Reviews of The Olive Shed
S. A.
Great place although the portions are a bit small. Amazing food quality and super kind service (especially the French girl but also another French guy and an English guy with blonde hair).
We ordered: a croquette, sea bass with beetroot and crispy onion, duck with parsnip and vanilla (no drinks, just tal water).
We paid £27.85.

I visited the Olive Shed on a warm mid-March evening. I was just in Bristol for one night and don't know the city so was just wandering aimlessly. The dock area has a great vibe, with people casually hanging out and the Olive Shed is right in the middle.
I was seated outside, no problem with solo me taking up space. I ordered the calamari which was amongst the best I've had, patstas bravas which was made by someone who knows where the paprika jar is kept and a divine piece of slow cooked lamb with yougurt and pomegranate seeds.
Lovely meal, great location and fabulous staff.
Very highly recommended.

Best tapas in Bristol! My first visit to the Olive Shed and I’m sad I haven’t gone sooner! The tapas dishes are so tasty. Just got back from a vaca in Spain and I have to say, these tapas are better than some of the finest places I went to in Spain! The duck, grilled fennel, steak, patatas bravas & quinoa salad were my favorites! And I’m really glad they have many vegan options (including dessert)
Lastly, the staff are so friendly & attentive. They made the experience outstanding!
I would highly recommend the olive shed and I can’t wait to visit again!

Lovely riverside restaurant. It was early Saturday evening and we managed to get a table outside. The staff were lovely but unfortunately the service was very slow. The food was taking so long we decided to cancel our order. I am not sure if they had a staff shortage. They asked if we wanted bread and olives instead, which I assumed was to apologise for not having our food. However this was on our bill at the end of the evening, we I questioned it the amount was then removed. From looking the plates seemed on the small side considering the prices.
In all though, I would like to give this restaurant another go as the location and staff were all lovely, think we just got them on a busy night :)

Fabulous dock side Tapas restaurant, with a busy vibe. There were 7 of us on a business meal and my heart sank a little when a table of 17 came in too. Needn't have worried the waitress (sorry forgotten your name) was fabulous. As we dithered about what & how much to order she gave us excellent advice and the meal was delicious (short rib, anchovies, pork, big olives all stood out for me). Vegetarian options were lovely too (parsnip & pulses - who knew I liked that). It's a busy, fun way to eat, the food and drink came promptly (despite being so busy) and the location, whilst a little off the beaten track is lovely. Thanks for a great evening.

A mixed experience. The calamari were the best we've had outside Spain. The description we had for tonight was "fast & furious". Wonderful, attentive service - but the dishes arrived on top of each other, with no time to savour them - which was such a pity.
Warm the bread and please serve the balsamic and olive oil at room temperature.
Great service. Wonderful atmosphere.

A first visit to this establishment to eat anyway, and very impressed we were too. A little explanation from our very friendly waitress 'Corin' about the portion sizes to expect etc was useful knowledge. Each of the half dozen or so tapas dishes were very tasty, my vote was for the calamari best dish. I had the steak and gambas also which was very good. All washed down with a good bottle of Rioja (red). Certainly hoping to return at some point.

Great location .. furniture a bit basic as in no cushions, but great tapas .. did feel the meat platter at £18:95 was overpriced. However the food is good and same about the service and as they add on 12.5% .. next time I'll take that off the bill and top accordingly, but it worth a try.
M. P.
Booked a table for lunch with my family. Sat outside. Very busy. Ordered a selection of tapas which we shared between us. Staff were very attentive, smiling and helpful. We enjoyed ourselves and the food. Would recommend it, but best to book.

What an incredible experience! From the moment we arrived, everything was spot on. The service was a 12/10, our waiters Hugo, Maria and Lea knew absolutely everything about the menu and provided recommendations which we took up, and didn’t regret at all! The chefs Vinny, charlie and jack were some of the best I’ve ever come across, with every dish exceeding expectations. The Calamari and Gambas was some of the best I’ve had. The ambiance of a Mediterranean setting was so cosy and comfortable. This is one of the best restaurants in Bristol and I’ll be returning soon to try the rest of their unique and exciting menu! Thank you Olive shed!

