Typical Five Guys... Which is awesome!
Great food and always love the super clean open kitchen working like a well oiled machine.

Nice to finally have a decent burger place, Mcdonald is garbage compared to this place. Yes it's expensive but you get what you pay for.

The food is nice, but it's so overpriced. With the burger we also ordered the regular fries which came in a 300ml or so drink cup. No where near enough for the price they ask, which isn't far off a fiver!
In the USA Five guys is much cheaper, but I suppose in the UK they are pushing the boundaries on what people will pay, and they do pay.

It's the first day that Five Guys Newport Road has been open and as expected it drew in the crowds. It was very busy when I arrived however the place was clean with tables being cleared quickly as people left. There was a wait as I expected for the first day however I didn't wait more than 10 minutes to pay and receive my food. As always the food is great at Five Guys and always uses UK suppliers. It's Five stars for this new Five Guys. Its good to see a separate door for home deliveries here, this will help with keeping the main area less crowded. My only issue with Five Guys as a whole is its rather expensive and with McDonald's, KFC and and a well known local burger van all on Five Guys door step does make me think if these prices are too high for the area.

Haven't had a five guys burger since I was last in the USA. That said I went in quietly hesitant that this would be another British attempt to replicate an American staple (see taco bell) which fell short of the "brand name only" nature of most American diners here.
Needless to say I was not dissapointed. The burgers were fresh and huge,. They were cooked perfectly and tasted sublime. This was as good as their native counterparts in the US.
The service was stunning, just like America,. And the portions were massive and tasty.
The prices may be daunting at first but believe me the size alone justifies paying it. You get 10x as much burger as you do at McDonald's,. For not much more in price. The menu is simple.. small or big burger,. With or without bacon, and toppings are free. Fries, not al or Cajun,. And then a select either a soft drink or a stunning milkshake. Simple as that.
Well worth it. Will definitely be returning.
Note to peanut and nut allergy sufferers. All of their fried stuff is cooked in peanut oil,. So probably not the place for you

Knew it would be expensive from reputation and a distant memory from visiting other outlets, but £25 for 2 burgers and a regular fries (simply couldn't rationalise another £5 for fries) and no drinks. It may have been day one at the time but pretty average at best. For the price I'd expect something exceptional but unfortunately this is not it. Not a slight on the staff who seemed to be handling the crowd well but can't say I'll be back in hurry.

Good food but not somewhere I'd eat often. Burgers are small but you can add all the free toppings, fairly greasy and pretty expensive. TBH I'd save time and just go straight to Shake Shack in town.

Great to see five guys in cardiff we went to one off Oxford Street London before lockdown great food all fresh nothing frozen can't fault it, give them a try you won't go back to the muck d great staff and service was great.. down side for the people stuck in their cars no drive through so I expect the short walk to the counter will do you good

One of the best Five Guys I’ve had. The wait was a little longer than usual but well worth the wait for such freshly cooked food.

As usual the over priced burger was tasty, but I can't give 5 stars as its still a fast food burger trying to charge gastro pub prices! Any it doesn't compare to a decent gastro pub.

Excellent burgers. Unfortunately a bit too much salt on fries. I am not a fan of the red and white design. I find it cold.

Five guys is amazing because the staff are friendly and they have the lovely burgers and it has a lovely atmosphere to it and they create the burgers that you may want to eat

It is like a homemade McDonalds, we had never been and the person who served us recommended us our food, absolutely lovely, if you go make sure you get milkshake.

Very nice - and filling - but expensive.
... Beware of the spicey cajun fries/chips!

Great location for a Five Guys! Easy parking and food is as great as any other that I have been too.

Nice enough burger and fries but massively over priced in my opinion. Over £50 for 2 adults and 2 kids.

A lot worse than most five guys I have been too. Staff inexperienced. Didn't feel particularly welcome
