The wait for a table was longer than we expected (30 mins) due to staff shortages. The staff were friendly and nice especially David who was a great host. The full chicken was smaller than I have been accustomed to. The new gravy is ok but not value for money based on the portion served. However the chicken was amazing and the staff were great.

Nice restaurant, nice view overlooking the rest of the shopping centre. Only 4 stars because the staff were so inattentive. We had to wait for a table and they asked for our phone number, I said that we wouldn't be going anywhere, and that we would wait in the seating area at the front (the bit for people to wait in). They completed forgot about us even though we were the only ones waiting, we had to go and tell them that we had received a text message saying that the table was ready.

Want to thank the service I got today from Nando’s especially a woman called (chantey sorry if I didn’t get your name right and the manager on shift never got ur name sorry ) , my son picked up the wrong bank card and was so ashamed to walk away without our Nando’s fix, I tried to pay by cash but u guys could not accept the money! ( due to restrictions ) You made my son very happy to give him his meal for free ❤️ Thank u again so much I don’t mind again coming in to pay for this,! But ur booking system going into the place is shocking , having to book in even though no queue, ( again I know places are different with the new rules ect) but chantey was extremely helpful with it all came over and took our order straight away as seen we was struggling l ( the guy who couldn’t speak much English was really unhelpful and left us to it and didn’t really understand what we had to do , sorry hun but u need more training on how to deal with customers who are unsure of the new service rules ( very polite though ) but again the food was lush, and got to use my free food vouchers, that had been extended due to the pandemic last year , we had the sweet pot fries, chicken pitta , and kids wings with corn and chips, 🙌! Again thank u really meant a lot to us xx

I like Nandos but not being able to book is a pain as waiting times can be long depending on time of day. Food is good...what you expect from Nandos...chicken! I've always thought the chips could be better quality for the price but that's my taste. I've been to this Nandos a few times and to be honest it's very hit and miss with the staff...they're either really nice or really rude, not much inbetween. Overall, a decent Nandos

Fantastic service amid Covid-19, staff taking all measures to ensure social distancing and clean practice including virtual queueing and ordering from your table. Food was hot, came out quick and was to a fantastic standard, staff were a pleasure to talk to and couldn’t fault their customer service skills! Lovely experience, would visit again :)

Had a lovely experience at nandos intu. Staff were very attentative and food was great. Covid restrictions followed and systems in place make it feel very safe. Shout out to kieran for being super welcoming, attentive and all round fabulous. Made our day 10 times better.

Long wait with their virtual queue which took an hour and a half, but once in great service, food was very tasty and well presented. Staff were responsive and the cleaning measures in place put us at ease. Would recommend scanning in the virtual queue then going shopping for an hour.

My now favourite go-to place! Finally able to go to Wagamama - food there was great, especially the squid! Only critic, the food needed more seasoning. Nandos - Was good, just disappointed there was no mash. Hollywood Bowl - love this place! Great venue to play a good game of poola dn staff are friendly.

Dont really know what all the hype is about. Food was OK, burger was cold and I struggled to bite through the burger cob as it was hard. One member of staff was quite rude, I asked for mayonnaise, she asked me to wait 5 minutes and carried on clearing tables, I carried on eating slowly while I waited which was a good job as otherwise by the time she arrived my plate would of been practically empty.

Great service went at 3pm not much of a wait. Seated in about 10 minutes . Queue for ordering moved quickly. Food came out within 15 minutes. Ordered perinaise which they always forget to bring. Half a chicken was definetly smaller than usual .the tastiest we have had in a while .

Extra extra hot wasn't very hot at all but nice lime flavour. A bit soulless to be honest, had the feel of a fast food place that aspires to be a restaurant. Visited on a busy Saturday night. It was busy and had to wait 25 mins for a table. I had never been to a Nando’s before and thought it was table service at first. You have to go to the tills, at which I was served by a scruffy bloke with tattoos. Food was fine but pricey. Overrated place in my opinion.

The sauces were somehow strange on taste. Lemon and herbs was not at all tasty. Wild herbs also. Service wise all looked too much in a pre determined way. Not feeling the joy there. This Nando's in the Intu Centre next to the cinema is a good Nando's. Always friendly and polite staff here, never had a bad experience here. The food is really good. I've been here several times and the food has always been piping hot and with the correct spices. This place is quite popular so there can be a wait at peak times but it's worth it.

I’m sat here in Nando’s having one of the best experiences ever out of all my visits here. I was tended to by David, a pleasant happy professional person who made my visit today superb. His manner along with the other staff was professional and friendly and very approachable. I had my two young children with me who were very hungry and were rather impatient whilst waiting for their food. David, noticed this from afar and made the effort to entertain and engage with them to make the wait that much easier. A very well run Nando’s and run by a brilliant group of people. This is a portuguese traditional food restaurant that reflects very well the influence of the others in portuguese gastronomy and culture. You can see it in the walls, taste it in the food and heard it in the music. It's a full immerse sensation of what it means to be portuguese. It's not a country, it's a lot of countries mixed in symphony. And it's absolutely wonderful! The problem is when you hire people from a country like UK whose traditional food are tin beans, stone bread, eggs & sausage and think spicy is the only seasoned that exists, to serve real food that most of them only dream to try once in their life! Not only that. The staff was too young to even have any kind of knowledge about food! They seemed to be mostly students the ones that the greedy companies like to hire because are less expensive (unfortunately that is the portuguese businesses mentality and the main cause of their failure). Because of that we got our order wrong 3 times! From the till to the table the service went from mediocre to bad. Since do not been familiarize with the name of the food to do not know the difference between chicken legs and chicken wings. 4* stars because the food made feel like at home. ❤

Nando's has lost its quality over the past few years in my opinion. Hot used to be hot but now is kinda mild at best. The extra hot is slightly better but it feels like Nando's are watering down the thing they are best at...great quality, tasty chicken. This Nando's is one of the better ones but my word do they need to sort their chips out! Soggy and tasteless. This is probably a supplier issue more than how they're cooked. This place is fine for a quick bite after the cinema or when you need your energy boosted after shopping in Intu but don't expect too much.

What's not to love about Nando's?! I was treating me and my partner to a meal out as we'd gone to Derby for some Christmas shopping. No suprise the food was amazing! I cannot fault Nando's on the food, and their staff and service is really good! Anyone who hasn't had food from here yet should definitely go and try, it's well worth it!

Nando's is a well known family restaurant, the Intu Derby branch is my favourite one. Staff friendly, waiting time is reasonable and a variety to choose from in the menu. The good thing about Nando's is adding new items in the menu everyone we come in for dinner. Most important is the staff, they make you feel comfortable all the way till you leave. I would recommend the Intu branch for family and friends.

The service here left a lot to be desired. Our group didn't really appreciate being crammed onto a table in the corner when several larger tables were going spare. When we asked to move, we were told that we couldn't. And the tables remained empty. Just a bit bizarre really. Also, the location of this branch isn't great. It's on top of the Westfield Shopping Centre, so I wouldn't recommend the trek (plus the bother of finding somewhere to park) unless you were already there. Food no different to any I've had at any other Nando's chain, which is to say "not bad."