Wonderful food and lovely place to sit on a warm evening by the harbour side.
Only thing that stopped full stars was the service when we went, which sadly put a downer on the overall experience. It's a shame when front of house let's down the kitchen of a place.
It was very slow and basically ignored us for ages after they sat us down and before anyone bought a menu, which took about 15 minutes, then another age to order our drinks for us. Finally, both of us got a fed up with being told by two staff members they would be right with us to let us order our food. We watched them once again just forget we even existed as they continued to go off and deal with new customers and the other tables. Neither of them remembered to come back to us at all, so we sat there for over 25 minutes again waiting and starving hungry, before we gave up and just grabbed hold of a different member of staff who then took our food order.
I understand the staff were busy, but the feeling of being ignored and forgotten the whole way from start to end really let it down. I should homestly rate even less stars, but the food we finally ate was delicious, so it saved it in the end. The calamari was the best I've had in the UK so far!
I look forward to trying to this place again but hope the service isn't so awful next time.

On a beautiful sunny evening when restaurants were filling up fast, we found ourselves St the Olive Shed, after just a 20 minute wait outside of the outside seating area, with drinks paid for and a menu to peruse we made it to our table. The staff were friendly and genuinely helpful, our daughter and her wheelchair were amply accommodated and we ordered a selection of tapas from the menu. Great food, a good variety from fried calamari and huge chips with aoli oil, a veggie platter and some houmous and we were all filled to the brim. Local ales available and other locally sourced drinks. I would visit again, especially on a warm, sunny evening while sitting outside as it was idyllic.. Watching people stroll by and the boats on the water. Give it a try, it won't disappoint! 😁
E. S.
Great meal, everything we tasted was delicious.
Prices were reasonable. Service was slowish but it was rush hour on a Saturday night.
Don't skip the olive dessert 😋
Just wish wine menu was better.
S. C.
Wonderful experience! We were sitting upstairs with a table overlooking the Bristol harbourside on a lovely evening and were so accommodating to our request to open up the heavy French doors so we could feel the wind and sun on our skin and have the amazing view unimpeded. Small plate tapas were really lovely too, especially the calamari, bread, potato tortilla, chorizo and patatas with aioli. The only thing we weren't so keen on, was the' special' scallops with parsnip puree. Scallops very fresh but parsnip is too sweet a flavour with scallops, which needs something saltier, spicy or tart. A big thank you to the staff for being so friendly and good to us, despite being rushed off their feet.
M. T.
Excellent service m. Great food. Book a table by the window for a harbour view. Tapas portions are perfect. Highly recommend the Lamb and the Patatas Bravas with Chorizo yummy.
J. L.
A great location for a bar and restaurant. Quite a few tables although usually i order from the take out drinks area they have and sit by the waterfront. They do a good sangria too.
G. G.
Delicious tapas and great view of the harbour. Also very easy to get a place - you just walk in and take a seat - no booking necessary! The staff are always really lovely too.
J. H.
A tapas bar with wonderful, fresh food.
S. P.
A great evening with a group of friends. The feasting menu was extensive, tasty and good value. Very accommodating of my gluten free friends too :)
K. B. R.
Luckily managed to squeeze into a spot on a busy Saturday evening, I've wanted to try this place for a while so I was glad. The weather was perfect for the outdoor seating, though we sat upstairs with the windows wide open and a nice view. Quite a few vegan dishes, though there is a lot of animal products served. Tapas was medium sized, so it turned out very reasonably priced and we both left very full. Plus, the recommended wine went perfectly with my dishes.
J. M.
Visited for the first time yesterday after living away from Bristol for 10 years and The Olive Shed is still one of the best al fresco dining spots in Bristol.
Quality food and drinks in a relaxing but bustling spot on the quayside. The development of M Shed and Whapping Wharf has regenerated this area of the waterfront, it's family friendly and perfect for an evening stroll.
Set back from the water, the upstairs dining is intimate with great views, the terrace is perfect just for an aperitivo, tapas or full lunch/dinner menu.
Good value for money in my opinion, tapas dishes are around £7, mains range from £15-£30. They have an excellent selection of fish.
