K. S.Enjoyed a carvery with two friends and my husband. The portions were large, food was very tasty. The only let down was the service, they forgot our drinks and when we finished we spent ages trying to catch someone's eye to pay, but ended up getting up and standing at the counter. It's cute, small and feels good to support local 👌.
T.Lovely scone and tea, staff were lovely and accommodating, even though I'd come in very close to closing time. I took a seat opposite a friendly cat and was watched by some suspicious looking hens. What more could you ask for?
S. R.Of the six items ordered, three were correct.
Even if you don't have allergies simply removing an ingredient rather than making fresh is my expectation, given the fluid nature of the inside of a tomato you cannot JUST pick it off, I guess I'll have to go home and make my own sandwich.
If you lack the skills to make a flat white, just remove it from the menu and leave a latte on there, the two are not interchangeable.
The smoke from the smokers immediately outside carried indoors and spoiled the end of our little break (fortunately they only started as we were finishing).
Despite the inaccuracies in the order most of the staff were friendly and attentive.

A. S.My family recently booked this venue for a surprise birthday party for me and what a wonderful time we all had.
Venue is in a beautiful location and my grandchildren had great fun interacting with the animals (as did the grown ups). Food was fabulous and plentiful and staff were lovely and attentive.
I look forward to returning soon.
M. S.Fantastic carvery!, heard good reviews so I thought I would try and I wasn’t disappointed. There is a main dining area and a conservatory on the side.They do a standard carvery or a mega on a rectangle plate. Choice of 3 meats and good selection of veg and cauli cheese.Thatchers on tap.
K. K.We have been to this restaurant a few times, the food is great but the system doesn’t work. You ring to book to be told you don’t need to, then you turn up and it’s full and you have to wait. The waitress asks what you want to eat and drink …

S. A.First time back in almost 2yrs,
not able to help yourself at the minute to carvery but the young girl serving was generous and plated the food to good presentation. Nìce selection of seasonal veg. Waiting staff were friendly and efficient we didnt have to wait ages for our drinks. Meal & drinks reasonably priced.
Only negative is the table right by the toilet entrance was able to move tables no bother at all so all was good.
Worth a visit if you like Carvery 👍
