomb. If I lived here I'd be coming here constantly.
E. P.
Found this due to Google reviews. OMGeee it is amazing!!! The pancakes were to die for. Really tasty, fluffy with enough syrup and fruit for my liking. The atmosphere and decor was really good, with good music playing in the background. Will definitely be coming here again!!
A. H.
Lovely place for breakfast, great vibes, really nice food - definitely recommend
L. C.
Always come here when going up to brighton for the weekend. Amazing everytime. Great food. Great service. Great prices.
L. R.
Food was very tasty with some excellent service from Ben and Fabio. Bloody Mary was the best I’ve ever had and the Flat White Martini was a great addition after the All American Breakfast. 10/10 would recommend
G. K.
Worth the wait to get a table here, the best breakfast by far. Highly recommended.
A. H.
Breakfast Club have always been a favoured place for food. This one did not disappoint either. Great location with fantastic staff. The food and service was great. The avocado and mojo picon on toast was finger licking good. The reggie veggie was very different and very tasty. The portions were huge and very filling. Great way to start the day
G. T.
Very nice breakfast and friendly staff. Was nice vibe inside to wake up to.
G. B.
Amazing breakfast and coffee. Great choice of cocktails also. Friendly service and atmosphere. A must to visit when in Brighton.
B. E.
Had a relaxed breakfast here with friends. Really good food

HONESTLY the very best Customer Service I have experienced in years, perhaps ever (coming from someone who worked 17 years in luxury).
We came on a super busy Sunday Brunch and despite of the fact that it was maybe little manic the STAFF and Frankie THE Manager very absolutely FAB! My partner is little problematic as he's got a peanut allergy. We were kindly assured but the loveliest waiters (transparent/ perspex framed glasses) and then again by the manager that the restaurant takes any allergies very seriously. We were accommodated very well. The food took long but was outstanding and definitely worth waiting for. It annoys me that the Cafe has 4.3 stars not 5. It literally got to do with the fact how busy it is which is just a sign of the quality and the impressiveness of that very best breakfast place in Brighton. We will be back, great food, decent coffee, Keep the great work TEAM Brighton! Anna and Jamie
S. S.
This was a great place. Looks like converted pub. Vast array of American style breakfast menu, that you have to try. First time visit but definitely not my last. Pancakes, maple syrup, hash brown, fried egg, BACOOOON. Amazing place, I would book to avoid disappointment. Not sure why my last review entry only had 3 stars. But updated to give the true picture of my experience. 5 star and commendation from this judge.
T. B.
Food here was amazing! Fabio went above and beyond with serving us! Will be coming back with the rest of the family.
A. B.
Brilliant breakfast. Cooked to perfection. And decent cup of tea too. Just what you want from a Breakfast! Didn't take any photos because we were too busy tucking in! Lovely staff too. Highly recommend.
f.
I love this place, great food, great coffee and the staff are a 10/10. Is has a amazing feel when you go in, the staff are super friendly and always have a smile and a great attitude!!!! The food is great and is pretty fair priced for what you get. Can highly recommend, but get there early as it's very popular! I defo will be returning.
H. R.
Lovely food and fantastic service. Slightly overpriced drinks (food came to about 30 for three of us, and drinks came to the same)
G. M.
I've been here with my family and we felt immediately welcome. Fabio with extraordinary interaction and charisma made us really enjoy the time here and the great food! Also big up for Ruby for her great service, always smiling and helpful.
L. R.
Tasty food but the pancakes tasted precooked so not totally fresh. Overpriced too but decent portions.
T. C.
One of the best brunch in town.... Eggs Benedict are delicious... Never disappointed... Service can be a bit slow tho
R. G.
excellent service, amazing food and very cool interior, would go back
M. C.
We had breakfast here during our visit to Brighton. The food was amazing. I had the Disco hash which was probably one of the best breakfasts that I’ve ever had. Everything was perfect, and I’m addition to being friendly, the staff found us a table to accommodate our pushchair inside.
K. W.
This was our first visit, and man it was yummy. The Breakfast Sandwich was amazing!
M. B.
The best club sandwich and the best coleslaw I ever ate! And their pancakes... So yummy. Everything on the menu looks so tasty. I love TBC!
K. T.
We went on a Saturday afternoon. Wait was 20 or so minutes. The food was not spectacular, and pricey for the quality. Don’t spend your one lunch in Brighton here.
B. M.
Great atmosphere! Lovely, fun staff. We had the vegan all American, it was nice enough, really rate the scrambled tofu & sausages - would love to see more vegan options!
J. M.
Been here twice during our visit to Brighton and at both times the food was amazing, we leave tomorrow and plan to come back before head off home. The staff are very polite and courteous and work very hard to make the experience as pleasant as possible, keep up the good work!!
Bear in mind of long queues during peak periods but don't forget to either stay in the queue or join the virtual queue as you won't be disappointed when you get in.
K. A.
All in all it was good. The staff was busy, as the place was packed. Food was cooked pretty well. Pancakes were a bit stiff, cup of tea as a bit small. I felt the price was ok for what you got. I'd definitely eat here again and would of given a 4.5 star if we could do half stars.
The wait can be long at times as we saw lots of people standing outside another time we walked by.. so get there early!