K. H.
Really good vegan options and staff went the extra mile to ensure we had a good meal - THANK YOU
J. S.
Lovely food, friendly staff and great location!
G. P.
Great location and food.
Prices are going up, but they are going up everywhere, so 5 deserved stars
t. s.
The food was absolutely incredible, some of the best tapas I've ever had including what I've tried in Spain! Would recommend and visit again.
j. K.
We fancied some tapas as a pay day treat, we were not disappointed. The waiting staff were lovely and super attentive to our 3 year old son who was pretty impatient. The food was glorious, would absolutely recommend the Hake - it was a total vibe! The veggie platter was enjoyable and the fennel chips delicious. we will be recommending to our air b&b guests.
J. K.
One of the best places I've been rustic with beautiful food Absobloodylutely to die for
T. P.
Great Tapas, wine and location. Staff were brilliant too!
C. D.
Yummy! Food was delicious and a bit different to the usual tapas you get in tapas places. My favourite was definitely the mussels cooked with chorizo and cider! Decent prices as well. Menu says 3/4 items per head but we had 4 in total with a basket of bread to share and that was plenty!
J. M.
One of the best meals we have ever had out. We had 7 tapas dishes between the two of us, and each one was so tasty and beautifully presented. The system they’ve got in place works so well, no one is kept waiting for long and drinks are available to have by the waterfront. The food wasn’t too long either and none of the staff seemed stressed or rushed. Such a happy and relaxing environment. Massive thanks to Hazel as well our lovely waitress. We will be back!
T. C.
Very nice view of the harbour side and has a nice rustic feel to the restaurant. Steak was a bit expensive but tasted great
R. S.
Everything we had was delicious. Friendly staff and a great spot to sit and enjoy a sunny lunch. Quite pricey, but everything was more than good enough to justify it. The hake was a particular stand-out dish. Outside seating was walk-in and booking for inside.
D. R.
Lovely location on the harbourside. Tapas style food with a Spanish leaning. Good range of drinks. Has suffered over the years on and off with changes of staff which have affected the quality of food and service but currently doing well.
S. K.
The tapas was incredible and the wine even more so, with fantastic views across the harbour. An old favourite of mine and it seems to get better with age!
M. M. a. o. c.
My favourite restaurant in Bristol. Fabulous location, great staff. One of the few places you can get a whole baked fish delivered daily from Cornwall...and also the last place to catch the evening sun and suck down an Estrella Galicia.
L. S.
Well we arrived and the service was decent. We paid £12.95 for seabass. Unfortunately the seabass lacked enough sea bass to qualify for a fillet of sea bass. Further to this, there was no substantial side to the dish so it felt overpriced. The food was delicious however, especially the gazpacho. %12.5 device charge should only qualify when a large order is made, not 3 mains and 1 tapas dish.
S. S.
Was very busy but food and service was excellent. Lovely tapas, would definitely go back.
S. K.
Got a walk in table for six outside at peak time. A tortilla like a piece of cake.. pluma iberica was recommended and was great. £30 a head with wine was not to be sniffed at. Service was excellent!
G. M.
Excellent! Came away with my hands smelling of king prawns, freshly cooked fish and lemon - could have been on the beach in Málaga or Barcelona!
The only thing that stopped me giving five stars was the pacing - king prawns in their shells and a whole sea bream need work and should have been served separately. A decent Rueda was a good option from a well thought out Mediterranean wine list.
Oh, and great views - recommended.
S. R.
Lamb tagine style dish was particularly amazing flavour. Some dishes not worth the money for portion size or quality. On the upside a great location, view and service v good
G. H.
The dishes were reasonable but lacked much interest - felt a little rushed as everything was served together.
