I have never had a bad meal in the Bolero Lounge, the food is great, the atmosphere is relaxed and the staff are superb. They have a huge gluten free menu, their menu has something for everyone and they do daily deals throughout the week. I would highly recommend tapas Tuesdays where you get to pick 3 dishes and a glass of wine for only !12! Definitely worth a visit!

Great atmosphere, like being on a taverna abroad. Great selection of food and drinks. Being very fussy about my food, I frequently find it difficult to find something I would like/want to eat but here I had the opposite problem of having so many things I really wanted. Choices for another day. The service was excellent and the staff friendly.

It’s a great place to take some time off and relax with the atmosphere and vibes of the place. I like coming here with my daughter and dog and both enjoy it. The staff are friendly and treated the dog with a treat and some water. The food and drinks are amazing. 5 stars ✨

Surprised by the many negative reviews as really enjoyed the food and service here! I had a very delicious burger which was easy to eat due to its size. The staff were all really friendly and wait time was exceptionally short. Lovely cosy interior as well. Will definitely be back!

Have eaten here a few times. Always a great atmosphere. Food is really nice never had a bad experience, good selection of food and drinks, however only one cider on tap which is what holds it back from a 5 star review. Food is quite reasonably priced but the drinks are quite expensive. The service is always excellent and the staff are very friendly.

Had the big breakfast and my god did that not disappoint. I do have a great fondness for large portions but even that was to much for me. The place was busy and the kitchen and staff dealt with it brilliantly. Great food great service. 5 out of 5.

Odd set up as we had to wait to be seated but then told it was order at the bar! Either do table service or don't. Food was good with an excellent vegan menu for my companion. Venue itself is quirky and fun.

Have generally enjoyed coming here, and the family like it when we're in the area. Ordered from the Tapas menu, and got some chicken wings that were between lukewarm and fridge cold. Then I was too British to actually complain. In some ways more disappointed that the food is microwaved and not cooked fresh than that that particular dish was cold.

I'm coeliac and there is always a good choice of gluten free foods at Bolero Lounge. It was busy, but a table was soon available, food was great, staff were friendly and very helpful. Only negative is that the lighting is very dim and can make reading the menu a little difficult at times!

Great range of food on the menu, separate vegan and gluten free menus available. We hadn't booked but were able to just walk in, greeted by friendly staff. Food was delivered really quickly and the mobile service for COVID-19 worked really well. I would definitely recommend the tapas plate, choice of 3 delicious tapas and a general portion of ciabatta for £10.95!!

What a difference since my last review! Met promptly at the door by, I think, the manager. Parking is easy and really close to the restaurant. Dog friendly. The manager took great care with regards to my wife's gluten and dairy free requirements, checking the items we ordered. Other members of staff were very friendly, and our dog was offered water bowl and treat. Breakfast muffins and fries were hot and well presented. Excellent coffee and cake as well. As someone who has worked in a special needs school, it was brilliant to see that the employment policy is extended to members of this community, who incidently, did a fantastic job! Well done all, thoroughly recommend.

Nice atmosphere and clean environment. Food ordered via the app not simple but worth the effort as all our meals were cooked as per order and arrived at our table nice and hot as were our drinks. Food is in my opinion slightly on the expensive side but in these trying times it's understandable. Will definitely be returning in the future and thanks for making our breakfast a happy occasion.

Coffee was good as was the service. Unfortunately we had to leave early as my friend with a dust allergy found it very difficult to stay. All looked clean( under the extremely low light levels) untill we looked up to see the beautiful fabric light shades with layers of dust on the tops. Must hav been collecting it for ages. ..a shame as otherwise a nice place.

My husband and I had a really good experience at Bolero Lounge. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The menu is excellent as they cater for everyone - our vegetarian meal was delicious! The premises is accessible for wheelchair users and we were very impressed at the cleanliness of the wash-room. We will definitely be visiting again and we thoroughly recommend the business.