B. I.
Friendly staff here give good service. Toilets clean and tidy. Unfortunately the food wasn't that great, mushrooms seemed like they were from a tin rather than fresh, Iceland type hash browns and not proper ones, etc. Also the music was very loud and uncomfortable to eat with and chat to friends. A shame really.
G. B.
Good food, friendly staff, advice booking, get very busy
K. “. H.
Gorgeous food, staff very good with allergies / intolerances. Place was packed and I can see why! Massive portions so be careful when ordering. 100% worth every penny.
O. G.
Very good brekkie! Service was good, recommend you get in early tho, it gets very busy.
Kudos to the fried chicken with eggs Benedict
G. S.
Amazing made to order Breakfasts! They kindly made a vegan breakfast for one member of our party that was outstanding and delivered right on time. Meanwhile the American pancakes that arrived were exactly as you'd hope with perfect bacon and flavoursome maple syrup. If your salivating then get ordering from this great, friendly and accommodating cafe.
J. T.
Probably the best breakfast someone else has ever made for me, I'm fussy, and i LOVED it.
The fry up, the French toast, the eggs Benedict (according to my other half), all of it was amazing.
Breakfast out for me is always a compromise of convenience of someone else doing it vs effort/ quality of doing it myself, today it was not.
I was sat eating it, contemplating the hours drive and the petrol and parking costs it would take to just come here on a random day(here on holiday) it was that good.
The staff were also very polite and friendly and lovely.
All round 5 star. Thank you Brighton breakfast club.
D. N.
Great brunch a couple of weeks ago. Excellent staff, very friendly. Highly recommended
R. T.
Great breakfast, went this morning and was well worth the money! Hidden little gem and can't wait to go again 💕
H. O.
Very nice healthy breakfast, taste delicious , staff very friendly , super Highly recommended.
Y. V.
We've been enjoying brunch and breakfast at BC for a few years now and it's been a great experience every single time. Great food, lovely atmosphere and pleasant staff. If you're looking for brunch in Brighton, then BC is highly recommended!
L. T.
Absolutely fantastic. Worth waiting in the line outside. The food was out of this world and the service was amazing. The lady that served us was incredible and on learning I got engaged the night before, helped us celebrate with some cocktails. Will definitely be back!
S. B. C.
We had such a fun time here! Our waitress, Anniston was such a delight and really made our experience special. They have extensive gluten free offerings and great allergen protocols. A manager took me through the menu and ensured that my dish (The All American) was safe. They can make a number of accommodations including gluten free pancakes and swapping chorizo for the gluten containing sausage. The atmosphere and music made for a great time, we will be back soon!
P. C.
Vegan breakfast of dreams! Huge American style portions so visit hungry
S. L.
Amazing service, the food was delightful! Perfect for a birthday brunch. I was made to feel extra special by Ben and Matt who sat us upstairs to give us a bit more privacy and regularly checked to see if the music was at a good volume for us. Very happy and chirpy energy, people who you can really have a laugh with. I can't recommend this place enough!
J. J.
Delicious food and great atmosphere. Maybe music was a bit too loud but otherwise great. Was fully packed on a sunny Saturday midmorning!
K. B.
Amazing! The breakfast was brilliant the staff were so helpful. We did have a bit of a wait but their queuing system means you don't have to wait outside. Will definitely visit again when we're in Brighton next.
P. I. T. T.
Brilliant place for a big breakfast to start your day! Great coffee and friendly service.
M. G.
Amazing food!! Long wait for everything from drinks.to food and then the bill, but very worth it!
T. M.
Very cool restaurant with great staff. Breakfast was great.
A. S.
The food is great but a bit pricey. The atmosphere is casual, but music sometimes is a bit too loud. Service is friendly but obviously, a bit slow on Sunday morning for brunch. Still, great for a brunch with friends!
D. R.
Enjoyed the experience a lot. Staff were nice. Proration size was more then enough. A better experience than many chains that I have been to.
J. R.
Great smoothies and nice big portions! Hard to decide what to get from such a delicious menu
S. E. M.
Had a great lunch here. The food was wonderful, the staff were friendly and helpful, and my husband said the coffee was the best he'd had for a long time. The apt 80s soundtrack was just the icing on the cake!
S. k.
Was really disappointed as it was my first time going my breakfast was not hot came out warm told staff about it but they was not interested also very over priced.
S. H.
Fantastic place, great food and amazing staff! Worth booking ahead (I said need before, but you can just rock up and see.. felt the need to edit and clarify!)
M.
Awesome breakfast, definitely is a good restaurant. I recommend it.
P. U.
Currently sitting on one of the BC picnic benches and having a marvellous time.
The most wonderful waitress (Libby) isn’t pressuring us to hurry which means we’re enjoying our food and people watching.
The disco hash is fantastic- tangy, salty all round deliciousness. Definitely add the chorizo and halloumi!
Coffee and orange juice great and we can’t wait to try out french toast when it arrives.
I’d recommend coming early or be prepared to wait. Alternatively they have a system where they’ll message you when your table is ready.
I came a few weeks ago with my 5 year old and he loved the pancakes. No child options from memory but I helped him polish them off!