J. P.
Me and my daughter ate here a fortnight ago, and I didn't feel I could write a good review as the service did not warrant the 12.5% service charge (see notes on Bristol Trip in TripAdvisor profile! Janeyp678). We decided to return for Fathers Day as my husband is a big steak fanatic, while my daughter and I prefer predominantly vegetarian dishes (such a good restaurant for a range of dietary requirements). The Olive Shed (once again) delivered with beautifully tasting and presented food, which everyone fully enjoyed. I especially recommend the vegetarian sharing platter which is great if you can't decide between all the delicious sounding veggie dishes. A special thank you to our lovely waitress, Corin. Although clearly being very busy she still took the time to make sure everyone was very well looked after and really made the trip feel really special, a perfect balance between delightful charm and professional demeanor. If you highly regard good quality service then be aware it may depend on which staff are working that day! But you can definitely be confident about the high quality food with a range of options, and the fabulous water-front location. :)
C. C.
Best tapas we've had outside of Spain and actually better than some in Spain. Very friendly staffand a great location overlooking the harbour. Make sure to book as its very popular.
B. K.
Quality food, amazing location, great selection of organic Spanish wines. You are missed during the lockdown Olive Shed! You can't really go wrong here with any of your choice. They work with an open kitchen so you can see the effort and cleanliness. Our first choice of place for a celebration.
M. W.
Staff was absolutely lovely, drinks were great and the atmosphere was lovely. However, the vegetarian options were very limited and when they arrived we were horrified to find that they were asda's own brand from a tin. Similarly the feta stuffed peppers were the sort you brought from a supermarket. Tasty, but definitely not worth the money we were charged.
A. B.
The service was ok. Altough we visited during EOTHO and they were probably exhausted at that time of the day. Tapas menu needs alot of work and so has the interior. It is a shame to see the same tapas dishes all over Bristol. Prawns could have been better cooked. The position is fantastic and has great potential
B. U.
Wonderful food, service and atmosphere. Would recommend and would return. Little pricey but worth it
D. J.
Very good food drink outlook and ambience
d. d.
What can I say, the place was busy, the food was sublime, we had a table for 4, which was lucky, it was a fine day and the canopy gave us some shelter. Cushions on seats would have been nice, but with the discount, Would not complain. Recommended.
D. P.
Always a nice outdoor spot when we have the weather.
Staff a great and always helpful.
Stand out dish is the Iberico bellota pluma with an amazing, though surprisingly sweet, manzanilla glaze.
S. S.
Delicious food, very good and accommodating service. The best tapas in Bristol and we had a lovely afternoon there. Thank you
R.
Very good food and drinks and the staff is friendly and nice. The location is great, with both outdoor and indoor seating with a view over the river.
L. I.
Went for a family meal here and overall I'd say we had a good time. Although I wouldn't go again by choice. The prawns we're soft and hard to peel as if frozen or overcooked. it was expensive for what you got in my opinion. But on the plus side it has a lovely cosy atmosphere and the staff were friendly. Excellent wine and sherry was certainly enjoyed.
J. H.
We stumbled upon the Olive Shed on our stroll throught the docks. We wanted fish and chips - being in the docks and all.
We ordered the fish&chips as takeaway as all the tables were taken at 5pm and our 5 and 3 year old boys would be super restless sitting at the table anyway.
We sat on the train tracks and waited about 15-20minutes - I was expecting much longer wait with the house full.
Was this a completely different dish than I expected? Yes! Was there a Mediterranean inspired salad garnish with it - yes! Was there deconstructed tartar sauce with it? Yes! Was the batter different? Yes! !
WAS THIS THE BEST FISH & CHIPS I HAVE EVER EATEN? YES YES YES!
The flavours! Textures! This is no greasy super stody experience - on the contrary - light, refreshing with amazing crunch from the salad and most tasty accompanying sauces.
Amazing setting, very attentive, friendly and caring staff, fantastic food.
Are we going back on our next trip to Bristol? Yes, yes, yes!
J. M.
I love going here for excellent & authentic tapas. It's great with friends or on a date night - the staff are always lovely & the atmosphere is cozy inside or you can sit outside by the water. Great harbour views too if you score a window seat upstairs. I've always been really pleased with the wine pairings suggested as well. I happily recommend this gem of restaurant!
G. R.
Nice place, great food and friendly staff 🙂
J. W.
Excellent tapas food. Staff young and friendly. I complained about one dish and this was dealt with very well. Highly recommended
H. M.
Fantastic service, amazing food. Great vegetarian options
T.
Great service. Delicious food.
H. H.
Nice tapas menu, good seating outside when the weather is good and friendly staff, baked artichoke and the mackerel dishes were delicious
E. J.
Very friendly and nice looking food but the flavours just were not that good or interesting in the end.
