Small menu, but done very well. Choice of curries and hot sizzling dishes. Fish pakoras were sublime, crunch batter with flaky fish. Selection of wines and beers to choose from. Even though not on the menu, I got two soft and crispy chappattis, delicious. Great parking facilities with a large outside sitting area next to the picturesque canal and great to have a pint and catch the sun. Can't fault it. Grab a paddle board and come visit or even catch the odd barge floating past.

The food is always good but the only thing that really let's it down is the lacklustre approach to customer service. Sometimes you are kept waiting for ages when you want to order another drink or the empty plates are not taken away quickly enough. The price of a curry now, including a rice and naan bread is over £15, even closer to £20 if you have lamb or prawn. That is ridiculous. Would definitely recommend.

I have just spent a thoroughly enjoyable evening at Naveed with my partner. The place is very clean, attentive and polite staff and the food was absolutely beautiful throughout. A good choice of drinks and a nice outdoor drinking area next to the canal. We will most definitely be attending again

Very good experience. We went for some food and sat outside. The service is excellent. The staff are well trained and professional. Also polite and friendly. My partner dropped his wallet there and didn't realize until later on. Next day he rang the Nadee. They had found the wallet and it was returned intact. Restores faith in people.

Great service, plenty of staff and very attentive, did not even have to think about looking for someone to place a drinks or food order... Staff were already on it.. Fantastic service by all food was good, nice selection and severed in good time, a lovely evening, could do with a little spruce up.. But still worth a visit... Worth adding a walk to Willington.. Mercia marina or the stenson bubble all walkable via the canal..

Very nic indian restaurant at a great location by the canal. Ample parking and there's even an outdoor sandy play area for the little ones. Great place to eat, the mixed grill was delicious. No problems with social distancing with plenty of outdoor tables.

went to a wedding here, great venue by the canal, with a pub and indian restaurant serving authentic indian food. reasonably priced. cobra and mongoose on tap with some ipas. lovely outdoor seating area watching the boats go by. cosy interior. decent beer. worth a visit. go for a walk along the canal visit willington and then come and have your supper here.

We stumbled on this place having visited the Mercia Marina and doing the nature walk No.1 Alongside the canal. We had the "All you can eat" Sunday lunch buffet for £10.99 per person. Not an overwhelming choice but nevertheless a reasonable choice. All the food was delicious and we tried a bit of everything . A reasonable choice of beer and lager including cobra (Inc non alc ).We chose to eat inside although the view in the garden by the canal is very picturesque. A warm friendly welcome and good service so we shall return at a later date.

Had a lovely meal here last night, food was good and well set up for social distancing. What made our evening though was the great service, especially by Nav who was very knowledgeable about how all the dishes were made and genuinely wanted to make sure we enjoyed our meal- not just a half hearted " is everything ok with your food". I was quite upset to overhear him being heavily criticised by another diner who was ignoring all the social distancing instructions to shout at him loudly in the restaurant. She seemed to think he had been rude to her, which I found surprising given how friendly and polite he had been to our table. He was the picture of professionalism throughout this onslaught and a credit to the restaurant so I hope this review mitigates any unwarranted negative feedback! Thank you for a great meal.

Food is not even average its just below average taste. Its nice for a drink on the river side as there are plenty of seating and play area available with river side view. It's okay for a sunny day visit with a drink but not okay for food as the price is too costly for the taste and quantity!!!!

Had the Chicken Balti with extra coriander which was the tastiest I've had in a long time. Would of put 5 stars if the portions where larger. Great outdoors area next to the canal and nice atmosphere. Will defo come back again. Overall awesomeness.

I would like to thank Mr Navdeep Gidda and his team for providing top class bespoked service. They went an extra length to make our daughter's wedding ceremony special. All the guests were full of praise and were really impressed with the timing and quality of service provided. The venue was perfect and surroundings were awesome. I would strongly recommend this venue for special occasions.

We went to the restaurant for a family celebration but we're VERY DISSAPOINTED with FOOD and SERVICE. Palak paneer was tasteless and huge chunks of paneer added that should of been cut smaller. Chillie paneer was a pathetic size and too salty to eat. The waiter who served our food questioned WHY WE NEEDED SIDE PLATES AND NAPKINS FOR THE STARTERS. He then refused to let us keep our pickle tray and main waiter lied and blamed us for him not writing down the rutti on order. RIDICULOUS SERVICE. VERY POOR FOR A SPECIAL OCCASION. DO NOT EXPECT ANYTHING OF QUALITY