P. S.
This is a great place for a start of the day meal, if you want good food and a nice selection of imaginative breakfast ideas this is the place to go, the menu is varied and they do vegan and vegetarian as well. Friendly service, best to to get there fairly early or book as it is very popular.
G. B.
Brilliant breakfast with a funky twist. Friendly staff and very informative a must to do when in Brighton.
T. T.
This place is very small and also the bread i received was full of oil making it so hard to eat. The staff were lovely but it lacked organisation. The breakfast club is generally nice but maybe other branches are nicer.
H. B.
We had to wait 30 minutes for a table on a busy Sunday late morning, but it was well worth the wait. Lovely staff and fabulous food. I would definitely recommend it.
k. g.
Good variety but expensive. If you like American breakfasts maybe it's for you.
D. W.
Friendly atmosphere and staff, great variety in veggie breakfast.
J. M.
Huge portions of delicious food, great music and retro vibe.
F. A.
Lovely place great music and friendly staff food was served quickly
S. P.
Perhaps a little more expensive than it should be but can't fault it. Very good portions and very good food, nice atmosphere too.
W. Y.
The staff are really great, but the food is just average. Sorry
S. L. T.
Excellent customer service and tasty food. It's always busy but they do really well. I really recommend you to try it!
E. J.
Wow, this place is amazing, food, staff, atmosphere just wow. Don't just take my word for it, go visit and experience it for yourself. Thank you to George and John for making our experience one we will remember and one that will defo bring us back
D. L.
Ok it's a fun story. Me and my daughter, first morning after arriving to Brighton. We found "The Breakfast Club" as almost the only place open for breakfast not far from Pier. (!) There wasn't breakfast at our hotel... perhaps, after pandemic...So, ☕ - a Club 💃🕺 feeling was all over the place, Rolling Stones, 70-s..😎... Pretty awakening! Pancakes are great, and cream is freshly made 🥞
R. J.
Alright food, looks impressive, but is really more style than substance. You can definitely get better food elsewhere.
C. H.
I was looking for a breakfast this was lovely. Everything we had was delicious
G. S.
Haven't been for a couple of year's owing to Covid but as good as always... Luckily I got a table almost immediately and was served as soon as I sat down and the food came not long after.... Staff very friendly and attentive.... Top marks!!
M. R.
Big portions of deliciousness, great staff, delish smoothies
R. J.
Very busy, but efficient service with texting you when your table is ready.
A great waiter who noticed I had dropped some toast and replaced it with even extra! Great American food
C. F.
I have ordered from here via deliveroo loads, the fry up deal is so so good (breakfast, fresh juice and coffee for £13). Only gripe is they've taken the fried bread off the menu, however, if you call they will happily add that to your breakfast. The girl that answers the phone (she seems to answer eveytime so is possibly the host) is so lovely, accommodating and always goes above and beyond. She deserves a pay rise!
K. L.
Amazing food / service. Couldn’t recommend more.
R. C.
Amazing food. Lovely staff. Very popular. Had to queue for an hour+ to get a table. Would recommend booking table online. Definitely worth the wait though!
k. m.
We travelled down for the day as our holiday had been cancelled which was to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. Looked online for somewhere to have breakfast and liked the menu. Well I had the, all American and the pancakes are the best I have ever had. We was also treated to a glass of bubbles each which honestly was the most amazing jester and really made us smile. Huge thank you to the team for such an amazing start to our day x
A. M.
Amazing breakfast as it should brilliant service too
J. G.
Excellent pancakes. Really lovely place for breakfast. Can get busy but worth it.
J. B.
Oh my days. The good here was incredible. Would move to Brighton just to eat here every day!
S. S.
Fantastic service and food, great veggie and vegan menu. Will definitely go back again
T. S.
Got super lucky as a table hadn't turned up. You need to book ahead! Thankfully we arrived at the perfect time as we had a wonderful experience. The staff were awesome, very attentive. All of the food was out of this world, in particular the sweetcorn hash fritters with poached eggs. Mmmmm.
H. M.
Lovely staff, nice atmosphere and great food!
K. S.
Lovely food, Eggs bennie delicious 😋. It always seems busy but lucky to get a table!! Will definitely come again!!
S. S.
A distinctly average brunch, I think it didn't help that they were so busy (it was Saturday lunchtime). Our waitress was friendly but obviously overworked. Maybe they need to employ more waiting staff? We sat outside, it felt like we were forgotten and we had to remind them a few times that we were out there. I love the vibe of Breakfast Club, and drinking a proper mug of tea is rare joy away from home, but after this experience I don't think I'll go back.
C. P.
Great Food and Brilliant Service. Ben greeted and seated us with a Smile and looked after us for the whole duration of our Breakfast... Highly recommend the Food and Service here... 😁😁😁
C. M.
Brilliant breakfast. Great coffee. Good veggie options too!
P. M.
Great place, food excellent, top service from Rachel Ben and the team
G. S.
Great food , great service ! ? ..
seated within 10mons down side waited 45mins for food to be placed on table .... only two off us too.. one T one coffee .. one bacon butty one full mont.. ...
