Food is always served fresh and hot, after eating her numerous times and trying out different dishes I can say their food is good quality and filling. Customer service is second to none always had a good experience here , very family friendly would recommend to anyone wanting to come out for a good filling meal in a friendly environment

Went for a day trip from London. Read excellent reviews beforehand and thought was worth a try. Was not dissapointed! Food was spot on! Great presentation and loved the freshness of the food. Came here to visit a friend from London and he brought me to this restaurant and i have to say even in London i have not eaten proper authentic Pakistani food especially Charsi Lamb karahi.

Based in the heart of Normanton Road one of the best and finest Asian food I have ever came across. Came with the family and felt it as it is a home. The staff welcomed us in with smile and respect. Very straight forward menu to choose from and food was delicious when it came piping hot. The food brought back memories which we were lacking for a long time. The lamb karahi was delicious and out this world 🌎. The chicken karahi was on a next level and mouth watering. The Mix Plater was marinated with the finest spices and tender. One of the best 👌 experiences we had as a family after a long time. Would recommend everyone to try.

Visited last night from nottingham due to a couple of recommendations. It really lived up to expectations. The whole experience was a pleasant one. We felt valued as customers by the excellent service from Hamid, and Waleed. As for the food we started with a mixed platter followed by the achari lamb karahi. The grilled meat was tender and flavoursome, and the Karahi is also recommended. Well done to the boys and keep up the good work

Attended Maher's this evening with two colleagues from work who live out of Derby. We had the Tawa for 4 people. The grilled food along with the Curries was excellently cooked. Very fresh and tasty. We all enjoyed the meal. I would highly recommend Maher's. The only downside which is not a complaint is we were sat at the table next to the door which leads to the toilets. This location is very tight and everytime a customer walked past my colleague to access the toilets a very strong cold draft of wind came bursting through to us. Apart from this issue we had a great experience. Space too tight for a table.

Ordered the Tawa special (For 2 People) and a cheeseburger meal via the website, which was an easy process and included delivery for 50p. The food arrived not too long after the estimated time(very busy sat night with England football match on😄). The delivery driver was friendly, the food was packaged well and was delicious. Will definitely order again, or take a visit to eat in. The website food tracker is not very accurate but a quick phone call answered my query promptly. 👍😃

Very nice place to eat traditional Pakistani food. We ate fresh lamb karrahi and seekh kabab. We absolutely loved it. Karrahi had a good amount of meat and was very delicious. Me and my brother was welcomed with polite staff and the owner who came and had a chat with us. Nice clean restaurant we had haif kg chicken karahi it came out on a balti type tawa and presented excellent with chopped ginger on top . Having dipped it with a nan bread it was so nice the best ever you must try highly recommended belive me i have tried hundreds of places i will tell all my freinds and famiky about this new place and will definitely return back and the prices were really reasonable can not belive the bill.very cheap you must try this place

Ordered tawa for 2 last night. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and freshness of the food. Had a few tawas from derby but Mahers tawa has to be the best iv had so far. Chicken karahi was cooked nicely, chicken was not over cooked and tender like it is so often when you buy a karahi.

Upon entering this establishment I was initially taken by the eye catching design and decor. Whilst seated I felt the cloud like softness of seats upon me and the never ending choice of food on the menu. The interpersonal skills of the staff allowed us to build rapport but also struck the balance to ensure our food was served in a timely manner. Tried this place for the first time on Monday. It was so enjoyable that we came back the next day! Everything from the mixed grill to the curries, lassi, naan and rice are so tasty. We also got a "Tawa for 2", a great menu option to taste a variety of their foods.