Great, friendly service. Well laid out external tables. Excellent and varied menu. Had breakfast this morning - American pancakes, which were light and fluffy, with tasty crispy bacon and maple syrup - absolutely delicious. Washed down with a really good cup of coffee. For less than £7 it was fantastic value. Always consistently good, I'm delighted the Bolero Lounge has so far survived COVID.

I have to say this is my favourite place to eat. The staff are incredible, I went for lunch on Sunday and there was one man waiting on the whole establishment, yet he was still friendly and quite funny! He made us feel welcome. The food was delicious as always. I recommend the home made drinks! We will definitely be back.

Food really nice, service wasn't great, they weren't rude or anything but when we have finished our mains and order pudding, you expect the dirty plates to be cleared away..we just stacked them ourselves and they were even still there when we had paid and were leaving. Drinks took over 15 mins to arrive..for one beer.

This place was busy. When we ordered we were told that there would be a 30 to 40 min wait, so you were given the chance to go elsewhere if you were in a hurry. Food was delicious and plenty of it. Good size portion and all hot. Lovely relaxed place with different seating, tables and chairs, high tables with stool and settees so lots to please whatever type if dinning you are after.

Visited here for the first time last night for my birthday celebration with my dearest friends. The staff were so friendly, ensuring our food was OK, we were all enjoying ourselves but were not intrusive. The food was really good. We all left saying we would return and it's an idea location for us, around the mid point to where we all live. Excellent experience. Thank you.

Love the atmosphere, decor and seating. Choose from standard table and chairs to a sofa or armchair. Have had breakfast, lunch and evening meals here and never been disappointed. Good value for money. Staff are very attentive and friendly. Gorgeous cakes!! Tapas maybe a little overpriced but very tasty. Will def be visiting many more times.

Lovely space - big and bright and furnished nicely. Loads of room for small gatherings, family meals, or catch-ups with a friend. Small amount of outside seating for those sunny days. Awesome selection of local products, food selection is great and not complicated - full vegan and gluten-free menus available along with the regular menu. Coffee is absolutely spot on.

One of my favourite restaurants to go to as my local. Food is lovely, nice atmosphere and very sophisticated. Not often waiting too long for food either! EDIT: Came back here after 6 months, this time being dairy intolerant. Told waitress (new staff) my dietary requirements so she said the manager would take my order. She asked whether it was an intolerance or allergy I said intolerance so she referred me to use the QR code menu. (Not sure why it was necessary to ask that, if you can't have it, you cant have it..) Food came out with BUTTER etc. I made the waiter clear of my intolerance and he brought the manager over who talked me through what I could have. The waitress hadn't made anyone aware of my dietary needs, she didn't even apologise to me, the waiter and manager did for her.. I couldn't find anything on the menu suitable for dairy intolerance, vegan is all spicy. By this point my boyfriend had his meal and the manager told me I couldn't have burgers or anything and so I had a GF vegan burger which wasn't something I was overly happy about having (why can't they just put a beef burger in a GF dairy free bun I don't know?) So after 30 minutes the food finally arrived, boyfriend was beginning to get hungry even after he'd finished his and I was starving. Though I didn't pay for the new meal (very grateful for) I had still paid for the meal I hadn't recieved. As someone who is dairy intolerant I don't think I'll be returning for food anytime soon. Would love to see a dairy free menu!

Look I really like the 'Lounge' concept I go to many of the restaurants around the area. But lately the staff just let it down. Usually 2 in every 5 members just don't pull their weight. The music is up high for a staff members favourite track and never returned to normal volume. Or condiments are empty. Food orders: always something is incorrect or needs to be sent back. Tables cleaned but chairs sticky. Water is available but glasses are dirty. Amazing decoration but light bulbs need replacing. Loads of gluten free and vegan options but no vegan condiments. Child friendly place but you need to ask for child cutlery and child seat. Staff ask if the meal is alright as about to finish. Its almost there and I feel with just 10 -20% better management they would be the best place around by far. Guys it's not to late to win back customers. Pull fingers out now to save yourselfs

Great diverse menu. Nice food. Service was slow - took 40 mins for food to arrive and venue was only half full. Not the end of the world as we weren't in any sort of rush. Would go again to give a fair judgement as that particular morning there could have been a credible reason for the delay.