J. S.
It's ok. The Breakfast burger wasn't bad, but they didn't ask which sauce we wanted and put ketchup, I would have had brown sauce and mustard. Pancakes were doughy and we left them. Asked for water and it didn't arrive until we'd finished our breakfast and only a tiny cup. Probably won't go back or visit any of the other locations.
M. H.
Probably one of the best breakfasts I remember having. The staff are real good as well. Very nice place.
J. C.
IT does what it says on the tin! You'll get a tasty meal, but you won't be blown away!
J. S.
Awesome breakfast here, even started making the hash at home as it was so good!
J. R.
Had a lovely breakfast here and the staff are super friendly. Nice place to come with friends or just by yourself for a quick bite.
C. P.
Great Food and Brilliant Service. Ben greeted and seated us with a Smile and looked after us for the whole duration of our Breakfast... Highly recommend the Food and Service here... 😁😁😁
J. W.
Food is amazing, lots of menu choices. The perfect hangover cure
P. U.
Currently sitting on one of the BC picnic benches and having a marvellous time.
The most wonderful waitress (Libby) isn’t pressuring us to hurry which means …
C. M.
Brilliant breakfast. Great coffee. Good veggie options too!
G. W.
Came for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon and absolutely loved it! Fabio, George and Libby absolutely smashed it! Will be back again :)
S. B. C.
We had such a fun time here! Our waitress, Anniston was such a delight and really made our experience special. They have extensive gluten free offerings and great allergen protocols. A manager took me through the menu and ensured that my …

100% would recommend! Their food was so so tasty and filling and service was great too! ❤️
J. R.
Had a lovely breakfast here and the staff are super friendly. Nice place to come with friends or just by yourself for a quick bite.
K. S.
We had a lovely brunch here! It was busy but the staff were great as was the food! We sat outside which was lovely, they do a happy hour deal so we got some great cocktails for £5 I would highly recommend. We had Sweet corn fritters and full vegan which were delicious.
S. P.
Popped in for a midweek brunch, had the classic american breakfast and the wakey shakey cocktail, very tasty start to the day! Would highly recommend
M. M.
The perfect place to chill and enjoy a good breakfast in great surroundings...
S. D.
Pancakes and coffee were both very delicious, very friendly service.
B. M.
I thought it was all bait average actually, I don't understand all the fuss. The service was very good, but you pay enough money for the staff to be properly trained, the food was....... okay
H. B.
Very cozy place and the menu is full of delicious options. If I could, I’ll would eat everything but, it would be impossible anyway. The dishes are all well served, very generous.
The only negative point is the long attendance. If you go in a Saturday morning, probably you’ll wait outside for a long time before to get a table, which is not a good idea, mainly in a cold and windy city as Brighton. Apart this, the service after is very quick and the staff very friendly.
K.
Chilled out place for breakfast. Food plentiful although the staff didn't quite cook the sausages as requested. Coffee latte good taste but not hot enough, European temperature I guess! Quick efficient service and staff pleasant and attentive.
C. C.
I absolutely loved it here! Met a few friends for a final finner before they left and it was the best food and atmosphere we could have asked for! Would die to have the playlist !!!
a. f.
Lovely place to come for breakfast. Visited twice during my weekend in brighton. They get very busy but they managed to fit us in both times. Portions are huge so consider going for the half portion. I had yogurt, granola, mixed berries, honey and coconut which was delicious. The sweetcorn fritters were a tasty change for breakfast treat.
J. C.
Really lovely meal at the Breakfast Club, the staff were all super friendly despite how busy they were! They all seemed so genuine and not robotic like you get in a lot of places. Coffees were really nice with great latte art. We will be back when we are next in town!
J. W.
Food is amazing, lots of menu choices. The perfect hangover cure
J. M.
Great food, huge portions
Costly if you haven't got a gargantuan appetite
n. t.
Food was nice, staff a bit 'full on' we were asked six times if "everything was ok for you guys" I'm a fifty year old man, I don't want to be asked if "everything is ok for us guys" six times
A. S.
It's a lovely spot to enjoy a meal. The food was delicious!
M. H.
What a breakfast! Great Pancakes, amazing Breakfast sandwiches, huge portions, very hospitable staff. Great experience all around!
Z. D.
Imogen was amazing, thank you so much x
E. R.
The customer service was really great but the good experience kinda ends there. I ordered a veggie breakfast and when it came it looked as though the food was probably from yesterday and just heated up. Mind you the food only stayed warm until I was about a quarter of the way through and not particularly plentiful. The meal wasn't particularly cheap so I just expected a little more.
J. Q.
All American was possibly the best breakfast I have ever eaten. I would recommend to anyone who eats meet. Great start to the day.
J. L.
I never normally leave reviews but we are regulars here, we came in on a really busy bank holiday Monday, they were clearly understaffed but the staff were excellent, very friendly even though I could see they were stressed. Had to wait a little while for food but considering how busy they were I felt this was to be expected. I really enjoyed my reggie the veggie and my partner his full English breakfast and we will continue returning to the breakfast club as we always love the food and the service.
M. H.
Probably one of the best breakfasts I remember having. The staff are real good as well. Very nice place.