D. K.
Amazing food and even better service! They made my girlfriend's birthday feel very special. The table with the harbourside view was a very nice touch. Completely exceeded my expectations in every way. We will be going back very soon. Thank you Olive Shed!
J. F.
Very tasty food and accommodating staff. I would definitely go there again!
R. B.
First meal out after lockdown and what a treat!
Lucky enough to get a table as a walk in and enjoyed lots of lovely tapas dishes. Great staff and charming location.
D. L.
Lovely food and ale, great service.
D. M.
Lovely spot by the river for a take away beer or eat in for a nice tapas vibe. Lovely staff. Top draw
H. W.
Really great atmosphere, perfect for a sunny evening. Good food and great service. Would definitely visit again.
D. B.
Went to Olive shed for someone's birthday with 10 people. We split into smaller groups and bought a selection of tapas between 3/4 people. Staff were really nice and happy to split the bill at the end which is great and tedious for them. In our three we spent about 18-20 pound with a drink as well. Really beautiful view. Would go back.
D. S.
Very pleasant on an unusually warm October day. Good tapas and friendly service. Would certainly return here.
A. B.
I had some delicious vegan meals there
Y. S.
I always try and eat here when I am in Bristol. The food is great, the staff are lovely and the view is fabulous. The fish is always very fresh and perfectly cooked and there is a good choice of tapas.
a. o.
Fabulous place, great service great location with views of the river, amazing Tapas to die for. Thank you for making our celebration day even better.
X. L.
Lovely place. Food is amazing. Will definitely go back.
H. H.
Lovely food and great beer.
Service and staff were excellent.
Definitely worth a revisit
M. R.
Good but a bit pricey. Suggested number of tapas per head is probably over generous if you're sharing food. Dishes tasty and well cooked. Definitely "fusion" tapas.
C. S.
Great quirky place ideal for a date. The tapas style menu is a winner and the views create an awesome atmosphere. Also great staff with an actual personality not robots. (Booooo to robots)
S. G.
Oh it’s just lovely!!!!!
5 stars please!!!
Thsnk you
J. G.
Amazing food and very friends staff. Lovely location by the harbour. Thanks again!
A. L.
Really lovely food and great service, whilst eating outside. Great location on the dockside.
F. H.
Wow great find along the river bank. It does look line a converted shed but clean and serves fabulous tapas. 5 of us sat outside in the sunshine and enjoyed great food wine and laughter. Service was great and friendly
C.
A really pleasant place to eat. For two of us with wine and beer six tapas dishes all of which were delicious came to £57. Friendly staff as well as great views.
A.
Came here for drinks and snacks as a table of 4. The hummus bread and olives were all nice and drinks were good. The service was too slow though and we were sat around waiting to be served and a long time for drinks. We had to ask for the bill after not seeing the waitress for a while.
D. C.
Wow. Ate some kind of meat with a weird name and it blew my mind.
D. B.
Me and my partner went here to have a meal a few Sundays back. We had the sea food platter and mussels. The service and food where both exceptional had a fantastic experience all round will definitely be going there again. Special commendation to my man Luca (sorry if i spelt this or got this wrong) who waited on us this day he was great really made the meal even more special from his great chat and welcoming friendly personality.
K. s.
Absolutely love this little gem, located right beside the harbour, you can take a drink and watch the world go by or order food from a wonderful menu. Fish is always beautifully cooked and the Tapas highly recommended, along with great service what more could you want!
S. C.
I ordered the scallions and the sumac potatoes. The scallions were tasty but overpriced considering they were about the same price as the Chorizo. Vegetables are cheaper to produce than meat so why do restaurants charge as much or more for them? The potatoes were completely bland and I wouldn't recommend. The place was welcoming and the staff were great, I would simply recommend a review of the menu and fairer pricing.
J. N.
Really nice food (tapas) and great service, sat looking out at the water - couldn't fault it.
J. S.
Amazing food, one of the best tapas places in Bristol
D. B.
Service was friendly and it's got a nice view overlooking the river. The sharing platters were disappointing, £12 for a few slices of cheese and a dollop of chutney. Drinks were nice.