Gorgeous little find in Yate. Parked in the leisure centre car park (4hrs free parking, privately owned car park) the lounge is bigger than it looks on photos; tables & chairs, sofas. The walls are covered in framed art, enough to spark inspiration or conversation. Ordering food: the staff were really approachable, ordered 2 paninis at the bar & staff bought them over to the table. My panini wasn't great, this was resolved by a replacement - which wasn't any better! 🙈 after complaining once, I didn't want to say anything again so we went for a walk before shortly returning to the lounge. A member of staff approached and issued a full refund with an apology. Couldn't fault the customer service at all :) It's very colourful so lovely setting to relax in for a few hours with friends,family or colleagues.

Went to the Café for brunch, it was busy. The music at a good volume, not too loud. Staff at the bar were polite, friendly and helpful. We had a Veggie and a Lounge Breakfast, two mugs of Caramel Latte and a large glass of freshly squeezed OJ. I exchanged a tomato for a hash brown with no fuss at all. We sat in the window at table #1, it was clean, tidy and the chairs were comfortable. Napkins and cutlery were placed on the table shortly after ordering. The coffee arrived after approximately 4-5 minutes, they tasted delicious. Not too much syrup. The food arrived shortly afterwards, about another 5-10 minutes later. The food was lovely, everything on our plates was cooked perfectly. The halloumi & sweetcorn fritters served with the Veggie Breakfast were sublime. On the Lounge Breakfast the Smoked Back Bacon and Sausage Patty were very tasty. Once we had eaten our food the plates were taken away promptly. Overall a very comfortable and pleasant experience. Definitely worth a visit, we will be going back in the near future.

I absolutely loved the Superhero Burger nice crisp bacon and succulent meat cooked to perfection and nice fries all in all I enjoyed it very nice food indeed and my mum and fran's meals were also brilliant certainly worth coming and checking it out for yourself and not expensive either all I'd say if your looking for a beef Or chicken dinner as in a carvery it's not the place for carverys, it's like burgers and other types of meals but I don't believe they don't do carvery meals or anything like that, but like I said come check it out for yourself. I was tasked with planning mine and my colleagues’ belated Christmas do and meal out and had heard mixed reviews for Bolero Lounge. What won me over at first with Bolero Lounge was that their menu looked really good. It offered a wide choice of delicious sounding dishes that would appeal to my large party size of 29. Secondly, the quirky and artistic decor as well as the relaxed ambience inside Bolero Lounge were bonuses too. Assistant Manager, Stacie, was really helpful and accommodating from the very beginning of the booking process and I can’t thank her (and the rest of the staff) enough for being so patient with dealing with myself and my colleague’s delayed preorder menu requests. They pulled it off spectacularly with less than 2 day’s notice in terms of what 24 out of 29 people in my group wanted to preorder. With such short notice as well as some unexpected additional order requests; the customer service and quality of food was not at all compromised! As well as serving my party of 29 people, the other half of Bolero Lounge was nearly full of other guests too. Upon reflection, it is amazing to think how well Bolero Lounge performed on such a busy Sunday evening. I’m utterly grateful to Bolero Lounge for providing myself and my colleagues with extremely delicious food and being so friendly and hospitable. My colleagues had nothing but nice things to say about Bolero Lounge and for many of them, they hadn’t been here before so it really left them with a brilliant first impression and would without a doubt, visit Bolero Lounge again! Thank you to the team (Dylan, Lilly, Luke, Mike and the chefs) working on the night of the meal, you all did such an amazing job with hosting our meal. And special thanks to Luke for being so friendly and putting me at ease so I could step away from being the ‘party planner’ and just enjoy my evening like the rest of my colleagues.