B. C.
Came here on a bustling Saturday morning. I was surprised with how friendly all the staff were considering how busy it was. I had an All American and a Mexican eggs. Over all the food was really good and tasty. My eggs were a little bit hard but honestly I would definitely return and recommend. 5 starts
J. W.
Food excellent but both food and hot drinks took far too long to arrive possibly due to stacks of deliveroo orders
s. g.
Ridiculous breakfasts, well worth every penny. The coffee is amazing too. Always worth the wait in the virtual queue
E. R.
All american is my the best. Although last time i went the sausage wasn't super good
M. j.
The food was ok not upto the hype. Very long waiting queue in the morning of course. A bit pricey as per the potion size and quality. Staff was very kind though. we had a bit issue with good and they dint charge us which was nice of them.
S. T.
Our waitress was very attentive. Breakfast pancakes were gorgeous. Half a portion would have suited all of us bar one person who managed to eat the full plate. Will definitely visit again and soon.
K. M.
Huge portions and good quality food. We went midweek and had the place to ourselves!
K. R.
Great "All American" OTT Menu, Somehow they managed to make what should be a greasy spoon breakfast into something bordering on gourmet with the presentation and twists on each dish.
Huge portions that defeated us :P.
Staff and atmosphere were great and the decoration is something be behold!!.
*Side note, Covid steps all very clear and well executed*
n. s.
Much less hectic than the London versions, but still very busy. A good selection of food and drink for breakfast, the posh sausage sandwich was very good. The home style potatoes are delicious! Food and drink is quite expensive, but tasty and fresh. Staff are usually very friendly
S. P.
I had the all American which was good. I substituted the potatoes for avocado. They served the pancakes with real maple syrup which was nice. The streaky bacon was perfectly crispy and crunchy. The only thing that let it down were that the pancakes which were a bit dry and crumbly.
Venue is nice, staff are friendly and it had a great relaxed atmosphere.
P. L.
The pancakes come in ridiculously large portions so I would suggest asking for a kids portion which is half the price. Also they never give enough syrup so make sure you ask for an extra pot. I got the disco fries the second time I went which were tasty but they forgot to put the cheese on, and the rest of my group (7 people) weren't happy with their orders. The best thing about this place is the decor (however the music is a bit too loud to be able to hear what other people are saying!) and the big breakfast smoothie - which was really delicious.
A. H.
It was very busy when I arrived. Get me a table immediately. Food was absolutely delicious, the portion is amazing. I could not even finish it. Frankie my server was brilliant, very friendly and kind. Even though it was very busy she had a few words with everyone. Excellent experience, definitely coming back. 😍
J. B.
Best breakfast I have ever had! The fireball chicken and waffles is never dissapointing. The service is incredibly friendly but occasionally there is a wait to get a table. But overall would highly recommend to anyone who love great breakfast!
b. b.
Got seated straight away (Got in early, tip no.1) they sorted out the wife as she's GF. But point to note, they only do Oat milk as an alternative to dairy milk. No good if your GF intolerant!! So bring your own preferred milk as they will make you a tea/coffee with it...👍
The food we had was good and tasted good but the BC isn't cheap. Saying that, we were welcomed and listened to regarding food tolerances, didn't have to wait long and other than the milk had all we wanted. Maybe the BC should stock soya milk too👍
K.
Great food, delicious pancakes, but a tad too expensive.
K. W.
Excellent service at this establishment, Food was delicious and was even granted some cooking tips as my boyfriend enjoyed the hash browns so much he wanted to recreate at home and the breakfast club were more than happy to oblige!
Louis served us and was polite, friendly and helpful! Being offered water without having to ask is a luxury many establishments never offer and it was very much appreciated!
K. B.
Very good service and really good combinations of dishes the fries are the best
J. W.
Very popular place. Only had a coffee but the menu looks good
K. S.
Best breakfast I've ever had. Pancakes better than IHOP! Special mentions to Ben, Frankie and the kitchen team. Thank you all for giving us a perfect start to the day!
H.
First time coming here and will defo be back! Fab breakfast - disco hash with chorizo and the vegan pancakes. Drinks good too - wakey shakey and the big breakfast smoothie. Friendly and helpful staff. Would like to shout out our waiter, it was his trial shift and he did great! Check in and one way system done well too. Can't wait to come back for pancake day!!
O. S.
Went for brunch with a friend food was amazing! Also had lovely customer service from narissa she was very helpful and kind and didn't make me feel embarrassed when i accidentally smashed a glass! Will be returning next time im in brighton :)
S. v.
Service was amazing staff were fab, I had the avocado on rye bread with salmon - looked impressive but really dry. The house potatoes were delicious though!
Partner had the chicken burger which was a bit cold / stale and not enough of each ingredient. The food let it down which was a shame.
Great place and nice ambience in the centre of Brighton. Maybe try the pancakes as they looked awesome going out

Decided to go to The Breakfast club with 15 girls having had an amazing weekend.
Although the breakfast was ok however the pancakes were amazing. The service we received was appalling. The waitress couldn't work the bill out and she was very argumentative. She wasn't helpful at all.
As we left I popped back in to collect something I had forgotten I could hear her and a colleague talking and moaning about us.

Absolutely fabulous food, in very large portions! There is usually a queue, however there is a quick turnaround, and the staff are super friendly and helpful too! All round amazing experience! One of the best American breakfast diners I've been to! Highly recommended!

