Great restaurant as there is parking outside (limited to 3 hours) situated just off the a12 in a retail park. The staff were very polite and helpful plus who can go wrong with a “cheeky nandos” . Restaurant and toilet always clean and tidy.

Took my partner here at the weekend and I was a little worried about the restaurant being wheelchair friendly. I explained this on the phone and the lady who answered said not to worry and come down. We was greeted at the door with a big smile and the lady gave us a choice on where we would be most happy which just got everything started on great foot. Food was lovely! 10/10

Friendly staff, food as expected, no hot drinks but a choice of cold drinks as refills. Found some of the tables a bit too close together. Only one toilet, which also accommodates disabled, it was clean and stocked no problems. All in all ok experience.

As you'll probably know I'm a girl that loves her food..... Read my many reviews & this fact is clearly true! So here we are at Nandos Tollgate (it's not too far from the mega huge Sainsbury's) I've been here a number of times to collect food, I've never dined in (as yet). The restaurant is well thought out with the open kitchen one end as you enter & the bar is on the right hand side with the rest of the space given over to tables. It is quite big as it goes. The food is as ever very very good. I do highly recommend it. I always have the same things, Starter; Halloumi with sweet chilli dip Sunset burger with lemon Nandos garlic bread & fries on the side I share the food as it's too much for me on my own, whilst I love my food I don't have a huge appetite. Popped in earlier to have a cheeky Nando’s with the famalam. As always the service was efficient and speedy and friendly even though it was extremely busy. The food was superb and the chicken was to die for, I like mine xtra spicy 🌶 where as the rest had herb 🌿 and garlic 🧄 . You cannot go wrong visiting this restaurant at Tolgate.

I always enjoy a trip to Nandos. Hadn't been to this restaurant yet and the layout was lovely. I think they've put a great system in place to abide by the coronavirus measures. I ordered the chicken wrap with lettuce, I felt that the lettuce outweighed the chicken so it really took away from the flavour. Other than that, great customer service, food was lovely and staff were kind and helpful.

Clean and clear covid rules. Could not book a table online. On arrival we was asked to scan on to the covid barcode and was shown to our table. Service was quick and staff was very polite. I would defo use this Nandos again. I had the double chicken with the New garlic bbq sauce and the peri peri salted chips. I would highly recommend you give this a try when your next in Nandos

Open till late. Recently opened. More senior staff were excellent, younger ones wore the usual crocodile smile but did their job OK. Fresh fries was a nice surprise. Will be nice in the summer when they slide open out the massive glass frontage. Will be going back.

Ambience is just like what you'd expect from a Nando's outlet. Half of the staff were not that welcoming. I went on a weekend evening. The facial expressions of the staff was like - Sorry, I'm exhausted. But the manager (The one without uniform, I suppose!) was so nice and welcoming. Tried the new Smoky Churrasco flavour which comes under the Hot category. I liked it very much. Overall nice experience, will definitely recommend. Side note: You'll get a 20% NHS discount (need to show the ID card) capped at £4 max.

Everything you would expect from a Nandos, good food, efficient service and bottomless drinks. The restaurant is brand new, clean and like any other in the UK. I thought their new Phone ordering system is very good. Anything that avoids queuing at a till is a bonus, I always hated standing there clutching a menu and trying to remember four people's orders. The downside is a nasty outdoor area, but they have been given very little to work with by the parks developer. Tollgate in Stanway is pretty soleless, you have to visit the "food bit" for Nandos with its own carparks and bizarra tyre bursting non-exit. The outside area seating is a stip of tables squeezed behind a plant barrier, with cars driving immediately past it. I guess in the sterile world of bland corporate shopping centres, this qualifies as the Leasure area, but it's quite horrible. Other branches such as Freeport at least have a long pedestrian area with people walking outside rather than driving.

This is a really good Nandos. Food is served quickly with the usual Nandos quality. When things do go wrong, the staff are very helpful and understanding in fixing the issue. The grains and feta is actually quite nice!

Bit of a wait. Entry is slightly confusing as sometimes there are speed barriers with metal protrusions....so safely park before that. Inside nandos waiting time is inevitable as there are deliveroo and just eat and Uber eats as well. Staff are friendly and accommodating.

Standard Nando's fare - tasty food, nice decor etc. We ordered through the app for "ease" but it was a complete pain as you had to go through a whole account setup process and then couldn't even select the new flavour listed on the menu as there was no option for it in the app. We should have just ordered at the till like usual.

Ordered takeaway to collect tonight more than an hour and a half ahead of collection time. I arrive at designated collection time to be told my order isn't quite ready yet and to take a seat. I end up waiting 20 minutes for my pre ordered takeaway and on getting home I discover that one item is missing from the order! All in all, service requires improvement!

Quick service and the first time we've been to a nandos and the garlic bread was fresh not stale and the chicken was soft not dry! Just how it should be. Not one thing to complain about even with Covid changes. Staff were friendly and attentive. Very impressed.

Have been here a few times now, and it is so much better than the one in Colchester Town. We came for Sunday lunch. Food is piping hot, cooked well, tastes amazing. The children love it. It's clean with nice decor. Staff are prompt with seating and taking orders. The loos and overall restaurant are well attended by staff who are helpful and changing things when they run out... Sauces... Napkins.. cutlery... frozen yogurt... All these things make such a difference. I have been sick three times from the chicken at Colchester Town now... Almost like I've had a bug, and it took me some time to realise that it was every time I went to Nando's in Colchester Town. I haven't returned there and won't be. Tollgate is our new regular.

Love nandos.. But this in this day an age where all payments are through apps an contactless. In some places like nandos, table service has kind of gotten lost! Now cash payments are less a thing now, tips are not really left.. But if staff was just to go around just asking if people wanted a refill of the soft drinks,, would be more beneficial for staff to get more of a chance to get tips.... We got a check back on the table , but could of done abit more an gone that extra mile.. but food is faultless as all ways ..

Really good Nandos - busy, but they get you seated quickly and efficiently. Good service and very friendly staff, usual selection of spicy comestibles.
