We were a group of seven , it was my daughters birthday and we had such a lovely evening . The food was amazing, it looked good and tasted even better. The young waitress that served our table was fantastic, she was friendly, attentive and looked smart . The restaurant had a fantastic atmosphere, it was clean and clearly well run. All in all a very pleasant experience.

Really enjoyable lunch, great value and choice and all safety precautions impeccably adhered to. Nice to have the option of a lunchtime set menu as well as the standard menu. All food nicely cooked and presented, with the vegan spag bol a standout. Staff were excellent.

Our experience was okay at Prezzo Thornbury. We ordered a Pepsi, cocktail, Spaghetti and burger. The drinks came out very late, with the server coming up to us twice to tell us they were on there way. We would expect a delay if the restaurant was busy, however it was fairly quiet. The cocktail came out in a basic glass, considering it was £10 I felt it should have been presented better whereas this looked rushed. The Spaghetti was rather greasy and the chicken in the burger was very tough in places which made it very chewy. Staff however were very polite and tentative. Just a shame the quality of the food and drink came out below average. I wouldn't recommend Prezzo Thornbury.

Great tasty food, recommend grilled salmon and posh pizza. I have to mention that service was not up to standards. First we were seated at the back, dark corner, even if the restaurant was not busy. Then we ordered starter which we haven't received. When we wanted to pay no one was looking and we had to wait with empty glasses on the table for someone to actually come and ask for the bill. Wasn't busy at all so really makes me think the staff wasn't keen to do their job today. It's a shame since food is really delicious 😐

Stepped in for late lunch. Place is fairly occupied for a Tues afternoon. We had two course set lunch with drinks. Pinot Grigio Rose is so so. We thoroughly enjoyed the pizza, and flat bread with Italian hummus. Spaghetti Meatball Al Forno was a tad overcooked. All in all, it is a decent joint that we will visit again given the opportunity

After I did not get a table at Goodman I walked around in Mayfair and then decided to go for some Italian food at Prezzo. It's a neat restaurant, with pleasing background music and nice service. I was one of the last guests and got my wine, my pizza and later my dessert quite quickly. The pizza was really good, the profiteroles as dessert as well. The wine could have been better, but it was okay. I only wondered, that I did not get a napkin with the dessert, after they took away my napkin I got with the pizza. But anyway, it's a delicious and for this area actually quite cheap option!

I came to this restaurant for the first time on Christmas eve 2015 with a friend of mine. At the time I came average review rate was 4.3 and I had good expectations. We both had a good time, spent almost two hours at the restaurant and enjoyed it. We had a bruschetta as a starter that was pretty disappointing. The bread was something similar to pitta bread which is absolutely not what we use to make the traditional bruschetta, topped with cherry tomatoes. I had penne with mushrooms and asparagus which was pretty good, but nothing special as well. The pizza that my friend had was pretty good. Very average overall.

Free parking on a sunday if you get to the area early. Any other times during the week is £4.90 an hour to a max of 4 hours. Cheers everyone.

Just had a really nice meal here - much better than I expected from a chain. Sharing sized garlic pizza bread to start would easily be enough for 3-4 people. Lovely and doughy! Carbonara with extra chicken was delicious. Fries were nice and crispy and cocktails also good. Freindly efficient service. Prebooked but surprisingly not very busy for a Friday night. Guess it's still early days...

Service has greatly improved here since we last came! Food and drink arrived quickly despite us being a large group and it being a busy evening. Calamari was delicious, the pizzas were great too. The only disappointment for me was the brownie dome which wasn't what I expected and the brownie was cold and quite hard. However, we had a good voucher offer to use and you can also use tesco vouchers which makes it worthwhile.

Excellent Service and Good Food To summarise for those who only read the first few lines of a review: You will never get a bad meal here, nor an excellent one. The food was "good". Nothing fancy or special - just good food. This was a birthday party for my adult daughter. A party of 8. We had downloaded vouchers for 50% of drinks, but as there wasn't any signal we couldn't use them. I had a pizza of steak and rocket. I didn't realise that the steak on the pizza would be served cold. So, although it was very tasty, it was a little unusual to eat. Others in the party had the standard fare of a chain Italian such as pasta in various sauces which, again, was described as "good". The decor in the restaurant is bright and airy. Pleasant surroundings. The staff were excellent and the service superb. Especially when my daughters birthday cake arrived all presented as if it were a dessert we had paid for.

High Street is semi pedestrianised so best access to this car park is to drive past Rock Dt car park with ALDI in your left and then turn left into the other end of the High St and then right into Castle Court. The car park is at the end of this road.

Took the family early on a Saturday evening. Glad we booked as there was soon a queue at the door. Service was super, kids had pizza which went down well. My partner said the burger was very tasty and my chicken with mushrooms and spinach was tender with delicious side salad. Kids had chocolate fudge cake which was moist and chocolatey. Used our Tesco vouchers - the drinks added up, but enjoyed it and would recommend. Would give 5 stars if there was a bigger selection of desserts!!!

Been twice now, decided to give it a second chance. The first time we went we had discussed voucher options and decided the kids eating for a pound was the better of the two, when our bill arrived it hadn't been used so i asked for the deal to be used, the waiter said he couldn't undo the inital bill and that i should have stated it when asking for the bill. We were both too tired to kick off about it but i felt totally ripped off. My carbonara meal was very very average and my husbands was too, today i gave it a second chance but felt the staff weren't very welcoming, my meal was nice to be fair and the kids had pizza which i thought looked very dry. I definitely won't be rushing back....in Thornbury there is a nicer italian with lovely staff, independent run business who i would rather support....shame as its nice premises.

Better than Bella Italia! We normally go to Ben's Italia in Gloucester Quays but chose here instead and it is now our firm favourite. (Of course Bella Italia is near the cinema whereas this is in completely the other direction based, as we are, midway between the two - so no good for cinema going) It was warmer and more welcoming and the food was probably better. The menu certainly suited our children who are fussy - the staff accommodated their food requests perfectly and with grace. We used Tesco vouchers to make it better value for money (as the prices might have been more expensive - I can't really remember) but it certainly had a more expensive feel which meant we had a better experience. Parking in Thornburg town car park was free after 7pm I think. Drinks were on our during happy hour - but not all drinks only selected drinks, my wife got caught out by this. There were 3 desserts I loved the sound of so having tried the cheesecake, which had a good 4/5 score, I will be returning to try the other 2.

Booked a table for 3 for lunch. Only 1 waiter but he was super efficient and we didn’t have to wait for our drinks or food. The cesar salad was not good, very dry overcooked chicken fillet (definitely not a breast, they must have cut each breast into 3) poached not soft boiled egg and very dry hard garlic bread. I ate it because I was starving and it was very expensive for what it was. The rich chocolate cake I had for dessert was bland, and the strange mascarpone cheese which came in a miniature blob was granular and tasteless. So food was not good but service was excellent. Won’t be going back.