Thoroughly enjoyed my visit here. Doesn't pretend to be anything it isn't, just proper good, laid back good food.
Good portion sizes (be surprised anyone leaves here not feeling full!) Often with places like this, you can get what you pay for and sometimes even less, but in this case it was very much value for money.
Service was decent, and pretty quick considering how full it was on a Friday lunchtime. There was a bit of a wait for anyone to acknowledge us when we arrived, but it was more due to busyness than anything else I think. Would highly recommend a visit here!

Very nice choice of breakfasts. Cute decor, kind of English pub but elegant. Our guests were impressed. Everyone was happy with their choice, the preparation and presentation. Not rushed. Will definitely return.

Our second experience here - brunch this time and I enjoyed it far more than the over crowded Sunday breakfast experience soon after it opened.
The quality of food and drink here is excellent, service is quick and with a smile too. Staff are particularly knowledgeable about the food served and the breakfast menu choice is second to none.

Really lovely quality of service, food and atmosphere. The only (very minor) comment was that there was a slightly stronger taste of vinegar on the poached eggs than I'd have liked.
Other than that it was perfect.
I had The Full Monty, swapping out the mushrooms and beans for spinach and avocado, with a Vegan Protein Shake on the side.
Y. M.
Food is really good but I think it's a bit overpriced
J. D.
Had quite a wait but it was worth it. Really unique breakfast experience. Will certainly visit again

Staff were friendly but we were seated at the end of someone else's table, music was also so loud it was overbearing. Had the veggie breakfast - sausage was worse than supermarket bought brands, expected baked beans but got an odd alternative which wasn't great, mushrooms were leathery.
L. K.
Just had a great breakfast at this venue.
Staff are genuinely friendly, food menu is vast with plenty of choice and doesn't cost the earth. Decent prices at a cool place. Definitely worth a return visit for sure.

Good location, waiting time was quite good too considering we went at a very busy period. Friendly staff gives it a great atmosphere. I'd recommend the food though it took a bit long to come out, we had to get the guy to check after a while so not sure how long meals were siftimgcthere for. Overall, happy.

I loved it. The virtual queue is such a good idea! The food is INCREDIBLE and the staff are all lovely too! ☺️
A. W.
This is a wonderful place - theres nearly always a queue and it's easy to understand why. The staff are just fantastic and the food is excellent. Would thoroughly recommend!
E. B.
When in here on a whim on Sunday at about 2pm. Place was busy but still have free tables. The food was spectacular! Will definitely be visiting there again. We had the Elvis waffles, bacon pancake and a chicken wrap. Three empty plates and full bellies.
J. S.
I enjoyed my pancakes but my friend thought his breakfast was just greasy, his eggs looked like they were cooked in dirty oil.
S. B.
Really lovely breakfast club. Went here this morning for a breakfast before heading home to Swansea. The interior is quirky and retro and the service was really friendly and attentive. Food was high quality and reasonably priced. Would definitely return and recommend.
E. K.
Very friendly staff and delicious food
A. B.
Food was great, the service was quick and friendly! love to visit again
j. b.
Delicious pancakes and bacon with syrup. Lovely staff too

. . . staff were very welcoming . . . and helpful when I asked for food slightly different to menu . . . and staff very very friendly - chatted with several of them : interesting menu and my breakfast was lovely . . . thank you guys - I'll be back ! / Anne
A. V.
Amazing food and great staff really friendly and helpful! Was my first time visiting this place but will definitely come back when I’m staying over at Brighton again! What a great selection of music too Just what you need to kick start your day! Loved it!!!! Definitely would recommend! 😊
R. C.
The cool tiki bar style of this place is brilliant and I like how each branch has its own theme and feeling. The menu is fantastic, American breakfasts to huge burgers, snacks and sides, a good choice of drinks and a nice atmosphere with friendly and attentive staff. Well worth a visit.
R. B.
There's an enormous queue outside and you're asked to wait 30 - 50 minutes for a table. Then when you actually get in it appears half the tables are empty. Service is very slow and it takes a few turns for them to bring everything. This place is just poorly managed and the kitchen probably is not operating at required capacity. Unfortunately the food is not worth waiting that long for, plenty of better options in Brighton.
N. O.
Good restaurant very busy when I went staff seemed a bit overwhelmed but still cordiale I ordered the All American Breakfast and the breakfast smoothie, the All American breakfast was good and so far is pretty close to what you can get back in the U.S the bacon like U.K bacon is still a slightly different cut so if you're looking for American bacon your mileage may vary. The smoothie was quite goo but overpriced to me but it was a celebration so I didn't mind shilling out a bit more money.
S. C.
Amazing food and super friendly staff! Will definitely go next time I am down :) highly recommend 👌
D. O.
Staff were super friendly and very upbeat. The food was great I would highly recommend visiting this restaurant
E. A.
Amazing food. Made my daughter's birthday extra special with no prior notice. Catered for my mum's dietary requirements without a problem and made dishes off menu.
M. J.
Incredible milkshakes and food - would 100% go back again. Loved the atmosphere and the electronic queueing system meant we didn’t have to wait in any lines. Was completely stuffed by the end because I could not stop eating!
