I rarely go to this fish and chips, but love it when I do. If they decide to accept card instead of just cash I'll never go anywhere else.

This is the second time we've used this place and it was just as good as the first time. It's near my parents so very convenient for a take away lunch. The fish is perfectly cooked with crisp batter and the chips are lovely. Very friendly and family owned and somewhere I'd recommend without hesitation.

Far exceeded expectations, food was incredibly good - chips were a great texture, crispy outside and soft inside, perfectly salted with vinegar, and prepared fresh on order. Fish was also fantastic, good batter. Good value for money, friendly staff, will definitely be back!

I'd heard that the new Fish Bar was good so took it upon myself to see what was on offer. Simply fab! Lovely light crispy batter, crunchy chips with lovely fluffy potatoe. Not cheap but worth every penny. A visit to Bruce's Fish Bar is highly recommended.

Fresh, tasty fish, crispy batter, lovely chunky and crispy chips,not soggy at all as in another very popular fish bar, staff very friendly, large portions. Highly recommended, new spot on the list. A nice coleslaw in extras would be cool, apart from that - no cons at all !!! Yummy 👌

Just opened by me, therefore as a fish & chips fan, thought I'd give it a try. Bought standard haddock & chips, it was beautiful. Crispy batter on the haddock, quite big and chips fluffy inside and crispy outside. Definitely will buy from there again.

I'm new to the area and have finally found the best. The batter is just right, soft and fluffy and doesn't taste like 5 week old grease. The chips are perfect too.
