Such a lovely place. Cosy, friendly! I wish we could stay more, but some guys came in and and spoke so loudly that 10 minutes later we wanted to leave. The lasagne and pizza were delicious and hot. Tomorrow I am going back to check the desserts. So much better than the other Italian restaurant. A place with such a good spirit!

Struggled to find a nice restaurant in the area and was really pleasantly surprised to find this place. Nice to find dishes like Saltimbocca maiale rather than than just pizza and pasta. Prices are slightly higher for some items but if you’re looking for cheaper options they do have some also. Also pleasant staff which always helps :)

Really enjoyed are lunch. We sat in the high stone walled garden, with the sun shining . The staff are polite and attentive the food was good, the Peroni beer cold and with a little imagination, you could have been in Italy

Enjoyed a fabulous meal here tonight. I had a salmon dish which was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was warm and comfortable. Although the restaurant was busy, my meal for 2 with a friend still felt personal and special. I can highly recommend this restaurant for both romantic meals and larger family gatherings.

First off this is an Italian restaurant for British tastes. Expect cream in your Carbonara, non rustic breads and white cheese pizzas. Nevertheless everything was delicious… particularly the meatball starter dish. The decor is modern, yet cosy and the dark ceilings give a great ambience to the restaurant. The staff aren’t particularly chatty, but are very efficient and coped well with what was a busy Saturday night. Price wise it was reasonable and the portion sizes were generous. I would visit again.

Nice place , good service my partner had the Carbonara Spaghetti which she enjoyed I had the fish stew which was a main course and classified as a lighter main course This is fine and it was nice , but the portion was especially light of sea bass and mainly built up with prawns and bread The nature of the meal is light so I would expect more of everything to make a main course , as without the bread it would probably be a starter

Lovely setting and meals were around average priced about £1 too much. But service, staff and setting count for an overall above average experience.

Pretty good. Not super traditional if you're used to real italian pizzas. The bases could definitely be thinner and lighter. Oh, also they forgot to include chicken in my risotto that I paid extra for. No big deal but jeez.

Lovely restaurant and staff, shame food is not of the same standard. This was my second visit just to give Casa the benefit of the doubt from a previous experience but sorry its a no from me, just lack of effort in some pretty basic italian dishes. (I worked for Italians for years and spent a lot of time in italy). Sorry Casa as I say beautiful restaurant, shame about the Chef!

A lovely venue, comfortable seating and a big outside seating area. The service was efficient, but not over friendly. My starter (antipasto) was tasty, and the main, seafood linguini, was loaded with king prawns. I finished with a banana waffle dish which was fine. I thought the food and wine prices were a little on the high side, but the ambience and tasty food go some way to soften the blow. I will certainly visit again!

Mixed emotions. Our first family visit was great, the sea bass and rosemary potatoes excellent and the children loved their huge pizzas. On our return it was like a different restaurant. The food was inconsistent. The service was unfriendly, unwelcoming, slow to take drinks orders, and paid no attention to us even when we left and thanked them they ignored us, despite the fact it was very quiet. I expect much better. Will we return? 50/50. The food was good, but the service wasn’t.

An amazing place to eat in Thornbury. One of my favourite places to eat when I visit my folks in the town. Wonderful staff, great selection of food...though adding a couple of gluten free dishes would be a bonus, great drinks too. Highly recommended.

I enjoy my time here, friendly staff and the pizza was really nice, sadly due to a gas problem on the night - the menu was limited but what I did have was top notch! My only grumble was service was a little too slow... But I was tucked away in the corner but I did feel missed and forgotten about. Would defo return!

Every time we are in the UK and Ireland, we find some amazing food! This was no exception! We were going to go somewhere else, but decided on this place instead...turned out to be a little more "upscale" in feel that we were ready for, but either way it worked out! I got the Bolognese pasta..and let me tell you...THE BEST SAUCE I have EVER had, anywhere! The food was fantastic and the drinks were spot on. I hope to find our way back to this place, someday....nicely done!

Great food and good staff. But beware a service charge added for a party of 5, first item on the bill, labelled Misc! Had to ask what it was. If I hadn't paid attention I would have double tipped. Maybe it said on the menu that they would go that - I didn't see it. Otherwise they would have got 4 or even 5 stars.

Not to be confused with similarly named Dursley place. This restaurant is great, I even crave their food when away in London. I have never had reason to complain. My only concern is the waitresses understanding of English, and having to check with co-worker on most questions, and confusion when she didn't understand that sprite and Italian limonada are NOT the same.

Under new management since its days as La Piazza and equally good. Some staff are the same as before. Easy free evening parking nearby. Pizzas are big and excellent. Quite spacious and a bit more special than nearby chain rivals.

My wife and I dined there lunchtime on Monday 12th Feb 2018. Nice welcome. Good menu range. I hade pizza, and my wife had a rice-based meal. Lovely food! Tasty! Rich blend of flavours. Cooked well, served well. Generous proportions.Good value! Customer service: Helpful, considerate, friendly yet quietly/discretely respectful. Great service! And the Italian background music from the 60's added to the authentic atmosphere. We would highly recommend this delightful Italian restaurant.