L. V.
Amazing eggs Benedict breakfast. Staff are super friendly and the menu is a mix of classics with a twist. Retro decor and a positive energy. Great brunch spot.
G. W.
Came for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon and absolutely loved it! Fabio, George and Libby absolutely smashed it! Will be back again :)
S. P. (.
Warm and friendly welcome with great service. Very organised and professional. Food was lovely and fresh.
V. A.
This was the best restaurant I’ve ever been to! Our waitress was lovely and the food was amazing. The atmosphere of the breakfast club is always cheerful and everyone is smiling. I would recommend the breakfast club sandwich which you can choose any combo on the menu and that will be in your sandwich. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Waited almost 15 min to be seated. After initial greeting we were left wondering what was going on. We ordered and again waited half an hour for the order. I was disappointed with my choice as chorizo hash made me think of corned beef hash, and it wasn't. Sure I could have asked but after the first 2 setbacks, this just added to a poor experience.
F. A.
Seriously amazing pancakes, Get there early though as there was a big queue.
R. B.
Funky, quirky bright and cheerful! Lovely place for breakfast, and very popular. £2.50 for a cup of tea though, and a few other things on the menu are silly prices. Its weird because some things arent too bad, i think eggs royale was under a tenner which is quite cheap these days. Wouldve been 5 stars, i like 2 cups of tea when i eat brekkie out, not paying a 5er for the privelage
N. G.
Went to Brighton for a couple days on holiday, went to this place for breakfast the food was so good! They do the best pancakes and the service was great. Lots of choice on the menu and nice american style breakfasts. I would definetly come here again when im next in Brighton
E. M.
The best breakfast in Brighton, by far! The All American is always my go too. Excellent coffee. Staff are really nice and friendly. There is something a wait for a table, but it's always worth it!
P. E.
Good food but pancakes + bacon was a slog to eat on account of the tiny drizzle of syrup applied to 4 1/2 inch thick pancakes. Nice but dry as hell. Only the cup of tea saved me.
v.
Good as usual :) A nice place to go when you want something different but still really good 😋
D. B.
Don't be fooled by the menu. These look like all day breakfast snacks but they are very fulling amazingly tasty full meals. Delicious grub, relaxed atmosphere sensible prices xx
T.
If you want a hardy breakfast treat then thus is the place for you. They all have their own unique style and generally get real busy around 9am at the weekends. Pay attention to Google when it tells you the least busy times to go to avoid queing. They've everything from American pancakes to the cabbies full English. Love it. Not cheap but the quality is high.
M. l.
Lovely food for great prices. They serve the best pancakes I have ever tried and portions are very generous.
You don't have to wait for ages and the staff is very friendly.
S. G.
Literally the best ever pancakes i’ve ever had!! The staff was lovely and the menu was really nice.
B. P.
Delicious food, great prices. Fantastic atmosphere and very attentive staff. Small wait to get in when I went, but that's only indicative of a popular hotspot
N. W.
Just okay considering with the price and the food 👌🏻
j. k.
Top quality service and good food.
A. M.
Great food, lovely staff, good waiting system when it's busy
T. W.
Great selection of brunchy food. Interesting interiors. Friendly staff but service when we went one very quiet lunch time seemed a little slow. There were only two other tables.
Gets very busy at the weekends.
R. G.
The food was not bad and the service was nice. It ha a lot of disgusting and fat customers. Because they’re so “LGBTQ+...” friendly there were also a lot of wierdows creeping around + the floor was dirty (for example sausages were lying around)
A. M.
Wonderful place to get pancakes! Felt like an American diner but with great food. Atmosphere was nostalgic and the menus were very cool. Prices were fair and bathrooms were very clean.
M. V.
Amazing pancakes! We come here occasionally because we can't stop dreaming about them. It is quite busy at brunch time but it's always well worth the wait.
N. R.
Amazing food for vegans who are also gluten intolerant , highly recommended also for great service .
You may have to wait to get a table bit it's so worth it !
D. P.
Friendly staff. Good food. Good location.
A. S.
It's pretty 'cool' and I've been here several times. Food is ok all I'd say is the service is painfully slow. I ordered a cocktail and it took 20 odd minutes. The breakfast is yummy and the merch is cool.
A. W.
Oh yes breakfast heaven. What an up beat place. Friendly staff, great music...lovely choice of food with some healthy options. Clean.
S. D.
Love the breakfast club !
It's not as spacious as the ones in London (liver pool st) but it's alright when it's not too busy.
I'm heartbroken that they've stopped the tropical hamster smoothies but the food is still good.
Tbh I only ever order the all American breakfast and they do it right everything.
If you like amendments to you order i.e. Less Carmel and more milk in Carmel smoothie
they listen to requests.
G. A.
Philly Cheese Burger and disco fries were just what I needed after a night out. Food took a while but I was served by Mary M who was very friendly who catered to our every need. Would definitely go back to to great food and lovely staff👍🏽👍🏽
H. M.
Hella good chicken and waffles! Also service was unreal
A. M.
Eighties music, great coffee, decent well presented food with a friendly atmosphere, it's like they actually want customers.
