S. T.This place is a real gem in Derby. It's "just" a burger place, you can only get burgers. But the burgers are phenomenal! I opted for the Hood Special and I wasn't disappointed. The whole thing is well presented and super tasty. The patty was very tasty and seasoned perfectly. The chicken was delicious too. The bretzel-style bun is an inspired decision. The fries are amazing too. To top it all the price half that of nearby Five Guys.
The staff are really friendly too. Totally recommended!

S. H.FINALLY! A DECENT BURGER JOINT IN DERBY!! probably the best in derby hence the 5 stars.
Chicken burger very crispy, buns are toasted nicely which is a nice touch, the cheesy beef burgers was beauuuts. Dont know if its an angus patty, it did look like a normal patty you get from other takeaway places however still worked nicely.
Nice seasoned chips, and service was great, didnt have to wait long.
Nice and clean, the tables were a little sticky however clean.
They have no toilets.
I definitely will be coming back to this place and looking forward to trying other things from the menu. 😊

Visited on a two-day trip to Derby and found this after tiring five days in Midlands overall!
We were tired and didn’t think it would taste as good as it was (the classic cheeseburger). These burgers in other places taste (and often) smell funky, but this one was smooth and not processed type!
Innovative and unique fries too!
Must visit and definitely a 5-star!
PS: The staff was quite helpful, thoughtful and generous :) They not only helped (and patiently) answer our questions, but also allowed us to decide the items from menu that best suited to our taste and preferences - this including tasting of their sauces 🙂
Kudos to the team, especially Terry (the server) and Erkan (the head chef) - who (by the way) makes all the patties and sauces himself and this is why it taste so fresh, yummy and well quite unique 💚
They also use 100% all beef or chicken products and source local farms to support the community. Support this newly opened restaurant and support the Derby community!

S. A.I ordered a Cheesehood burger and loved every morsel of it! One of the best burgers i have ever had thus far! The chips were nicely seasoned and came with 3 different sauces, the staff and service was brilliant too. Highly recommend this place, no doubt I will be returning to try all the other burgers on their menu!
S. B.THE BEST CHIPS I HAVE EVER HAD THE PLEASURE OF PUTTING IN MY MOUTH. The burgers are really, really good. I've tried 3 different kinds and each one was delicious, the pretzel Bun is 🤌 beautiful. I've also tried the mozzarella sticks and chicken bites which are also delicious! I'd 1000% recommend for a beautiful restaurant quality burger and chips with sides 😋

N.Always friendly... Not a big place to dine in but clean and well decorated. Plenty of choice with local beef and crispy buttermilk chicken burgers (my favourite) the sauces are beautiful too and well seasoned chunky chips. Can never finish a meal which says alot about the quantity! Fairly priced keep up the hard work :)
B. B.One of the best, if not THE best burgers in Derby. I will go a long way for a good burger, and now I do not have to as they are on my doorstep. Excellent 100% beef burgers with a proper sear, and still juicy inside. Fresh cooked caramelised fried onions, fresh tomato/lettuce, all in perfect toasted burger bun, a type I have not seen before (no Brioche rubbish here). Excellent and generous portion of fries, always freshly cooked, served (eating in) with a selection of tasty sauces. Very friendly and helpful staff - this is now my go-to burger place in Derby.
a.The food is great, the vegetarian burger is great! Chips too, they can be over seasoned from time to time as I have ordered from here 4/5 times. My friends love the meat burgers. The packaging is great!

Burger patty beautifully seasoned and juicy. Thick cut pickles, crispy onions, Monterey Jack cheese complement the BBQ and mayo perfectly. The pretzel bun is crisp and keeps all the beautiful flavours within the burger without going soggy. Overall one of the best burgers I’ve ever had and a genuine delight.
The chips are also smashing. Generously seasoned and well salted they are crisp on the outside yet soft inside. A great chip to accompany the meal.
Would recommend if you haven’t already taken the hint.

S. A.These guys have blown up the burger game in Derby, I've ordered twice in the last two weeks. The cheesy hood burger is to die for and the chips are coated in a lovely seasoning (although I asked for less seasoning on mine). They've paid a lot of attention to the detail of the food, the appearance is as good as the taste and they've even got nice sauces. You'll pay a lot more for inferior burgers elsewhere.
R. S.So pleased Derby has finally upped it's Burger game! Have had it 3 times and each time the order has been correct (surprisingly difficult it would seem when using other places) and the food is excellent quality and really well presented. So tasty, had a friend visiting from Leicester who said it beats anything from there too! The staff are really helpful, pleasant and polite too. Just a really good experience and would happily recommend to anyone.

A. S.Popped in and bought their Cheesehood Burger and a Strawberry Milkshake to take away. The burger itself is the best I have ever tasted. Real quality ingredients were used, top notch stuff. The chips were excellent, seasoned in such a delicious and unique way. The Milkshake was of high standard too and was thick and creamy and was topped off with cream as well.
The presentation of the burger and the chips in the Burgerhood box added to the overall experience. The packaging and attention to detail is fantastic. The service is very professional and friendly. I will certainly be going back for a second visit to sample another burger, this is not fast food in the usual sense, this is a meal! This is a burger for 'grownups!"

This is a very hospitable place regardless of its 'badman' appearance and I'll definitely be eating here again. I definitely recommend this place and the music was nice too - as if a roadman was in his feelings and decided to listen to some Ed Sheeran instead of some Headie one. This place makes you comfortable with a nice atmosphere and I'll leave that as it is.

The meal is packaged in a high quality sturdy cardboard box with ventilation holes which retains the freshly cooked taste and together with the paper carrier bag, prevents the burger and chips becoming soggy by the time you arrive home.
Great friendly staff and service, will definitely return, insha'Allah.
