Visiting Derby for the weekend, tried Mogul restaurant. Ali the waiter worked so hard bless him. Rushed off his feet, kept his cool and so pleasant and polite despite being short staffed. The food was delicious and would highly recommend this place.

We've not been here for over 3 years. It's one of those places where if you want to go somewhere last minute, you can go to and get a table straight away. The food we had was amazing. The only reason that I haven't given five stars was that we had to wait slightly longer than I would have anticipated on this occasion.

Delicious food, very affordable prices. Well worth a try for a cozy night out as a couple, or in a small group. A very budget friendly restaurant. I would avoid going in a large party however. I went with a group of around 20 and they struggled to cope with that number of people all at once. I would recommend.

This is a hidden gem, great food just in the city center, quick service, not always crowded,but taste is equally good compared to all the Indian restaurant in Derby. Quantity is quite big, good for sharing.

Badboy curry. Very authentic didnt take long to arrive generous portions. Even gave me a free popadom and pickle tray. If i lived close enough this would definetly be my go to place. Definitely would order again.

What a fantastic find. Visited Derby for weekend with friends. This restaurant was spacious, clean and inviting. Staff were very welcoming & friendly. The food was amazing. Great menu choice lots of variety and good quality food. Would definitely return if we were ever in the area.

Been coming here for so many years, I can't remember how long! By far the best in the city centre and much better value than the overpriced 'experience' places in Midland Road and on the outskirts of Derby. The flavours always seem a bit better at weekends, maybe a different chef, but it's very rare to have any problems here. The staff are relaxed and friendly, and the decor is what you might call '80's chic', not to everyone's taste I'm sure. My only gripes would be that toilet facilities need an upgrade and there is sometimes a long wait between courses even when not busy, although this issue seems to have been resolved of late. Update 10-18 : still awesome. Just in case you wondered.

Had a takeaway last night 2-19 and it was ok,seemed friendly and on the ball,curry was ok,not a explosion in flavours and meat was not bite sized,nan good and rice a bit blocky,was late.middle of the road in all areas,hard to park,some say it's the best etc,they need to get out more it seems. Get the toilets modernised and a better chef for 5 stars.

Portsmouth to Derby for a 60th Birthday. A party of 16 of us went for a set menu dinner. This was a dining experience. The food was amazing and beautifully presented, the service awesome. I can't speak highly enough about all the dishes we ate they were just superb. This is the first place I will book to eat when we return in the summer. 16 very happy customers.

Food was pretty good but a little expensive.. this seems to be a Derby thing. I work up and down the uk and eat in many an Indian restaurant. This was the most expensive to date... only by a couple of pounds but seems to be the going rate in Derby. Strange?? Cheaper in London last week.

I come here only for the great Indian food, because I adore it. Service is terrible and the atmosphere is a little seedy. After all, I can not say the same for their food, which is cooked wonderfully. NAGA, which is chicken or lamb tikka with a blend of fresh spices and Bangladeshi Naga chillies, is my favorite dish there.