J. G.
Nice place and friendly service, though a tad slow. Had the vegan/glutenfree pancakes, which were so dry and grainy that I regreted my choice. But the people around me seemed to enjoy their food.
G. M.
Service excellent, breakfast great. We are early birds so pleasantly surprised it was open at 08:00 AM.
After breakfast you can walk it off by exploring the nearby pavilion. Definitely recommend it if you want a hearty breakfast with pleasant service.
S. M.
Loved this restaurant!! Amazing breakfast. Great service. Will definitely be back again soon. Sarah & Fred , Essex
P. A.
great breakfast place!! really love the waffle
A. W.
First time visiting today well impressed lovely breakfast and well looked after.
D. M.
Really enjoyed my breakfast here. Cute place and good service. Food was a little more expensive than I'd like but it's Brighton after all! Food was quite tasty though so didn't feel ripped off.
V. S.
Had the bacon cheese burger was absolutely amazing best burger I have ever had and fries were also amazing a little salty and a small pot of sauce highly recommend. Staff was also very nice. Definitely coming back
S. T.
It was OK. Bacon, sausage, beans & toast all good, but mushroom raw, black pudding musty & cappuccino just warm & brown with no taste of coffee. Nice decor & friendly staff but loud for breakfast time when you just want to chill
A. W.
Can get pretty busy on the weekends, due to their popularity, so make sure you either get there early or prepare yourself for a wait! I normally grab a takeaway on my way to work in the mornings or sometimes drop in for a late breakfast on days off. Food has always been delicious.
M. L.
Ordered full monty without beans due to allergies. They took it very seriously and served the perfect meal. Great place and a very friendly staff. Psssst.. even better than the one they have in London<3
S. S.
Amazing! So accommodating for gluten free customers, made me gluten free pancakes and substituted glutenous parts of my meal in for non-gluten items. Should advertise this more clearly on their website as I was beyond impressed
S. E.
Great staff, Uber friendly and good food!
N. K.
The place was pretty cool but unfortunately the food was rushed. My sandwich was so messy on the plate I couldn't even pick it up to eat. Milkshake was super good though.
A. F.
Great service and very pleasant staff. Good quality food
R. O. G.
Really great breakfast and being very busy speaks for its popularity.
P. T.
This Breakfast Club is the only one to offer Student and NHS discounts.
Nice Open Venue, quick efficient service - we didn't have to queue for more than 10 minutes at peak time.
We ordered 3 Full Monty's and an Eggs Benedict. 2 Teas and Choc Shakes. There was a Jug of complimentary water on the table.
The Shakes were nice and thick; and teas were served in a traditional mug with a tea bag.
I've been to the Hoxton Breakfast club many times before and in comparison the Breakfasts were a little disappointing. The Fried Mushrooms/Tomato and Black Pudding were undercooked for my taste so I left them. Unfortunately the Bacon was cooked to a dry crisp; But the eggs were cooked to perfection. Also the Toast was rather dry. This was consistent with all 3 Montys.
The waiter was attentive and the toilets (separate cubicles with sinks) were spotless.
I do like The Breakfast Clubs, even when I have to queue - but on this occasion in Brighton thought it could have been better.
R. C.
Good breakfast and worth the queue on a cold morning. It does get busy so be prepared to wait for a table. Great variety of breakfast items on the menu and everything we had was enjoyable.
T. F.
The long wait is almost not worth the food which on the occasion did not deliver because my partners food was dry...probably because it was sitting below heat lamps for over 30 min. The Virgin Mary was exceptional however.
m.
Range of gluten free, dairy free, vegan and vegetarian options that don't just feel like substituted standard menu options. Moderately priced, really friendly service, great coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice.
B. C. W.
We managed to snag a table outside first thing this morning.
Very polite staff, great food and a great vibe.
O. W.
Highly recommend this gem. I have been a couple of times and the food has always been delicious. The service is great too. This will always be my go to place for breakfast when visiting Brighton.
S. H.
Lovely food and great service. It needs a deep clean very grubby( Brighton branch) Tables are sticky and toilets need an update. Such a shame as service and food amazing and the facilities let you down. Head office should be ashamed your seaside branch is an asset ( clean it up ).
Z. F.
Great food. Amazing staff very friendly. Would highly recomend.
B. B.
Very nice, had to book in advance, I am aware very popular. Food was good not fantastic if I'm honest.
A. C.
Delicious food, friendly staff and we were sat with a lovely chap.
N. E.
Even though staff were busy they were super friendly, i ordered a secret menu item via samsung and it did not dissappoint, although..complete sugar overload. Great food and service in an awesome atmosphere
Thanks!
V. L.
Retro decoration, cozy atmosphere, extremely friendly and happy staff! Great service, best quality products, one of the best breakfasts I ever had! Loved it, highly recommend it!
M. M.
Amazing place, amazing breakfast and nice staff. Totally recommended!!
K. B.
Good food and decent staff. Had to wait 20 minutes to be seated despite the fact that there were multiple tables available during that time. Food was good.
L. C.
Full monty is awesome, however i went there recently and the potatoes were undercooked. The chef apologized immediately and re made the whole meal for me and my friend and also have us a free pint on the house. very good service, i highly recommend.
G. E.
Amazing place. Every meal has been great every single time.
