M. T. L.I spent over 4 years in Hong Kong 🇭🇰 and my wife is Cantonese so when she found this place we had high hopes. The food overall did not disappoint to bring back those familiar tastes and nostalgia. Still that being said you can see that the food was partially westernised. Still it was a lovely lunch meal, so much that we came back the next day.
e. c.dishes we had included the beef hor fun, mapo tofu, satay beef w vermicelli- all delicious. also had some peanut butter french toast as recommended by the waitress and it was great!! waitress was lovely and attentive and there was a nice ambience in the cafe- will be returning in the future.

After having this place hyped up to me for ages as “the best place for vegan Chinese food ever”, me and my boyfriend finally ordered.

- his vegetarian fried rice turned up with real pork
- my vegan fried noodles arrived with rice instead of noodles and egg
The chips we had as a side were pretty rubbery.. I’m sure if the orders weren’t messed up it would be better though, hence the three stars. Willing to give another try x we’re very hungry :((

K. L. S.Fantastic vegan-friendly Chinese Hong Kong place. They have a big vegan section on their menu as well as meat and vegetarian options, and we had a couple things off that and fried rice. The portion sizes were really substantial, and me and my partner eat a lot! The quality and range of food also couldn't be faulted and the people are very nice. I've had a takeaway and a dinein meal here and would be well up to go again.

Bought some takeaway today and amazingly the food was still very hot after about a 20-minute drive.
The roast pork in the pictures were marinated to perfection, very generous portions too! Their "mini" spring rolls were actually quite big and were absolutely delicious! It is quite apparent that the spring rolls were not bought from frozen because the vegetables inside were so fresh and finely cut.
I would definitely be a frequent customer as long as this cafe remains open and would highly recommend them to others too.

Unfortunately they were having some work done so we couldn't dine in, but we were so impressed by the menu that we decided to get takeaway and we were so glad we did! Everything we ordered was delicious, but the vegan Singapore fried rice was especially amazing! We are now considering moving to Cardiff, unless In Cafe would consider delivering to England? 🙏🙏🙏

L. N.Friendly staff and great food. Husband likes to still eat meat whilst I am vegan. We both had lots of options to choose from. The vegan chicken fried noodles were really nice (think chow mein chicken) but the real stars of the show were the vegan sweet and sour chicken balls. They were delicious and even my non vegan husband absolutely loved them. Will definitely be ordering again in the future. Only thing to consider is the street the restaurant is on is insanely busy around dinner time. Worth getting the food delivered instead or if living close enough walking in to take away.

Service: easy to order over the phone and collected 20 minutes later.
Value: pretty good value. About £8. There's cheaper around but not as tasty.
Taste: one of the best I've had. There's a couple of noodle places nearby that are fine, but this was a bit nicer. And a broader menu of Chinese food that I'm looking forward to trying.
Very impressed, and they seemed a really lovely group of people working there too. I'll be going back.

It's a little bit pricey but this is more than compensated by the quality of the ingredients used and the flavour of the food. Whether you have a classic full English breakfast or a dish from Hong Kong (yes, they're brilliant at both) you'll enjoy the simple, quality ingredients and generous portions at affordable prices. It was so nice, hot delicious food, lovely decorated and clean place and the lady was lovely and couldn't do enough for you. We all had different breakfasts - vegan breakfast, mini breakfast, set breakfast and noodle soup. Highly recommend you go there you won't be dissapointed!

There is so much variety and great food with decent-sized portions! And a 50% discount on a 2nd breakfast - makes it even better! Also, the unique and authentic chinese menu, is definitely worth trying.

C. F. L.From the outside, it looks just like an ordinary cafe.
I walked in and ordered a mega breakfast, and from its appearance, it just looks just the same as you would expect from any other cafe.
For a normal english breakfast being priced at £6.80 you would think its a bit expensive compared to an average cafe in cardiff.
The difference is that, the breakfast tasted stunning! To describe it as "delicious" is an understatement. It was simply awesome! The ingredients they use are of the highest quality. Gourmet bacon and sausages from local butchers; free range eggs; fresh mushrooms & tomatoes instead of canned ones; hash browns fried to perfection; generous portion of beans; even the toasts are served hot compared to some other cafes who might start toasting the breads before the customers walk in.
In summary, whilst this is not a budget cafe, after trying it out you would realise - it's a bargain! I will return to this cafe often as long as their quality remain if not improve to another level.
Waking up to such quality breakfast can easily make anyone's day. Highly recommended!
