J. B.Excellent fish & chips. My dad recommended them as the best and he wasn’t wrong. The cod was succulent and flaky, the large portion was huge and even the small was what I would call large. The batter was crispy and flavoursome with just the right amount of soft bits, not too soggy or greasy. We had 1 large portion of chips between 4 of us and that was enough. Would definitely recommend.
B. H.Ordered 3 small cod and 1 portion of large chips.. wow.. glad I never asked for large cod.. the portion was fabulous..and plenty of chips.. Fish batter was crisp and crunchy and chips were brilliant too. Highly recommend this place.. Well done to all staff.

The member of staff who served me was talking on the phone using his ear piece all the time he was serving me. The younger generation may find this acceptable but for someone serving customers on the front counter, I do not.
He had to ask me details of the order when he made it up because he left part off.
I asked for a small chips which was enough to serve 4 adults. This I find extremely wasteful.
The quality of the food was excellent although more expensive than the shop I usually use.
D. G.Always enjoy my fish which was cooked while I waited the chips are very good not dry but lovely and moist! Have never been disappointed the quality of the fish is amazing lovely crunchy batter!
