We stopped in portishead on holiday. After checking reviews, we decided to drive down and order some food. All I can say is WOW. The food was delicious. I had a kebab, the tandoori chicken chargrilled with a nann bread, my partner had a burger with cheesy chips. Expecting a normal sized nann like in our Lincolnshire kebab shops, nope, this was a large nan filled with gorgoeus chicken complete with a bed of peppers and onions. I was well impressed. A colleague who served me was very friendly, chatted to me about our holiday and his customer service was superb. Could not ask for better. He recommended which dips to have and gave me a free one to try qith my kebab. He put peri peri spice on my chips to try and they were really nice. Thank you so much. Well recommended. One of the best kebabs I've ever eaten! Staying in the area for the weekend, ordered a delivery, i had the mixed doner meat and chips, my partner had the peri peri wrap. It turned up in half the time stated, and without a doubt it was one of the tastiest kebabs I've ever had, and I've tried a lot of kebabs all over the uk, very good portions too. Will be trying the Indian food tomorrow night. Very very nice 👍👍

Enjoyed the food. Price good too. Rice portions are huge. Many things on offer aside from Indian cuisine. Great for a massive meat blowout, healthy options not so much. None of the staff I saw was wearing a mask. All exempt? Hmmm . . .

It's all homemade & YOU CAN TASTE IT! Haven't had a kebab this good🤔over a decade! The pitta is homemade NOT STORE BOUGHT! Everything was piping hot when it arrived, EVEN THOUGH it took 10-15m to get cup with ice/cutlery/napkins & take few pics! The lemon wedge in kebab shows, THEY KNOW THEIR CUSTOMERS & make each dish with care & take their customers needs/wants seriously. My saag daal tastes phenomenal & I have plenty of everything leftover. I WILL BE THEIR CUSTOMER FOR LIFE🤪! I can say much more, just NOT without getting more of my saucy fingers all over mobile! It's....I AM SPEECHLESS! It's ALL AMAZING. My taste buds are having a BLAST!

Flavoursome fresh kebabs packed with taste, good-quality soft and cushy pitta bread, and a good value for money. If lingering in Avon Way, I would recommend swinging by this place by a killer meal. I cannot fault the food.

Always pleasant service and have always met our dietary needs due to Coeliac. I have always collect and so cannot make comment regarding long wait times. The food has been consistent and tasty. Pretty much a regular now. The new menu and recipes show they're not afraid of change and keen to grow!

Fantastic place, eaten from here many times. Asked if they have a fal, which they don't, however they went out of their way to make a hotter vindaloo. This created the hottest vindaloo I have ever had. Absolutely fantastic can't recommend them enough

We are regular takeaway eaters and have been to all of the curry takeaway providers in town over many years. Recently, since the quality of Masala has improved while others in town have got worse, then I would say this is the bast in town at the moment. We had a selection of curries - Lamb Passanda; Chicken Chat Masala and Masala Fish Sag Gosht - along with Naan, Chapatis and Pappadums on a Saturday night by delivery. It cost £30 and we were told it would take an hour. 30 minutes later it arrived. It was hot, the portions were a good size, not swimming in oil or too salty, very tasty. Even the chapatis were nice and not too doughy. Overall a very good meal indeed and great value - we will be going here now as long as the quality stays high.

Consistently exceptional. Every time I have the privilege to enjoy a meal from masala 20 I've found it hard to describe the experience and write a decent review. Purely for the fact that there is no words within the English language good enough to comprehend. So until that time all I can say is... the moment my chicken cylon (highly recommended) touches my lips it's like a party in my mouth and everyone is invited. I'm a married man with children so anyone in the same position will know that this brings you moments that will always make your heart melt. The time you watched your one and only walking up the aisle. Watching your children being born. Your babies first step. I'm gunna say it. My curry topped all of that! So ignore the bad reviews you may have read from people that clearly have no taste. Probably vegans. Order your meal and try and tell me different.

Probably the best Indian takeaway in Portishead. I have been using this place since it opened. My only gripe is they stopped putting potatoe in the vindaloo. Still you do get more chicken lol. Give them a try.