J. W.
Lovely tapas served by Spanish waiter.
Service a bit slow but quite a busy day.
J. H.
Great food and atmosphere. Only thing I could say is that it can get pretty noisy when they've got a big party. I'm happy to advise on some simple and effective acoustic solutions with this if you want me to as have solved similar problems in my current workplace.
G. D.
Lovely location and great food. Reasonably priced and so much better than similarly priced pub food. If you want the best bacon sandwiches go to the buttery, if you want great, fresh tapas go here.
I. B.
Great place for informal night out . Great food and generous portions . Very friendly staff which makes for a good night out .
W. F.
Delicious wholesome food and a great deli! The staff are really friendly.
If you get a window seat (or one outside on a warm day) then the harbour views can be stunning.
R. F.
Almost didn't visit based on previous lukewarm reviews. Really glad we took the risk. Warm welcome and great service throughout. Excellent tapas (lamb a highlight). Smoked prawns ok (all eaten! ) but alioli not to everyone's taste. Excellent desserts and great espresso. Very good indeed!
M. A.
Good variety of choice. Very pleasant staff and very delicious food. Definitely will go again 😃
M.
This place is great, nice and tucked away, really friendly service. We had the seafood platter and a couple of tapas dishes, all of which were great. Their hummus and flatbread is delicious! Recommend for an evening meal/date.
C. N.
On Saturday 18/11/17 with Mum and partner we had a wonderful evening at The Olive Shed! I called to book and made them aware of my many food intolerances and nothing was too much trouble, I was sent an email confirmation of the booking along with lots of suggestions of specially prepared dishes for me to choose which were delicious! I was treated like an honoured guest rather than a “fussy eater”. We promise to be back!! Thank you millions to all the team especially Jenna and the head chef. Outstanding!!! If I could give more than 5 stars I would ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
O. A.
Its a great location, and that's the problem. Food was not what I ordered, waiter didn't seem to care one way or another. Need to up their game.
W. P.
Great for a takeaway beer. The food looked great but there were no walk ins.
S. H.
Lovely if a bit on the pricey side, went for a quick bite in the evening and they were super quick and catered to our needs, sometimes you go somewhere and they take a long time to serve, etc but the staff here were great. View of the harbour side in Bristol from the other side made a nice change (m she'd side!).
P. D.
Nice drink choice and good tapas. Would recommend for anyone who wants some tapas. They are very good with their social distancing measures.
M. P.
Best view in Bristol, enthusiastic staff, great food, excellent value. A must visit.
B. W.
My partner and I first found this place in autumn two years ago. They didn't have any tables available inside so we sat outside - they provided us with blankets. It was so lovely! I had pheasant as I'd never tried it before and it was so tender and tasty. Their chef also liked to mix drinks so invented a hot cocktail for my partner which was brilliant. I swore to go back.
Sadly, upon returning, I wasn't so impressed. They've set up an ugly marquee next to it which spoils your view - such a shame as it's a really beautiful setting and a cute little building. Oh, there's also ample parking nearby (next to the SS Great Britain).
The food was just ok this time. I ordered steak but it came cooked very unevenly - medium one end and basically raw at the other. They also tell you it doesn't really come with anything so we ordered chips (not cheap) but in fact it came with a large sweet potato croquette and whole grilled tomato with pancetta wrapped around it. Very tasty but rendered the chips to be a little too much. The chips also came out well after our meal so we'd almost finished by the time they arrived. Not sure what happened there.
Two courses, one side and one round of cider for two people set me back £80. For that I really think they could do a lot better.
Oh and they also stick a 'discretionary' 10% onto the end of your bill. I always tip anyway but I found that extremely rude.
D. E.
Lovely food and in a great location.
H. B.
Been here a few times over the years, always have great quality food and unique menu. Friendly staff and great location.
M. F.
Great selection of food for vegetarians with attentive staff. Heirloom tomato salad with burrata is delicious!
D. S.
Great food. Great staff. Superb location. Thoroughly recommended!
C. R.
Bit expensive, but nice.
M. P.
Staff wearing face coverings, great to see. My preference is that the glass and or bottle be handled half way down and not at the top. Toilets weren't great
m. a.
