K. B.Quite possibly the best chip shop I've ever been to! Their chips are great on their own but if you are fancying something more the chicken curry and chips is to die for. The chip shop has a small eat in area if you don't fancy take away, both are fantastic.

C.Been coming to Dorothy's for years always have the same, chicken curry cheese and chips. The curry sauce is world famous well Cardiff famous anyway, so fruity and flavoursome. The chips are spot on crunchy yet lovely and fluffy inside. If your in Cardiff no better fast food place.

Food arrived within the expected time and was still hot. All the food was very tasty, portion sizes generous and I really enjoyed the meal (I ordered a large battered sausage, chips and gravy). I would definitely order food from here again.
The only minor issue is that they forgot to deliver a portion of curry sauce, otherwise I would have given this 5 stars!

s. p.Not as good as it used to be. Go here once a month on a Friday for a Chicken curry off the bone and chips. Used to see familiar faces serving, Bit of banter with the servers. Last 3 times there have been a totally different set of people serving each time. Quality and flavour has dropped while price has gone up. Portion size is good. Sometimes I think I go here more out of habit and nostalgia than quality.

I used to use this place after a night out in the late 60's and early 70's and the food is still just as good and definitely value for money. Recommended the 'Chicken Curry off the bone with Chip's.

Since then we both obsess over them when we visit Wales and the very best place to buy them is here. They are in abundance and the best ever.

The Chicken Curry off the bone with chips is their trademark takeaway dish. Other chippys have tried but none have yet managed to come close to Dorothys signature dish. By the way, their Rissoles are amazingly good as well !!
