C. S.A modern-ish estate pub on the Cask Marque Ale Trail. Quite spacious inside with plenty of parking.
The ale Tribute (St Austell brewery- 4.2%abv) was in excellent condition and were it not for a long-ish drive afterwards, the temptation to prove 'quae in tribus est perfectum' would have been strong.
Park of the Sizzling Pubs chain, there are more than a few interesting items on the menu. For a light bite, the breaded boneless chicken and Beer Battered Salt&Pepper Mushrooms were superb.
A pleasant visit.
J. E.Got to pub dead on twelve, but staff were slow to get organised behind the bar. Some of our menu choices were not found on the till causing further delay. Then girl serving us couldn't put my gift card through the till and another male member of staff was called to assist. Quite a queue behind us and only one member of staff serving! We finally placed our order and sat down with drinks by 12.20. The pub appeared clean and tables well spaced out. The food arrived promptly and was good value for the price. But the two adult meals arrived first, meaning my 3 yr old grand daughter had to wait for her's to arrive! I never understand why establishments don't serve the children first? Toddlers always need time to let their meals cool a bit before eating! (as they nearly always choose chips that are naturally freshly fried and very hot!) Then parents and adults can dine with more ease! Adult puddings were adequate, but I'd probably not bother if l visited again. However, l was impressed with the children's build a sundae! It's a good budget meal and l would revisit and hope the service a little quicker next time if hungry children in tow!

K. T.6 of us come for a Birthday meal on 10th December I changed my table size to bigger last minute and the male manager couldn't help us fast enough to upgrade our table. I can't believe how fast the food was served and all 6 of us loved every meal, they was hot and yummy. The staff rush around and work very hard including the manager the whole 3 hours we was there. I can really appreciate this as I know how hard waiting on tables can be especially at busy peak times. We felt safe and clean and comfortable. The female waitress working this night was superb she couldn't help you enough and was very friendly you know who you are 😊

A. J.Amazing meal, friendly staff and top service. I originally could not book here for my Bday Saturday night but the owner worked his magic and provided we pre ordered got us in. After arriving we could see why large tables were not possible, the place was packed, our meals arrived on time and hot, the owner popped in alot to check on us and kept us all laugjing. Defo going back to this place, a hidden gem!

K. S.My Partner and I have been here a few times for an evening meal, it's warm and cosy, the food is tasty and the prices are great for the portion size. On this occasion we came for my Sister's Birthday meal, and when you have a toddler that doesn't understand cooking times, she was kept entertained with her kids meal toy and they cooked her food and bought it straight out. There wasn't a long wait for our meals, and the service was quick in-between meals. There was alot of choice on the desserts menu and excellent price for the portion size. A. B.I've been here a few times with family and it's been consistently good value. The food is basic but done well. My eldest daughter and I went recently for a quick early evening meal whilst my youngest daughter was at a local school event. We took advantage of the 2 meals for £10 offer. When I booked the table online I also signed up for the newsletter and got a £5 off voucher when you spend over £15. Gammon egg and chips, roasted veg lasagne, side salad, pint of Stella and a G&T for about £15 with the discounts! Bargain!

We used the sizzler app for ordering and were amazed at how quickly the order came out. Even in this area social distance was kept. When people left their table it was then thoughrily sanitised.

D. W.Poor show today - food order was sausage and mash plus old faithful burger. Today the staff were busy they had two large parties in. Our food seemed under par as to previous meals there. Mash tasted like it was out of a packet. Beef Burgers was burned on the outside and very very greasy. Chips that came with it were few and partially burned. We were very hungry but coundnt eat the whole meal. Left not long after getting the meal. Got more food elsewhere. Food was not great today but had brilliant previously. We’ll think again before visiting

M.I visited the pub on a few occasions and all the staff were wonderful happy and friendly and nothing is too much trouble, even when we needed to check on a allergy the staff were so helpful and even the head chef came out to help us ,the food was excellent and very hot the timing of the food to our table was only 15 minutes that is excellent as everywhere else I go iam waiting a good 30 mins to 45mins so well done guys at the brimsham I shall be returning.

V. H.First time visiting today was very impressed. There wasnt waitress service so we found a table ordered our food and drinks at the bar we were told the wait for food would be a hour but it came out 15mins later. Food price are very cheap but the food was of high quality and quantity. Will return with our children soon.

A. E.OK pub food chain. Can be slow service at busy times. The steaks are of poor quality (very grisly) served on a bed of onions, with half a tomato and small chips on side. Table was cleaned for us, however the carpet floor had loads of food debris over it. My order of mac cheese was fine.

Highly recommend, tables were set out ready, cannot fault the service we received and the friendliness of all the staff. The food was brilliant, the unfinishable breakfast beat all the men! V. A.Fairly standard pub food. Burgers, classic pub dishes, curry etc. Only a few vegetarian options but were good. Plenty of seating available and areas where you can be quite private. Large parking area and good outside space for when it is warmer.

B. H.We used to come here for the quiz quite often but then COVID struck, we were a little nervous coming back to a pub after the lockdown but Wayne was fantastic at making us feel welcomed especially since the new former manager left.
He went above and beyond in making us aware of COVID guideline, along with recommendations of great additions to meals! A real credit to the role he has and never a dull moment when he is around! Fantastic fun and would recommend this pub to anyone