Food is ok, a bit expensive. Patatas bravas were tasty, and the Parma ham was good. The stuffed vine leaves were lacking in flavour. Service was good, all the staff were very pleasant and helpful.
C. M.
Good food, reasonably priced, portion sizes of tapas were good. Service a little slow. Great views from upstairs.
J. K.
Always good. Loved the food and they made an effort for our non wheat, non egg, etc daughter in law. Friendly and accommodating staff. Highly recommend a visit
M. F.
One of my preferred places in Bristol. Good service, good food, and an attractive location--love the view over the river, and the short walk through the nearby industrial archaeology to get there. Vegetarians and meat-eaters alike will find something to satisfy. Reasonably priced too.
P. D.
Friendly staff but overpriced food and drink, small portion sizes too, a pity because it is in a great spot.
J. L.
Lovely sharing taster plates. And a great view!
P. H.
Very good food and friendly staff
Bit more pricey than I remember before pandemic still worth a visit
M. P.
Amazing location, with a great view and the service is absolutely impeccable. The selection of dishes is good, mostly Mediterranean, but I think I have had better food in other similar restaurants.
P.
We just popped in for a drink , day down enjoyed people watching and the chilled vibe. I couldn't help but notice the great quirky food with decent portions and think we might end up back there to eat

Always fantastic food with a great view!
T. S.
Solid, tasty tapas in a delightful suntrap with views over the harbour. A nice alternative to the shady dining options of Whapping Wharf. Relaxed atmosphere.
J. H.
Nice tapas-style food by the harbour, fairly limited selection of beer though (only Amstel on draft and a handful of bottles).
D. T.
Out for friends birthday. The food was delicious and the staff friendly. A great evening.
j. w.
Was here last tine 8 years ago and the place still delivers food, atmosphere and a fantastic location. One of my favourite places
B. P.
Beautiful tapas that isnt amazingly expensive. Go in the summer so you can sit outside and feel like you're on holiday. An absolute treat, with good service and an ever changing menu.
S. C.
Lovely place with nice views. Healthy and tasty food with lots of gluten free options. I totally recommend.
a. s.
Great for a summer evening meal on the harbour. Good food (Tapas) and friendly, attentive staff.
B. M.
The obvious first question is "do they serve the olive juice?" If youre question is this question you would be right but also you would make the olive juice yourself of course? Outside was a mixture of sitting chairs and tables for placing the food onto. If it is raining then be sure to be careful not to get wet! The food and drinks were delicious, but if you're looking to send a fax I recommend you look elsewhere as they have no fax machine facilities on site.
A. S.
Not the usual food and drink you will find at the other places nearby. They do some great sharing plates with a tapas theme. A great place to sit with a cold drink and watch the world go by.
J. G.
Fantastic menu, great service, lovely location. Quality ingredients served with culinary expertise. Delicious
C. W.
Nice food, but £13 for 3 scallops is a bit spicy!!!

Booked here for Father’s Day and it was such a lovely evening. The service was top - everyone was so lovely.
It does get quite loud when the top floor is full and just thought I’d note this in case anyone reading my review is hard of hearing. We used ear defenders on our baby as a just in case - we do this at any restaurant or pub that is loud.
The calamari was probably our favourite dish and the short rib and scallops.
f. L.
Just lovely food and amazing Staff. Would recommend.
L. J.
Went for a meal with my daughter, her partner, my granddaughter and grandson for father's day. We had Tapas, excellent very fresh produce, great service, brilliant. A bit heavy handed with the salt but still great, highly recommend
J. R.
Fun tapas bar on the docks.
J. P.
Where do I even begin….. the food was absolutely phenomenal, every bite got better and better as the food kept coming out, I was indulged with the most fresh and flavourful dishes that I could not put my cutlery down. The views from the seating area show just how beautiful Bristol harbourside is and it is definitely a place to visit with your friends. The service was 10/10, from the get go, I was greeted by a lovely young blonde gentleman who’s name I cannot remember, who gave us a warm welcome and trusting service skills so that we were able to have an amazing dinner. All in all, this place is 100% worth the trip as you will not be disappointed.
